Fandom Percy Jackson Roleplay

"What is your choice weapon?" Amanda asked and than said,"At least you have powers all I have is brains and trust me I want powers more."

"Powers are useless if you don't know how to use them.", I said dismissively, "And I wouldn't let your mom hear that if I were you. Also, swords and bows and arrows.".

"Well its not like Athena pays attention anyway," Amanda replied,"Should I show you around camp before going to Rachel's cave? And how do you know about camp?"

"My Mom's the Goddess of Magic and Sorcery. I scry camp a lot, just to keep up with the times. You know, see what fashion trends are in, who's dating who...", I explained, tactfully not mentioning that Mom's also the Goddess of trivial knowledge.

"And your mother is goddess of Trivial Knowledge," Amanda said,"If you want you can help Annabeth, Percy, and I make battle plans."

Curses. Foiled again. But wait...

"Sure. Also, so you're you saying knowledge about Camp is trivial?", I asked with a teasing smile, glancing at her with a raised eyebrow.

I sighed good naturedly; she didn't take the bait. Pity..."Anyways, yeah. Swords and archery. Though if you have other things to do, like, oh I don't know, go swimming at the beach, going for picnics, I'll understand.", I assured.

"I'm trying to give you a hint.", I said flatly, "Forget something, princess? Perhaps a certain event you were supposed to go to? With food. And a boy. By the lake.". Gods, people really seemed dense when scrying let you know nearly everything.

"Well I am leave camp right now anyway," Amanda said as she went to the Athena cabin and started to pack things into a small backpack.

Amanda rushed out of the cabin with her dagger (that was a charm on her charm bracelet), her sword (another charm on her charm bracelet), and her shield (which had an owl on it and it was another charm on her bracelet) and her backpack slung onto her shoulder.

"I dunno.", I shrugged, "Maybe you might need to pick up some weapons or armor. Or maybe dig up a secret cache of magic items you buried in the forest for just this eventuality."

(How to defeat Gaea, maybe? Or maybe just stop her forces? Also, I might cut out randomly; have to drive home for the entire day tomorrow, starting today.)

I stared around in awe at the most awesome cave I had ever seen in my entire life. Seriously, Apollo was amazing at keeping his Oracle comfortable. "Wow. Nice place.", I breathed, startled out of my reverie by girl-I-assumed-was-Rachel's annoyed, "Yeah, it has everything Except for a door. For knocking.". "Eh heh...right. Sorry.", I apologized sheepishly.

(Its okay dont worry. I dont mind. How about she defeats Gaea but something bad happens to Amanda))

"Uh Rachael we need a prophecy," Amanda said.

"Yes, because I can just order a prophecy like a pizza.", she dismissed with mild annoyance, and I made an inference. "I'm guessing this isn't the first time you've been asked that?", I questioned, and she laughed sardonically. "More like three hundred first. Gods, it's like I'm a fortune teller.", she complained.

(Like what? Dad gets hurt and put into a coma? She gets cursed by some vengeful Titan? Magic gone awry sends her back into the past?)

"Well Rachael you pretty much know the prophecy about the earth slayer," Amanda said

(Protecting someone she loves. Self sacrifice basically)

"The who what now?", Rachel questioned in confusion, but then her eyes widened as she began to exude mist. "Oh, I really hate that you were able to do thissssssss...", she trailed off, the Oracle's voice slowly replacing her own as her spirit raced up from the Underworld to possess the girl. Now, sure, I was the son of the Goddess of magic, and sure, Mom had some pull with necromancy, but still...

This was creepy.

"Girl of wisdom and magic's son,

To the East they must run.

Accompanied by sunlight's heir

Wisdom must take a deal unfair.

Mother Earth and Father Sky

To hinder you, they will try.

At the edge of the world you will find,

A way to, Mother Earth, bind."

She recited the prophecy quickly, me scrambling to jot it down on a hastily-conjured notepad, before the Oracle vacated her host and retreated to the Underworld. Rachel shuddered and stumbled, blinking her eyes as she refocused on us, and after a moment she found her voice.

"I feel like tacos.", I she said matter-of-factly, and of course I had to reply, "I prefer hamburgers myself.".
