Clarification 1 month from lavender town to the bottom of rout 12 as in near 13 right? Cause we're coming from route 11 which is the half way point for round 12


 
Other thing is do we have to RP out every single day? Becuase one of two things are going to happen we're either going to train up our pokemon a lot in one day or this is going to move way too slow... It took us a week trough one day that's with putting up 1-3 long posts a day.

If you're coming from Route 11 you have a one month travel expectancy from the moment you set foot onto Route 12.


If you all want to scoot along to Lavender Town, then organize among yourselves and let me know when everyone is confirmed to be ready for a time skip.


This goes for everyone, not just the group in question, by the way. If everyone is ready for a time skip, then make your final posts about a bit of closure for your character's current situation and I'll give everyone a one month time skip. During your reaction you can post about whatever you did during that one month period, but keep in mind that realism is key.


For instance during the month skip you will obviously have done some training which is all well and good. How about finding other Trainers to battle? How did the battles go and how many Poke Dollars did you earn? Did your Pokemon learn a new move? If so, which move and how long did it take them to really get the hang of it to use it effectively in battle without hurting themselves or completely messing up the execution? If they learned a new move, how did you practice it and why did you as a Trainer choose that method of practice? How did you sustain yourselves without the comforts of civilization? Fruit trees, berries, roots, fishing, what? I won't allow anyone to just skip from one Route to another without explaining how they survived the long trek. You don't magically survive one month without resupplying food and water as you all well know.


Those kinds of things all need to be addressed during your first post after the skip, and get a little creative with it.


So, if everyone is ready for a skip then get your closure post in and let me know that you're all set. Once I get confirmation from everyone, and I mean EVERYONE, that we're ready for the skip, I'll execute it on Sakura's post.

Just to be clear, is the time skip an "if" thing or mandatory? Not that I mind either way, just need to know what I need to prepare for and discuss with my group.


A lot can happen in a month, and admittedly it is a quick way to see their progression, but that is a lot of games to be missed during the time where the trainers would really be learning the ropes as per the theme of the RP.


Right now our group is right about at the beginning of the Viridian Forest, depending on what is to be done in Pewter City, such as the Gym if they are not closed, I would expect that they would perhaps have reached Mt. Moon in a month?

Our Groups could possibly meet up or at lest meet each other in Mt moon. Its where our group is going next. Avoid civilization and train up for a while.

The payout is the same for double battles as it is for single battles.


 
The time skip doesn't have to be a full month if not everyone is ready for such a jump. If you'd prefer a full week or maybe two weeks, we can do that instead. For those near Lavender that would put them at the halfway point along Route 12 to reach their destination while the other group near Pewter can finish their time in the forest and make it to the city in time to see the reconstruction effort and attempt to find the Gym Leaders to challenge them. Mind you, since they're helping with reconstruction, they may require a bit of convincing before they give in and battle you.


But remember, once you do engage them, they are portrayed by yours truly during the battle so you'll have to commune with me before you're allowed to make a single post regarding what takes place during said battle.

Are we doing a time skip now? or are we resetting where our characters are now that an official time has been given? We've been writing that our group has reached Lavender town to have a starting point and be more organized.

This is what I mean by organizing. You and those who are writing alongside you in your group need to discuss this and come to a conclusion as a group and tell me what it is so that we can move forward from there.

Well, since I'm a solo act, I can pretty much jive with whatever is going on. But like @cloudyblueday said expect a mega post to catch things up. Right about now Geoffrey is about half a day or so before getting into Viridian Forest. I was actually looking forward to the trek through that and wouldn't like to time jump it, but like I said, I can go with whatever happens. That's just my own personal preference.

Well, I was doing a bit of work for my character in this RP and a question came to mind.


What teams of Pokemon will you guys go in the RP?


I'll tell you one thing, my team would be this:


Chimchar, Luvdisk, Garbodor, Foongus, Slurpuff and Trubbish.

Team I have thought at the moment is : Cyndaquil, Hoot-Hoot, Ralts, Noibat, Shuppet, Pichu


So final team would be Typhlosion, Noctowl, Gardevior, Noiverm, Banette and Pikachu/Raichu


Have a primarily speed and special attack based team Raichu depends on if I find a Thunderstone, the rest evolve on their own by leveling.
