Fantasy Project Anima

hearing him come up to her but staying at a distance she started to walk over to him with her swords still held out to her side. "yes they were!" she smiled at him as she flipped the blades a bit in her hands. "look how sharp they are! " she said happily, then in one swift motion the bush beside him was cut perfectly in three.

She turned from the bush and looked at him with a mischievous glint in her eye as she took a step to him. She moved her blades to him then acting like she was going to cut him, then put them in there sheath. "are you ready for tonight?" she asked going back to her normal look.

Gills shivered when she cut the bushes beside him. Damn sharp. When he glance at the shrouds, those were cut so cleanly he could've sworn that he could take the cut part and put them back where they were. Norman did a good job with the swords. Maybe...too good...He flinched a bit when she pretended to cut him. "Whoa, careful with that," he stepped back a bit. Not that he still doubted her, but scary things ARE scary.

"I'm ready," he answered firmly. "What's the plan?"

She giggled a bit when he told her to be careful as he stepped back, she wouldn't kill him..not yet anyway. she leaned on a tree and thought for a moment "I think ill do a distraction then go for him when the others are busy with that...or try and take them out one by one." she crossed her arms then sighed " i'm not really sure there are a lot of things that could go wrong with this...but then again it will be fun ether way" she said as a blood thirsty smile came to her face. she was excited about this job, they looked strong and the high priest she knew was strong.

Gills crossed his arm and showed a doubting face. "Oi oi, Are you really going to take all of them alone? The entire church and the High Priest's Six Guards? Talk about confidence..." He sighed. He knew this assassin was reckless from how she barged alone into the royal castle, but he didn't realize she was this crazy. "Also, don't forget to take me with you. That's part of the deal, remember?"

she bit her thumbnail she had forgotten that she had to bring him with her. "well i wont be alone because you will be there" she said then turned slightly from him, most assassins worked on there own so this will be a bit difficult. she had to think of a new plan one that would get them both in with out killing them right when they enter. she stood there thinking until she heard someone enter the area they were in.

"Ah there you are Fang you threw me for a loop when I heard that the treasury was blown up" the mans voice was heard before, a man walked out of the tree line. "I have been looking for you for a wile...." he stopped and looked at the prince, then shook his head. "you failed to kill him huh? should I do it for you?" he asked taking out his dagger and moved to him.

Crimson shook her head "I got a new job so dont touch him" was all she said not going to stop the other assassin from moving closer to the prince.

The Prince was still waiting to hear her new plan, so when the new person suddenly appeared out of nowhere, he was taken aback. He tried to create some distance but the stranger was too fast; in an instant he had been in the dagger's range. Gills eyed the stranger more closely. Looking at his attire, he seemed to be someone similar to Fang. In other words, an assassin.

Drat, was he sent to finish Fang's job? But he heard her saying not to touch him. That's a bit relieving...now if only her highness Fang would be so kindly help him get away from this stranger...

"Y-you heard her, right? I'm having her to do a job right now, so don't interfere. Absolutely no touching me. Not with the dagger, too!" He remarked rather meekly. It's hard to look threatening when a blade is pointed at you.

Crimson rolled her eyes at them then grabbed Romans caller and moved him away from the prince. "He is still my target he just gave me a job go find your own" she let go of him and put her and on her hip, as she looked at Roman with a board look.

"ok ok ill leave him be Crim..oh I mean Fang" he laughed then leaned on a tree in front of them. "you know the castle is in a uproar about princy here" saying this he pointed to the prince. "everyone thinks he is dead but some of the older siblings dont think so"

Crimson shrugged as she glared at him then turned away from him "go crawl in a hole Roman then set it on fire"

"oh so scary...you know this women is crazy right what ever job you give her she will probibly take your head after"

Gills watched the two bantering as if they were old friends...oh wait, they could be old friends. Looking at this...Roman dude, as she'd called him, he seemed to be around the same age as Gills. When he mentioned about the castle, he kinda saw it coming. And since the royalties knew about the treasury room's trap, there could be some suspicion drawn by his brothers. Alas, the knowledge of the secret tunnel was his alone. He didn't think even his Father the King knew about it.

He laughed dryly when Roman said she would take his head on the job's end. "I kinda know that this woman is crazy. As for my head, I don't really care. As long as she finished the job, I would be satisfied." He replied with a calm tone. Perhaps...too calm.

Roman looked at him then started to laugh "you really want to die huh?"

Crimson looked over at the prince with a glare "I am not crazy and for a prince it seams you are ready to die" she mumbled the last part as she turned back to Roman. "get lost before I take your head i know quite a few that would be happy to have it"

Roman shook his head still chuckling "remember I know some that want yours as well" he said and with that he jumped onto the trees, he had figured that he might know what her target was and started to the church. they have known each other for a long time and have worked together a few times, but they were not friends...well like friend rivals that one slip between them could get one of them killed and with is luck it would be him.

Gills watched him jumping into the trees and disappeared from sight. Coming and going unnoticed, like a storm. "Who...the hell is he?" He asked Fang, still dumbfounded by the sudden appearance of Roman. He still couldn't determine his reason to show up. "Will that change our plan for tonight? Is he an ally or an enemy?"

"he is nothing just another assassin though if we are going to do this it will have to be tonight" she knew that Roman would just do a recon and try to figure out her job. "because unlike me he hates you and your family and if he finds out he will tell the target" she turned and looked at him before walking past him. "you should make plans to ether get back to the safety of your castle or to get out of the city right after this is done" she said as she walked back to town.

Roman had gotten back to town and made his way to the church "this is just a hunch but she should come here at some point" he walked in and looked around for someone to talk to.

The Prince smirked a bit when she said that Roman hated him and his family. Yeah. Me too. But he didn't let it show on his face for long, and just followed her back to town in silence. The plan will go tonight, and he will achieve what he wanted. No matter the cost.

A young female priest was cleaning the seats for churchgoers when she saw Roman came in. The church is preparing for busy days on the Festival, and everything was thoroughly tidied up. The main hall's stage was given more attention. The pedestal was brushed and polished, the piano dusted, the floor swept again and again so as not even a speck of dust remains. The female priest curiously approached the sudden visitor as it was rare for someone to come to a church between the Parade and the Festival.

"Welcome, brother. What can we do to help you?" She gave him a kind smile.

Seeing the women walk up to him he smiled behind his mask as he moved to her. "yes i am looking for someone who has spoken to a women in a small red outfit lately." he bent down a bit to be at her eye level "you are vary beautiful why are you hear instead of in my arms?" he said in a flirtations tone. one thing Roman loved other then killing was women and he enjoyed flirting with them.

The woman had sworn to follow the way of Priesthood but hearing his compliment made her blush either way. She tried to hide it with her hands but it was futile. "Y-you're joking, I-I'm already devoting my life to the Three Deities..." she murmured softly. Although, she didn't know about his first question. A woman with red outfit? There were a few people coming here yesterday but no one matched that description. Who could that be...

"I think I know who you're talking about," a familiar sound came from behind her. It was the priest that Fang had talked with when she scouted the place. His eyes showed understanding about who Roman really was. "Sister, you can leave this man to me. I'll assist him." As he said that, the female priest bowed at Roman and went away half running, her face still blushing like mad.

"Forgive me, but I can sense people like you and her just by looking at your bearings. Let's just say...I got experiences with them," he remarked.

He loved the look on her face it made him want her more, but as the man came to them his mind was drawn away from her and onto the man. "no no its fine I just need some questions answered then ill be out of here" he smiled as his eyes watched her go. "it seams there are a lot of cute girls here" he chuckled then turned to the priest "lets talk in privet shall we?"

The priest laughed when he pointed that out. He shook his head gently. "Every woman is beautiful in their own ways, and the Three Deities welcomed everyone with open arms. It is the beauty of their heart that make them attractive, as you've experienced just now. But please, come to this room. We priests are sworn to keep your worries with us in secrecy, you don't have to worry."

He led Roman to the same room that he'd led Fang yesterday. Taking the same seat as before, he motioned for him to sit on the opposite one. "Please make yourself at home. The church belongs to everyone, even people outside the faith of Three Deities. Now then, pray tell me what do you want to know."

he chuckled as the man laughed, he agreed even the crazy fang was beautiful other then her out side. Roman nodded then fallowed him into the room, unlike fang he sat down and leaned back getting comfortable he had no reason for intimidation it was just a few questions. "well if you know of that crazy women and of what I am she must of come in here and spoke with you, I was only wondering what she wanted here" he stretched out a bit "I mean the Red Fang would only come here for a reason correct?"

The priest raised his eyebrow. "Red Fang? Was that her name? Ah, forgive me if I'm oblivious to your reputation. I had left this...occupation for a long time. I had no reason to keep up with you young ones," he paused for a bit. "If you're talking about that lady, I can't tell you what she'd asked of me because that will be breaking my sworn of secrecy. However, I can tell you this much. She seems to be interested with our High Priest."

He nodded he really hadn't expected him to know her anyway it was just a in case he dd thing. "She is no lady but thank you that is all the information I need" he smiled his hunch was right, he would have to speak with him next. "so were is the High Priest I wish to speak with him" he moved like he was about to get up but waited for him to speak first.

The priest kind of saw that coming, but he maintained his cool. "The High Priest is in his room. He is preparing himself for the coming festival. I can escort you there but I do not guarantee an audience. If that is okay with you, please follow me." He stood up and motioned for roman to follow him. If he was interested, he would take him to the uppermost room where the High Priest reside. Whether this man would be accepted would depend on what he had to say to High Priest, though.

"thank you that is vary kind of you" he said happily then got up to fallow him. "as we walk would you mind telling me your past name, iv always been interested in the older generations" he said as he fallowed the priest out of the room. He really wanted to speak with the high priest about any resent attacks and about Fang, if he was interested in hearing it anyway.

The priest chuckled. "I had forsaken my name, as I had died once. My life is now in the hand of the High Priest and the Three Deities. Anyway, here it is," he had led him to the uppermost floor. In front of them was a large oak door leading into the only room in the floor. The priest carefully knocked on the door. A woman's voice could be heard from within. One would've recognized it as one of the Six Guards, the woman wearing blue robe.

"Who is it? What do you need?"

"I am Priest Lancaster. There is a young man who would like an audience with the High Priest."

"The High Priest is resting for the Festival. He will not accept any visit, even from the priests of this church," a man's voice replied his query.

"...There it is. What do you think, young man?" The priest asked Roman. If he got nothing important to get the High Priest's attention, then there's nothing that he can do.

Roman smirked and put his hand on his hip he was not going to accept that, if the High Priest had seen Fang then he would get something out of this "im hear about the women in red tell your High Priest that" he said to the door. he didnt feel like having a panic from the priest in saying it was about an attack and this way he didnt give out to much information.

His words didn't ellicit much reaction from the priest and the people inside, but surely the High Priest noticed. There was a few arguments heard from within the room, but ultimately the door swung open. A woman in blue robe showed up and bowed down to Roman. "Forgive us, we didn't know that the High Priest had expected you. Father Lancaster, thank you for bringing him to us. You can leave now."

"As you wish," the priest nodded politely and went down the stair. The blue woman then motioned for Roman to go in.

Rather than calling it a room, a hall would be more appropriate. There were shelves with books about Magic and legends of the Three Deities on the sides, but other than that the room was almost devoid of furnitures. There were six seats, three on each sides, which seemingly belong to the Six Guards. On the far end of the room was a large bed, and on top of it sat Arthur Lancwein, the High Priest of Serion.

There was only the woman in blue robe and a man with white robe and red stripes there. The other Six Guards were on duty. The High Priest didn't look worried in the slightest upon seeing Roman, though. He just flashed him his usual kind smile he always showed to the public.

"Welcome, child. I fancy that you have something to say about a woman in red?" His voice was soft and gentle, yet firm.

Seeing the women bow to him he smirked and fallowed her in. seeing all the book he let out a low whistle as he put his hands in his pockets, it was rare for him to see this many books. walking up to the bed he looked at the High Priest and tilted his head slightly confused at what he seen. "you look to young to be the High Priest" saying this he crossed his arms then shook his head. "first the two have to leave Im sure you know what I am but I dont take on jobs that harm men of faith" he had always got a bad feeling when he killed off a priest so he had stopped some years back.
