Futuristic Running for your life (OPEN + ACCEPTING)

Ezekiel shrugged and gave him a slightly blank look. "Dunno. I guess maybe ask her if..." He was tempted to say ask if she was okay because of his childlike good nature. He wasn't exactly naive- he was just a little too trusting and caring. "...if she was just wandering around or if she was following us or something. I dunno." He shrugged again and looked over at her, wondering exactly how scared she was and if she was okay. She looked pissed more than anything.

(Going to bed, night!)

(Bye)

Michael cleared his throat and started over. "Hey! What were you doing in the forest?" Michael asked slightly aggressive.

Michael watched her leave. He looked down at the floor, he thought of all the other ways things could have went. He walked out too. He didn't mean to be so harsh to Luna, but secrets hurt people. "I guess so do I." Michael thought.

"C'mon Zeke, Val. We are leaving. Dunno why Mike brought us out here for nothing." She made a hissing sound at the silvery haired girl just before she left, telling her to get out.

"Honestly, what sort of idiotic Elttia are you four? Just letting me go like that, how fucking stupid can you get?" Squalo scoffed as she got out the warehouse, unable to reign in her temper as she narrowed her eyes at them, not in the least afraid of what they might do, subtly clenching her right hand.

Squalo rested her hands on the curves of her hips as she walked past the four of them, her eyes never leaving their own. She heaved a sigh, dropping her glare in the process. "Sorry about my temper, it's been a long fucking night for me." She cussed as she apologized, stretching out the stiffness in her limbs as she groaned softly.

"Look kid, I came out here because I felt I needed to be here." Squalo began to explain as she adjusted her coat, flipping her waist length silver hair over her shoulder as she did so. She scowled lightly as she unbuttoned her coat, revealing her light blue nightgown in the process. "Trust me, I didn't want to get up but unfortunately it wouldn't leave me alone until I found you four."

(Sorry, had to go to school for a few hours.)

Michael listened still looking down at the ground. After the silver haired woman was finished, he just walked away without a word to anyone. He walked a little ways until he found a stream. He found a tree nearby and sat at it's base.

Just as Squalo was about to leave the woods, having finally gotten rid of that irritating feeling since she found out it's source, her blue tinted grey eyes locked onto the form of one of the four Elttia as he slumped down at the base of a nearby tree. The young woman was tempted to just ignore his presence and go back to her home, however, a certain memory suddenly came to the surface.

"Squalo, come over here please." A weak, yet youthful voice called out to the young girl as it's owner stared out at the window next to his hospital bed.

The owner of the voice was none other than Xanxus Vongola, one of her dearest friends. It was just the two of them now in his hospital room. The rest of the group had left early on to give the two of them some alone time, having already said their final goodbyes to their sickly friend.

The Japanese-Italian wordlessly went to his side, biting her lip to keep herself from lashing out in anger or breaking down sobbing as she stared at the frail form of the once head-strong Italian.

"Can you promise me something?" Xanxus asked her softly. Too softly. Squalo choked on a sob as she nodded stiffly in reply to his question, unable to form any coherent words.

"Promise me. Promise me that you'll keep doing good for others. Just as you did for me and everyone else." Xanxus firmly told her as he turned his head to look at her with his deep burgundy eyes, once bright with determination, now dulled.

"Of course." Squalo managed to wrangle out, tears silently streaming down her face, gritting her teeth in frustration as her anger came forward. "Of course I promise. What do you take me for?"

Xanxus only smiled weakly at her before leaning back in his bed, his smile morphing into a soft grin as his eyes closed one last time. "I knew I could count on you, Squalo. Thank you."

"Xanxus? Xanxus! Open your eyes!"

Squalo shook her head abruptly at the memory. Out of all the times for it to resurface, why did it have to be now? She looked back over to the young Elttia before sighing. She promised to Xanxus that she would continue doing good for people, and she's not planning on breaking that promise anytime soon.

Silently approaching the kid, Squalo shoved her hands into the pockets of her coat as she looked down at him. "Hey kid, something wrong?" She subtley winced at the words that came out of her mouth.

While it may have sounded insensitive, Squalo didn't really know how to handle these kinds of situations since her life wasn't exactly the epitome of normality. That didn't stop her from trying though. Even if she wasn't entirely sincere about what she said.

"Huh? Yeah, I'm fine. Just screwed up a bit." Michael replied. He didn't want to relive the memory. He never wanted to. He felt bad. Horrible, even.

Luna followed the group at first, but began doing double-takes towards the village. She really should leave the group. She had to and didn't want to put anyone in danger. Luna took in a sharp breath and pealed away from the group and off to the village, slowly morphing into a tall, blonde woman with soft green eyes and a pretty face with many curves. She shifted her clothing to be a long, tan, cloak with a hood that draped down her back. Luna started to the village silently, masked in the fake girls body.

Michael caught a glimpse of a seemingly random blonde woman. "Why would she be here?" Michael thought. He brushed it off, thinking it was only a human wandering around the forest aimlessly.

Luna pressed her lips into a tight line and took off through the trees and into the village as she joined the crowd of people going through markets. She made sure to lock eye contact with Mike just before leaving, perhaps to give him a hint. Or something. The woman swept with grace as she blended in with the rest of the Huntsmen and Lastmen and Humans. Easy. They were all blind to Luna. Couldn't see past the illusion she was putting forward.

Ezekiel went over to Mike. He hadn't seen what had happened between Luna and Mike so he was confused about why Mike would feel bad. "What happened after I fell asleep? I missed something kinda big didn't I?" The black haired fourteen year old asked before realizing a human stood next to Mike as well asking somewhere around what he had asked. His eyes glowed just a little brighter as he tensed at the sight of her. True, she didn't look like any Huntsmen or Lastmen, but he had never come across a kind human before and he was skeptical.

"Yeah, sure." Michael said, distracted by the blonde. "Hey, wheres Luna?" Michael asked still looking in the direction the blonde woman went. "It couldn't be her, right? She wouldn't just leave." Michael thought.

Ezekiel shrugged. "Dunno. Maybe she had to go to the bathroom?" He looked around curiously as well and noticed a blonde move towards the city. Wait was that her or was that a random chick walking in the forest..?.. He asked himself before looking back at Mike and the human.

"Bathroom, unlikely. But the blonde...the blonde might be her. C'mon." Michael told Zeke, than started running towards the city. "It has to be, it has to be." Michael kept telling himself. Michael ran as fast as he could. He slowed down once he got into the city. Michael looked around everywhere trying to spot the blonde.

Luna came to a marketplace filled with fresh fruits. Rare, for her. She picked an apple up in her hand and took it with her...Along with someone else's wallet. Huntsmen gave her skeptical looks, but she gave them a smile and brown eyes. They believed it. She strode quickly through the village and to the other end of town where no as many people were. This end made her breath easy. She didn't really like crowds. Switching looks would help get anyone off her tail, so she changed to an incredibly tall man with dark hair and green eyes with a rather handsome face. She made sure to do it in an alleyway so that no one could spot her.

Ezekiel followed and looked around for the blonde. "Wait where'd she go? She could be anyone..." By the time they reached people he had already pulled shadows into his irises making them a light brown and pulled his hood over his cat ears and the only thing that stuck out were tufts of his semi-long black bangs.

Ezekiel shook his head. "I don't know. Maybe call her name and see who reacts?" His eyes darted around and searched to catch even the slightest glimpse of the blonde.

"I guess anythings worth a shot at this point." Michael replied. He started walking around, looking slowly now. He called Luna's name and looked who reacted. Nothing. He moved a few blocks down and repeated. Nothing. He finally came upon the end of the town. "Luna!" He called and watched everyone, hoping to spot a reaction.

Luna stayed put where she was. She had spotted the two earlier, but now as a man, they had no idea it was her. Luna didn't respond, but she did want to get away from them. Rushing into a book shop, she pretended to be fascinated by them. Well, she sort of was. She loved astrology books the most....Because of her parents. Luna ran a hand through her dark hair and picked an astrology book from the top shelf, since she could reach it now, and opened to to a page about moons. Luna, meaning moon.

Michael looked back to Zeke. He shook his head "Nothing. She's gone." Michael said. He couldn't help but feel somewhat responsible for her running. "What are we gonna do now?" Michael asked.
