Fandom Persona 5 AU: In America! OOC Thread

So for the first part of the story, I'm going to start at the end of the first Palace mission with 3 of the characters facing the first boss after sending the Calling Card.
You can decide among yourselves which 3 of you will go first, but the others will be introduced afterwards.
The benefit of going first are going first and the benefit of going second is having more freedom in designing your character's backstory.

For the first boss, they'll be a corrupt judge who has been unjustly sentencing children to a juvenile detention center in exchange for kickbacks (it's happened before). Your 3 characters will have ended up in front of him on false charges only to be sentenced despite your innocence. They'll have gained access to the Metaverse Navigator phone app and gotten into the Judge's palace. I'll describe the rest in the main RP thread, but that should do for the start.
 
I'm not setting this game in a specific city (I'm calling it Central City), so feel free to make suggestions on what to add to it and how it should look.

I'm really sorry but I can't accept your CS as it is now.
That's not actually what a Persona is.
They're like these. The theme for Persona 5 is rebellion, and the Personas are based on fictional, mythical, and infamous real world thieves, outlaws, etc.

Also the point of Persona 5 is rebelling against the status quo. Your character just wanting to sit around doesn't fit with that. She needs to want to address the injustices of the world and be willing to fight to do so.

If you adjust the Background, Personality, and Persona sections to address this I'll happily accept your character. Let me know if there's anything I can do to help, that's my job as the GM.

It was just the character was made for that type of person so I think it'd be easier for me to like change the hole thing and make a new one. I hope that that is ok... ;-;

It's totally fine. The point is you're playing the character you want to play and that it works with the RP.

It's my job to ensure that my players know everything they need to in order to do that.
 
So if it’s ok with everyone may my character be one of the ones in the first group? 0^0

It's up.

I had to indent quite a few extra times since I'm not what some might call "artistically inclined", and... text walls. :P
 
One thing I particularly like about the characters so far is that they seem to be covering the different elements quite well.

We have (in my assumptions):

Deckard (Fire)
Cloe (Not sure)
August (Curse/Wind?)
Mason (Gun)
Christina (Psy)
and my character...
Victor (Bless)

There's also Zero's character, whom I'm not sure we've heard anything about yet.

I could personally see Victor and Mason having a friendship.

Also, if I'm not around for a decent part of the day, it's because I'll be out shopping.
