Hey Sherwood? Would you mind if I replaced Gradicus's Calligraphy (Professional) skill with Photography (Professional)? He gets the choice of one or the other from his Atlantean clan and... for the life of me, I can't see him using Calligraphy. Photography came in useful just now with the dragon, though. Plus, he "enjoyed" taking the shots if you get my meaning. Is that all right?

Indeed! My little one is chomping at the bit to go out and get her treats, and it's only 4:50 here. I keep telling her that it has to be at least somewhat dark to go out, and she keeps on asking if it's time to go yet.

happy Halloween i hope everybody is having a great night.

Sherwood Sherwood i apologize for asking about xp, i was just asking because i thought it made since for an operator to get xp for doing something that is his occupation.

I had a great night with my five year old. She dressed up as Belle from Beauty and the Beast, and she looked absolutely adorable. This girl came home with one hell of a haul of goodies. It will take weeks to eat it all.

As for the question of xp, I don't mind at all having you ask about the points you're getting. Depending on what you guys do in the upcoming part of the story, you should all hit level two.

Only now does it occur to me that my character has absolutely no way of knowing if it's day or night out. When sneaking is incredibly effective or incredibly obvious.

Can't even look at a watch to know either.

Hmmm.

The Atlantian Warrior Women have a lot of great bonuses, but at the cost of the ability to read and see. Overall, they do balance out fairly well.

I played a blind character in Sherwood's Exalted game. Even with her magic, it was a challenge to play her, even if she is a lot of fun.

Don't get me wrong, this isn't a complaint. I'm delighted at grappling with some complexity I hadn't anticipated. All part of the fun. :)

I suspect not. In part because an audible clock sounds like a specialty item and the post-apocalyptic world of Rifts isn't rife with specialty items that aren't weapons, armor or vehicles. But also in part because an audible clock risks others hearing it too. No one wants a "The time is 5am" to suddenly warn a sentry you're trying to sneak past. ;)

Good points about temperature and feeling sunlight on the skin. Living in the Pacific Northwest on the coast as I do, I forget that sunlight is actually pretty common in most of the country (or the world).

Just how hard is it snowing? Kimberly's senses are halved if it's significant snow, dust, rain, sand, ley line storms, etc.

Not hard at all right now. Your senses are not adversely affected.

Heya folks! Sorry to split the party up, but there's just no way I can play an Atlantean Undead Slayer and have him sail by as if the scene onshore were not happening. =)

No worries. I love that everyone is playing their characters so well. You are making me a happy Sherwood!

Heya, Dano Dano - I fucked up. Seemingly completely missed that Trent was still next to Kimberly... thought he'd moved somewhere in-between. Sorry for that, I certainly did not mean to ignore you! Can't do much about that right now, but I'll do my best to make sure that things like that don't happen again in the future. Usually not the way I roll - sorry again.

Silanon Silanon its okay I thought it was in line with the awkwardness of your character to be so focused on one thing that others were a bit oblivious :) I didn't take it as a slight at all
