Takumi Calix

Sitting within a large white room that had nothing more than a simple small television upon the wall along with a dresser, T.V dinner table and a twin-sized bed against one side of the room was a young male cloaked completely from head to toe in a large white hooded open trench coat-like outfit. The hooded male had been resting upon the mattress of the bed with his back pressed against the wall behind him while both of his arms had been wrapped around his knees which had been pressed against his own chest. The male's head had been lowered against his own legs as anyone that would've decided to step into the room would've been unable to see his face in anyway whatsoever; luckily though, barely anyone had ever actually stepped into this male's room both in fear of him as well as the fact of how cold it was within the interior of the room itself. The room was properly designed by many of the greatest minds of scientists upon the large space station to fit the male's condition needs so that his health would remain as it was. As the male sat there, next to him; upon his mattress was a small violin made out of ebony wood, it had been a gift from his commanding officer before the mission the two of them had gone on had cost the CO his life in the end. Ever since that day, the hooded male had never dared let anything happen to the instrument as he had cherished it as his own; the woman was nearly the only other person upon the entire station hat hadn't treated the male like he was some kind of freak compared to the other humans. Just because his arm was the way it was, it didn't mean he still wasn't human on the inside with functioning organs and a soul just like everyone else had.

Simply continuing to remain silent as the hooded male soon turned his head to one side to take a glimpse of his/his instrument with his dark ocean blue gaze from underneath his white hood. The instant the sound of an intercom sounding off within his room had immediately caused the hooded male to raise his head towards the sound.
'Agent Takumi Calix. Report to briefing room X001 immediately.' Being informed of where he was required to go at that very moment, the hooded male would simply give a nod of his head before slowly slipping himself off of his mattress and straight upon his own two bare feet. There was no doubt about it, there was another mission to scout another area for corruption once again. Clenching both of his fists, the young male named as Takumi Calix immediately progressed his way towards the large metal door that would've lead him out of his room. Unlocking the restraints and locks upon the door before letting it open on it's own; the male was lead out to a large busy street of many citizens who lived within the station as they went upon their own business of what they were doing. Slowly blending himself into the crowd of citizens with his head down, the hooded male progressed his way to head towards the large elevator that would lead him down towards the lower levels of the station where his meeting was to be held. Luckily, the door that had lead into Takumi's room was automated to close once he had left it's area.

The elevator that he had been required to take had been near the back of one of the market districts of the station; of course, there were many other locations throughout the station that could easily lead any operative to any section of the government if they had the proper clearance to enter. Warframes were allowed special access to certain parts due to their rank overstepping those of many politicians as well. Once stepping into the elevator, the hooded male would end up pulling his white hood down to reveal his nearly shoulder length hair and his dark blue hues of his eyes. His hair had been normally always combed over to one side, making sure to leave the length of it even upon each side however keeping his left ear revealed to have two earrings; one pierced at the bottom of his ear while the other nearly the top of it. Standing there with his face now fully recognized by the cameras within the elevator, the entire elevator itself would begin to shake as it lowered the male down to the lower levels of the station just as it was built to do so for Warframes. Clearly enough, knowing his face by the scanning of the cameras; once the elevator would drop Takumi off into the proper briefing room, there was no doubt his suit would be fully prepared for him against one of the walls, charged and ready along with his weaponry.

Standard issue, it was a word overwhelmingly familiar with 0135-Kelly. Standard issue was something she was comfortable with, right down to the 6 inch military issue bunk mattress and the flat steel grey walls. A large percentage of Kelly's life was spent staring at the ceiling of a standard issue military living quarters and if she was honest with herself, that was the way she liked it.

Kelly sat up from her spot on the bed, letting her crown of chestnut hair fall limply at the sides of her face, tickling her cheeks. She brushed a stray lock behind her ear and stood up, walking over to her army green Hardigg and stripping down. It was always such a mission to put on her underskin, more often she opted not to remove it at all, besides, the nano technology built into the gel-like undersuit was responsible for the cleaning of the skin and the body beneath it. For all she knew, it was more hygienic to keep wearing it, but after all the weird looks she received from others it was better to just remove it.

"0135. Report to the briefing room immediately." The static voice from the intercom echoed off the walls of her room, making her wince slightly at the volume. She managed to clip on her last piece of armor before grabbing her helmet, tucking it under her arm and vacating the room. With a lout hiss, the door closed behind her and all that could be heard were the heavy footsteps of a soldier.

Takumi Calix

After a few mere minutes had finally passed by, Takumi had eventually arrived at his destination as the large metallic elevator doors soon slid upwards with a loud mechanical bang; revealing before him a large room that held multiple suits spread across the wall in front of him along with a round table in the center of the room. The white haired male would only give an arch of his brow towards the sight of this as he approached the interior of the dark room itself, the fact that his suit awaited it's user was of no surprise to Takumi, however the other suits within the room were of something that made the male rather curious about what exactly was going on. Normally, within briefing rooms there had always only been suits that were prepared for that exact mission that was given to those who were assigned on the task. Ever since Takumi had lost his entire squad along with his own CO, he had always been assigned onto missions on his own since no other Warframes had wished to go on any kind of mission with someone who had their right arm corrupted by the same enemy they were currently fighting. Obviously enough, he had not questioned command about this and as he had stepped up towards the round table; a large green holographic image appeared before the male; it had been the sight of some kind of large battleship that had been looked as though it had been abandoned. Determining on the markings on the ship, it was one that was from the actual military of the station that weren't from the government which designed the Warframes.

"What is this command..?" As Takumi had spoken up, the male voice could be heard coming from the holographic image of the ship as it was the commanding area speaking. 'Not yet Takumi. We are awaiting for another to arrive before full briefing will be done. You're not going alone on this one son.' As the male voice spoke, Takumi had remained completely silent about the whole fact that he was possibly being given a new squad to join him on another mission. The young male was never one to disobey orders nor reject any assistance from anyone that was willing to work with him; all he had ever asked was that those he worked with never actually try to kill him on purpose, just because of his arm.

With a loud metallic hiss, the elevator doors opened to the Briefing Room. Kelly examined the room quickly, her retinal augments working double time in sending the relevant data to her Neural Storage. At the end of the room next to the Large holographic table stood an unknown male. Raising an eyebrow inquisitively, she made her way to the table with heavy footsteps, after all, she weighed close to two times the amount of a fully grown adult male in her Frame. Eventually she stood next to the new face and locked eyes with the holographic projection, she snapped into a salute.

"Sergeant Major 0135-Kelly, reporting for duty Sir!" she stood at attention like it was natural state for her. Like thousands of salutes identical to this had happened in situations identical to now.

While the white haired male awaited for whoever that was going to join him upon this mission to arrive, Takumi had ended up slipping both of his palms into his pockets for a moment or so. Soon enough, once the sound of the metallic doors behind him had opened up once more to reveal the woman that was going to probably be the one joining Takumi on this mission, he would simply turn his head over his shoulders to watch as she had stepped into the room and approached the table herself. Watching as to how the woman saluted towards the holographic form of the ship upon the table, Takumi had remained silent before returning his dark blue gaze towards the briefing. 'Good. You have both arrived. Takumi. This will be your squad mate; Sergeant Major 0135-Kelly, and this shall be your squad mate on this mission; Colonel Takumi Calix. On this mission, since it will be the two of you. Ranking shall not be taken into consideration, it will be up to you what you two decide to do. The mission is simple, we had found a radio transmission from the Legacy ship before you asking for immediate assistance. However, the transmission had never reached command until now. Your job is to infiltrate the ship and find out what had happened to the crew. Any life on the ship is first priority; second objective is to bring the ship into docking if possible. If the ship is containmated, your orders are to destroy the ship and any possible infected life on it. Do I make myself clear?' As the male voice poke and stated the mission for the two Warframes, the white haired male immediate gave a salute of his own before nodding his head immediately right after. "Sir yes, sir." Those being the only words to leave Takumi's lips as the entire room would immediately start to shake and tremble after receiving their orders.

In a matter of mere seconds, the entire section of the briefing room had been detached from the station itself before it would immediately blast straight off into the unknown space towards the destination of the ship named as 'Legacy'. The entire time as the small craft headed it's way there, Takumi had been silent as he progressed his way to begin suiting himself up into his own armor for the time being.

Kelly placed her helmet on her head quickly, the latches on the neck flipping over and fastening with a quick hiss as the suit depressurized. She immediately walked over to the makeshift armory at the back of the room, stumbling somewhat as the room shuddered from the sudden burst of speed. She picked out a Braton and a Lex, snapping the Braton to the Mag-lock on her back and doing the same to the Lex on her thigh.

"Colonel Calix huh?" Kelly's voice filtered through the Warframes COMMs unit. "Honor to be working with you Sir." She saluted to his turned back, flicking her wrist before returning to the armory table. She rifled through different bullet casings, picking her ammunition out and loading it into a supply of gun cartridges she'd acquired from her personal storage. Kelly was not the type of girl who liked to run out of ammo, especially not on a capital class ship (correct me if im wrong :3).

While his new squad mate had been preparing herself for any possible encounters that they might receive upon the large ship that could've been hostile. Takumi had been suiting himself up by unlatching the many hooks upon his suit that had kept it attached to the wall itself. Taking down each part of his armor to end up slipping it onto each of his limbs one piece at a time, Takumi had made sure to slip on his helmet last just as every other Warframe was taught at the basics to slip on last. Once doing so, the loud sound of the hissing from the base of the neck of the suits locking together firmly to avoid any possible outside air from entering into the suit had echoed throughout the room before the hud from within helmet would begin to clearly light up to reveal a full sighting of everything before him. Indicating his objective upon the right side of his hud while the vital signs and name of his squad mate had been upon the left; Takumi had listened as to how the woman before him even stated that it was an honor to be fighting alongside him on this mission. Simply giving a warm smile of his own from underneath his helmet, the young male would end up pulling the hood of his suit over the helmet before turning his gaze over towards her and giving a nod of his head.
"As it is an honor to be with you as well Miss Kelly. No need to call me sir or anything. You can call me Takumi if you wish, you heard command. Ranking isn't going to be a big part of this mission." As Takumi stated his own words, he would end up progressing to the opposite end of the room as to where the woman had received her weaponry from the armory. Command had known well enough that Takumi never enjoyed searching through multiple different choices for weapons and always wished to keep his own gear in one section where he could simply grab it all at once and know it was all prepared for him already.

Approaching a large wall, the instant the area had scanned that it was indeed the proper warframe that had approached; the wall itself would open up a small section to reveal two sheathed long katana blades that had been facing in complete opposite ends from one another. The material from it was nearly pitch black as the suited male soon took each of the two before fastening them firmly against the magnetic holsters onto each of his sides of his hip. Second, there had been a large dark purple and black quiver bow that had been hanging upon the wall right above from where he had grabbed his melee weapons from. Gripping a hold of his ranged weapon, the male had tested the durability of his energy string to make sure it was still in good condition before confirming it and holstering this as well, straight onto his back. Soon after doing so, a small alarm would go off as it indicating for the two Warframes within the shuttle that they were nearing their destination; soon enough, the hologram of the ship coming into view would appear upon the round table as Takumi brought his gaze onto it. Shifting his dark gaze between the ship and his squad mate, he would give her a nod of confirmation before gripping firmly upon the table to prepare themselves for the insertion.
"Are you ready..?"

(This'll have to be the last post for me tonight..x.x I'm horribly sick..and I really didn't think I was doing this bad..i seriously need some rest. Soo ill post again tomorrows. xox nini)

Her fingers clasped around the edge of the table, she could hear the stretching of her gloves around the steel surface. This was it, her heartbeat slowed down as she calmed herself for what could be a heated drop, she did not want to be taken by surprise. "I'm ready when you are." The static crackle of her voice blared from the Comms again. She was itching for a fight but something in her mind was telling her not to go looking for it, this was still a mission that required some form of subtlety.

As the small shuttle had neared the large capital battleship that they had approached with each passing second, the suited male had prepared for the impact of their shuttle to end up crashing into the ship. Since the large battleship was simply adrift at this point with no real course in mind; the hanger bay doors were completely sealed off, there was no real other choice other than to completely ram into the hanger doors and enter the large area by force. Just as the sound of his ally stating that she was ready indeed, the immediate next second passing would've been plain tumbles and loud crashing of metal being ripped apart until the skidding of metal came across the floor of the hanger room. Luckily though, even with the ship practically out of power; there had been enough stored extra power within the large battleship to close up the large gap of which the shuttle had created once it rammed through the double doors to keep the vacuum of space in space where it belonged. "We're here.." Speaking up through the same comm. channel as the woman, soon enough; Takumi would've released his grip upon the table as he progressed his way to leave the shuttle from the back entrance and hop out and onto the cold metal ground of his surroundings. Switching his hud into night-vision sight; with everything practically being a bright and dark green color, Takumi scanned the room for any possible life signs of both enemies or possibly hiding survivors of the ship itself. With not even the slightest movement or sound going on within the packed hanger that held cargo as far as the eye could see, Takumi exhaled a low sigh as he shook his head. "At least the artificial gravity is still functioning.." Speaking to himself about what he could gather from simply stepping first into the ship's interior; the suited male would begin to wander around the surrounding of the hanger to await for his female companion to be the next to step out before they would actually begin to head throughout the entire ship.

The entire time he scanned the hanger while he explored the multiple different cargo the battleship held; the fact that the cargo was ammunition was clear enough that they had indeed landed on the proper ship after-all.
"Kelly. This ship is really big. We're probably going to need to go separate ways. Report anything you find at all, I'll do the same." As Takumi replied, he simply stood before one of the large crates of ammunition while he began to search through the databanks of any ordinary capital battleship to see if it was possible that this ship was still designed the same way as any other ship would've been. If so, this was going to be one long mission to search for survivors and if the ship had any possible dangers on it at all.

"Affirmative." She grabbed her Braton from her holster. She took a few testing steps towards Takumi and then nodded in confirmation. "Ill keep you posted if I find anything." Tentatively, she began towards a set of blast doors that may lead towards a service corridor, perhaps, if her hunch was anything to go by, a lot of survivors barricaded themselves in maintenance areas due to its durable and resilient stability. Apart from the chance of the ships fusion core destabilizing, but that was the last of her worries. "I'm going to search for the Maintenance Wing, do you have any Intel on its whereabouts?" The Comm channel buzzed as she left Takumi's immediate contact area, hopefully there wasn't any factors that would cut off communication between them. She rounded a corner, rifle pointed at head height. 'Its dark as hell in here' Kelly fired up her suit's flashlight and progressed further down the corridor.

Once the woman had stepped out from the shuttle only to state just what had been expected of many Warframes that were more focused upon the actual military ways of the new found government; Takumi would've simply given a nod of his head as he soon took notice of how the woman progressed her way immediately for a separate door to go into. With the sight of this, Takumi had spent several minutes of his time within the hanger bay as he constantly searched around each of the crates of supplies that was held within the room; maybe something that the ship was carrying could've caused it to go into this state. As the male searched behind and around each of the crates though, all that was seen in the end was simply more and more ammunition that would've been used for fighting against enemy ships or any possible invaders that might've been within deep space that they hadn't been known of. Right as Takumi had prepared to leave the hanger to head towards the a pair of blast doors that would've lead him to a separate hall; the instant the sound of the comm. going off within his hud had caught Takumi's attention for a only a moment. Listening to the question as to where the maintenance wing of the ship could've been; the hooded male had gone through his memory of how he knew the ship before he would actually decide to relay any kind of information as to where the location she was searching for. "It should be near the opposite end of the ship from where we crashed into. Same floor level as we're on at the hanger. Be cautious. We still know nothing of what happened to this ship. For all we know, there can be hostiles hiding around every corner. Stay alert." With those last words leaving his lips, he would simply progress his way down the hall as he silently turned his head from one side to the next; his dark green vision scanning for any possible life signs of anyone that might've been alive anywhere throughout the ship or if there was any possible sign of at least trying to start up any backup power source if possible.

Traveling down one corridor after another as well as heading up a few staircases; Takumi had hoped to be able to
be able to at least reach the bridge of the ship. From there, if he could at least get some kind of back up power restored to the ship; maybe he could get an idea of what had occurred through the security footage. Just as Takumi had continued to near the bridge with each passing minute, he would soon end up coming across what looked to be a strange black and green spotted material that had been growing off of the walls surrounding him. The closer and closer he got to the bridge, the thicker and more of the strange material seemed to had grown on the walls around him. Debating the thought that the material could've been none other than the corruption itself taken over the ship, rather than even giving thought to touching it and taking a risk of being infected if it was the corruption; Takumi simply continued on his way ever closer towards the bridge. "Kelly. Watch your footing, there is some kind of weird stuff growing on the walls, floor and ceiling. I'm not sure what this is...it doesn't look like the corruption. This is strange...watch for danger. If this is the corruption...there's no doubt, they sure have advanced quite a bit since the last time. Make sure all survivors aren't infected before you come into contact, they might be trying to trick you into believing they're still human." As Takumi informed his ally about the situation; the closer the male grew towards the ship's bridge, the more static and much more difficult it seemed to get to hear anything off of the comm. channel. Was there something jamming their signal. Although what he had told her about those who were infected by the corruption might try to fool her thoughts about how they might act as human when they were infected, Takumi obviously continued to hide the fact that his arm was still infected to this day. Luckily, the interior of his suit was nearly a freezer to keep the corruption from spreading.

Lowering her gun for a moment, Kelly took a knee, putting her gloved hand to her helmet. "Takumi, there's a lot of static interference currently, you're breaking up." Kelly brought her gun to sight again and scanned the corridor, eyeing a terminal on the wall next to a door. "Rayleigh, are you operational?" Kelly waited a few moments as her subroutines booted up.

"Yes Sir! I mean..uh.. Ma'am!"
An image of a female, clad in what looked to be plaid skirt and blouse appeared on her HUD. "What'cha need Boss?"

"Rayleigh, I need you to patch in to that terminal and find the source of this interference." Kelly's voice was relatively even albeit, slightly annoyed. Rayleigh was a Personal Artificial Warframe Intelligence Module, a ditsy one at that, but she was resourceful and handy. Kelly walked over to the terminal and made quick contact with the keypad, as soon as she did a transfer sequence initiated on her HUD. She took a knee again and waited a few moments for Rayleigh to report back, which didn't take long.

"Boss, we have a problem. There is corrupted code everywhere, like the power was shut down before the flight data was copied to the backup systems." Rayleigh's image appeared on her HUD looking quite exasperated. "Would you like me to contact Takumi? The pathways to his area of the ship are clear, apart from a few security road blocks which.... No problem fer' a gal like me, huh?"

"Affirmative Rayleigh, but keep your COMMS open. I don't want any surprises." Kelly stood from her knee and proceeded further down the hallway, gun still at eye level.

Takumi Calix

Wandering throughout each of the corridors after he had informed his ally of the current situation about the strange black matter that had been practically around every corner. Each time Takumi had tried to get into contact with the woman, all he would end up overhearing was plain static in the end. Exhaling a deep sigh at the fact of this, he simply continued on his way to reach the bridge of the ship. After only moments of his constant walking, the male had ended up reaching what was the elevator that would've lead up to the bridge in the end. Staring at the elevator before extending his right arm to press the up button on the switch; right before his finger had actually ended up touching the button, the immediate sound of a female voice ended up speaking to him through his comm. channel. It was none other than one of the shared artificial intelligence that had normally been shared through the Warframe system; her name was Rayleigh. Arching a brow as to how she had ended up making an appearance right before his hud, Takumi had pulled his hand from the switch simply to give her his attention. "What is it Rayleigh?" As the male spoke towards the AI form within his hud, she would quickly give the male a salute in a sort of way to report what she had known from the last conversation she had with Kelly. "Sir. We have some bad news. The power throughout the ship was shut down by corrupted data...right before the ship could get any actual copies of anything that had happened before the complete shut down of the systems." As the artificial intelligence had informed the Takumi of the situation at hand, he wouldn't be able to help himself but to let another deep sigh escape his lips as he shook his head in response to the whole fact. "So...we can't get any data of what happened. Rayleigh. Report to Kelly and have you and her check on the life support systems from the maintenance bay. If the ship truly is shut down, I will not be able to get anything functioning at the bridge. See if you and her and get any back up power started and see if you can check if any emergency life support systems were activated after the shut down. If so, see if they are still running; if not, check how long they've been off." As Takumi had given the orders towards the AI, the female intelligence nodded her head before returning to the other Warframe pilot.

All the while, Takumi had ended up finally pressing the button that would've lead up towards the bridge. The instant he had pressed the button, as expected; not a single sound of the machinery actually lowering the elevator came throughout the corridor however, the echoing sounds of what seemed to be distorted growling and gargling could be heard coming from behind the male. Rather than completely turning his entire body to face the sound; Takumi had simply turned his head over his shoulders slightly to take a glimpse as to what was approaching him. Just as expected; soon enough, the large bulges upon the flooring and walls had ended up pulsating and throbbing after the male had ended up pressing the button, in a matter of seconds; a large pop from the bulge would end up revealing what looked to be a completely distorted black and green spotted black goop creature as it drooled acid upon the metal plating of the ship's ground only to begin to carefully and slowly approach Takumi from where he stood.
"So..they have advanced huh..?" With those only words; Takumi had quickly ended up gripping the handle of his bow upon his back before fully turning his attention towards the incoming corrupted creatures. Pulling back upon the energy string to form the arrow within his grasp; the Warframe aimed straight for the head of the creature to see if these creatures would drop just as how the rest of them should've.

Shining her flashlight down the blackened corridor, Kelly noticed the familiar yellow and black stripes of hazardous floor markings. She was getting close to the maintenance area. Suddenly a small electrical POP from yet another door terminal echoes through the empty corridor.

"Boss, its me." Rayleigh's voice sounded through her COMMs system. "Takumi, needs SITREP on the life support systems and backup power."

Kelly slapped her hand down on the Terminal pad and a small spark followed by yet another electrical POP sounded in the hallway. "Affirmative Rayleigh." Kelly raised her rifle again and made her way towards the Emergency systems bay of the Maintenance wing. Getting closer to her destination, she began to notice the matter Takumi had addressed in his broken COMMs message. "Rayleigh, scan it."

"Got it." After a few moments, Rayleigh's diagnostics scan was complete, signalled with an audible BEEP. "Boss, its a life-form, definitely alien, and its movement pattern suggests hostile. I suggest evasive maneuvers!" As Rayleigh's image left her HUD, Kelly found the goop had began to rise from the pools and splatters it had littered the walls and floor with and began on her location, double time.

Kelly jumped backwards as one of the creatures spat a ball of acid at her feet, judging by its trajectory, would've hit her right in the chest. She reached over her back and re-clipped her Braton, going to her thigh for her Lex and taking a few testing shots at its torso. The creature recoiled somewhat, but seemed generally unaffected by the gun. "Maybe something with a bit more punch." She replaced her Lex and armed herself with her trusty Braton again, aiming this time for the creatures head. Direct hit! The hostile hit the ground with a gurgled thud, but before Kelly could congratulate herself for a successful kill; another had spouted from the wall. Damn.

"Rayleigh, divert shield power to long range scanners. Get me a path to the Systems bay." Kelly growled to the AI.

"On it boss!" As soon as Rayleigh confirmed the order, Kelly's shields shut down. "25 feet due north, left corner, 30 feet west, right door. Is that all sweetness?" Rayleigh quipped playfully, earning a small smirk from the Soldier.

"Affirmative Rayleigh." Within seconds Kelly's sheilds were recharging, albeit slowly, she didn't like being vulnerable like this.

Takumi Calix

After his shot had made contact with the corrupted form of goop at it's excuse for a head; the sight of how the creature simply dropped to the ground before turning into nothing more than it's original material of simply being nothing more than goop. Seeing this, right as soon as the first one had been taken down; the sight of many more deciding to make an appearance from all around the strange material that had been upon the walls, ground and ceiling were nothing more than a usual sight for the corrupted beings. Realizing well enough now that the ship was most likely contaminated with the corruption; Takumi couldn't simply stand there and fight off these creatures forever, there was only so much one Warframe could do and if these things ended up getting their things considered as hands onto the male's right arm from underneath his suit; he was most likely going to be unable to hold back the corruption from fully taking over the rest of his body in an instant. So rather than simply standing there and waiting for the enemies to grow in closer, Takumi had holstered his own bow upon his back once more before unsheathing a single one of his blades that he had at his hips. Without a second wasted, the suited male quickly slashed against the sealed doors that would've lead into the elevator before lifting his gaze upwards towards the door that would've lead him into the bridge. "Alright. Just need to get there now.." As the male spoke to himself about the sight of where he was needed at the moment, even if Takumi had gotten up there; without the back up power, if there was any; restored, it wasn't like he was going to be able to much of anything. With the sight of his current objective right above him and the closing in of his enemies; the male Warframe quickly held out his free arm that hadn't been holding onto his blade. Without so much a single moment sooner, a pair of chains had extended from the sides of his wrists as they quickly shot themselves up towards the malfunctioning door of the bridge. Retracting those same exact chains simply to force the male up towards the large room that had been the bridge, this would've caused many of the corrupted beings from below to accidentally trip themselves over the edge and collapse to the bottom of the elevator shaft while the others were actually quite smart enough to hop upon the walls of the interior of the shaft to begin crawling themselves upwards.

Noticing this, Takumi couldn't help but exhale an annoyed sigh at the sight of this. Just as expected, these corrupted beings were much more advanced to be as smart as to do something like this rather than give up or find another way up. However, no matter how smart they seemed to be; they were never any match for a Warframe's intelligence in the end. Without a moment's notice, Takumi had quickly cut the wires that had held the elevator in place before causing the pure weight of the large container for the elevator to come rushing downwards the full shaft to practically squish those who had tried to climb up the entire elevator shaft in general. Knowing well enough this would not stop those things from growing more of themselves and crawling their way back up to the bridge; Takumi had to work fast to see what he could gather before he and his ally needed to retreat this forsaken ship. Quickly resheathing his blade, the hooded suited male approached the main console within the bridge; luckily, for the time being, the bridge was clear of that strange black and green material which left this much easier than having to fend off a bunch of those corrupted things while trying to get anything to work. No matter what he had done though, everything was all completely shut down just as the artificial intelligence had stated earlier when she had spoken with Takumi.
"Come on Kelly..." Whispering silently to himself as he constantly switched multiple buttons to see if he was able to force start anything whatsoever. In the end, nothing started as he wouldn't dare try to get into contact with his ally if she was going through any possible predicament of facing these corrupted beings as well.

Kelly rounded the last corner as she came to a large steel bulkhead, there was a glowing terminal next to it but it looked like it had been disabled by force. "Damn!" She slammed her fist against the steel wall of the corridor, barely leaving a dent in the plate. "Wait a second..." She scanned around the hall, looking for a red bolted plate. There! She spotted it, running quickly to the plate, she slammed her fist against it hard, denting it and making it hang loosely off the wall. Behind it was a perfectly intact Access Override Terminal. Military Override. Just in case Insurgents went rogue and locked themselves behind said Bulkhead. The terminal booted and burst into life, quickly asking for an Access code and Password. Damn! "Rayleigh, I need a hand."

"What is it Boss?" Rayleigh's perky voice crackled through her Helmet.

"I need you to quickly access this terminal and open that Bulkhead." With a quick nod, Rayleigh flashed into the terminal and began a Brute Force hack on the system's encryption protocol. Within a moment, the terminal light up and the Bulkhead door began to hiss and slowly open.

"Boss, I read 9 contacts on the other side of the door. Green. Probably survivors, and they are in a bad state." There was a rush of clean air blow past the Soldier as the door opened, there were also lights inside the room. Definitely a good sign. "Kelly, there are Hostiles closing in on your position...Ma'am!"

Kelly mentally facepalmed at the AI's foolishness, spinning on her heel with rifle locked and loaded. The Infestation was right on her heels and closing in fast, with a few slow breaths, Kelly fired off 3 quick bursts from her Braton and took a step back towards the door. "Rayleigh, you're my eyes in the back. Any of those greens go red, I need you in my ear 10 seconds before it crosses their minds." Rayleigh replied with a quick 'Mhmm' and diverted her attention to Kelly's 6. After another quick set of bursts from her rifle, Kelly swiveled and ran for the bulkhead. "Rayleigh, close that bulkhead. I want the only person with access to be you and that's final!" As soon as she had cleared the door, the bulkhead slammed shut, and at that moment, the static of her COMMs link disappeared.

"Takumi, come in. This is Kelly, I'm in the sealed off Maintenance bay. I've got 9 greens, not sure if any of them are infected but I will be scanning their Vitals soon. I'm having Rayleigh take a shot at the Backup power, we should have power back in moments. Standing by..."

Takumi Calix

While standing within the bridge of the ship itself; Takumi could do nothing more than simply await for any answer that he could possibly receive from his ally that she had gotten the power back up at any point. The entire time standing there, the only thing he would be able to hear were the sounds of claws scratching against metal as the corrupted beings only grew closer with every passing second while they climbed up the elevator shaft. "Come on Kelly..." Once more speaking up to himself to try and hope that his new ally had been able to get everything working; Takumi had paced left to right while he kept his dark gaze following left to right of the bridge to make sure none of the corrupted creatures had arrived into the room just yet. It wasn't until a matter of minutes passing by did the sounds of each of the consoles within the bridge would begin to finally boot themselves up as the lights within the bridge finally began to flicker on one after another. Many of the lights within the room had been damaged to the point of being unable to be repaired however the lights that had turned on had showed a sight of something that was probably best left in the dark in the end. Switching off his night vision from his hud, the last thing that Takumi had expected to find was now closely considered a nightmare in reality before him. Bloody had been splattered across the room, smeared against the screens of many of the consoles and even across the front window of the ship; all around the room were mangled bodies along with limbs here and there scattered everywhere. The sight of this was horrific at the least as Takumi cursed at the sight of what had happened. "Damn the corruption...We were too late to save them...I'm sorry.." Apologizing to the dead soldiers of the ship, Takumi had remained silent even after the sound of his ally speaking now much more clearly through the comm. channels without all the horrible static getting in the way. rather than saying anything for the time being; he had wished to respect the dead before him by at least giving them the moment of silence they deserved.

After finally giving the respect the soldiers deserved, Takumi had quickly rushed over towards the nearest console as he had wiped the blood off of the screen to begin typing in multiple different codes into the security systems of the ship; if it still even had any. Finding the interior ceiling turrents had still been active enough to function; Takumi quickly started up the onslaught of machine turrents to take down any and all hostiles that appeared in any section of the ship. Obviously enough, it was only for a few minutes before the corrupted beings began to try and focus their attention to take down one after another of the guns.
"I read you loud and clear Kelly..That's excellent news that you found survivors. But we can't let this ship return to the station. You heard our orders. If it was contaminated, we must destroy the ship. I'm going to set the reactor to overheat and explode in itself. Once I do this, we're going to need to get back to our shuttle in the hanger bay we came in from. As long as the backup power keeps running, we'll be able to open up the hanger bay doors and get out of here with the survivors." Just as he spoke of what he was prepared to do, Takumi had began to enter in multiple different codes into the console before entering the exact word. 'Purge' into the system's main commands, of course; just as expected once the male had done so, the console would've given him multiple warnings about what he was prepared to do before agreeing to everything and entering in a Warframe code that only those specialized to wear one of the suits were able to know. With this code, it was easily able to override any passcode that might've been required to do such an action.

Immediately after doing so, the entire ship's lights would all immediately turn into a bright red as they flickered on and off multiple times while a male voice echoed through each of the rooms and halls of the ship warning that the ship's reactor core was going to heat up into extreme temperatures before ending up exploding later on.
"Alright Kelly! T-minus thirty minutes! Get those people out of there and i'll meet you in the hanger bay!" Shouting through the comm. channel to make sure that his ally was heard over the loud blaring alarm going throughout the ship. Just as he had done so, the corrupted creatures had finally entered the interior of the bridge as they began quickly spitting rapid shots of their acid to hit the young male. Luckily enough, with their distance; it took little more than the slightest bit of effort to dodge the blob of acid even if it had caused the console to melt away. With that, Takumi had quickly rushed towards his enemies with both of his fists as his primary weapon at this point. Just as he approached his the creatures; the male had immediately slid to a halt in front of the nearest corrupted creature before extending both of his arms out in front of him with both of his fists quickly penetrating into the strange black and green liquid of what the thing had considered a body. In mere seconds, the entire body of the creature would begin to tremble and shake as the surrounding metallic walls of the ship would begin to shake along with it as well. Moments later, the entire lot of the corruption creatures were immediately blown away forward as the amount of weight from the ones above those who had been climbing up the elevator shaft had practically forced them to fall to their doom of the large and seemingly endless elevator shaft.

"Affirmative!" Kelly replied quickly, turning on the spot towards the survivors. "Rayleigh, how many are infected?" Kelly's finger twitched around the safety on her rifle. She was not looking forward to this part, but orders are orders and she was sworn to obey them, who was she kidding, from age 6 onwards, she was property of the Military, she was a tool, a weapon, if orders were disobeyed; she would be no different to them.

"Good news. None of them are infected." Kelly couldn't be more happy with the upbeat giggle she received from her artificial companion.

"How many of them can move, FAST." Kelly shot back, her finger now sitting nicely away from the safety of her rifle, completely relieved she didnt have to shoot any civilians. And if on cue, all 9 survivors stood behind her, waiting for orders. "Alright then. Rayleigh, I need you monitor out position and alert me if any greens make hostile contact. I'm going to be busy minding my 12, I need you to have my 6, okay?" She saw the AI nod and salute jokingly before her image disappeared of her HUD with a flash. Within a moment, the bulkhead began to open with a loud hiss. Behind it were about 12 hostiles scattered about 40 feet down the corridor. Easy Picking. "On my mark. 3..... 2..... MARK!" And on her mark they burst off down the hall, Kelly taking pot shots at the heads of every Creature she could aim at, her Neural reflexes worked overtime, any extended over clocking on her Neural and Retinal implants could possible burn them out, meaning; slow down.

She finally rounded the last corner, the Shuttle coming into sight, she slowed and turned towards the hallway they had just run from poised and loaded. "Rayleigh, I need a SITREP, stat!"

"I've got 7 survivors... 2 didn't make it, they fell behind." Rayleigh's usually upbeat voice dropped into a downcast sloop, quite unlike her to get down over collateral damage. "The remaining survivors vital's seem normal, noone's been infected Boss."

Takumi Calix

After taking care of the strange corrupted creatures that had dared tried to enter the interior of the bridge and actually hooking himself back to the same floor that he had arrived from with his chains once more. The instant both of his metallic feet had ended up touching the floor before him, just as expected the bulges that had been coming from all over now were finally revealing what they truly were; corrupted creatures just pouring themselves out from the pockets of each of the strange material that had fused with the walls. Exhaling a deep sigh as he shook his head at the sight of this; Takumi had reached for both of his blades at the sides of his hips before carefully unsheathing them to have them held at both his sides. With the dark red light flickering throughout the entire hall, as the male stood there at the entrance of the elevator and the timer still counting down rapidly; soon enough, the only words to actually leave Takumi's lips from underneath his helmet were simply. "Release." With those only words leaving his lips; quickly enough the suit itself would begin to extend out large flaps from around his back as they all sparked off a slight stream of electricity for a moment to make it almost seem as though they were a pair of metallic wings upon his back. Without a mere second wasted, once the creatures had taken care of the last of the turrets within the hall and finally turned their drooling attention towards the elevator; the last glimpse they would've been able to notice was nothing more than a quick stream of red and blue phasing right on by them in blinding speed as he dashed by each one of the creatures; making sure to slice each of them in perfect succession. Rather than coming to a halt even after he had sliced each of his enemies; the male simply continued to rush down the hall as he followed down the path that he had arrived from to reach the hanger bay where the shuttle awaited him as well as hoping that was where Kelly and the survivors had been awaiting for him.

As the sound of the ship's intercom once more gone off to repeat the same line about how the reactor core had been reaching critical. By the time Takumi had ended up reaching around the final corner of the last corridor, he would notice as to how luckily, Kelly had already indeed been there with the survivors after-all. "Kelly. Get the survivors on the shuttle and start up the ship!" Just as he shouted through the comm. channel towards his ally; by the time the male had ended up reaching nearly halfway down the entire hall; the sight of the unimaginable amount of corrupted creatures following after Takumi had been overwhelming. By the time he had reached the exterior of the hall, he had made sure to take a quick slice of the nearby terminal in hopes to close up the blast doors to by some sort of time for his ally to start up the ship and get everyone into the shuttle as well. All the while, Takumi had sheathed both of his blades only to once more equip his bow as he shot multiple arrows towards the creatures that had been pouring from the doorway and even ceiling soon enough.
