Realistic or Modern Remnants of Man [Zombie Apocalypse Rp]

RICHIE NICOLETTI

Richie had made his way back to the garage unscathed. He considered for a moment that maybe higher powers granted him a small favour, but then he realised the infected were all further away, stumbling around curiously to the rhythmic boom of the continuous looped tape from the car.  He strolled up to the door of the garage, opened it gently, and stepped inside. A slew of people stared at him for a moment and then continued on with their roles.

Boyd Killman

Boyd looked at the glass and her shoulder. Bruising on the shoulder was apparent. The glass itself wasn't too deep. Nodding Boyd began to work. He wasn't a nurse but his previous basic training covered basic first aid. That included CPR,tourniquet application, open wounds and broken bones.

Getting his glasses out from his inside jacket pocket Boyd began to remove pieces of glass. As he removed the pieces of glass he opened the new medkit given by aria and used tweezers located inside.

"Im apply some alcohol now, it'll sting a pinch. " Boyd smiled tilting his head back to look through his glasses.

Opening a bottle of hydrogen peroxide he poured a generous amount on her arm, dripping to the floor. He followed up by covering it up with gauss then giving it a little slap.

"That's all done, hear comes the good part. " Boyd chuckled as he instructed Madison to get up.

Placing his left hand in the shoulder he put a small bit of pressure. With his right hand he extended her arm to the side holding on the her wrist.

"On the count of 3 alright....1....." Boyd grunted slightly

At the count of one Boyd pushed the shoulder blade in while puling the arm back. The movement placing the arm back into the shoulder socket. After the obvious pop he kissed his hand then slapped her shoulder.

"Good as new, keep it relaxed for a bit OK Maddie?" Asked Boyd as he slid his rolling chair to the other female.

Examining her he could see slight signs of exhaustion. The answer was obvious, food water and rest. Sliding his chair to the bag Madison pointed to he removed a water bottle and what appeared to be a granola bar. Rolling his way back he opened both items and placed them on her hands.

"Eat these first sweetheart then you can nap." Boyd said in a soft tone as if speaking to a child.

Turning around to light another cigarette Boyd noticed the added weaponry. He nodded to himself as he thought on what else was needed.

"So looks like were doing grand." Boyd laughed as he puffed out some smoke.

Maddison Clarke

Maddison watched Boyd carefully as he examined her arm. Her brain told her he wouldn't try anything to further injure her. But instincts fought in the other direction. When she worked the streets, she was injured multiple times. Turns out people don't really like it when their valuable stuff is stolen. She had been shot, stabbed, beaten, and more. Maddison had broken more bones than she cared to count, and had scars all over her body to prove it. As a thief, there is no possibility of going to the hospital. Identification cannot be risked, and hospitals ask for that kind of thing. Instead, she stole medical supplies and drugs from clinics, and performed all of the medical care she needed herself. Boyd seemed to know what he was doing, and Maddison briefly wondered where he learned the skills. She winced ever so slightly as he pulled the glass shards from her elbow, causing some wounds to open and thus blood welled up around them. But it was quickly washed away by the hydrogen peroxide. A dull throb still sounded throughout her arm any time it moved. She froze when Boyd grabbed her arm, resisting the urge to fight. Her fight of flight instincts weren't exactly easy to shut off now that she has companions. He pulled her arm back, causing her to gasp at the pain of it all. But with a snap, the pain disappeared, and her arm was no longer throbbing. "Thank you Boyd," she stated, shooting him an appreciative glance.

Boyd Killman

Boyd took another drag from his cigarette. He smiled and nodded at Madison as he put his glasses away.

"I know its not the best work but its something. " Boyd smiled again

Boyd's old age was getting him. He took another drag as he rubbed his knees. His body ached, an entire day of activity was wearing him down a bit. His stomach grumbled as hunger crept up. Boud grabbed his back pack and removed a bag of jerky and a bottle water.

Raising the bottle water and a piece of jerky he tilted it and smiled at Madison.

"Gotta stay full and hydrated, deadlier than any bullet or bite I assure you. " Boyd chomped down on some jerky.

Looking around and seeing as everyone was about their business he swallowed his jerky with a hearty dose of water.

"So everyone got what they need? More importantly are we missing folk?" Boyd asked as he noticed a few missing bodies.

At this point, Donnee spoke up to Boyd, holding his newly aquire weapon out in front of him, and pointing at the others he had secured, "well I got what I went for, and I don't think anyone's missing....but hey, I could be wrong" Donnee spoke, staring at Boyd from his position leaning against the wall.

- James DiFronzo -

Few weeks ago, James and his men had arrived at Sioux Falls to deal with a powerful Gangster Disciple set that is based in Sioux Falls. His phone was ringing and the caller was his father Jake DiFronzo. James accepted the call. "Son!" his father replied. "You need to get out of there now! Meet me at Canada immediately! Everything is went to shi-.." and his father's response had suddenly ended.

"What the fuck?" James mumbled to himself. Suddenly, a cannibal-like person that is covered with blood showed up on the driver's window. "WHAT THE FUCK!" James shouted. All of the men with James are confused. "Drive drive drive!" James ordered the driver and the driver quickly speed up. The convoy that was following James' car got overrun by zombies. "What the fuck is going on?! Are our men still following us?!" James look at his men. The men shrugs and suddenly the car crashed on a tree.

Few weeks later, James is the only one who survived at the group and all of his men were killed and turn into zombies. James haven't interacted an uninfected ever since, he never hears from his father, his grandfather, and the Chicago Mob again. James reloaded his Colt 45 and holds it gripply. His first mission is head to Sanford USD Medical Center. James wants medical supplies like painkillers and first aid kits just in case something happens to him in the future events.

Harrison D. Cooper

The airfield was deadly quiet (no pun intended) and there were zombie bodies everywhere either shot in the head or missing one completely, Walking cautiously up to an old storage house, Harrison gently swung the doors open and then proceeded to enter the building. Not much was useful in the shed at first glance. some pipes here, dead mouse there, even an old crate. It was rusted shut, spotting a shovel nearby, Harrison jabbed the hinges of the box and they fell to pieces on contact with the shovel. Inside the box was at least 20 high caliber rounds, They were bigger than a .50cal cartridge, in fact, one of the rounds were as big as the palm of his hand, and must have weighed at least  1/2 pound each. The tip of the rounds were marked in a blue paint and had a black ring around the cartridge. Ammunition class told him that these markings identified the round as a Tungsten core AP round. "What the hell are these doing here?" Harrison thought. Then, he saw why the rounds were here.  Because next to the ammo box, leaning up against the wall was a rifle, But not just any kind of rifle. The rectangular muzzle brake and the 3 foot long barrel gave him the answer right away. This, was a PTRD - 1 Anti -Tank rifle, In pristine condition. Detatching the high powered scope off of his SCAR -H and slinging the assault rifle over his shoulder, Harrison picked up the surprisingly lightweight PTRD -1 Rifle, stored the ammo in his ammo pouch, loaded  the 80 year old round into the rifle, chambered the round, attached the high powered scope, and left the airfield to find that pesky group and give them what for from a long ways away...

To think that Aria should be comfortable with watching as Boyd fixed up Madison's wounds and popped her shoulders back in. "Here, take this and wrap it around her neck and arm...sorta like a cast to hold her arm in place." She tells Boyd but then she saw that Boyd was busy so she got up and went over to Madison and she took her scarf off and brought it around Madison's neck and then towards the front where she gently took the arm and looped the scarf around it and brought it in a knot so that her arm was supported. "Leave it like this for a week or two and you should be fine," She tells Madison with a slight smile.

Harrison D. Cooper

Meanwhile on top of a mountain that over looks the city and the garage in particular...

The wind was freezing cold but the fog that covered his position had provided him a 'smoke screen' of sorts. Peering through the scope, Cooper panned the sight around the city when a light inside a building caught his attention. Swinging the Anti Tank rifle barrel towards the window, Harrison lined up the shot, Said "goodbye Mr. Bond" and fired. The Anti Tank rifle roared like an RPG as the shot echoed around the valley and city, A few seconds later Harrison saw a shatter of glass when a window of the garage burst as the Tungsten core AP round broke through and dug deeply into the cider block wall with a loud "CRUSH!!!" Chambering the next round, Harrison zeroed in, this time on a vehicle that was parked outside of the garage. Then, he fired again...

Boyd Killman

Boyd heard the crack on the side of the building followed by the car being hit. Looks like it finally happened, raiders. Quickly scanning the room Boyd could see everyone was OK. The loud clash was recognizable however. This was the work of a .50 no 20mm maybe? Boyds years of expieence allowed him to more or less gauge the cartridge.

"Everyone down!" Yelled Boyd

Boyd ducked making the gesture for everyone else to follow. With a pause in between shots, Boyd concentrated trying to remember the shots. There was a pause, bullet impact then the bang. Whoever this was , is a distance away. The math escaped Boyd but he was certain.

"OK everyone listen, whoever this is is shooting from pretty far. Still be careful but as long as you move quick ,stay down and we move away from the shooter we will be OK. " Boyd tried reasurring everyone.

His mental gymnastics told him the round was coming from the north. Based solely on the fact that both the vehicle and that specific side of the garage are only viewable from the north. Adding the fact its a larger distance away it seemed only the mountain top or the surrounding mountain range could be shooters location.

"I need everybody to sound off, anyone hurt?" Boyd yelled again trying to asses the groups integrity.

Donnee was having what could be considered a grand time, His weapons were his, everyone was ok...then the explosions began. As the first one hit, Boyd was already ducking and telling everyone to get down, but Donnee was beyond irratated, "this shit is starting to get on my nerves, and my day was on a roll" he said aloud, checking the round in his AK and keeping it loaded. Donnee now shouted so that everyone could hear him "ok guys, we need to strike back before this place caves in, now come over here, reload and restock!" He said, again pointing towards his stash, "also there are 4 AK's left and a SCAR, first come first serve" he finished, sticking towards the walls and thinking of a plan...then he remembered the hatch above them, leading towards the roof, "if I could get up there" he thought, slowly heading that way.

- James DiFronzo -

James arrived at the hospital named Sanford USD Medical Center. He was very cautious to his surroundings when he arrived. The 22nd Street was so quiet and there are few dead bodies loitering around the street; mainly the zombies who got killed either recently or earlier. James grips his Colt 45 as he entered the hospital. When he entered the hospital; the atmosphere is horrifying to be exact and James feel uncomfortable when he entered the hospital. The first he saw in the hospital was a reception facing the entrance of the hospital. The reception was littered with papers. James cautiously approached the reception and all he could see is a dead female receptionist whom her face and her body was eaten by the zombies. The scene was disgusting and this is really worse than slitting someone's throat. He decided to go upstairs. When he went to upstairs, it was a hallway. A really quiet hallway and the atmosphere is too terrifying than the one in the reception. All he could see is papers and dead patients loitering around the hallway. There were so many tinted bloods written in the walls like "Welcome to New Era", "Death is Coming for Us", etc. James decided to read the writings and suddenly a zombie which is a nurse attacked him on behind. James and a undead nurse fall behind. The undead nurse was on top of him and the gun was accidentally dropped when they both fell. James lifts himself up by lifting the undead nurse and throws it on the floor. James would stomp the zombie's head several times and the zombie's blood was splattered across the hallway. His white polo which is torned out was spill with blood.

"Agh..fucking hell" James mumbled to himself, he grabs the gun and continue exploring the hospital. The end of the hallway were hospital rooms but James decided to not check out the rooms since it's risky and useless. He kept searching until he saw an armory. The armory was padlocked and James decided to break it out by shooting it. James aims the padlock by saying, "Here goes nothing." and then he shoots the padlock and it fell down. The armory door was open and suddenly three undead doctors were awaked by the shoot. James aims them at their heads and pulls the trigger, the three undead doctors were killed. As he entered the armory, there were plenty of medical supplies such as painkillers, first aid kits, etc. He quickly grabs it one by one until a loud sound of a bullet echoed across the city. "What the fuck?" He mumbled to himself and suddenly he heard the roars of a zombie horde coming from the Grange Avenue. He immediately run to the exit of the hospital. As he is at outside, he saw the horde coming from his way coming from the north. Although James wanted to find the shooter, he decided to head northwest to avoid the horde which directly head to W.H. Lyon Fairgrounds which is the largest fair of Sioux Falls.

(OOC The rifle is loud, one shot can be fired only per one minute, and the shot would have attracted so many zombies to my character's location okay!?)

Harrison D. Cooper

Letting off the third shot, The round fell short and dug it's self a shallow gash in the asphalt, Pulling back the bolt action lever, he once again extracted the red hot cartridge, and loading in a fresh one into the chamber. Locking the bolt action mechanism Harrison was about to let off another round when a zombie tackled him from behind, it took a large bite out of his shoulder and his eyes started to close, fighting back the virus he knocked the zombie to the ground and then let off one final shot. Then his right arm flew off from the rifle's recoil and Harrison died instantly...
