Katy looked up when she saw Ryan and Vianca coming back toward them and she smiled enthusiastically. "Alright I have an idea. We are going to start West and head to California to find Hyperion. I was thinking we could possibly use Pegasi to travel at least part of the way." She looked to each of them and hoped they would agree to the plan. Unfortunately she was not quite well versed in the demigod to know of the various modes of transport available to them but she had seen the pegasi grazing in the field of camp.

Alec Frye ~ Team One

Alec tilted his head and hummed quietly to himself. "Who is this girl?" He thought while pulling Vianca closer, not to mention that he wasn't very good with Pegasi. It seemed like they smelt death on him and that always made them weary of his presence. He would have spoken up but he didn't want to be the only one with objections.

Vianca:Team 1

Vianca gets a little nervous when Alec pulls her closer. "Is something wrong?" She asks Alec quietly, knowing that though she can't hear or smell anything wrong, sight is much more useful when it comes to detecting danger. Then she hears the Pegasi comment. "No. Pegasi are fickle creatures that will get tired and/or lost and/or killed. I say we go on foot, maybe catch a train along the way.

Katy turned to the new Hades boy who had turned up and spoke "Oh, hello. I'm Katy," she explained, "Daughter of Athena." Then she turned to Vianca and simply nodded, "I suppose it is a start, although it will take us longer and we may need a lot of normal money as well as those drachma things." With that she checked her bag and began walking back to the gate of camp where she had been admiring the Golden Fleece, eager to leave now.

Vianca smiles. "I have no problem using the credit card I swiped from my father, even though it will probably bite me in the butt later." vianca notices how combative that sounded. "I mean, I have a credit card, so we should be good on human money."

Alec smiled at the new girl, she seemed nice enough. "I'm Alec." He said while removing his arm from around Vianca's shoulders, knowing that she was uncomfortable with it. He didn't want to seem like an ass who kept people with him against their will, much like his father.

Katy smiled a small smile at the boy named Alec and continued her descent out of camp. She had a feeling this wasn't going to be quite as easy as it sounded, and no doubt monsters were bound to advance on them sooner or later. Her daggers were now back in her hair to pull out when she needed them and Chiron had advised her to pack extra ambrosia, which she had known was the food of the gods. "Alright is everybody ready to go?" she asked, looking back at them all.


Hayley gave her a thumbs up and a wink, "I'll go anywhere as long as I get to invent something cool. Besides I added some neat updates to Artoo Dee Too here." she nodded toward her claw friend, "You won't see them until it is necessary though."

Vianca smiles. She quite likes Hayley. "I won't see them at all." Vianca jokes. She doesn't really mind blind jokes. She often makes them herself. "So, I can get a Uber for us? Where do we go first?"

Hayley grinned at Vianca admiring how she made light of a bad situation, something Hayley was excellent at if she did say so herself. Then she looked down at Artoo and spoke. "Hey Artoo, use The Force and be our GPS will you?" Artoo beeped and bobbed about a minute before transforming into a Godly Positioning System that they could carry around.


"Alright Hyperion is in San Francisco, which is also where Atlas is apparently. How's about we take a trip to Cali? Artoo will guide us."

"Hyperion is the titan of the east. San Francisco is West." Vianca says simply. "But we could go to San Francisco to find Iapetus."

Katy agreed with Vianca before continuing to walk along. Not before offering to help guide Vianca. They would all need to stick close together if they were to survive this.


"I don't want to patronise you but would you like any help Vianca?" She asked, her Scottish accent thicker now that it held more emotion.

Vianca laughs a little. "That isn't patronizing. That's helping. Patronizing would be not allowing me to fight due to my... impairment. Yes, would you help me a little?"

Katy nodded and linked arms with the girl, whom she rather respected. So far she couldn't foresee any of them arguing...except perhaps Vianca and Ryan, and even then she was sure the Aphrodite girl could calm things down a bit. She wasn't sure what to make of the ragtag team, although she felt she may clash with the effervescent Hayley a little.


"Perhaps the man with all those eyes can take us part of the way..." She suggested, having remembered seeing such a man and nearly screaming. This was Argus of course.

Alex groaned as he was tossed around the cab like a loose piece of fruit. He was nudged, elbowed and kicked as they were tossed about.


All of a sudden they came to an abrupt stop and he winced as he somehow ended upside down.


He heard the mention of the fare and held out his credit card from his mother and let out a muffled call

Luke chuckled and rolled his eyes at Alex's question about using mastercard. "Of course they don't, dummy. They're from ancient Greek, do you think they take credit card?" he teased as he reached into his backpack for some drachma. He handed a few of the golden coins over to the hags and thanked them before quickly exiting the vehicle. "Ah.. I thought I was going to lose my legs," he joked as he stretched out his limbs.

Alec pouted a little at Vianca, so she was okay with other people helping her but not him anymore? He sighed and played with the hilt of his sword, looking up at the sky he thought of trip ahead of them. It was clear that someone was bound to die on this quest. There was no doubt about it. He sighed again then sat on the grass by Thalia's tree, "This is going to be a long quest..." He thought to himself.

Cassie Hugh, Team 2

Cassie winced as she felt a tug, a string of hair being yanked out. "Ouch!" She sat upright, frowning, as she rubbed the back of her sore head. She had just been drifting off, too... By the end of the taxi ride, she had somehow ended up upside down, and Cassie thought she could feel a new bruise on her side.


Cassie suddenly felt very sick to her stomach, as if she'd been punched. Her face suddenly turned pale. One of them will die, one will loose a heart. They'll find love when their lips touch. She felt rather sickly when she stumbled out of the back seat of the cab. Luke had already paid, and now the group stood outside, wondering what to do. It was dark now, and they needed to find a place to stay. Cassie clutched her stomach. "W-we need to find a place to stay for the night." Her breathing was heavy as she bent over to pick up her backpack.

Luke noticed Cassie's sleepy head starting to lean towards him and he smiled subtlely, letting her rest on his shoulder. He turned back to Mara and his heart started to pound. "Well considering you're with the Son of Love himself, it'll definitely be interesting," he replied, his voice barely a whisper.


He let himself be tossed around the car with the others as the sisters began to take them to San Francisco, but he didn't voice a single complaint.

Mara grinned, rolling her eye. "Alright then, Pretty boy. Would you like me to bow and scrape before the Son Of Love himself?" she asked, snorting and chuckling. She heard the prophecy, and looked up, confused. "What the fuck?" she asked, raising her eyebrow as she stumbled out of the cab, growling to herself, biting back the taste of vomit in her throat. "Fucking shit," she muttered, closing her eye for a few seconds.

"You guys heard that too?" Luke's face instantly turned a shade lighter. "What in Hades was that?" he asked, looking around and scanning his surroundings. "Um place to stay... right... we could get a motel? I'm not exactly a fan of living on the streets, or the forest for that matter," he pointed out. "But how are we going to find the closest motel from here?" he asked. After all, demigods weren't allowed to keep cellphones since they were basically a monster magnet.

Cassie looked up at Luke, her face still pale and her eyes big. "I-I don't know." Her head was spinning and she felt like she might pass out. What the Gray Sisters had said...it didn't sound good for her. How do you even manage to loose a heart? Eh, I'll find out, apparently... Cassie straightened, shouldering her backpack as she tried to control her dizziness and clear her head. She took a deep breath.

Mara raised an eyebrow, walking over to Luke, wrapping an arm around him, with a whispered, "It'll be alright." She frowned, looking up into his eyes for a moment. "Guys.. there's no need to worry. The Grey Sisters don't have the power of prophecy. What they said is not our future, and it can't effect us in anyway," she explained, remembering the lessons she had learned. She smirked, "C'mon Cassie. Weren't Athena kids supposed to know that sort of stuff?" she taunted, although she meant it in a friendly manner. "Now.. about the motel.." she muttered, pausing. "Perhaps we can find some place."

Luke looked at her gratefully and touched his hand to her arm that was around him. He redirected his attention back onto the group, a little calmer this time. "I guess we just have to ask around. Or maybe keep walking until we stumble upon one," he suggested. "I don't see any other way considering we don't have cellphones and we can't use the internet." He looked at both ends of the street and randomly picked a side. "Let's go that way, I have a good feeling about that direction," he said as he pointed towards the right. "Oh and keep an eye out for monsters," he reminded them.

Alex had been last to clamber out of the cab and stretched out as he looked around.


Taking out his phone he looked up the nearest motel


"Its about 10 minutes down the street guys"


He looked down the street and then to the group, he could not promise it would be fancy but it would have beds which was a start

Vianca doesn't hear Alec following her and Katy and pauses. "Alec? Are you coming?" She asks, not really sure where he is in relation to her. She decides to assume he is behind he and turns.
