Futuristic Running for your life (OPEN + ACCEPTING)

An elderly man made his way down the pebbled streets of the town with wispy white hair and deep blue eyes, moving quicker than most. He passed by groups of Huntsmen and Lastmen with confidence. The man looked at a piece of paper tacked up against a wooden pole that was leaning a bit and read it. In bold letters, the parchment read, 'Most Wanted. Unknown Whereabouts And Name.' A photo of a girl was posted just below it, but only her eye colour could be seen under the shadows cast across her face. Misty whiteish-lavender. The old man made a grunting noise and ducked into the woods near the village. He removed his cloak and left it on the borderline of the woods before taking off into the trees. Or rather, she took off into the trees.

Michael woke feeling well rested and ready for anything. Or so he thought, when he saw an elderly man change into a girl he didn't know what to do. He looked at his two friends, both had fallen asleep. He just watched the female shapeshifter.

Ezekiel suddenly woke up. He hadn't even realized he'd nodded off but he sensed and saw someone pretty nearby. He was immediately on guard as he looked at some elderly man wandering alone in the woods. He was honestly probably on a walk or something as opposed to trying to hunt the Elttia kids down. Still, Ezekiel stared and couldn't help but feel that something about that old man was... off.

-----------

Jessica checked her special phone for any updates on the recent Elttia. Apparently there were two of them, a girl and a boy. The boy was one of the more, if not most, famous of Elttia due to a load of info his parents had gifted everyone shortly after he had run away from home. If I remember correctly, I believe that brat has escaped me on more than one occasion... Jessica's pride wouldn't allow for him to live. He was too much of a burden and she definitely wasn't going to let anything stop her from killing him. Besides, it was the Lastman's job to do so. See but she was smarter than most Lastmen because she actually tried to think in the shoes of the Elttia and was sure they were either holed up in an abandoned building or they were lingering around in the forest. So she started making her way to the forest since it was the most likely.

Luna went invisible as soon as she heard footsteps behind her and around. There were more than one person near. She slipped past trees and came to a small stream. Kneeling down, Luna took out a pile of papers from her pocket and tossed them into the stream, all labeled with the same thing. Most wanted. It wasn't like she was all that hard to get. In fact, she felt pity for the people who tried to catch her and never did. Idiots. They need to think outside the box. Luna took a few minute to stay knelt at the stream, still invisible and completely silent.

Michael was still watching her when she suddenly went invisible. "What?" Michael accidentally said aloud.

"H-Hello?" Michael called out, hoping it could be another Elttia that could help them. Shapeshifting is useful for all sorts of situations. Michael went back to his camp after no response, where Valentina and Zeke were still sleeping. He decided to tell them what he saw when the woke.

Luna looked over at the boy, probably her age or a bit older. She tugged his arm and tripped him from under his feet. "Hello." She stated clearly, still invisible. "You are Elttia, I can see." She mumbled this time. "And you were snooping on me. How rude."

Michael suddenly fell and heard a voice. He got up but saw no one. "Who are you...where are you?" Michael asked the disembodied voice.

(Sorry if I go afk for a while randomly, lots of shit has been going down in my personal life so yeah)

Ezekiel got up and looked over at Mike. "Hey who are you talking to?" He rubbed his eyes and realized he sensed someone and suddenly he was alert. He looked over at Mike and offered his hand to help him up since he apparently tripped or something.

Ezekiel raised his eyebrows. "You sure they're just voices..?.. I can sense someone really really close." He looked around. The person should've been around exactly where they stood and that just further confused Ezekiel. His shadow senses were never wrong.

"I sure as hell hope so. But I did see somebody, a shapeshifter. She noticed me and disappeared. Invisibility?" Michael asked.

"I guess... If so than she's obviously an Elttia too. Hey, whoever you are you can come out of hiding- you know that right? We aren't humans or anything." Ezekiel's ears twitched as his red eyes searched the ground around them. He wondered if he would be able to see this Elttia person if he tried hard enough. He couldn't so he just smiled welcomingly. "Please? We aren't mean or anything..."

(Hello! I'm back!)

Valentina wake up slowly and it took a couple minutes for her eyes to adjust to the sun. Eventually she was somewhat awake but her eyes were not, so she kept them close. "Mike.....Zeke..." Valentina rubbed her eyes as she called out to her two friends. Her tail wrapped around her waist and her ears against her head

Luna smiled devilishly as she looked behind them and out farther. A girl, mumbling her friends' names. She ran over to the girl with silent steps, avoiding fallen leaves and arriving in front of the girl. "Loving the colour, babe. Is it orange?" Luna stated directly in front of her. Seeing as though it was safe, and only Elttia around, Luna gave up on her invisibility and appeared in front of the girl. "You have a name? Oh, I see. You're scared? Don't be scared." Luna motioned at her tail and ears. "Your friends are over there. I was just messing with them." She vanished again and took the girl's hand, leading her to her friends by the stream. Luna let go of the girl, still keeping invisible.

Ezekiel heard a voice and sensed movement going towards Val. He ran over to her and saw some other girl there. She must've turned herself visible. "Hi?..."

"Oh thanks...I'm Valentina...Who are you?" Valentina was super confused but she could already tell that this girl was Elttia, I mean she turned invisible. Valentina looked around as her eyes were starting to adjust. One ear letting up while the other one kept down, her tail stayed wrapped around her waist. She was about to ask the other female another question but she was interrupted when Zeke showed up. "Oh, hi Zeke!" Valentina smiled brightly as she spotted Zeke, she looked back at her hand and looked over to where she thought Luna was. Valentina shot a bright smile at Luna, well where she thought she was.

Squalo stared intensely at the ceiling of her bedroom, her sharp, blue tinted grey eyes narrowed in focus. The Japanese-Italian would usually be sleeping like a log at this time of night, but unfortunately, she had a feeling that she needed to be somewhere.

Groaning, Squalo sat up and got off of her bed before shrugging on her white fur trimmed black coat over her light blue nightgown and slipped on a pair of black leather boots as she headed downstairs before leaving her home and into the nearby woods, where she felt she needed to go.

Luna came un-invisible for the last time and smiled and waved back at Valentina. The other boy was probably Zeke, but the first one she had met by the stream, she didn't know. She examined them all before whipping her head around. "Well," She clasped her hands together. "I think we should all move farther into the woods, if we do not wish to die. There are a couple people in the woods. I heard them." Luna didn't wait for anyone as she started ahead and jumped across the stream.

Valentina nodded in agreement as her ears started to flick at every sound being made in the forest. Her ears stopped and stood up high, Valentina's bright orange eyes narrowing in alert. "Someone entered the forest..." Valentina looked around the area as her tail unwrapped from her waist. Valentina's tail puffed up and started to sway slowly but dangerously. "She's right, we should get moving...."

"Been a while since I've taken a walk here, now that I think of it." Squalo muttered to herself as she walked across the woods with her hands stuffed in the pockets of her coat, her narrowed eyes lingering on the slash marks that some of the tree trunks bore before she heaved a sigh, lightly shaking her head. "Should be looking for the source of that feeling though."
