"We shall see... Though judging by her personality I will not expect whatever she had in store for us to be easy..."

A smile curved her lips, this one more bright than her original one. It was a sign of her excitement. Whatever was to come she was looking forward to it. The prospect of a new challenge and the chance to test herself once more promised an interesting day to come. As much as she was not willing to admit it the one place she had left to feel at home was on the field of battle.

Schizo wasn't sure of his words but it was good that he was talking seeing as he had nearly only talked to grimm which was a one sided conversation unless he had to buy something from a store. Seeing the look in his eye he assumed he was being a bit weird but not entirely seeing as he continued thereto conversation. The boy greeted Schizo with his name "My names Schizo Bazaar" he said as he reached out and shook his hand "Oh yeah you mentioned my weapon before" he pulled the odd looking miniature cannon from his side "Trust me it's alot cooler than it looks I call it Tamashi, I hope I can prove it's worth tomorrow, how about your weapon?" he did his best to keep up the the conversation, it didn't look like it but he was struggling.

Colt looked at the many people still talking and looked at the time. It was midnight and boy was he ready to kill some people if they decided to keep chatting. He looked at a man in an eye patch, a blond kid, the girl STILL sharpening her blades and an motorcyclist? He whispered loud enough for them to hear but not loud enough to wake the others saying "I know you all are having some great bonding time and all but i would love it if you went to sleep."

Redmond was about to tell Schizo about his weapon, Paradox, but he was interrupted by Colt telling them to hit the sack. Redmond looked at the time. "Wow. It got late quickly." he said, "I guess I'll see you tomorrow. Hopefully then I'll be able to tell you about my weapon." With that, Redmond walked to one of the open sleeping bags and got in. Hopefully sleeping in his clothes wouldn't be too unbearable.

Jinie took a position where most of the girls were. Many had gone to sleep straight away but she decided to stay up to watch the others. She saw a girl maintaining her weapon. Leone talking to a gray-haired boy did not go unnoticed either but before she could decide to join the conversation, they had parted quickly and left to sleep. She turned to the others but hearing that gray-haired boy hush them to sleep, she decided against interacting with them. Best she sleep as well for whatever the event will be tomorrow. She hoped that whoever will be in her team, she will get along with him or her well.

Schizo heard a voice, a fellow student telling everyone to go to sleep, it was late and he was right and Redmond agreed as well and left "See ya later" he said as he left, grabbing Tamashi and placing it back to it's previous position. He slid down the wall to lay a bit flatter out, the cool floor relaxed him and his eye's fell shut.

Kurisu, all the way across the room, heard one of the students get up and tell them to get to sleep. "Well, I guess that's that.. I guess I should at least try to get to sleep.." And with that, Kurisu separated his Crossbow, now named Kurisu, back into Blade Form, and put them away. He then slid off his position on the window sill and grabbed the nearest sleeping bag, propping himself up against the wall, and slouching back. Today was better than he'd expected. He'd actually gotten into Beacon Academy, and he'd met a nice person to boot... He eventually drifted off into the embrace of sleep, falling unconscious until morning.

Yuri wasn't sure what to make of the headmaster its almost like she was trying to get rid of some of the students and at other times feed her ego by having them all cheer but who knows she may have had her reasons or that may just be her. Still she knew how to make an impression whether it was a good one of bad one they was still time to see. Waiting until most people had dispersed and went into the cafeteria so once again he could avoid being pushed and bumped into since his weapon currently in the shape of a large bag with make going through groups of people harder. Once nearly everyone had already left to the cafeteria he decided to go since the big pile up of people had already gone through.

Once he arrived at the cafeteria he took a look around. Most people were either talking and getting to know one another or they were sleeping. As it was he hadn't talked to one person on the way to Beacon and now that he was in Beacon he still hadn't all well they was always tomorrow always more time. What annoyed him more is he had no time to read since he was feeling tired from not sleeping the day before. So he took a seat next to a wall and fell asleep. He was used to sleeping like that from the days he spent hunting Grimm alone a few years back since he had no place to go.

Odesse bit back the urge to snap a comeback at the silver haired male. She had noticed him earlier and from what she had observed of him so far she doubted they would get along to well. Sighing softly she shook her head, moving her case off the sleeping bag and laying down. Rolling on to her side she tucked her arm beneath her head and proceeded to stare out the window. She'd fall asleep eventually.

Amarantos sighed as mostly everyone was falling asleep. She didn't care where she slept but first she had to check her weapon. Bring out her weapon, nameless till she could name it something, she began to check it for any leaks of the dust inside. Seeing none, she transformed it to its rapier form and began checking it.

As usual, Yui was huddled in the farthest corner, pretty much no one is near her. "I don't know if I could do this." She mumbled to Gemini, making extra care that no one hears her. "There's too many people, I might faint in the most embarrassing time." She said, tearing up slightly. She always had this big fear of being around many people, even fainting on some occasions. Thankfully, Gemini decided to not give any snarky remarks or to boss her around. "It's fine, I'm sure you're gonna be able to make it." She comforted Yui.

Leone

The next morning, Leone woke up with a loud yawn, finding that most of the other students were waking up as well. Having slept in his clothes, he was already quite prepared for whatever this day had in store. He began a slow walk out of the cafeteria, amongst a slowly growing crowd, moving back towards the auditorium. However, once they arrived, the only thing they found to greet them was a sign, directing them to head out to the cliff side overlooking the Emerald Forest. No one dared complain about the walk, in case the headmistress was watching, as they didn't know what she'd do just quite yet. Several walk-filled minutes later, the crowd found itself at the side of the cliffs, where several strange, metallic squares were embedded in the ground, and their Headmistress stood, watching them with the eyes of a hawk.

Once they had arrived, she smirked, and began to speak. "At Beacon Academy, this will be your first and by far most important.... exam. Today, you will be evaluated on how well you preform, if you make it through alive." several students gulped audibly. "Not only that, but today, you will be assigned teams as well. In fact, the first person you make eye contact with becomes your partner for the next four years. The two of you must stick together. The first other pair you come into contact with will become the other half of your group. These groups and partnerships will not be changed while you are at Beacon Academy. Now, take your positions on the squares, and prepare for launch," she finished, before taking a step out of the way. "Once you land, your task is to make it to the Northern end of the forest. That is all," she stated.

Yuri was up rather early for a chance he just want to know what would be the first thing the headmaster would put them through. Picking up his weapon he pulled himself to his feet just as most of the others were waking up. He was already dressed but still looked unarmed as his weapon was well hidden...as a giant bag still it made for one hell of a cushion if he ever needs one. He began to follow the crowd were ever they were going would properly be the pale to go or at lease he hopes it would. The walk wasn't so hard however others looked different still at least they haven't had to sleep outside. He found himself at a cliff overlooking Emerald Forrest a place know to be filled with grimm still it didn't bother him so much it would be more of a challenge than anything.

He listened to what the Headmaster had to say and it intrigued him he was wrong about what her thought about the head teacher she seemed to be different but in a good way. "So the first person you meet is your partner." He mutters to himself smirking so anyone of the many people her could end up partnered with Yuri or visa versa. He stepped up and took his position waiting for the others to do the same he was on the first square.

Schizo awoke feeling oddly comfortable even on the hard floor, he was hesitant on getting up so he took a few minutes before actually sitting up and then standing up. He looked around seeing that some students had left, though not sure where they were going he just followed the next student but he realized his attire still felt out of place so he rummaged through his bag and soon found a red t-shirt and slipped it on. "Better" he said to himself as he hastily caught up with the others, he came to a stop at the cliff, ahead of many others surprising, he listened to what headmaster said and took his place on the square.

Yui woke up earlier than the others, mostly because she hardly fell asleep the night before. The anxiety and nervousness, a little excitement too, made it almost impossible for her to sleep. But now that she was standing in front of the forest on top of a launching pad, she really hoped that she had some sleep. "The first person you meet..." She said, letting the thought sink in. "With my luck, I wold end up without a partner." She murmured, knowing it might be possible. "Don't worry Yui. Once you're up in the air, leave everything to me." Gemini said, getting pumped up.

Odesse was a habitually early riser and found herself among the first few students up. Of course she had only been asleep for 3 hours, but it was more than enough time for her to recharge. Straightening out her outfit she sighed slightly. No matter the occasion Odesse always wore her Cirque uniform. Much like Crystal Lotus it was a part of what made her who she was, a part of her past that she doggedly refused to let go.

With her uniform straightened out she crouched to retrieve Crystal Lotus from its case. She only used the carrying case for long journey, when it came to battle it was an impractical thing to carry. Selecting a number of small dust vials Odesse slid back her sleeves. Attached to each wrist was a wide band of silver metal with a rotating outer band designed to hold and load her dust vials. Clicking the vials into place the female uttered a soft sound of satisfaction. Hooking Crystal Lotus into the straps on her waist she headed from the cafeteria, melding in with the small yet groggy crowd headed for the auditorium.

Like all the others she saw the sign directing them to the cliffs and made the rather peaceful trek to the site of what would be there first test. Looking out over the forest Odesse smiled slightly as the headmaster spoke. Being launched into the woods to be paired with the first person she met, it was an intriguing thought.

Moving to stand on one of the square silver launching pads she could feel her body humming with excitement. She was concerned little about being propelled, airborne, into the forest. Landing after all would be no issue for her.

Amarantos smiled as she fixed her uniform before grabbing Artemidoros and stepping onto a silver launch pad. She didn't have to worry about falling since she could use her glyphs but she had to make sure not to reveal she was a Faunus.

The inside of an airship could not get any sweeter, living in the rubble of the old city. It took quite the soul to do something like that, to help save people to stay there when he was asked to come. Rust decided to stay till everyone was saved, the thing was, the underground part of the city with the railroad was supposed to save people. But they had to close it so the grimm could not get in so along with Rust, families and good people stood. When hope had all but given up, the hunters came and saved some of the survivors, it seemed like week after week, month after month more would leave. All except Rust he stayed, there is no explanation why he did so long, and how he was never killed. But he was not and now, after a couple of years being trapped in a grimm infested hell. Rust was heading to Beacon.

Not by choice however, well to go to beacon, he had to go more or less, he wanted to become a hunter but the people of vale also had to watch over him and monitor. Living in a place like that really destroyed a person so this was the way he could continue his dream to protect those weaker then him and recover from the trauma he went through while he was there. They were pretty sure something happened, the happy kid that begun there came back a man with tattered armor and a broken personality. Rust arrived at Beacon in the morning before the test had begun, he chose to have what happened kept a secret. Kind of like his life before it happened and his name were a mystery.

Rust walked to the platforms, none of the kids knew him and he was quite intimidating, he was very tall with an eriee steam or smoke as it looked rolling off his armor and skin. His weapon was covered in a tattered cloth and on his back his footsteps quite heavy as he reached the platform taking a platform near the end a teacher accompanying him. Some kids may have recognized him on the news this day, the guy in the mist as the news people reported it. The full story was not and all they had was a picture but it was clear he was hiding something. but who does not. Rust stood there not grabbing his weapon or anything staring off into the horizon his eyes not visible just his armor, he looked like living armor..

Kurisu woke up feeling uncomfortable as all hell. He felt oddly stiff, most likely due to being propped up against the wall. He quickly stood up and stretched, listening to the rather satisfying cracking sounds coming from his midsection. After following the headmistress away from the cafeteria along with the hundreds of other students. Eventually Kurisu found himself standing on a small cliff overlooking the Emerald Forest. Everybody had been instructed to ready themselves on one of the various metal squares. His plan was to grapple onto something to stick the landing, so he already had his two hooks out and ready..

Suddenly, and without warning, the platforms shot up, launching each student off like a cannon into the Emerald Forest. It'd appear that their Headmistress had decided to surprise them, probably to "Help their reaction times in tight situations" or something close to that. Leone was quite surprised to find himself suddenly in the air, flying like a bird. He whipped out both of his weapons, holding them tightly in their folded form. As he continued hurtling through the air, he spotted a perfectly sized branch whishing towards him. He put out the hooked inside of his weapon, catching it on the branch. His momentum carried him, and he spun over and under the branch like a gymnast, as he landed on top of the branch, straightening his weapons as he dropped to the ground, aiming them around.

Yuri smiled as he was shot in the air but as it was he didn't really have a plan to land if he wanted to he could use his weapon as a landing platform in its bag form but wheres the fun in that no instead he changed his weapon into its normal spear form and placed it under his feet almost like he was surfing on it since well he wanted all the style points he could get and well this just looked awesome in his mind. Once he reached tree level he activated the rocket booster attacked to his weapon to propel him father, he was dodging trees much how a surfer does shifting his body weight and the full weapon until he was about to reach the ground and his speed was very slow. He simply allowed the spear to hit a tree before stopping full about a center meter away from the tree its self literally his nose was touching it. He jumped off his spear and changed its form into the bag once again its handle shortening, the rockets enclose and leather straps appear from its back making a giant backpack which he places on his back.

"WHEEE~!"

Amarantos yelled out as she was catapulted into the forest. While it would've been fun to continue flying like this, she knew she had to land. Using her semblance, Amarantos landed smoothly on the forest floor.

"That was fun! I hope the headmistress would do something like this again soon!"

Amarantos said to herself, with Artemidoros in its rapier form but she transformed it into its bow form.

Schizo was propelled into the air, he had no real plan how he was going to land there was no real safe way to do it and none of his weapons worked in a way that he could land safely. He was in mid flight and his only option was to land using brute force, pulling out his weapon and adjusting it so that when it changed it would be positioned as he needed it. Tamashi began to grow in size rapidly knocking him back then falling to the ground due to it's mass causing Schizo to hastily rotate his body to grab Tamashi, lucky for him this actually worked in his favor, he positioned his feet as if the cannon was some kind of board. He began to fall a lot of faster and straight for a tree, he shifted and turned Tamashi and shot the tree and as he hit crashed into it it fell in away cushioning his fall. He crawled from out the tree tree and returned Tamashi to it's original hand held size. He looked around and continued to walk the direction he fell from.

Without warning the platform under Kurisu sprung up and launched him up in the air at about a 45 degree angle. Kurisu was flailing in the air for several seconds before he caught himself and started falling... with style. He was heading directly for a tree. He couldn't really move himself out of the way, so he moved it so his Hooks took most of the impact and caught him. He kicked off the tree and withdrew his hooks, landing with relative ease. Adrenaline was still pumping through his veins, and he took off through the forest, looking for the nearest person to partner up with.

Rust was randomly flung into the air, he was very heavy so he would sink fast, in mid air he ripped his sword off his back and clicked a button. The Chainsaw sword shreaded through the cloth as he neared a tree he lifted the blade so it was above his head in a stabbing position and drove the sword into the tree sawing his way quickly to the bottom for a safe landing, as soon as he got up he grabbed his blade which was now glowing because of the friction and could not release the flames because of the tree began to singe through the tree. Rust ripped it out easily seeing as how most of the area around the sword was either all sawed through or was now singed. Rust began to walk dragging the sword behind him with one hand the saw stopped going to reduce the sound and to let the sword cool down so it did not catch flame so early on.
