Even if they were ripped, they would probably burn a fuck ton of calories running that fast, especially with four legs. Cheetahs, which can run at like 40 MPH, can only maintain short sprints.

Also. I'm actually fine with these creatures going fast, being really strong, etc. But they should have the trade off of this: Shitty tech (in terms to everytone else) You can have a OMEGA level size military with good tech and overwhelming soldiers without some sort of trade off. I don't think they should be firing .50cal rifles just due to the resource cost to them. They should be using crudely made rifles and equipment in my opinion.

My guys are never really going to have shields or that many brilliant maneuvers, and the Queens, are, to a degree, the weakest link.

I can make an assumption. Which I am doing for purely pratical and logical reasons. Mass producing that type of ammunation would be stupid for someone like that race. Why invest so much money into a single soldier who you will be sending into hordes of enemy, using the mass of your army to over power them. You'll produce single shot rifles which will be discarded to them charge or use as a (horrible) spear.


Which brings me too.

Yeah, that's why it's so long, with the little jagged bits. Helps stabilize the rifle, which, along with the strength, would at best gouge the guy behind him. We also have no money. Or real cost for most things. Only the 'Lost' actually have that sort of thing.

You stabilize a firearm by either reducing the caliber, adding recoil absorbers into the stock of the gun, or mount it onto a solid object.

It mostly serves the purpose to make the weapon move in a way that doesn't harm the user, instead of completely controlling the inevitable recoil; it just sorta makes it moot.
