is she from anywhere close to scotland or anywhere close to those areas? there could be a rumor across the seven seas or something that sirens aren't to be trusted in the selkie community?
the sirens and selkies could have enemy relations of a sort ?
and with ronan bein' protective of his k i n , it'll be him like w a t c h i n g out for folks like her
i think it'll also be something interesting since in ireland, selkies and mermaids are confused with each other as well and sirens would hate being confused with that part of the grouping as well?

I was gonna have Sybil born in the baltic sea, just because it's known to be absolutely freezing in there, so I'd imagine at some point during her life she wandered over towards that area for her fair share of the m e n
ronan could of possibly run into sybil, she's pretty unforgettable cause of her tail pattern and hair !

ummm i need opinions on ly’s backstory
so i was thinking she could be a siren who got sent to be raised by humans bc her mother was pissed that humans made them go into hiding, so she needed ly to cause hell on earth for men with her gift...
but she rlly doesn’t wanna kill
she just wants to be able to use her voice and not hurt ppl (but seducing men is fine ofc)
also silence by marshmello and khalid would b a gr888 themesong for this
