Raven ~ Team Two

Raven had been standing idly by, deep in thought. Pandora's box… So that's what they were dealing with. At least Cassie didn't need to be physically tied up, that was a plus. But still… Would everyone get "Infected"? The raven-haired girl wasn't sure which part of her personality the sins could really latch onto, but it was always a possibility. Not even the most level-headed person could really defend against that kind of thing.

"Hey uh… Do you want a towel or something?" She finally said, not giving Isara a chance to explain what had happened yet. Her question was directed at Mara, but was a little odd sounding thanks to her extended silence from before. Realizing what she'd said, Raven winced and tried again.

"For the dirt, I mean. I personally don't care, but I know people will stare or ask us questions if we go back outside with you covered in… Whatever you're covered in."

Luke Labine | Team 2

Luke smiled at Mara as she pulled back from the hug. Suddenly, three small little words floated their way out of Mara's whispering lips into Luke's ears. I love you, she said. His eyes widened a bit in surprise as his gaze quickly returned back to the Ares girl. He was about to open his mouth and say something before Isara came over and told him to watch Cassie, as the Hecate girl could catch Mara up. He was secretly relieved that they had been interrupted, as he wouldn't know what he would have said. Did he love her? What was love, even? He would have expected himself to be a complete master on that topic, given his heritage, but his head and his heart was once again a mess as his attention naturally focused back onto the Athena girl. "I'm probably not the best person for the job either," he muttered to himself, knowing that Cassie would be able to somehow talk him into letting her out of the constraints.

The Aphrodite boy fell into the back of the group to walk next to Cassie as the group made their way out of the building. He felt his heart begin to pound and his palms begin to sweat as he breathed in the sweet scent of the Athena girl. Why was he feeling like this? His pale blue eyes looked over at her, noticing her delicate features and soft brunette hair. She looked different... more beautiful. Or had she always been beautiful, he just didn't notice until now. His feelings were starting to mess with him as his pulse began to race out of nervousness, so he dealt with it in a way he always did- flirting. "You know I've always had a bondage fetish," he told her, giving her a flirty wink. "It's like you're trying to tempt me," he added with a charming smile.

Cassie Hugh, Team 2

Cassie looked up and smiled slightly as Luke fell in step beside her. "Just trying, am I? I kind of hope to do more than just that, Lover Boy." She batted her long eyelashes playfully at him, yet the gesture was flirtatious as well. Cassie could tell that the Aphrodite boy was nervous, and she found it kind of cute. It was almost as though he kind of liked her, and he wasn't sure how to deal with it. Kind of ironic for a son of Aphrodite, no? Cassie had to bite her lip to keep from laughing, but it did nothing to prevent the smile that tugged at the corners of her mouth. She couldn't help noticing how good it felt to really smile. It almost seemed as if she weren't evil (Ouranos's voice in her head had gone silent for the time being) and that she was just a normal teenage girl that had to deal with a really attractive flirtatious boy (Oh gods forbid!). Cassie's eyes sparkled happily as they met Luke's pale blue ones.

Isara Team 2

Isara glanced over at Cassie and Luke as they made their way around. She smiled, not really playing attention to their conversation. She tossed her hair back and smiled at Raven and Mara. She put a hand on her hip and nodded, "it's true Mara you might benefit from a towel." She rummaged in her bag and pulled out a white towel. She handed into the girl and smiled. Her voice was serious as she spoke, "take it, you really need it." She was completely serious, Isara had no idea where Mara was, but she looked horrible.

Luke Labine | Team 2

Luke scoffed, amusement still in his pale blue eyes. "I'd like to see you try," he challenged her playfully, although he knew that he would be no match against her if she did decide to seduce him. He began to relax, his pulse starting to slow down, as he noticed the beginnings of a smile that tugged at her pink lips. "What's so funny, huh?" he asked in a teasing tone. "If I need to remind you, you're the one tied up and I'm the one watching you, so it would be in your best interest to not get on my bad side," he told her arrogantly, his sparkling eyes tracing her hazel green eyes down to her soft lips.

Mara. Team 2

Mara nodded, taking the towel with a muttered thanks. Once she had cleaned the grime off her face, there was a little redness under her eye that suggested she might have been crying. She tried to get the rest of the dirt off her, but the towel was rather.. unclean, and she still evidently hadn't been in the cleanest of places. She turned away, heading over to a wall, and leaning against it, arms crossed over her chest. Her amber eye watched the both of them idily. "So.. what happened?" she asked, eyebrow raised, patiently awaiting an explanation from the two of them.

Cassie Hugh, Team 2

Cassie's smile widened as she raised an eyebrow. "Is that a challenge?" She almost laughed as she nudged his arm playfully. Cassie knew she'd beat Luke at his own game in an instant if it was. "In case you're forgetting, it's impossible for me to be on your bad side." Cassie looked up at him with big, innocent green eyes and pouted her pink lips. She noticed Luke's eyes drifting downward, and Cassie tried to follow his gaze with her own, (scared that she might have something on her face) but only managed to cross them instead. Cassie laughed, blushing slightly, and quickly uncrossed her eyes.

Isara Team 2

Isara looked at the puffy redness under Mara's eyes and smiled. She glanced at her towel, now covered in dirt and filth. She decided that Mara could keep that towel, or burn it, the last thing she wanted was to get that dirty thing back. She looked at her and sighed, "Alex, whoever that is, is a servant of Ouranos and he poisoned Cassie with the sin of wrath. He intends to do it to all of us so we don't finish our quest. There, now get off that wall and lets start walking."

"Alex?" she asked with a pause, remembering that little punk bitch from the Big House who had pissed her off. "Atleast I can bash his fucking head in now," he muttered to herself. "And isn't the whole Seven Sins bullshit Christian anyways? Why the hell are the "Seven Sins" even..." she sighed, "I give up on trying to understand." She got off the wall, beginning to walk. "This quest is going to shit faster than even I had expected," she sighed to no one in particular, feeling in a generally shitty mood.

Isara Team 2

Isara continued to walk deep in thought amongst her three selves. So we're going to see Atlas. Do you think Lea will be there? We can only hope. IF she isn't Atlas would have been the last to see her. Well he's not going to be very cooperative. I mean hw has bee holding the earth forever and If it were me I wouldn't help anyone. No matter how hot we are. Oh dear you might be right, we should get something for him. Like a gift. That's a good idea, but what kind of gift. Until something struck her. She stopped and looked at the others, "guys, if we're in San Francisco we should go get Atlas a golden apple! It's not far from here."

Mara simply shrugged at her suggestion. "Sounds good enough to me," she muttered, not remembering the whole legend of the Golden Apple, beginning to walk in the direction Isara was leading them all in. She held her mace, rested on her shoulder as she walked. "Aslong as it makes him less likely to want to immediately kill us," she added, continuing to walk. She had been mostly silent with the other members of their party for the moment, although whenever her gaze fell upon Cassie, all it held was cold distrust. Throughout the journey, she tried walking with Luke whenever she could.

Luke Labine | Team 2

A playful scowl crossed Luke's face as he realized that Cassie was right. For some reason, he knew that he could never be truly angry with the Athena girl. Just then, he heard Isara suggest that they give Atlas a golden apple and his pale blue eyes immediately lit up. "Finally, some action! I've been dying to throw my knives at something," he agreed. "Or someone. But at this point, I don't even know if Alex even counts as a 'someone'," he added dejectedly, reflecting back on how he threw his knife at the traitor. "I wonder what happened to him," he mused to himself, not really noticing if anyone heard. His attention skirted back to the rest of the group, his gaze landing on Mara out of habit, before shifting over to Isara. "Let's go. Do you know the direction?" he asked, clenching his fists.

Mara. Team 2

Mara smiled, her amber gaze meeting Luke's for a second, feeling her heart skip a beat. She subtly moved over to him, standing by his side. "Hey Pretty boy!" she said with a broad grin, "Taking a Golden Apple shouldn't be too hard for all us Demigods, right?" she asked with a grin, having a rather sinking feeling that this little... task would be anything but easy. "And Alex? I don't ruddy care what happens to him. Aslong as he's out of our way, that's good enough. But if he gets in our way," she grinned savagely, tightening her grip on her mace. "We'll have a little fun," she chuckled darkly. "You remember anything about this.. Golden Apple Isara is talking about?" she asked, looking over at him, an eyebrow raised.

Cassie Hugh, Team 2

Cassie smiled at Luke, laughing slightly at his scowl. She put her fingers up to the corners of his mouth, pushing his lips upward into a smile. "There. That's better!" Cassie's voice was full of sarcasm, and her eyes sparkled with amusement. Cassie felt a pair of eyes watching her, and when she turned, her smile faded. Mara was walking on the other side of Luke, sending Cassie occasional cold stares. Cassie frowned, wondering what she'd done to earn herself such mean looks from the other girl. She then noticed the Ares girl taking every available opportunity to interact with Luke. Cassie laughed, but the sound was rather hollow, as she figured out what Mara was up to. She's so jealous. Look at her, trying to make advances on Luke. How adorable! Cassie rolled her eyes, shaking her head slightly.

Cassie turned her gaze to Isara. "Sounds fine, I guess. Except how can we be sure that Atlas will be pacified by an apple? I mean, he's a Titan. Why would he be interested in a shiny apple?" Cassie did think the side quest sounded fun, however. It'd be exciting to finally fight something other than emotions again. The dragon at the Garden of Hesperides was the perfect candidate, too. Cassie began to get excited as she clutched the hilt of her sword, imagining it in her hand.

Isara Team 2

Isara looked at the eager two somewhat relived and somewhat confused. She didn't know how to feel about Mara's attempts on her potion but it was starting to piss her off. She gave a deep breath and let it go before speaking. "Well yes, the golden apples are on the way up to Mount Othyrus so it's not out of our way to go there. There is a dangerous dragon with poisoned claws that Guarda it along with the Hesperides, who are Atlas's daughters. Plus we'd be stealing from Hera's garden. But Atlas would be pleased to be gifted with a apple by his daughters. Like a father's day present."

She smiled and looked at the others, "I mean they also are supposed to be really tasty to God's and Titans. I'm sure he'd be nicer if he got one. The end is far worth the means." She looked at the others. "I'll make sure none of you die. I swear on my life."

Luke Labine | Team 2

Luke smiled friendlily as Mara stood next to him and talked about the Golden Apple task. "I have a feeling Alex isn't done," he said with a grimace. "I know that the golden apple grows from a single tree in Hera's garden. It's guarded by a hundred-headed dragon," he explained, trying to recall the legend.

He laughed as Cassie tried to push his previous frown into a smile, his pale blue eyes meeting her green ones. He felt his heart began to pulse again and a slight blush appearing on his otherwise light cheeks. "A golden apple is better than arriving empty-handed," he told the Athena girl at her Atlas comment.

The Aphrodite boy scowled as Isara promised that none of them would die. He still didn't trust her for some reason, but he was glad that she at least seemed dedicated to the mission. "Trust me. None of you guys are dying on this quest," he added with conviction in his voice, his gaze finding its way towards Cassie before turning towards the rest of the group.

Mara. Team 2

Mara simply chuckled at his words, "Hundred headed dragon? Easy!" she declared with hollow bravado, knowing that a hundred-headed dragon sounded like quite the threat. She heard hollow laughter from Cassie, but she said nothing to explain her strange outburst, so Mara simply shrugged to herself. She heard Isara make her... promise to make sure none of them died. In all truth, she didn't trust Isara, but she trusted her more than she trusted Cassie, and in the end, she supposed that HAD to have meant something. However, she began to frown noticing Luke staring at Cassie, and blushing, and her being the first one he looked at when he was truly promising that he would try to protect them. But... he was just being kind. That was all. That's all it could be anyways. She simply sighed to herself, dissapointed in how... jealous she was becoming, and feeling disappointed that she felt so.. upset over it. "Any of you guys know whether or not someone has taken the Apple before, and how they managed it?" she asked, raising an eyebrow, as she looked around at the lot of them, looking for anyone who might have any idea. She herself could vaguely remember something. Someone had told her that some hero had been here before. Percy Jackson, maybe.

Cassie Hugh, Team 2

Cassie noticed the blush that Luke was starting to get and smiled, raising an eyebrow. Her heartbeat had quickened and she could feel her own face starting to turn pink as their eyes met, but she wasn't sure why. Maybe it was the way he'd looked at her first when he'd promised that no one would die; he'd flirted with her before, but the way Luke acted now felt...different. Cassie could only nod in response to his comment about the golden apple. For some reason, her voice seemed to fail her.

When she had regained her composure, she looked over at Mara. "Y-yeah. I think my sister's boyfriend, Percy Jackson, did it once. Hang on." Cassie reached into her pocket, praying to gods that she'd find what she was looking for. She smiled as her fingers touched cold metal. Sure enough, when she brought her hand back around a golden drachma gleamed in the middle of it. "I think I could get in touch with them; I just need some water..." Her voice trailed off as she looked around the group, hoping someone would conveniently (for some strange reason) happen to have a squirt bottle full of the liquid in their back pack, though Cassie seriously doubted the chances of that happening.

Isara Team 2

Isara glance looked at the ground knowing that they still didn't like her. She bit her lip and felt that she should maybe go on her own. Screw that I'm taking over whimp. Wait what?! Isara looked up at the others with a disinterested look. "Well promise all you want we are going up against a whole 100 headded mister with poison talons thinking we'll make it out unscathed is idiotic." She put her hand in her bag and handed Cassie a water bottle, "the whole point is being prepared for the inevitable."

She flipped her hair back and pulled out some sunglasses, "having everything you could need an thinking things our is the best strategy. The Athena girl should know that." She glanced at Cassie and then used her magic to pull Mara's hair hard.
