Yeah, the next time Deunan rolls a 1, she'll have accidentally hit the ejection seat and punched herself out of her Command VHT and into a flying pilotless Bioroid sled that snags her and sends her careening into Gabi's Ajax where the impact makes Gabi hit the launch button on the nuke early and... oh wait...

...VHTs don't have ejection seats! Whew! Dodged a bullet there! =)

But this is Psychie's game so... you never know what'll happen!! 8D

See, Marlon's too busy checking out Deunan on his video screen while she's distracted, fighting and blocking and sweating and there's good ol' Marlon saying, "I'll protect you, sweetheart!" while he's checkin' out his sweetheart!

Next thing you know, CLICK! ZAP! His EU-11 goes off firing into the vastness of space... Just an honest misfire! Really! 8D
 
A serious power surge causes the Eu-11 to shut down! It will be able to be used in a moment, but for now, the weapon is inactive.

See? Now he broke the damned thing! =)

"We have developed a detachable booster pack for the Spartas Hover Tanks. It will provide your tanks a sustained flight speed of 220 miles per hour, with short term boosts of up to Mach 2.1 that can allow dogfighting. The fuel cell will last you for approximately eight hours of combat flight, with a lifespan of about three times that in non-combat maneuvering. Obviously, these booster packs do not grant you the ability to reenter the atmosphere. That will still require you to get a ride from a shuttle."

One nice bonus about having ADHD is I tend to remember things like this in detail. =)
 
At this point, I don't think it matters any more. The Bioroids seem to be out of actions, and Gabi is about to blow this sucker up. Even if the enemy had actions, I have plenty of armor left on my shields to parry the minor amount of damage that they can do.
 
Unless you guys are going to blow away those blues, how about we just get to the nitty gritty and see if we can send this mothership to hell?
 
Psychie Psychie The only thing I'm confused on is the bomb placement. How practical is it for Gabi to drop into Battloid and throw the thing in as opposed to sending it in like a missile? If she throws it in, I'm afraid we won't have enough time to get to minimum safe distance when it goes up, hence Gabi's use of speed. Not knowing distances (especially from her engineering point of view), I don't know what gives us the most bang for our buck. The last thing I want to do is annihilate the entire team because Gabi set the detonation time too short.
 
Ok, lets do this. The port or opening that you need to hit is sixteen feet across, and you don't know how deep it goes. For best effect, you should get the bomb down into the opening as deep as you can get it. That is the reason for the various levels of penalties depending on the speed and distance you are at when you make the drop.

Almost! Could the depth be determined (at least in part) by the Ajax's special ground radar system? If Gabi has an idea of depth, then she can set a reasonable time on the bomb (and throw the thing in there so there are no penalties).

EDIT: Sorry if I'm overthinking this. Just don't want everyone having to roll up new characters over something I did. =)
