Fandom Percy Jackson RP - Settings/Locations

Raven ~ Team Two

Raven silently followed the group, accidentally switching to observation mode. She'd never been so San Fransisco, so there was lots to look at. It was a lovely city, really. Lots of cable cars, steep roads, buildings with a ridiculous amount of windows. It was a definite change from Camp, and worlds away from Australia. But it was nice, and Raven appreciated the change of scenery.

When they came to wherever Isara said they could stay, she raised an eyebrow. It didn't look dangerous; Indeed, certainly the last place any monsters would look for the group.

"Are you sure we should-" Raven finally spoke up, but didn't get a chance to say her piece before Isara spun on her heels and started walking briskly away, off to do some shopping supposedly.

"… Split up?" She finished, rolling her eyes. "Never mind, I guess. She said to ask for Mark, right?"

Walter Rais | Team 1
Walter was going to tell Alec that he shouldn't be so awkward. That they were best friends for a reason, but the Vianca spoke, asking about weaknesses. He had two major ones, but he couldn't tell about one of them. "Can only use a sword. Guilty of that."

Alec Frye ~ Team One

Alec bit his thumb and mumbled out something along the lines of, "I get sick when I use my powers." He was still a little red from before and mentioning his weakness was kinda embarrassing. Sighing he looked around the car and hummed quietly to himself. He really didn't want to sit down any longer. It was bugging him staying still for so long.

MARA

Mara simply blinked, watching. She sighed, pressing her hands against her temples. "Fucking shit," she muttered, looking over at Luke and Cassie. "Well, this can't possibly turn out bad in any way imaginable," she chuckled, voice dripping with sarcasm, her one eye focussed on the building in front of them. "Well then, shall we?" She asked, approaching the doors and opening them, turning and beckoning the others inside.

Vianca

Vianca nods. Use shadow travel only when positively necessary then. So far, they have to keep an eye out for the blind girl attempting combat, make sure that Walter doesn't lose a sword, and to not use shadow travel unless it was positively necessary. The cab stops in the middle of the city and Argus says to get out. Vianca complies. From what Vianca could tell, it is almost night, and some of these people have never slept in a cardboard box. Time for a little bit of education then. "Alright." She says. "Who here has ever slept in a cardboard box?"

Luke Labine | Team 2

Luke was about to tell Isara that it was a bad idea for them to separate but she was gone before he could open his mouth. Sighing, he looked at the others one more time before walking inside. He was tired and wasn't in the mood for any tricks, so he activated his charmspeak when he reached the front desk.

"We need Mark," he said directly in his lull soothing voice. The man working immediately nodded and went to the back. A few seconds later, he came back with a second man, who Luke assumed to be Mark. "Hi Mark. Isara sent us here and we need a room for 6 of us," he told him, still using his charming voice.

Cassie Hugh, Team 2

On the way to the hotel, Cassie became aware of the Hecate girl constantly glancing over at her. She became suddenly self-conscious, wondering what Isara was thinking...or planning. Cassie now watched as the man at the front desk and reappeared with another man, who she could only assume was Mark. She was glad that Luke was doing the talking; she wasn't very good with most people. Cassie frowned suddenly. Isara had left them with a stranger in a hotel that they knew nothing about. Sure, there weren't any threats...yet. Something doesn't feel right. Should we trust these people? This could be a trap...

Mark smiled and nodded, he began to type something up. He turned and looked at the them. Without opening his mouth he spoke to them telepathically. "Very well right this way." He moved from the desk and began to usher the group further back into the building until they arrived at a dead end. Mark bowed to the group and raised a key to the wall. The wall shimmered and became a door which slowly opened. "For Isara's companions." The door opened to a wide living room area with nice leather seats and wooden walls. There was one bedroom in the back with 4 bunk beds surrounding the corners. Each bed very clean and neat. Mark smiled at them "There are two baths and kitchen that is fully stocked. Please feel free to use anything." He handed, Luke the key. "please do not loose this or it will cost you dearly." he bowed and walked away.

Vianca found her way into an alley and grabs a cardboard box big enough for Walter. "Here, Walt, this is going to be good for you..." She feels around and finds a slightly smaller one. "Alec, this might not be big enough. Try to squeeze in. And I'll find something for me, don't you worry." She finds a newspaper and wraps it around herself. That will do. "Alright, we set up camp here tonight. Tomorrow we go to the train, yeah?"

Walter Rais | Team 1

Walter looked around, sighing. So they were sleeping in cardboard boxes? Great. "Can I be on patrol or something? I'm not sleeping here!" He'd rather stay awake and pass out from exhaustion. He had always slept in fancy places and he was not going to stop any time soon.

Katy McDougal Team 1

Katy had no idea what she thought of sleeping in a cardboard box. It wasn't practical, and if it rained they would have no shelter and would most likely catch pneumonia, but if that was really the plan for now she would just accept the general consensus, clearly most agreed.

Hayley on the other hand complained about it endlessly until she had curled up in a ball and fallen asleep, thank the gods! It took Katy a lot longer to fall asleep as she watched the others.

Vianca slept like a rock in the boxes. With a newspaper blanket and a tissue box pillow, she feels right at home. She has been sleeping like this for a while, ever since she ran away. Her dreams were less than sound, of course, as she is a demigod, but it gets worse. She smells monster, which is usual, but she also hears it. And almost feels the air get darker. That doesn't make sense to people who can see, but imagine the air getting denser, tighter, and damp. That is how she feels the air. Because she doesn't know that Jello is approaching the alley, smelling half blood and wanting a big taste.

Walter Rais | Team 1

Walter unsheathed his sword and started swinging it around just for fun. He was sure this would be boring. Patrolling. He'd done it before. He could do it now. He just needed to stay awake. But then he heard sounds from the forest. That made him more alert. He looked around, prepared for anything. Another noise. He recognized it as twigs breaking. He turned around and jumped at the sight of some guy coming closer. He put a hand on his chest to feel calmer. Damn, that was scary. "Dude! What are you doing here? It's kinda dangerous, isn't it?" Yet again, what were they doing here, sleeping in the forest of all places?

Mara. Team 2

Mara entered the strange room, looking around her suspiciously, mace still held in hand. After their mysterious host disappeared, she sighed, leaning against a wall, resting her mace on the floor, as she crossed her arms over her chest. "Some weird fucking shit," she muttered, making eye contact with Luke. "How did Isara even know about this place?" She asked, raising an eyebrow. "I don't trust this place...." She added, "Just incase it is a trap, everyone should sleep with their weapons nearby," she advised in a louder voice so that everyone could hear her.

(It's not a forest it's a city.)

Jello tilted his head at Walter. "I live here." He growls. "I can be out here all I want. The real question is why are you out here?" His accent is thickly russian but understandable.

(Apologies! Let's just pretend it was the sound of feet against pavement cause this girl ain't in the mood to edit.)

Walter Rais | Team 1

Walter noticed the edginess in his voice and he subtly stepped back, wary and careful of saying anything. "Um, we just need to stay here for a night. Tired." He put his sword behind him. He would've sheathed it, but mortals wouldn't be able to see the sword. Unless he wasn't a mortal.

Jello moved closer. "Y'all know this is my territory, correct?" Jello grabbed Walter's shoulders tightly. "Y'all aren't allowed to be here." Jello's mist clears for just an instant, revealing his one eye for half a millisecond.

Walter Rais | Team 1

Walter noticed something strange happen to the guy's face. He didn't know what he saw, but he knew the guy wasn't a mortal. He raised his sword and pointed it at his neck, creating some space between them. "Back away." He looked at the others and started yelling, "Guys! Wake up!" He hoped they heard him.

Vianca was all too ready. She jumped to her feet. But then she noticed, monster in the air. Noises, air-feel, smell. Is she still asleep? Is she in reality? Vianca's sightless eyes grow wide as she begins to panic. What is real right now? Is any of this real? It can't be real. She smells monster, and that happened in her dream, and she is still dreaming. But then how does she feel like she is really standing? She's practically petrified.

But Jello isn't. Jello backs away slightly, scowling at the sword. He lets his mist go and snarls at Walter. "Petty half blood." He mutters, lunging at Walter.

Walter Rais | Team 1

Walter immediately swung his sword to prevent the cyclops, which he just realized who he was after the mist disappeared, from attacking. He took a hold of Vianca's wrist and pulled her behind him. "Cyclops. Be careful." But he released her arm. He knew she was strong. She could help in here.

Vianca's slightly heightened senses are failing her now. She could feel reality in her dreams and how can she tell what is real? she doesn't even have a test for being in reality. Usually the air is different when she wakes. But it isn't now. Is she still dreaming. Her heart rate picks up and she backs away from Jello, who is currently advancing on Walter. The cyclops bats away Walter's sword by hitting the flat with the back of his hand.

Katy McDougal Team 1

Katy grinned as she advanced on the cyclops, hoping to get it so angry it would charge her. "You, what are ya doing living in a cardboard box anyway? Were you too ugly for the other Cyclopes to handle looking at?" she scorned, raising an eyebrow.

Meanwhile Hayley had woken up and was doing as instructed, encircling the beast.

Katy McDougal Team 1

Katy watched as he charged, waiting for the perfect moment to side step and break his momentum. When the moment was right, she stepped to the left and hoped he would run straight into the wall.
