The crazy one
The Raven had docted near a small little town that Ashtra to be honest didn't know the name of. As she gathered her grew members they all gathered onto a raft boat and started towards to town. Most people would say having a woman aboard a ship was bad luck but obviously Ashtra had shown them wrong, she had been on a ship all her life and now was one of the lords, Ashtra didn't waste a minute to take pride of herself.

As they reached the docs the crew tied to small boat to it and they all got out, "go do what you want but don't get in to much trouble, this time I wont bail you out. " Ashtra knew most of her crew would get into more trouble then most children did, but she didn't care they had been at sea for months now.

The girl who had faked her persona stepped off of the small boat and slid herself onto the dock with agile legs. What was it she called herself again to get the rest of the crew deceived? Her alias name? Aubin. Yes, that was the name she hid her shame behind. It was a dark world that they lived in, darker skies ever still. The blood and gold lust of men practically reeked about her. In response to her captain, she merely nodded from the hoard of men and proceeded onward into the town. A sudden crave for a new weapon reaching her thoughts. Perhaps it was time to do as the do in France, and obtain one. For free.

With the tightening of the wraps, the figure of the 'male', only 5'7 and relatively thin with unnatural curves, turned 'his' youthful face to a map posted up outside the mass of buildings. Tracing 'his' finger along it 'he' quickly noticed a shop with two rapiers crossing each other, perfect. It was just as 'he' needed.

Julian the crews quartermaster smirked. Little towns were always the best in his eyes slim to no guards and little people likely to fight back if anything does happen. Oh the fun he can have in this town all the drinking maybe even if he is lucky some fighting his type of day. Of cause the captain was giving them a warning about not being able to bail them out its not like she does normally no that's Julian well most of the time when its not him anyway that is.

"Sure cap'n no trouble we got it." Julian said smirking before stepping off the boat. "Now then wheres the closest tavern." He said wondering off towards the town before stopping. "Fancy a drink cap'n?" He asked no point leaving the lady alone heck if she got into trouble that wouldn't be good now would it.

The gentle padding in the midday air filled the alley, the sweet and savory smell of foods and ale floating to her nostrils. Bright blue eyes flashed as 'Aubin' carried on down the road, completely isolating herself from the men. She had no problem being a woman, but rarely every were women pirates, unlike her captain she'd never had much faith in her body nor her identity.

Solemnly she hung her head, shifting her feet along the dusty path, the glare of the bright warm sun bearing down and reflecting on her golden hair. Her more feminine side showing. She had tried to hide her female image with dirt, blood, drinking, a male-like personality. But, she mostly kept to herself, she was a rather emotionally delicate and isolated figure, memories of her family beyond happier time flashing through her mind.

With a quiet sigh she dismissed them, placing her thumbs in the sash around her waist as she peered onward to the small building with smoke coming out the chimney, it had a flaming presence around it already, a blacksmith. Perfect.

Looking to Julian Ashtra smiled "why not" and she started towards to pub one hand on her sword, the other on her gun. Ashtra always kept her weapons ready most of the time her men did get in trouble, so there was always the most obvious part of their trouble. Fighting.

Opening the door to the pub she walked in, of course it was filled with drunk people and woman looking to make money, Ashtra hated the sight of woman doing a job like giving men pleasure for money. Sighing she walked up to the front, all the seats where taken. Putting her gun on the back of a man she spoke, "move" she demanded and the man moved. Asthra did the same for a man next to her seat to Julian could sit.

Julian smiled and followed Ashtra to the closest pub in the town. He looked threatening as he was forced to carry his flintlock rife in his hands or well over his shoulder anyway.

Arriving at the pup he sighed it was the same everywhere, men drinking to forget all the hard times and women looking to get money off all the drunken men same most places. Ashtra commandeered some seats for herself and Julian off two 'gentleman' who moved after being asked The Raven way. Julian whistled getting the attention of the barkeeper before pointing to the table. "Barkeep bring us some drink i'll take whatever." Julian said placing his weapon down next to him. "And bring whatever the lady wants."

A sinister grin stretched upon the young lass' face, she quickly set to work as she casually entered the building. Appearing as though she was just a man looking to buy a weapon, inconspicuous.

"Good after'noon young lad." The man behind the counter greeted, a jeer to his voice, a calm and respectful tone to his voice, a peaceful man, clearly from his exterior and the way his voice carried. This forced Christina to stop dead in her tracks, terribly regretful for what she was about to do. She only preferred to steal from pirates, or no good nobles. This man, he had a gentleness to him, maybe a family, he was friendly.

"Afternoon good sir." The heavy accent quickly pointing her out as a French, though, she threw a deeper tone in there to make her seem as though she was a boy, around the age of 16 or 17. With a gentle and thoughtful hand, she stroked her chin, gazing at the fine array of weapons behind him, before his voice reached her ears again. "What would you like lad? The prices are high however for some of the finer quality weapons, in fact, not even many nobles can afford such."

This statement sent a glint into Christina's eyes as her gaze landed upon a rapier, clearly a French weapon, something she was beyond used to, with bright eyes she stared at that one weapon in particular, until she'd also noticed its twin. A rapier of similar fashion, however the blade was black and the handle was silver on the second. "Aye... The infamous weapon of captain Jacob." He winked, "He was one of the pirate lords you know, cost me a pretty penny to obtain such a blade as that."

"I see... truly remarkable sir..." She replied, greatly now craving this weapon for the twin blade was also used by Captain Jacob, and with such he had fought a great deal of battles. With the plan already devised in her mind she hopped herself onto the counter. Her left hand reaching up to the upper hem of her shirt as she pulled it down, along with the tightening wraps, her other hand going to his back as she winked, yet, instead, seized the blades in a firm hand and rammed her elbow into his jawline.

With a scream of pain she'd only realized it was time to run, pulling the straps back to a tightening fashion and relocating her shirt to its proper position she broke into a full sprint out the door, placing both fanciful weapons into their sheaths in her sash. With the soft tapping of her own feet on the ground she could hear the blacksmith behind her chasing her. "STOP THIEF!" He'd only continue to scream, more and more as she broke way into the town, quickly in fear as many other civilians began to chase after her, all shouting the same thing. She had to lose them, she couldn't agro the pirates, that would only lead to another beating, and honestly, as a woman, and young at that, she'd prefer to not have to suffer an intense whipping and fight again.

Ashtra smiled "thanks Julian" then she thought for a second. Ashtra's coin had been stolen which meant she had those terrible dreams leading to her death, mange she should tell Julian. "Julian I'm going to tell you som-" she was cut off my screams of "stop theif!" Then she stood and sighed "just as I was getting a drink yeah?" Ashtra it had to be one of her men. Steping outside she looked to of course see one of her men, the young one Sue couldn't remember the name of right now. "Hey " she speaks and holds up her gun "you're dead" then she shoots the man. Short and simple, Ashtra didn't have time to talk things out today.

The young 'male' kept running, disappearing around a corner bend, silently morning the loss of the man who had been chasing 'him'. She hated watching people die, and the sound of the gun had only confirmed her fears, there were several townsfolk, who had stopped chasing her and began to look at the woman who had fired off the shot.

Alexander had already docked his ship at that Same Small Town, most of his crew remained on the ship as him and a select couple explored the town for any kind of interesting news. He had to admit there hadn't been any, and the town was also pretty boring. That was until he heard the Gun shot in the distance, he hurried his pace in that direction, moving in a fast walk. He didn't move out into the open and remained by a wall in the shadows, watching the townsfolk crowd around the victim and look towards someone else. A Woman with smoke leaking from her pistol.

Julian stepped outside the pub with his drink in hand after all they was no point letting a good pint go to waste now was they. He had his gun in his free hand and stared at the townsfolk looking at the captain before letting out a sigh. "Merde"(sh*t) he muttered before finishing off his pint and dropping the cup. "Move along unless you want to be next." Julian said before listing up his gun aiming at the townsfolk, normally he would have just shot at their feet but wheres the fun in just scaring them off like that since well you get shot at you run. "Oh yeah cap'n I saved your drink." Julian said as he faced Ashtra before turning his attention back to the townsfolk.

She ran, faster than she'd ever run before, making her way to the dock where she threw herself over the railing and onto the deck of the ship. It was then she placed her hands on her knees and began to breathe heavily, the exhaustion of the adrenaline boosting run had left her ever so fatigued. It was a grueling and sickening feeling in her stomach as she saw little tears drip onto the polished wood.

She stumbled towards the crow's nest where she began climbing, in high hopes Julian hadn't recognized her face, oh... if he did she'd receive the worst beating of her life. It was a lot to take in and the very thoughts just began to frighten her. Softly, she landed in the uppermost part of the ship, laying down and holding the two swords close to her, not saying a word. He was French, must like she truly was, and he would not tolerate this sort of misbehavior, this was a fact, not a dream, not some sexual fantasy (Cause people are like that.). No, she would be beaten, and it terrified her.

Ashtra nodded "thanks Julian " she truned to go back into the pub but stopped and looked back at the towns people, "you heard the man, go!" She ordered them putting her gun back in its holster. Going back into the pub she took her drink, "Julian go find the man who was the so called theif" she ordered.

Julian nodded. "I already have an idea on who it might be." Julian said before he started heading towards the dock area he stopped after a few feet and turned back around. "Do you wish to speak to him or shall I get right to the chase?" Julian asked as she slowly walked backwards towards the dock area no point in waiting around he could already guess the answer, but heck asking the captains permission just looks better in front of a crowd.

Little blue feminine eyes peaked over to protection of the crow's nest, Julian was coming, he knew she was up here. It was then she calmed herself, he knew Aubin, was up here. She relaxed and rested her hands behind her head. She had to play it cool, she was a man now, she had to toughen up and reside in this place as if she'd owned it.

Ashtra smiled "do as you please, but remember I need working men" she reminded Julian and took a drink. Waving him off Ashtra sat down, she hated to have to shoot man but if he was going to bother a crew member she had to.

Julian nodded and walked back to The Raven and sighed as he stepped on board. He guessed where the culprit behind the theft would be up in the crows nest the best and smallest place to hide not to mention one of the other crew members mentioned that's where he went. He knew it was Aubin one of the few other french men on the ship which meant he could speak his first language to him. "Abuin descendre ici maintenant!." (Get down here now!) Julian said hoping Aubin still knows his first language.

She peaked her head over, hearing her native language being used. Julian. "Bien sûr, Monsieur." (Of course sir.) And on the command she began to climb down, rather reluctantly until her feet touched the firm wooden boards and she stood before him, head eyes fixated on the ground. "I am sorry... sir." She raised her blue eyes up to him slowly, the paleness of her pink lips curling. Up close, she really didn't look like a male, but as the flatness of her chest would tell, she was still a boy.

Julian let out a deep disappointed sigh before shaking his head, taking a closer look at him he looked feminine but the chest said other wise so they was no need to worry about humiliating him after all humiliating a girl to any degree is just wrong in his eyes anyway."Your the thief aren't you so what did you steal, depending on your answer depends on your punishment but not matter what your getting punished after all you disregarded the captains order when we first came to this island."

Biting her own lip roughly she pulled out both of the swords from her sash, kneeling down to let the quartermaster handle her punishment. She'd taken something of great value, clearly this would be a stain upon her in some way. A small fear crept into her heart, but the braver sides of her kept her from showing it, she was ready to accept punishment for disobeying. Yet, there was a part of her that wanted to cling to the swords, she wanted them desperately, she even felt an attachment to it in a way.

Alexander grinned and straightened his redcoat before walking from the shadows, keeping to himself and walks towards the pub. He enters and looks around for the Woman, she had already interested him, you don't see many strong women, especially a woman that orders other men around. He found her and walked over, sitting down beside her whilst ordering a drink for himself;

"Quite the Attention you got there." His accent was Polished English.

Ashtra sighed heavily as the man sat next to her, seeing no choice but to speak she did. "Well I'm a captian Alexander of course I do" she said taking a drink assuming he would ask how she knew his name she explained. "You're a pirate lord as am I " she took another drink.

Alexander raised an eyebrow at her and then grinned, so much for being subtle he though, "I knew there was something about you, yet I do not have the gift to know another's name." His drink was placed in front of him and he took a swig before continuing, "So. Pirate Lord. How do you know my name?"

"Simple, you have a gold coin yeah?" She questioned. Making conversation wasn't what Ashtra was good at but it looked like she was stuck with it, "that makes you a pirate lord" she rolled her eyes.

Alexander took another swig of his drink, "Fine. But I still don't understand how you knew my Name." He shrugged it off eventually, it's not as if it mattered, maybe it was a good thing he had some fame, he turned on his seat and looked at her, "Captain. Female. Pirate Lord. Bossy. Strong. Ashtra?"
