Futuristic Running for your life (OPEN + ACCEPTING)

Ezekiel spared a few words whilst trying to take down the Huntsmen. "I'm not alright! I hate them I hate them!!!" He screamed fitfully like a child as he sent his tendrils of darkness at the Huntsmen. most of them were able to dodge but a few got hit and while the darkness did little damage, it still was able to stun them as he ran forward. Ezekiel reached a few of them on one end of the alleyway and completely lost it as he tried to throw punches and kicks at them though they weren't landing well nor were they powerful. Anyone who had a level head at the time would easily see that there would be no way for the enraged boy to win unless he calmed down a little and tried to tactically use his powers.

(This will be my last post for the day.)

The Hunstman was still sleeping by the time Richard showed up, crouching to pick up the syringe that was lying next to the guy. "Great job, you really deserve that rest." Richard sarcastically replied to the unconscious man, proceding take off the needle with an handkerchief and throw it away so that there wouldn't be any more nasty suprises. As the young Huntsman sat down next to the unconscious man, his cellphone began vibrating with another warning from his fellow Huntsmen, this one revealing what power one the Elttia boy that he passed by had, at least the assumption the other Huntsmen had while trying to capture them. Richard's smile widdened as his eyes glanced over one passage of text "...it might have something to do with shadows...", the Hunstman looked at his fellow still asleep colleague "Oh boy, I can't wait for you to tell me all about this kid." he said to the guy with an enthusiastic expression on his face.

(Alright, see ya later then. )

Valentina watched as Ezekiel tried fight off the Huntsmen, she was very worried for him. She taken by surprise when she was tackled to the ground by one. "Heh, alright stay still shorty and this won't hurt." The Huntsmen smirked as pinned Valentina down and pulled out a syringe. Valentina shot a death glare at then male and hit him where the sun down shine with her, she pushed the male off of her. How dare he call her short! That's a mistake he'll regret. "You'll regret ever thinking you could take me down! Don't call me shorty!" Valentina growled as she beat the heck out of him, her bright orange eyes were glowing brightly in anger. A few other Huntsmen came after her and aimed a few hits at her but she easily blocked them. Calling Valentina short was a BIG mistake.

(Bye-Bye Waimor!!)

Ezekiel started screaming some sort of nearly incoherent speech at the Huntsmen as he tried his best to fight them, which wasn't the best he normally would be able to do. At one point there were a few of them pinning him against a wall while another was trying to stab him with a syringe. He squirmed and created a surprisingly solid shadow panther that swiftly tackled the syringe-wielding Huntsman and only went as far as knocking him out and leaving a considerable amount of scratches. The sudden realization that they were next sent the other Huntsmen letting go of the boy to fight his shadow panther instead, deeming it the only real threat for the most part. Ezekiel had a few moments to catch his breath and cool himself down enough to think properly with his eyes becoming more dim with him having more control over his emotions. He knew it probably wasn't a good idea since summoning solidly shaped creatures from the shadows took a ton of energy but he summoned 2 more: a wolf and another wolf but bigger. The creatures attacked the Huntsmen to knock out not to kill, but they couldn't help but leave the growing number of unconscious people a few good scars to be feeling in the morning.

Valentina was in the middle of kicking the carp out of some Huntsmen who dared call her 'A Tiny Ant', which just added fuel to the fire. Valentina kicked him one last time before she noticed two shadow wolves. "Whoa...Cool Zeke!" She immediately knew that it was Ezekiel. She was about to say more when she was tackled harshly to the ground with a loud yell of pain, her head hit the ground with a hard impact and her cheek slid across the ground causing two wounds on it. "Get off of me you idiots! I said get off!" Valentina tried her hardest to break free from their grasp but failed since three were holding her down. One Huntsmen pulled out a syringe and moved it to Valentina's neck. Valentina let out a scream of fear as it came closer. "Ezekiel! Help!!"

Ezekiel's head snapped in the direction of Val's cry for help and he sprinted with almost unbelievable speed and jumped onto the Huntsman who was about to make her sleep. He moved from punching and kicking to choking since it seemed to be the only way at that point. The Huntsman was the last one now since the shadow wolves and panther had taken down the rest. He struggled and was flailing around, trying to reach for Ezekiel with the syringe still in his hand but Ezekiel didn't notice anything but the flailing. Finally, the Huntsman found the boy's arm and hurriedly injected the whole thing into it. Ezekiel cried out in surprise and tried to toss the syringe of of his arm but he felt... droopy. The exhaustion already building up from overusing his powers added onto the sedative made him fall off of the Huntsman and he hit the ground hard though he was asleep before he touched the ground, his body completely limp apart from his chest moving up and down gently as he breathed.

Valentina immediately jumped up when she saw Ezekiel get hit with the syringe. Valentina made her way to Ezekiel quickly, she kicked the Huntsmen away from Ezekiel when he tried to make his way over. Valentina grabbed the boy with the last of her strength. "It's alright Zeke, I got you! We'll get out of here!" Valentina picked him and quickly dodge any Huntsmen that were in her way. She ran as fast as she could to the forest. After a long while she made to the forest and sat in the deepest part of the forest. She played Ezekiel's head on her lap and scanned him with worried orange eyes.

Ezekiel's eyelids fluttered open slowly until he remembered what all happened and he sat up quickly, suddenly wide awake. He looked around but all he saw were trees and Val. "Wait what? Are- Are we in that forest just outside of town? But... what?" He rubbed his temple as he tried to piece everything together. Val must've defeated the last Huntsman and gotten them both to safety. Ezekiel took a few deep breaths and looked up at his friend. "I'm not entirely sure what happened after... the syringe, but thanks."

Valentina smiled softly when Ezekiel had awaken from his slumber. She was so glad to see he was alright. "It's no problem, besides we're friends and I have your back no matter what." Valentina shot Ezekiel a soft, closed eyes smile. To Valentina Ezekiel was a new friend, she has his back no matter what. "Oh and thank you for saving me...Even though you get hurt because of it." She felt slightly bad for him getting hurt and she felt like it was her fault that he got hurt. But no she promises to be stronger to protect him and herself.

"Well just remember I've got your back too. Besides, I told you earlier I've gone through worse. A little trouble and minor pain here and there are nothing to me so long as I'm still alive and so are you." He smiled back at her with a surprisingly genuine and energetic grin. He didn't mention the reason he'd felt worse pain before or the fact that she was actually his very first friend Ezekiel had ever had. So he just kept grinning before checking their surroundings through the shadows. On the bright side he felt more lively now, more sore as well, but definitely more lively.

(Sorry had to shower lol)

(No problem!)

Valentina's smile widen and became even more brighter, she made her first friend! Valentina never really had any friends when she grew up, she only had her sister and mother, father too...until her died. But Valentina was super happy and giddy to have made friends with Ezekiel. "Great! Now we're buddies and we got each other's backs!" Valentina let out a small giggle as she took off her head. Her ears twitched slightly as they raised up from the position on her head, her tail popped out from underneath the cloak and swayed around in a happy manner. Valentina was really happy!

Ezekiel followed her lead and put his hood down, revealing his pitch black cat ears with light pink insides. They twitched here and there as he grinned. "Yup yup! I'm just curious... what were you doing in that alleyway earlier? I mean like before we met. Did you have to run away from home too?" He asked curiously. He wanted to know how much like himself she was and if there were extra people after her too. Ezekiel was actually a notorious Elttia- one that was on the list of well known and often seen Elttias who had survived so far.

Valentina lowered her head and shook it.I "Guess you could say that....My sister and mother were murdered infront of me...I was almost killed but I got away before they could anything." Valentina noticed that tears were appearing in her eyes and started to flow down her cheeks, she tried to wipe them away but more appeared. Valentina felt like she could share what happened to Ezekiel, besides she needed to get that off her chest for awhile now. Valentina's ears lowered and rested against her head in a sad manner, her tail stopped moving and fell limo against the ground. Tears flowed down her cheeks as she stared to cry silently, she tried to stop but she failed.

Ezekiel felt a pang of guilt, almost wishing he hadn't asked. He reached forward and hugged her, his own ears drooping a little as he gently stroked her hair. Her tears were slowly wetting his hoodie and sinking through his clothes to his shoulder but he didn't overly mind. Honestly he felt seriously awkward but he just really wanted to help. He couldn't really relate too well since he had never had any real kindness or love shown to him before, especially not family, but he was sure it would be harder to have that and then get it taken away rather than never having it to begin with. "Just uh let it all out okay? It's good to have a good cry here and there, not healthy to keep it bottled up and stuff..." Ezekiel wasn't sure if what he said or even the hug was helping but he hoped it was.

The blonde haired female hugged Ezekiel back tightly as she cried into his shoulder. Valentina missed her sister and mother dearly but she knew they were in a better place. The hug that Ezekiel is giving was Valentina calm down a lot. Valentina missed being hugged, she always loved the feeling of the warmth and she always felt safe when she was hugged by her friends and family. Valentina hiccuped slightly as she buried her face into that back haired male's shoulder. "I'm you had to see me like this...T-thank you though..." Valentina sighed as one more year slid down her cheeks before they stopped completely.

"Don't even worry about it. Like I said, it's good to cry sometimes." Ezekiel's voice was a little shaky since it was his first time ever hugging in actuality. Back at home he read when he was supposed to be sleeping since he never had freetime apart from then and the books always seemed to make it more magical than it sounded. But he was finding they weren't wrong- in fact, he loved hugging so much now that he actually didn't really want to let go of the warmth and kindness put into it. Still, he slowly pulled away from the embrace when he felt like Val had calmed down significantly.

Michael didn't know what to do. He needed to be around people like him. Wandering the streets aimlessly is going to attract attention. He walked for a few minutes before turning into a dark alleyway to rest for a bit.

Valentina smiled softly as she rubbed her eyes and looked back Ezekiel. "If you don mind me asking, why did you ran away from home? You don't have to answer if you don't want to.." Valentina didn't want to push the male into telling her his past but if he wanted to Valentina would listen. Valentina held a soft and caring smile on her cheeks, her bright orange orbs held trust and kindness. Valentina cared for her friend deeply and whenever he wanted to talk she was there for him. "But just know I'll always be here for you and you can always talk to me whenever you want

When Michael felt rested enough he continued walking. He wondered where he would be safe from huntsman. He decided the forest would be his best choice. It was secluded. At least that's what he thought.

"Yeah okay. My only family was my parents. They weren't good people to say the least but I wasn't strong enough to fight back and I didn't think I could live on my own, but it was a ticking timebomb. They were normal humans and I wasn't. They held that over my head, constantly threatening to alert the Lastmen about my existence- so I had to do what they wanted until I was strong enough and thought about it hard enough. Live wasn't worth living if it was with them. So I left and they gave as much information on me as they could to everyone and now I'm one of the most known Elttia, but at least I'm free." Ezekiel didn't go into any more detail than that since he figured it wouldn't help anyone or anything if he told her about all the kinds of abuse he'd endured. He didn't want to make her cry again and besides, saying at least as much as he did lifted a huge load off of his shoulders.

(Sorry for late post, shit going on in my personal life)

Michael saw a pair of strangers, he froze. He didn't know if he was in their field of view. He hoped that they wouldn't be hostile towards him if he was found.
