"What if we summoned the Chariot of Damnation? You know, the Gray Sister's taxi?" Cassie was barely able to finish her sentence when the Hectate girl announced the same idea. "That little witch," she muttered under her breath. She gritted her teeth, trying not to show her anger. Cassie looked down and noticed that Mara's fists were clenched, and she wondered if Isara had gotten to her too. No, it's probably me... Cassie could feel the tops of her ears starting to turn pink.

Isara Yistar, Team 2

Isara turned and smiled at Cassie, "seems even your ideas are useless." She turned back to Raven, a little sadly she whispered to her. "She threatened me. You know I don't take threats or those who threaten lightly." She rummaged in her bag and pulled out a gold drachma laughing as something licked her fingers. She sighed and looked forward speaking the ancient language. "Stêthi 'Ô hárma diabolês." She flung a golden drachma on the ground.

Luke Labine | Team 2

Luke was curious to hear what Mara wanted to tell him when he heard he sound of Cassie's voice and his attention got redirected onto her. Hearing the Athena girl and the Hecate girl voice the same idea at once, he chuckled a little to himself. "That's a great idea," he said to both of them but glared at Isara when she made a snide comment to Cassie about her useless ideas. "Well actually you guys both had the same idea, so if you're calling hers useless, then doesn't that make yours useless as well?" he retorted, a little annoyed that Isara was still being hostile to his friend.


He noticed that the air had gotten a little tense around Mara and Cassie, but it wasn't anything wasn't used to already. Sighing, he watched Isara speak the ancient language and throw a drachma onto the ground. Soon, a ragged yellow New York cab appeared and three old gray hags as drivers... with one eye to share amongst all of them.

Cassie Hugh, Team 2

Cassie frowned at Isara. Have you forgotten that it was your idea too? You do realize that you called your own idea useless, right? Cassie bit her tongue as she stared at the taxi, making sure not to speak her thoughts. Cassie smiled at Luke when he stood up for her, practically speaking what had just crossed her mind. Well, that was creepy in the coolest way ever... She then moved her eyes back to the taxi. She was a little hesitant about climbing in, remembering what had happened the last time her sister rode in it. Gathering up her courage, she climbed in, placing her backpack on the floor between her feet to provide room for the others; they were going to need it.

Vianca almost protests, but doesn't. Didn't she say they should start in the west? Oh well. That's fine. It's not like it matters either way. Both titans are going to be different, anyway. "Wouldn't he be in the eastern most point of America?" Vianca asks quietly.

Mara. Team 2

Mara clenched her fists, "She's a real bitch, isn't she?" She muttered to Cassie, in a volume only the other girl and Luke could hear, as she watched the taxi appear. As the others got in, she grabbed Luke's hand, holding him back. "Hey... Uh..", she paused, looking up into his eyes, still blushing slightly. "I really like you," she said quietly and honestly, feeling her heart hammering in her chest, filled with nervousness: "I mean, I'm sorry if that's weird to you, or if you don't feel the same, but I had to tell you that. It would distract me during the quest... And if we die, I just wanted to let you know that first," she explained, beginning to ramble a little, looking away as she finished.

Raven ~ Team Two

Raven inwardly sighed at Isara's comment about Cassie, but said nothing. It was gonna be a long quest, and Raven herself seemed to be the only person on good terms with everyone. Luke and Cassie were fine, Isara was fine. She didn't exactly know Mara, but she knew her enough to know they had no real qualms with each other. But as a quadruple, everyone seemed to have something against everyone else.


Turning to the smoky taxi that had popped from the ground, Raven eyes the inside suspiciously. "Are we all gonna fit back here?" She muttered, sliding her backpack off like Cassie and squeezing in beside her. There wasn't really enough room for three or four people, let alone six. But they would all just have to manage, as shoving someone into the trunk wasn't the nicest option.

Alex just watched the group and sighed, Shaking his head. He could see the team was falling apart already, He looked to Luke and shrugged. What could they do to stop the fighting going on.


He sat down and sharpened his arrows as they waited to plan their next move. Between the fighting and the voice in his mind whispering at him, he was on the verge of carrying on alone.

Cassie smiled, glad that she wouldn't have to sit beside Isara. "I don't know," she whispered to Raven. "If worse comes to worst, we can always shove the most annoying person in the trunk." Cassie shrugged, taking a quick look at Isara, before glancing up front. She had told herself she wouldn't, but she did. The three ladies were eyeless, except for the one with the eye. Their hollow eye sockets seemed to bore into Cassie so she quickly turned away, shuddering.

Alex saw the three strangers and shuddered as well before coming to stand next to Cassie and putting an arm around her he looked at them warily. He knew he should not over react but they still did not set well with him.He felt a sharp stab in his mind and winced, grabbing Cassie's a from the sheer pain and just as quickly as it happened it was gone again

Luke Labine | Team 2

Luke was about to step into the taxi with everyone else when he was held back by Mara. He listened intently to what she was saying, his heart almost skipping a beat. He didn't realize how happy those words made him feel until now. The Aphrodite boy was so speechless that it seemed like all the words flew out of his brain. He was scared of admitting his feelings- he didn't want to get hurt which was a real possibility if he made himself emotionally vulnerable.


Finally, he managed to get a hold of his words but it didn't exactly come out in a way that he wanted. "Mara... I don't know what to say.. I like you but I'm not sure of my feelings, I don't know what it's like to like someone.. I just.. my heads a mess," he managed to splurt out. His heart was pounding so loudly so that he was surprised everyone in their team couldn't hear it. For the second that day, he was somehow at a loss of words again. "Mara, you're not going to die. I'm going to make sure if it," he added more firmly before giving her a small smile and climbing into the taxi.

Once he had regained his composure, he realized how cramped the taxi really was. "Anyone want to sit on my lap?" he joked uncomfortably as he was squished into a stuffy little cab clearly not meant for all of them. Not to mention that the old hags at the front made him a little nervous about the safety of this ride.

He chuckled and sat in next to Luke, ready to allow one of the girls sit on his lap

Raven ~ Team Two

Raven had a feeling she was going to be doing a lot of sighing during the quest. She liked Cassie well enough, but she wasn't going to dislike Isara just because the Athenian did.


At Luke's suggestion of lap-sitting, she rolled her eyes. "You just want a girl to sit on your lap, Luke. Though it isn't the worst idea you've ever come up with, I will admit... It would conserve space, which we dearly need..." She didn't much like the idea, but it might be their only option if they all wanted to fit.

Mara. Team 2

Mara's smile faded, and she simply stood there, confused at his words. "I... Yeah..." She said, shaking her head. "I know what you mean, it's alright." she said quietly. However, once he was finished speaking, she simply threw her arms around him in a hug, holding him there, her head near his shoulder. After a second or two, she stepped back, looking away. He said he liked me... She thought to herself, feeling conflicted. Then what did the rest of it mean? He was unsure of his feelings, and didn't know what it was like to like someone, according to what he said. But she moved into the car, taking A seat beside him, still attempting to figure out what he had told her. But for now, she would simply deal with it. At the very least, it did feel a lot better to have gotten it off her shoulders.

Alex sighed at all the standing around, looking around he spoke


"Can we get into the taxi and get this show on the road"


He looked around at the group and saw how quiet they were, once they stopped for the night people could talk and sort themselves out.


He looked down at his hands and said no more about it

Cassie Hugh, Team 2

Cassie had been surprised when Alex had walked up and simply put his arm around her. Then, when he'd tightly grabbed her arm... She had wanted to pull away, but figured that something had bothered him and he needed some comfort.


Cassie was absolutely squished. She was becoming very acquainted with the car door, and she could feel her ribs being squeezed. Cassie was very tempted to take Luke up on his offer, but she knew him well enough to know that he was joking. Even if he wasn't, she was sure that Mara wouldn't like that very much. Cassie shifted in her seat, attempting to get into a more comfortable position, but quickly found that it was impossible. She sighed, a little frustrated, but she decided not to let it bother her too much.

Alex could see that Cassie was uncomfortable, Since he was already sitting down he pulled Cassie over to his lap.


" I hope this taxi ride is over soon, everything hurts right now"


He winced as someone else's shoulder hit him.

Luke wrapped his arms around Mara when she gave him a hug. He kissed her quickly and lightly on top of her head before entering the taxi.


His face turned into a scowl as he was thrown left and right in the cramped little space. Sighing, he gave Raven an amused look before picking her up and putting her on his lap. "Much better!" he exclaimed as more space was made. He figured that having Raven sit on his lap would be the safest option amongst all of them.

Cassie's eyes became wide as she was hauled across the seat and placed in Alex's lap. She looked over at Raven and laughed as she was placed in Luke's lap. She leaned over and whispered so no one could hear, "Wanna switch?" There was amusement in her voice; she didn't expect her question to be taken seriously.


Cassie then turned her attention back to the son of Apollo. "Um...thanks. The door was getting a little friendly over there." She smiled down at Alex.

Alex chuckled at Cassie before being nudged again in the ribs by someone


"It's cool don't worry about it, besides I get to be closer to my lukey"


He playfully put his head on Luke's shoulder and let out a contented sigh before snorting.Looking over at Mara he gave a playful wink to show he was only joking

Mara only smiled, consumed by her own thought, noticing as Raven say on Luke's lap, although she continued to be silent. She stared at the back of the seat in front of her, ignoring the three hags, worried for the quest ahead of her.

Luke laughed as he watched Alex pull Cassie into his lap and playfully scowled as he lay his head onto Lukes shoulder. "Man I really hope you don't usually snore that loudly or else no one here is getting any sleep," he joked, glad that the tension in the group had dissolved. He noticed Mara's silence and gave her a little nudge, flashing her a comforting smile. He knew that she was probably worried about the quest

Cassie then laughed at his comment about Alex's snoring. "You can say that again! I'm tired enough already, and I don't have anyone else in my cabin. If you keep me up with your snoring, I might not be able to be Luke's alarm clock every morning!" She again smiled down at Alex. Cassie felt a lot better now.

Mara atleast managed to smile a little back at him. "You having fun there, Luke?" She asked, raising an eyebrow, before scooting a little closer, leaning against him, leaning her head on his shoulder, grinning.

Isara Yistar, Team 2

Isara gave Luke a dark look at his snide comment but, then suddenly smiled. She didn't say anything, but turned her head away from him. Take your number, it will be one hell of a ride. Isara sighed as the group complained at the small amount of people who can fit into the cab. She had her ideas, but didn't trust a few people to be neat her personal posessions. She sneered at Cassie's pathetic attempt of s insult. "Oooo I'm hurt. The failure hates me." Don't call her that we should try to be nice. No, the further they are the less we will feel. Besides they are worthless anyway, let me play. Isara sighed and combed her fingers through her hair.


Catching the few bits of Luke and Mara's conversation. Now what a cute tidbit, nice. Isara watched as everyone got in and slammed the misty door closed on them. She leaned into the window frame and smiled bashfully. Her voice came out calm and sweet, "Hey, is eveyone somewhat comfortable? You all fitting in well?" She looked at eveyone with concern.
