Yeah, looking at some of the other Tattooed Warrior OCCs, a quick glance doesn't show any others with that going for them.

Terra's family is going to flip when they see her! =)

Well, I still haven't done my level-up from ages ago, mostly because I'm not sure where I want to be headed with him. Like, his main goal has been accomplished, right now he's mostly floating from task to task. I want to change that, give him something personal to strive for again.

Maybe go on quests that would aid Cyber-Knights? Find Sir Cooley's lost journal filled with his to-do list starting with, "...finish doing my laundry," but ending with, "...finally deliver that 10,000 credits I owe to Mr. Haggerty for his much-needed loan to my very first temple. We could have never fed, clothed, and protected those children without him." Or some such?

Or somehow we find out that Sir Cooley's persona has somehow wound up in a Rune Shield, flying skateboard, or banner-that-waves-in-the-wind-even-when-there's-no-wind somewhere (something fit for a Crazy)? Now we have to retrieve it before his vicious ex-wife does? And boy, you though Salnesh was a doozy! Wait 'til you meet her!!

That'd fit him character-wise, but it's not really what I'm looking for, I think. Think I want him to do more than clean up after Sir Cooley, so to speak. See, eventually, he's going bonkers. When that happens, I want him to leave more behind than just a trail of destruction. Or I want him to have a goal that let's him say 'alright, that's good enough, let me see if someone can remove that implant so that I can live a few years in peace' . Or, as an alternative, find a way how he can go on forever. You know, something like that. An end goal, so to speak, because he's on a timer.

Is there a way to ascend to become a spirit, or something like that? You know, leave the body and implant behind eventually and still help out people? Seems like we might be in a good place to make a first step towards that.

This is Rifts. As far as I'm concerning, just about anything is possible. =)

Perhaps - but there's also the question whether that's something that Sherwood would want to deal with, and so on. And whether the rules that make it possible are such that I'd actually be interested to follow that path.

Yeah! There's only one way to find out - ask! =)

(Maybe that's why I'm always asking questions? Nothing changes unless I take action. For me at least. =)

Yeah, I'm strongly thinking about having Snowfall take on that Air Powers Tattoo for its various functionalities.

Sure, it's 55 P.P.E. per casting (not cheap, but double-duration with Energized for 2 minutes/level), but Wind Rush came in useful against the Skelebots. The Float on Air spell is useful for helping folks who can't fly. The Lightning Strike isn't as potent as his Rod of Weather Controls, but hey, it's nice to have (plus it fires from the sky and that might make a difference during some cover-related showdowns?). We haven't run into any Air Elementals that I'm aware of, but this means he'd able to see and converse with them. Plus, Calm Storms because... why not? =)

So, I just checked the phobias in the rulebook since I'm picking one up with the 8th level that I'm finally going to take advantage of... one of the ones that caught my eye is the fear to be alone - which would work quite well with his recent experiences to work in a team. Do you folks think that'd be a reasonable choice, or do you think it'd be too problematic?

I think it's fine. When he realizes that his Rune swords are also sentient things, even if he's without one of his fellow teammates, he won't be alone. =)

I've actually thought about purchasing a parrot for the long, lonely nights on watch... or several parrots, given his line of work.

Ha ha ha! I bet they'd be great in helping wake us up if something walked up on us during the watch.

Cries of "Salnesh! Salnesh!" would definitely get Snowfall out of bed!

Ok, gang! We are about to make a time jump to give Terra time to get her new tattoos on. What I would like from everyone is a quick list of things you would like to do during the six months of down time you are about to have. Psychie Psychie Most of that time for you is going to be taken up with the process of getting your new tattoos added on, but if there is something you wish to do or try and get, here is your chance.

Silanon Silanon Purr Purr

That sounds like a plan. I will come up with a few things to look for and do in the downtime. I do have a question, though. Does the runesword that Snowfall is going to give to Terra have a name? Or should I come up with one?

The name of the sword is Zelator. As I mentioned before, the weapon is highly intelligent, and is only willing to be wielded by a person of good alignment - not a problem for Terra.

Six months? Holy wowzercows! Uhhh... I'm going to need to think on that one.

You guys will be getting a sizable cash award from Lord Brazamal, probably delivered to Snowfall as he is the one that will have the easiest time getting back to Dweomer to check in.

I had a thought: Lets buy our own bar! We have plenty of money to do so, hiring up a staff and manager to run the place, along with lots of inventory. We could then use it as the place to hang our hats between adventures!
