Fandom Persona - Mirror World

"Weapons? You can bring one on your own. Maybe next time, friend. And i advise you not to call your Persona unless you really need them. Summoning them puts strain in your body and a fight can be exhausting." Kit took off his hat. "And i haven't introduce my self. My name is Kit. Kit the Fox, just like the park's mascot. In fact, i am him."

The persona faded away as Paige's attention turned to the foxguy. "Alright Foxy, nice to meet you, I said my name before but for courtesy's sake my name is Paige, and Yuki here is my student... Also, Yuki, just because were stuck in an extradementional space doesn't mean that report on friday is postponed..." she stated looking to the young lady. "Just because I gave you all 3 weeks to do it doesn't mean you should waste the two I gave."

Were these people for real? Kit, as he called himself, had just dumped a pile of information that would probably come from an NPC in a video game. And they just...agreed with it? Suzuya would not refuse to believe what he was saying was the truth. Clearly, he knew more about that place than they do. Plus, like he said, it was a dream. But still, even the adult there was not acting as Suzuya would call "normal", instead just focusing on trivial matters such as homework. It was just....uncanny for him.

Maybe he was the element off-the-wall of the group, who knew. Suzuya remained silent on the matter. Standing out was something he would like to avoid. He preferred to be ignored than being the center of attention, after all.

He turned to Tanaka with an awkward chuckle at his suggestion. "It's not as simple as that...but I'll try." Just because he was nervous around girls, that didn't implicate he would not go his way to help one, of course. It was just a bit embarrassing for him to be looked as "the shy guy".

"Uh... Sorry, Teach? Didn't mean to ditch it but i was... Busy." Obviously, Yuki can't tell her about the weird person she saw and currently looking for. Not about the Velvet Room.

"Anyway, i am very sorry that all of you have been dragged inside. The world, that feeds on negative emotion, suddenly gets very restless from the first week of the month. Many people are sucked in, and unfortunately not all of them are brave enough to face their Reflection..." Kit bowed down.

Akiko snorted derisively at Tanaka.

"An honest mistake? Sure..."

Then she turned back to the group at large, raising an eyebrow at the fox.

"So this happens every month?" She asked.

Surely I would have noticed? She wondered.

"And to escape we have to face these reflections of ours?"

"You seem knowledgeable of this place, since you've been here before you know the way out right?" the woman asked, looking down to her student with her arms crossed but tone still far from anger. "The less we have to use these persona things the better, I don't like this one bit, even if it means this weird spirit quest, we only live once. lets not waste it by going in unprepared, if were going in a all." she spoke thinking back to her merc days... these kids were an odd bunch, but if they had to fight no dobut they would... hopefully...

"Tattoo? What tattoo?..." Jade thought confused as he stared at the fox.

It didn't take more than a brief glance to confirm the fact that many of the people in the group had a butterfly tattoo. Jade rolled up his sleeves but didn't manage to find said tattoo, it was at that moment when he figured out the other possible location on which it could be. Jade turned around to face away from the group before unbuttoned part of his shirt. There it was: The butterfly tattoo. It was due to this whole process of unbuttoning and buttoning that Jade missed the invocation of a Persona, and by the time he looked back at the group it was already too late. After Kit was done explaining Jade rose his hand.

"Um, excuse me, you keep on saying we need to fight...But who, or what, exactly is our foe?" Jade asked before pointing at the clowns. "Those things? They don't look too tough..."

"Facing your reflection is not the only way, i'm afraid. Not without something very strong that turning the Shadows restless... Shadows are the name of the creatures that lived in this world, including me. Fear not, i'm different from them and work as... A guide." Kit wears back his hat. "If you want to completely get out and return this world to it's normal state, you have to find the source of the strong negative emotion and destroy it."

Tanaka became uncomfortable and restless on the the talk about reflection and negative emotion. He kept looking back and forth between the exit and the group as if figuring out a possibility to leave."Well you guys have enough people there and i have no tattoo.. See.." He lifted his sleeves to show there was no tattoo."If you need some outside help fighting monsters.. Shadows... Whatever i can get you in-touch to people." He turned to leave.

"Hold on there." Suzuya caught Tanaka by grabbing his collar abruptly. An expression of stern and concern nature dominated his young adult features. Something was off about the slightly younger boy. And Suzuya would not let him just wander off on his own. Like Akiko had said, they should stick together. "Are you sure there's no tattoo? It can just be somewhere else other than your arms..." The purple haired male opened his jacket slightly in order to show a tiny butterfly on his collarbone. Thank god it wasn't in a visible location... "...Or perhaps are you not comfortable showing your body to us?" Scars, bruises? Or perhaps something else entirely? "I can't speak for everyone, Tanaka, but I assure you: I'm not a judgmental person. Just tell the truth and you'll be fine. I know it's hard to ask this to someone whom I just met but have some trust in us." He gave Tanaka a meaningful look. "Don't just walk away from this."

Tanaka frown rubbing his neck as he turned to face Sazuya, his cheery disposition disappearing completely to anger but that went away quickly as well. "Look... Its not that i dont want to help, like i said you guys will need some items and i know guys who will get it for you. I just... There is few things i dont want to speak about ok." He turned to leave, he knew were his tattoo was. He noticed it on his sternum after a really weird dream a couple of days ago, he thought it was a result of a drunken night out.

"You can't just leave like that! If you doesn't have a tattoo, then it means that you are dragged into this world by force. No tattoo, no Persona. Which means, no guardian that can save you when you needed it the most." Yuki voiced her comment. She turned at Kit. "So? What will happen if that guy doesn't have a tattoo?"

"He won't be able to leave the world. He have to go through the amusement ride first, and found the exit door him self." Kit walked into the park, passing the broken gate with ease. "I detected a strong emotion near the Merry Go Round. It's not far from here, and i don't know whether it is your emotion or someone else's... Anyway, be on your guard. The shadows will attack anyone in sight and will try to eat you."

Jade had known all along that someone would want to leave that nightmarish place and have nothing to do with the group, but it surprised him that it would be that flirty guy since he looked pretty calm throughout the whole ordeal. Jade couldn't blame him though since something similar was happening to him and a strange sense of fear slowly began making him think of the worst case scenario. What if they couldn't leave the amusement park? What if someone's Persona didn't work and he or she ended up being devoured by the Shadows? All of these questions and more kept circling around his mind and Jade was doing his best to ignore them. In an attempt to distract himself Jade turned towards both the flirty guy and his friend.

"Just let him go. If he wants to leave then we shouldn't interfere with his decision. I too would like to help him...But by asking him to stay here you are telling him to risk his life. Look, you claim that you don't have a tattoo, right? Well I find it strange that while all of us have a tattoo you don't. If you are telling the truth then I am sorry for doubting you...But if you are lying then you cab wander off and search for the exit yourself. You will have a Persona to take care of you, meaning you can deal with those Shadows. Or maybe you can't. Maybe the Shadows will outnumber you and that will be your end." Leroy said with a surprisingly serious tone. He hated being the bearer of bad news, but it was clear that soft words wouldn't work on the guy. "That's a decision you must make, not us."

"...So, you're just going to walk away from this? Be on your own in this nightmare?" Suzuya folded his arms, tilting his head with a calm yet somewhat cold gaze. He raised his arms in defeat as he heard Jade speak towards him. "Fine, do as you wish. He's right, I'm not responsible for your safety. Guess actually showing some concern for others was uncalled for. I'll just mind my own damn business." He spoke in a suprisingly serene, respectful voice. Sarcasm, of course. He wasn't trying to make Tanaka risk his life, he was just making an effort to avoid getting someone injured or killed. He believed in Kit's words of reasoning. And thus, letting someone walk off on their own with no way to protect themselves felt...wrong for him. But he kept silent. Tanaka's attitude annoyed him but he had to respect his privacy. Suzuya rubbed his forehead in frustration, closing his eyes as he sighed. He couldn't lash out as usual, he had to stay calm.

Tanaka moved to the mirror, trying to ignore the others speaking behind him. He couldn't help fell guilty, any other time he would have been glad to help out and felt like a coward for not doing so. However, the negative side scared him more than anything. He stepped up to the mirror and tried to go through it though it was solid, and all he could see was his reflection and the others behind him. His reflection caused his attention, it was him but not him at the same time, he lost sinister with bright yellow eyes. He gasped and stepped back and when he looked at his reflection again it was normal. "Uh... Ok... "He turned around stepped back at the group. "About earlier..."

Akiko folded her arms in silence, watching the others attempting to dissuade Tanaka, but deciding not to weigh in on the discussion. It was his call, even if Akiko didn't necessarily agree with it. She watched as Tanaka walked to the mirror, paused, and then turned back to the group.

"I wouldn't worry about it, Tanaka." She commented, shrugging slightly. "There's some crazy stuff going on, everyone's stressed. And I'm also guessing that we're all here because we each have something we'd rather not confront."

She shifted slightly, a nervous habit of hers, before glancing between the rest of the group.

"Maybe we should all relax a little and just... look after our own problems. I know that If I was in Tanaka's position, I'd prefer some space to figure things out, and I wouldn't need to feel like I have to justify my every action."

Akiko shrugged awkwardly. Her opinion might not be popular, be she could only go with what she thought was best.

"Something that we rather not confront, huh?" Yuki knows that there is something inside her that's causing her to trapped her. She just... knew. But she doesn't know what it is. Maybe it's related to the accident that causes her to lost her memory? The reason why she is sent here by her parents? There's a possibility. Yuki bit her lips.

"Some of you might already know that i lost my memory. Maybe that lost memory is the one that's dragging me inside..." Yuki turned around, looking into the park that is filled with those creepy inhuman creatures. "But i want to know, i want to remember. That's why i'm going inside and face my Reflection or whatever."

He sighed as he listened to the others reaction to his return, thought seemed sympathetic he knew he had lost their respect. Story of my life, he thought feeling low and frightened of what was to come though he didn't show it. "Well at least i get to meet all you lovely girls through it all, if you dont run away from what my issue is." He commented forcing a chuckle. He looked out at the grounds of this creepy amusement park, he was drawn to a specific area of the amusement park a small area between two tents like an alleyway... Why he was drawn to he didnt know but it scared. "Well, if we are so content to facing our issue we should start i guess.... The sooner we start the sooner we finish."

(LET'S REVIVE THIS)

"I have to agree with Tanaka-san on this one- Eh? Tanaka-san? Where are you going?" Yuki quickly approached him, resting her hand on her shoulder. "What's wrong?"

"I dont know just... "He said before trialling off as he continued to look out into the amusement park. Without walking into the amusement park, following the strange feeling attraction to the area. He sensed some unearthly movement going on nearby, like something was following them but keeping there distance. He froze when he heard his voice echoing in the air.

"Worthless...Coward... A disappointment... Thats what i am thats, what i am going to be.. Couldnt take preasure needed a little something to relax... Needed something to make me do better."

(sorry, exam week and stuff, college life is a hard one)

"Hey! You two! Where do you think-" the voice echoed as the first steps to the carnival began, seems they were to be dealing with buddy boy's problems. Hopefully he wasn't a psychopath or something... not that she wouldn't expect it really coming from this place, all she had to do was keep a cool head and not freak out... and find a weapon of sorts, an anti-clown measure.

"So we're going to be listening to everyone's inner monologue eh?" she gave a quick look around and then to the others... noticing the distinct lack of adults... This was going to be one hell of a angsty joy ride wasn't it?

"Well, let's get to solving your inner most troubles, however the hell were supposed to do that... And not like we can get a psychiatrist in here to talk it out."

Akiko shrugged with a resigned expression.

"I'm ready to get going when you guys are." She said. "If we're going to do it, we may as well get on with it."

"Good to see he finally came to his senses..." Jade thought as he quietly watched the group enter the gloomy looking carnival. "Well, here goes nothing...Hopefully we don't turn into Clown Chow" He whispered before following the group.

A part of Jade was curious to see what inner demons hunted that boy named Tanaka. Facing one's problems mustn't be an easy task to achieve, specially when various other people, some which you barely know, are standing around you to watch. It was the fear of being judged that would make the whole experience feel more bitter, at least for Jade. The whole subject made Jade even think about the possibility that there were some problems deep inside of him that he wasn't aware of or wasn't willing to face, but seeing how he couldn't think of one at the top of his mind Jade simply discarded the theory and kept walking.

"This... This is all lies... I was good student it... It was just, the graduate's life wasn't for me... I wanted to explore." Toru muttered unconvincingly before forcing himself to move on.

"Mr Kit? What's that sound? Where is it coming from?" Yuki asked their guide. There is no chance on his face, but Yuki somehow could tell that he is not smiling.

"The Merry go Round is located around that area - Watch out, the shadows have noticed us!" Kit warned, as a pack of headless lion approach the party. Yuki grabbed a rusty metal pipe, wondering if it can deal a damage or not.

"Let's separate here! Some escort Tanaka to where ever the hell that voice is coming from and the rest... Well... Let's try to stop these monsters here?"
