Roommates! [Inactive]

As Kyle purchased his tux and proceeded to follow him out of the store when she noticed the piece of paper fall out of the envelope. She read it over and her eyebrows drew together momentarily. Eri decided she would ask him about that later, and caught up with him on the sidewalk. "So, you taking a date to your father's wedding? Hopefully she's wearing something blue," she said lightly.

Kyle shrugged in indifference, ''Nope, as you noticed. I don't have many friends. Actually none so no one to invite.'' he said looking boredly at the mass of people waiting to crossover.

Beatrice knocked on the door to Miki's room. Something was obviously wrong. "Miki. Are you okay?" She asked through the door, quietly.

"Yeah, you can come in if you want." Miki said, looking at the door. She turned back to her laptop, where her quick writing sesh had turned into a full on self novel, changing the names of course.

She turned the knob, entering slowly. Her tail twitched uneasily. "What's the matter? Did the human do something to you?"

"Not directly that he would have known." Miki muttered, staring at her laptop. She was still figuring out all the minor details but she had pretty much pinpointed the source of her discomfort.

What was that supposed to mean? It honestly sounded like the girl was talking more to herself than to Beatrice at all. "Can I help?" She asked, anyways.

"Not really. It's something between me and him." Miki said. She brushed her hair out of the way and continued typing.

"Okay." Seeing that the other girl didn't seem to want her help, she stepped away. Maybe the human could tell her what was going on, instead. She went to the lounge to look for him, but didn't even find Eri. Where were they?

"If your wondering, they went out to eat." Miki yelled down the hall. She was busy writing a novel about her life to care much anymore.

Eri stood for a moment and then held the piece of paper up for Kyle to see. "Found this," she began, a blank expression on her face. She could tell before his reaction that his relationship with his father must be tense.

He looked at Eri smiling but when he recognized the piece of paper his whole body tensed up and frowned in anger, not towards Eri but remembering what was written. He took the piece of paper and shred it to pieces calmly, he threw the papers in a garbage can and just looked straight forward lost in his own thought. ''Did you read it?'' he asked bothered by the fact that she might have figured something No one was suppose too.

"I feel like you would be angrier if I lied to you, so yeah, I did read it," Eri admitted, scratching the back of her neck. "You don't have to talk about it, though," she added.

Kyle shrugged, ''....'' he stayed silent for a few minute. What was he suppose to say, he never talked about it and never trusted anyone when it came to his personal life. He stared at the floor, '' Don't talk about it to anyone.'' in an almost whisper. He clutched at his shopping bag while frowning, he didn't want to remember all this stuff. He hated him and that's all, what he did was disgusting. He calmed himself down for a bit, he had a fun day up until now, he didn't want to ruin it. ''So anything you want?'' he asked since they were already here.

Eri was relieved that Kyle wasn't angry with her for reading the piece of paper. So she decided to take a happier route and be a little more encouraging. "Well, if it would help, I could come with you to the wedding, make it seem slightly less torturous."

''It would be if you come.'' he said chuckling. It would also help him look more of a man to his father, so basically killing to birds with one stone. '' Wanna go get a dress now that we are here?''

Eri stuck her tongue out at him at first, but smiled. "I guess so. You get to pick this time, but do try to avoid making me look ridiculous. I'm not one to buy dresses on a regular basis," she remarked, walking over to the girls section of the store to search for a dress.

Kyle liked the Idea, he ran through all the ranks looking for some sexy looking dress. He found many, mostly blue ones. He grinned and gave them to Eri, '' Here you go!'' Might as well enjoy the sight. he thought.

Eri took the dresses Kyle had picked out and tried on a short and fitting dress. She fixed her hair to look somewhat presentable with the much fancier dress, and tried to walk out as casually as possible. Eri hadn't been in something this fitting in a while, and she felt rather exposed and unsure of how exactly this dress made her look. Eri tossed Kyle an unsure glance. "Judgement day- what do you think?" she asked lightly, but she was a tad nervous. Did she look bad?

The dress was fitting her so well and showing her practically perfect curves. Kyle was mentally drooling at that view, thank god she was paying more attention to the mirror then him. Eri then tossed Kyle an unsure glance. "Judgement day- what do you think?" she said. He stared at her with wide eyes loving how she looked, sexy yet classy. It took him a few seconds to understand the question, but the snapped out of it ''oh oh...you look fantastic,'' he said .

Eri blushed, but smiled. "Thanks. Now all I gotta do is learn how to dance and then I might be a presentable wedding guest," she said with a laugh, taking off the silver heels she had tried on along with the dress.

''Well, Young i received many courses. So I might as well teach you? '' he said winking at her. He took the heels while she went back inside to change.

"I might have to take you up on that offer," Eri replied, taking off the dress and changing back into her regular outfit. She walked out of the room and began searching for a price tag on the dress.

Kyle giggled and took the dress from her hand. ''Don't worry, I'll pay for it. Afterall, you are coming for me.'' he said.

Eri smiled gratefully and hugged his arm slightly. "Thank you," she said happily. She turned and waited for him at the door as he checked out.
