Fandom Percy Jackson Roleplay

"Well," Amanda said,"We can ask Rachel together... But if there is a quest for me I will pick you and one of my other friends."

"And if it's for me, I'll pick you and one of your friend you choose.", I promised, an odd feeling welling up in me at the word 'friend'. She...considered me a friend? ...Bah, emotions! So confusing. I gave her a smile and flicked my hand towards the doors to fling them open, gesturing to them and saying, "Well, after you.".

I gave her an odd look, then facepalmed. "Nevermind.", I muttered. Most people would be distraught at the news of their father being kidnapped. Maybe she wasn't on the best of terms with him...?

"You are thinking that I am not in good terms with my father," Amanda replied with a flicker of anger (which was not noticeable) in her voice.

I blinked, somewhat expecting this yet, then gave a shrug and allowed, "Possibly. You could also just be very level-headed and calm, focusing on rescuing your father instead of letting your emotions get in the way of your performance in battle.".

I smiled in relief. "Well, that's good. In our kind of life it pays to be careful, and other demigods aren't so lucky.", I said, my smile turning to a scowl at the memory of the last person I'd gotten close to. That home visit had been...eventful.

"Its okay," Amanda said and she smiled softly,"Nothing bad will happen to me. We are in like the safest place in the country. Remember, I am a daughter of Athena and I have been through much worse things than you. So dont worry."

"You know, that's something you should never say. To, like, anybody.", I said conversationally, "What if they went through worse things than you?".

"Well I can tell that you moved around alot," Amanda said and then she said in a whisper,"At least you dont have a father that disowned you and that hates your guts so much."

I narrowed my eyes suspiciously and hummed disbelievingly, "Uh huh.", but then shrugged and said, "Eh, your business not mine.".

"Welcome to Camp," Amanda said as the walked outside of the Big House and she twisted her Camp Half-Blood necklace (which had 7 beads on it),"Let me guess, you will be staying at camp year round, like me?"

"Sure, why not?", I agreed amicably, "Like you said, this is the safest place for demigods. 'Cept perhaps Camp Jupiter.".

"I can teach you how to fight with a weapon," Amanda said,"Because you cannot always rely on your powers in battle, after all."
