Tohappi nodded to Nori's story. "I see so you found this pit of gold because of you two are treasure hunters... I'm still wondering how that explains the burning house." Tohappi said pointing at the burning building. "You what I think lad? I think and that flying friend of you killed the owner of that house and threw their coins into the pit to play out some sick fantasy of yours." Tohappi said accusing them of murder. Then he noticed another person. "Hey you in black, are you with these two murders and thieves? Because if not I'll need your help to tie them up and bring them back to the city for trial." The dwarf said calling out to Cobalt.

From the air, Mallow could see much farther away and noticed a few more details of the air. There seemed to be a couple of villages near the edge of the forest, along with some farmland. There also seemed to be a large structure in the center of the forest.

Then a roar large echoing roar and many other noises could be heard coming from the forest, all seemingly calling out in unison for something. Then even more strangely colorful light erupted from the forest into the sky and seemed to start putting on a show before sprinkling back down to the forest.

The dwarf was silent as he watched the show. Then he turned back to three strangers. "Could one of you possible slap me? I think I may be sleepy. I knew my cousin new beer was strange but I didn't think it makes me have as strange of dreams as this nonsense." Tohappi said thinking he was just asleep and that strangeness of the last few moments was just a dream.

After the bandits were killed, only the sounds of the rats and other rodents scurrying around could be heard. Beyond the town of broken and abandoned homes was a road to the west. If traveled northward on road, you would be heading in the direction of a possible city were a huge bell tower stood, easily seeable, even from the ghost town. Also if further west of the road you would a large and thick forest, full of animals and many bats.

Also of note were the bodies of the bandits. While they didn't carry much, besides wore out swords and rusted armor, their leader did have one thing of note, a folded up piece of paper reading:
"We have been watching you and your disgusting group of petty thieves and low lives. The reason we have not killed you yet is that your blood would almost certainly task rotten. So we will give one, and only one chance to leave this city. If you do not, we will find you and kill. We promise you that, and we always keep our promises
Signed, the Counsel"
The note ended with bat-shaped emblem at the bottom of the page.

Snowdown

Fenris Fenris

Just outside the forest was a small village. While normally they would going about there days, farming and such, the humans and dwarves stopped what they were doing to watch the strange light coming from the forest that followed the many roars. As you would expect people started trying to make sense of what happened. So thought is possible a new beast who just made the whole forest its territory. Other thought it possible wood elven returning to forest. And then a few humans even suggested it, elven goddess of woods, herself. The last idea didn't sit well with the dwarves, as their god in legends held a great dislike for the goddess of the woods.

Once Snowdown reached the edge of woods where the village was, the humans and dwarves began arguing over what to do. Some wanted to leave the possible beast alone, some wanted to hunt it down and kill it, and dwarves want to banish it from if it was and quote "the filthy and snooty eleven forest goddess".

The two sides fought on until out of the sky came a warrior... no, a monster. The armor warrior impact with the ground was enough kills several soldiers on both sides. Then as monster spoke and stated it planned to kill them all, it shook many to the core. Then as it and two more... people came from the sky and assault the armies there seemed to be panic before their respective general took control.

The women on side of the human and dwarves quickly giving orders to the captains. "Get your men back and retreat what every these new foe are, we can't them yet. I and few squads of Artisans will keep them as long as possible for to retreat." The women order gracefully.

"But if we lose you Lady Aleiva, what hope do we have of winning this war?" A soldier asked the women.

"There more heroes ready to up arms to defend the city-states. For now, retreat and believe in the gods to help us" The women said confidently to the soldier before turning around and charging at the women (Alexiel) cutting through her troops...

"General Spindler, what do we do?" a drow soldier said running up the drider general.

The general was silent before saying "Send all the Magitech soldiers at the those... monsters. They should bye us the time we need to escape. Now let the other know and RETREAT" the general yelled before grabbing a strange device from his side. It looked like some kind of fantasy screen device. The general touched the "screen" a few times and once he did all the black-armored soldier charged at the three "monsters" ripping apart the armies.

At this point, large portions of the armies were retreating as a few on both sides stayed behind to cover the retreat. Which takes us to Alevia as she made it to Alexiel. "Halt!" Alevia demand Alexiel. "I do not know who you are or why you are doing this but as the hero of Valo, I will end this rampage of blood here and now," Alevia said as her sword glowed with a faint holy light. Then she jumped into to air to slash down on Alexial...

The human began retreating into the forest, the same forest Perry Whispurr was currently. The men scattered into the forest, hoping to lower the number of them caught in case the "monsters" from the battlefield began going after them. As they did, many ignored or didn't notice the little beast-man crawling on the ground. Well, all except one soldier. As the soldier was retreating in the woods he passed by Perry. He first ignored them before looking back to him. "...I better not regret this..." The soldier said running back to Perry and picking him up. He then threw him onto his shoulders and started running again. "Hold on tight, because I'm not slowing down anymore." The soldier yelled to his new passenger.

Battlefield

Each skull is an eggshell, and the flesh surrounding it is flappy rubber. Easily cracked just by poking it too hard; not very shock absorbent, and extremely brittle. The soldiers' arrows might as well be dust particles when they crash against his skin. And their swords? Like being hit with a bar of styrofoam.

As such, he spared the soldiers.

He killed only those that got close, that believed their bravado would carry them to victory, only to be let down, before being discarded to the ground. Dismissive and uncaring; the last thing some of these soldiers saw before the loss of consciousness was him walking past their battered bodies as if they didn't exist. He knew that the realization of meaninglessness would infuriate them to no end. Those who died would do so in a mixture of despair and anguish, while those who survived would be, likely, traumatized by the experience. Only the dauntless few - with the right mental model - raised in hardship and stirred in it, would be strengthened by the experience; refined by it. And even those would carry mental baggage for at least months, if not years.

He didn't actually even kill the soldiers per se - no reason to go to such a length - he simply applied force to their bodies until they were broken enough to cease hostilities. Whether that meant death or a broken tibia wasn't any of his business, but most fell motionless in moments either way, and that was enough.

It was a long beeline between the point of his drop and the Drider general. Obviously, they'd never outrun him. Not if he got serious, they wouldn't - but there was no reason to ruin his fun.

That's when the magitech soldiers walked into his path. Clad in jet-black armor, concealing furious mana crystals as batteries, servos revving loudly with each joint movement.

"Who are you supposed to be?" Elsimore questioned, head tilting sideways. He lifted an eyebrow appraisingly. "You don't look the same as the rest of that plebiantry."

Between him and Alexiel, and the fact that Greater Teleportation existed, the Drider general's not getting away either way. Might as well have fun.

Ellis' face shifted, the ghost of a smile encroaching on it, showing just the slightest amount of vulpine smugness. "Very well. Surrender or die. If you surrender, I will leave you alone. Choosing to fight me is equivalent to execution - no matter your equipment, you will fail utterly. Are you ready to make that sacrifice for your country? Your lives, in exchange for several seconds for your people to retreat? It's a fair deal."

Alexiel Pendragon
Battllefield | ChazGhost ChazGhost

Alexiel observed with an expression of pure glee as the soldiers began to retreat, like a child would when they dropped their foot into the middle of a pack of ants and watched them scatter. They wouldn't outrun her - Alexiel wasn't one for math, but even she knew by intuition that eluding her was a mathematical impossibility - a value that wasn't real.

However, the greatest fool among them was their leader, the armor-clad woman. Truly, heroes were the greatest fools of all. What God was there to hold faith in? What miracle could save this poor girl from a fate held in the hands of beings that were Gods compared to men? Alexiel despised faith above all - the girl's blabbering about believing in the gods made her sick in the stomach. No God could possibly save a fool who was running headfirst into their demise.

Alexiel sheathed her blade, and raised her left hand that was covered by hetr gauntlet - she blocked Alevia's strike completely. As her blade made contact with Alexiel's gauntlet, the holy aura that enveloped her sword would be completely swallowed up by he aura of darkness that seeped from the gauntlet. Alexiel would swiftly respond by pushing aside Alevia's arms and bringing herself closer, before tightly embracing the paladin...

Just what was she doing?

Alexiel pressed her body tightly against Alevia's armor, gently placing her right hand behind Alevia's head and leaning her face so close to Alevia's ear that she could feel the scantily dressed paladin's warm breath against her skin. An unsettling giggle escaped Alexiel's lips. ''Truly, I pity you,'' She began to whisper. ''The Gods you hold such faith in know nothing but iniquity; allow me to enlighten you.''

Alexiel motioned with her left arm, presumably casting some form of a spell. ''7th Tier Magic: Holy Nova!'' A gentle wave of light spread outward and enveloped Alexiel, Alevia and the few brave soldiers who stayed behind to defend those that were retreating. Their wounds would begin to mend, and their body envigorated. The fatigue from a long battle would all but dissipate.

Unfortunately, the same couldn't be said for the main force that was retreating. As the light spread further, it would suddenly intensify and extended outward, turning from a gentle light of salvation to a purging wave of destruction. Those that were caught in it were literally vaporized on the spot, and when the devastation subsided, a majority of the ants that were scurrying for their lives were close to completely eradicated. Alexiel's inhuman grin only widened as she whispered into Alevia's ear once more.

"You see, my dear~? Your 'Gods' care not for your fleeting little lives." She finally let go of Alevia, and gave the girl a tiny amount of distance. A lance materialized in her hand. It emanated an intense divine aura, yet it also seethed with wickedness. A gross amalgamation of holy and heresy - and Alevia would find herself on the 'business end' of the lance. "My orders were to bring you back - alive. However, that does not exempt me from grievously injuring you, or slaughtering your men. If you submit and offer yourself without resistance, I can guarantee the safety of those that remain, and the total annihilation of your enemy." Alexiel pointed toward the behemoth of a knight that was Kodbromaal as she said this - swords bent against the living fortress, spears snapped and axes shattered. The monster was literally flinging the Magitech soldiers around with his bare hands. One of the mechanical soldiers saw it fit to pick up and utilize Kodbromaal's own greatsword, which was still lodged into the earth. With a tiny nudge from the colossus, the greatsword fell over and flattened the soldier under its unbelievable weight.

"However, if you refuse..." Alexiel leaned over, her expression laced with malice, and gently grasped Alevia's chin. "Let's just say there are many ways to break you."

Mallow / Nori
Nori just listened to the dwarf's accusation of them of murder. It's actually reasonable for him to had that kind of conclusion. Nori just didn't think about the cover up story that far. He triesd to cover his story another cover up story, only to make it harder for himself to keep his consistency. The last cover up story he tried to tell to the dwarf was they're actually beings from another star constellation or something like that.

Then that happened, colorful light coming from the area to their north. It was like an aurora, but coming from the ground instead from the sky. Did someone cast a super-tier spell? Did that mean they're not the only players transported into this world??

"Could one of you possible slap me? I think I may be sleepy. I knew my cousin new beer was strange but I didn't think it makes me have as strange of dreams as this nonsense." Although so far him and the dwarf had done nothing but arguing with each other, Nori saw this as an opportunity. If he could convince the dwarf that this all actually a dream then he wouldn't need to make another cover up story.

"Sure. Let me." Nori slapped the dwarf gently, and the dwarf was thrown into the far side of the field. "Tohappi!!" Panicked at the impact of his little slap, Nori chased the dwarf through the field.

Meanwhile Mallow landed back onto the ground after finishing her surveillance. She was confused when she looked at Nori, whose now was trying to press the dwarf's chest with his both hands repeatedly. She ignored them for now and approached the other figure instead, another player that came to the farewell party. She equipped her monocle of truth to look for the player's name.

"So, Cobalt. You might already noticed this, but welcome to another world! I just confirmed that our surrounding terrain had changed drastically. No more Stardust Canyon, it's now completely new! This will be exciting to explore." Mallow unable to held giggle as she pulled a scroll from her inventory.

"Meteor Divination - Target: Full Plate." She threw the scroll into the air. The scroll burned immediately and from its sparkling fire, a small light sphere launched high into the sky. It seemed to went into a far away place.

"After I check that weird aurora. I will go to where that meteor went. That is where my guild hall might be. It seems quite far though, so I will take my time. Nori over there will likely do the same." Mallow pointed at Nori, whose now trying to blew air into the dwarf's mouth. "But what will you do? Do you want to join us in our journey? Do you want to carve your own path? Or will you strive to go back to the old world?"

Monocle of Truth - Mallow's basic appraisal item. Can show the target's basic information. Easily tricked or blocked, but at least it doesn't cost any mana to use.

Meteor Divination - A gacha item to find a particular monster with the highest chance of dropping a particular item. Range: worldwide.

Cobalt looked around and saw that most of things had changed. Taking out his map he saw that the map too showed different things. A forest at the east and a mountain range at the north east.

He also noticed that his other senses have also started to work like touch, smell and taste. And the HUD was obviously not opening. That meant only one thing..... HE WAS IN THE OVERLORD ANIME!!

Man that was awesome and he was excited of what to come. He then heard Mallow say something to him.

He looked at Mallow and nodded at her.
"I'll join you guys," He said,"You already know my name from your Monocle Of Truth so what's yours?"

Jyeen stays in silence as she walks through the new forest surrounding the guild, long methodic paces contrasted by the skipping youth around her feet looking to each new item and commenting at great length. Stopping in front for a moment Something peers upwards to her friends face "Hmm? Well, shes certainly wasting no time putting on a show, apparently there a queen now and want to conquer the land" letting out a faint giggle to herself as she looks back onwards.

Casting an eye towards the youth Jyeen takes a while to run over the claim "We were tasked to guard and defend the area on loan by the idiot's orders, but we carry and enforce our guilds ideals regardless of where we tread...we will talk once we better understand the situation, for now, we need to learn" raising an eye to the light show in the sky for a moment but looking back to her task once she confirms its nature.

It would not be long before the two arrived at the edge of the village to the sight of the short panic, taking lead and scanning around for what would appear to be the most senior member within the area
"Its a light show by a child and nothing more, though id be careful with any new arrivals never the less" Jyeens footsteps appeared to barely make a sound as she appeared looking down to the people "If i may ask, who here would be most knowledgeable about the local area?"

Elliot O'Connor || Snowdown
-Spirit Forest Syndicate-
[Small village near the woods]

The shifting light from above colored the forest in various hue's that seemed to make the shadows come alive. Between the spectacle and the cacophony of howls it would be impossible to discover Snow taking cover behind a thick tree trunk near the village. Oddly enough he actually considered joining in on the howl but quickly suppressed the silly notion. What on earth was he thinking? The monk huffed, “Way to get everyone riled up boss.”

He was about to eavesdrop on a pair of dwarfs loudly arguing about a eleven forest goddess and what to do about the pointy eared pest when the massive form of Jyeen emerged from the forest, trailed by the smaller Something. Shouldn't the pair have been attending Evangeline? With the blond giant drawing most of the attention Snowdown's approach went almost unnoticed; actually causing the pair of dwarfs to startle as he brushed by.

The devil constructs comment elicited an uncharacteristic snicker from him before collecting himself with a more dignified cough. “You underestimate the Spirit Queen! Her power and beauty are immeasurable, as is her cruelty. To offend her seals a fate worse than death, but those in her good graces shall prosper! All she asks is a small token of appreciation, in return for her blessings and protection. A bargain if I've ever seen one; and these eyes o' mine have seen much.” Snow completed his theatricals with a wink.

The number of gazes he'd managed to draw felt uncomfortable, but he was determined not to show it. Bluffing potential trading partners was a well honed skill and his 'bargain' was nothing but a lucrative trading opportunity. Continuing his stride toward the uneven pair of construct and mimic, the monk spoke in a quieter more reasonable tone, “What a pleasant surprise to see you here. It appears we have similar goals and eavesdropping is a bad habit; so I hope you don't mind me formally joining the inquiry.”

The girl's eye moves to the arrival of the Lycan "Can it mongrel, You don't waltz in and lay claim to another's land under threat especially when you know nothing about the land and its current owners" her cold stare lingering for several moments with her brow lowering "So your veiled threat is empty as doing so would violate previous agreements...and result in unwanted repercussions. If you're going to join in an inquiry there will be no more threats" Her words flowing in a calm tone but carrying a sense of finality to them, the smaller figure as well just grinning all the while as Jyeen turns her attention back to the Dwarfs "You can ignore him for the most part, but yes there is a new child in the forest wanting to play queen...but she is not as important at the moment as we need to get a lay of the land that we have found ourselves in."

While the towering woman speaks, the smaller one keeps her attention on Fenris "What Big Sis said, it's really not nice to be a bully after all...you really should be nicer." giggling once more as she strolls around slightly looking things over putting forward the image of an innocent child perfectly.

Perry Whispurr[

Everything seemed to move so slowly almost as if time was coming to a screeching halt. Perry hands felt heavy, her vision blurred, and her legs had gone completely numb. She felt her stomach convulsing, the bile she threw up burned the back of her throat, it was safe to say that everything hurt. The situation was becoming more dire with every passing second; the ground quaking violently while man and dwarf retreated back to the forest, none of them noticing the shriveled presence of the beastman crawling for his life. She couldn't particularly say she was happy about being left behind, in fact, she was absolutely terrified. All she wanted to do was to play this damn game one more time before it shutdown, but instead of an emotional send off she was gifted with the body of a cat in a world that was filled with violence and bloodshed. Sharp claws protracted from her fingers, digging deep into blood soaked earth. Death was not on her list of things to do today, and she would be damned she allowed herself to die in a shit hole like this, not now - not ever. Finding her resolve to live, she pushed forward, although her body still remain in a state of disarray.

Suddenly, a leather covered arm coated in blood and sweat picked her up much like a man carrying a sack. The unexpected touch of another person put her into state of panic, confused as to why this soldier would pick up a random beastman during a retreat. She swiped at his face, but her arms only extended as far the man's chest which was covered by a thick piece of dyed leather. She struggled to free herself from his grasp until she heard him say something that nearly sounded like he was trying to save her. Although confused, it didn't appear to her that he was lying as he hauled both himself and Perry through dense forest. Perry stopped her struggling and allowed herself a moment to breathe while the armed strangers kept sprinting. Her nerves were shot; the sight of a man dying in front of her made it hard to stay composed, and the fact that death followed behind them wasn't quite calming either. It was then she started to remember something of importance. Something so integral to Yggdrasil that she couldn't believe that she'd forgotten it. Magic! If this world was Yggdrasil as she originally had guessed than she should be able to cast spells much like she did back then. Now the problem lied in what spells to cast. Being absent from the gaming scene for over eight months, she forgot nearly half of the spells Perry could cast. Spells ... what were some that could be useful in this situation? More than that, did casting work the same as it did back in Yggdrasil? Perry wanted to test it with something small before trying out some of the bigger spells that came to mind. However, the monsters behind her seemed to have other plans as a devastatingly bright light fell from the sky.

"It can't be ... Isn't that?" she muttered, her pupils dilating as she stared at the source for a few seconds before turning her gaze down to the soldier.

"Keep running! No matter what happens, just keep on moving!" she commanded, the soldier already sprinting at maximum speed.

So much for testing it out, if she didn't do anything soon forget about making it out alive, they'd be lucky enough if even their ashes remained after this. Here goes, she took a gulp before reciting the magic in her head, her body shaking furiously as she began casting. If this didn't work then everything would be over for her. No, this just had to work. Placing her paws together, Perry recited the phrase in her head. Silent Triple Boost Magic- Shield Wall!. As soon as she finished her mental incantation, an intricate magical circle surrounded her and everything within a five foot radius. Just as quickly as the her magic was cast, the light had fallen upon them, the barrier doing much to protect the duo from magical damage although she could still feel the weight of the attack from above. And just like that, it was over. Perry and the soldier were fine along with two others, a young man and a dwarf who were following behind them. They were alive though the same could not be said for the soldier's comrades as holes riddled the ground, trees completely obliterated down to their roots. The soldier stopped after the beam of light had fallen, his breath ragged from running in such a sorry state, tears now decorating his face. Perry found herself tearing up as well, but for a completely different reason. Bile once again rose up from her stomach and fell from her mouth onto the floor, some catching onto the soldiers armor. It burned. She couldn't keep throwing up like this less she wanted to find herself passed out or killed. Touching her chest she remembered a spell that cured the fear status ailment. Seeing as her other spell worked it made sense that she could cast a spell unto herself.

"Courage." she said, a green glow surrounding her body, helping her to regain her composure though it did nothing for the pain that still ate away at her. Having cleared her mind, she tapped on the fallen man's head. As he turned to look at her, his tears were no more, instead was a warrior who understood the atrocities of war. But was this war? The interference of an unknown third party wreaking havoc on both sides defied all the rulesr. Before she spoke a single word, the soldier thanked her.

"Thank you for saving me feline, I am truly in your debt." he thanked while putting her feet first onto the ground. His speech and mannerism made it even more apparent to her that these were no longer NPC, the dialogue had never been this specific. The soldier took a quick look around the area, his eyes jumping in surprise at what he saw near the forest edge. "If you follow these men, you should be able to reach the base hidden within the forest before sun fall." he said as he walked back towards the clearing.

"Wait!" she exclaimed. "Why are you going back there?"

"I can't leave the Lady behind. Not even to save my own life. Without her, we'll lose this war ... and our homes." he said in a sullen tone as he kept marching forward. "You should not worry about me nor concerns yourself in this affair. I'm not sure why a beastman would be wandering around these parts, but you've done me a great deal. Now please, follow the others if you wish to escape." he repeated.

He didn't have to tell her twice. In a world filled with raging monster and death lingering at every turn, it made the most sense for her to pick the path that'd guarantee her survival. However, as she watched the soldier march towards certain death, she couldn't help but feel of tinge of guilt hovering over her. No, this was for the best. Perry had to do what was best for her, and she knew that going back to that hellhole wasn't it.

"He's right. This is none of my concern. I am just a innocent bystander in all of this." she told herself.

"Oh, is that so?" an ominous voice resounded in her ears. What the ... Who is that?

"What's wrong, have you gotten amnesia after being idle for so long? Why that isn't very nice of you. I'm sure we've had many fond memories together ... Mr. Whispurr" he teased. Mr. Whispurr? Why had that name sounded so familiar to her. Kiss Baybay! That was his nickname for her when they play together, despite her insistence for him to stop calling her that. He said it was cute, and if he hadn't want him to call her it then she shouldn't have named her character that.

"Kiss Baybay?"

"Warm, but incorrect." the voice told her. If not Kiss Baybay then who would know her by th-

"Fourth?"

"Ding! We've have a winner." he laughed. Fourth was a shadow demon that was gifted to her by Kiss Baybay named for being the fourth NPC he ever made. The devil had a rather odd sense of humor with psychotic tendencies that left Perry questioning why Kiss Baybay would program his personality to be like that, but at the moment it wasn't important.

"Where are you? Why can't I see you?" she inquired, searching for him in the surrounding area with no prevail.

"Have you truly forgotten? I live within your shadow, and I am not allowed to leave unless granted permission to do so. Although, I'm also not allowed to be talking with you either, but it get so lonesome in this realm by myself" he whined, that last sentence sounding insincere. Though, Perry did remember asking Kiss Baybay to add that into Fourth's coding before accepting him. She didn't want to have to deal with a demon constantly following behind her while she played the game.

"Fourth, I grant you permission" she stated, a cloud of black smoke rising from within her shadow to give form to a jovial devil. The entirety of his body was black and grey, his skin a deep black that reflected no light. The only visible part of his face were a pair of soulless white eyes along with well defined teeth that only showed when he spoke.

"Wow, look at all this carnage? It's much better to see it through my own eyes." he laughed before noticing the soldier approaching the forest edge. "Why lookie over there. Isn't that the human who saved you earlier? Why he sure does look like an outstanding man." he chirped ," It's too bad that he's going to die in vein, no one to know how valiantly he fought in his finally moments." Perry marched forward, trying to ignore the bumbling idiot behind her.

"Don't you think humans are quite fascinating creatures? They're so fragile yet for something as intangible as pride and honor, they willing throw their lives away. How paradoxical. Isn't that man just the prime ex-" he droned on until Perry could no longer hold back her frustrations.

"Then what do you want me to do then?! I have nothing to do with this mess. I've already saved him once so that makes us even! If he want to go out there and die in a bout of glory than who am I to deny him of that?" she yelled, gasping as she let all of her anger out onto him.

"What are you saying? I don't want you to do anything. You're right, you're just bystander in this whole situation. If that man wants to kill himself then so being." he paused, letting out a snicker. "All that matter is that you survive, isn't that what you said?" Perry growled at Fourth, staring daggers into him. He knew exactly was he was doing and was getting a kick out of it. Fine! Have it his way. Heaving a sigh, she, against her better judgement, ran back towards the broken soldier and pulled at his arm.

"Why have you returned? I thought I told you this is none of your concern." he reminded.

"Yea, but I would feel bad if the man I went through the trouble of saving dies in a place like this. So I've decided I'll help you." Perry stated. The soldier opened his mouth to voice his concerns, but before he could speak, the two of them were forcefully pulled by the Fourth into a part of the forest where the trees were still intact . Once they reached the edge of the forest, the jester dropped the two onto the ground before disappearing back into Perry's shadow without the man noticing.

"What in Gods na-"

"Don't worry about that right now. Focus on trying to save this Lady or whoever she is." she interjected off while trying to assess the situation. In the center of the clearing were two women, one who was heavily wounded while the other was dressed rather promiscuously holding a lance that emitted an unsettling aura. Behind her were two others, a sentient piece of armor and another humanoid figure. "Fourth, do you think you can win against that one?" she asked within her head, the devil peeking through Perry's eyes to see what he was referring to. "Hmm, I can probably last a good ten minutes out there ... if I was lucky enough. That woman is pretty frightening." he commented, Perry balling her paw into a fist in anger. "If you knew you couldn't win then why in the hell did you make me com back here?"

" I didn't make you do anything. This was wholeheartedly your decision. My will has no bearing over yours, Mr. Whispurr."

Although she hate to admit it, he was right, she had chosen to come back here, but she wasn't going to tell him that. Fourth continued to talk inside her mind. "In all honesty, you could probably take that one on by yourself, but even that could prove a bit difficult. Besides, the problem is not solely with the woman herself, but more so those two working behind her. It's easy to take on one person, but to take on three of that caliber is suicide.". He was right again, if she tried to take them head on she was sure to lose, especially with her lack of knowledge. She began running trials in her head, thinking up ways that she could interfere. If they couldn't fight them head on, then they wouldn't it. Suddenly, she figured out a possible solution, but she'd needed Fourth's cooperation if any of this were to succeed. With that, she began explaining the plan to Fourth who seemed quite surprised by his master intuitiveness. "Why, that may actually have a slim chance of succeeding. I didn't really expect you to come you with a plan so quickly." he said in surprise.

With the Fourth on board, she began to set her plan in motion. Taking off her hat, she revealed two abnormally large cat ears that bounced upward as the hat was removed. Once in her paws, she began digging through the hole, rummaging inside the cloth before pulling out a staff that appeared to have a dark purple orb within a cats paw. The staff in her hands she began casting her spells. " Silent Magic - Shadow Link", she chanted internally. The spell was simple in nature, it allowed the caster to connect their target's shadow with their own, her target obviously being the wounded woman out front. Once the link was created, she moved on to the next step. However, before casting, she gave a warning to the soldier beside her.

"I am going to do something extremely reckless, but no matter what happens, I need you to trust me." she knew she was asking a lot of him. The solider didn't understand what feline was about to do, but if it would give them a fighting chance against those monsters, he would gladly accept.

Now Perry stood a few feet back from the forest's edge, paws clasped tightly around her staff. With a deep breath she recited the incantation, "Tier 8 Maximize Magic - Hades' Requiem." Her staff helped to significantly decrease the amount of time that it would take for her to cast this it. As the words fell from her lips, an elaborate magical circle began to form at her feet, a a larger one formulating above those on the battlefield. A black smog rose from the corpses of those in the surrounding area and into the magic circle. Soon, an unholy symphony of screeches and growls began resonating from the sky while a mix of black and purple energy began to seep out. As more of it fell, one could start to see faces forming in the mass, the sounds growing louder the bigger it grew. Perry was glad she had cast Courage onto herself earlier or she was sure she'd be spewing her guts out right now. This spell, Hades' Requiem was a spell that required a large sacrifice in order to cast, and seeing as how the corpses on the battlefield turning a devilish black, it seemed she met the requirements. Soon, the mass of energy imploded on itself, three intense beams shooting outwards toward the three who were perceived to be the biggest threat.

"Fourth, it's up to you now. We only got one shot at this." she said.

"Of course." he answered as he delve deeper into Perry's shadow.

"I've always wanted to play hero."

Elliot O'Connor || Snowdown
-Spirit Forest Syndicate-
[Small village near the woods]

Snowdown's features twisted into to a vicious snarl before he could stop himself. The surge of anger at a minor insult shocking him far more than the surprising exchange of words. “You're less talkative self was easier to get along with.” he huffed, before shaking his head to clear any remnants of the unwelcome hostility boiling from within. Had he always been so easily agitated?

“I may have been unclear, it was never my intent to threaten the good folk. Merely sharing my experiences, giving advice. Everyone is free to take it or ignore it as they see fit; in the end all of us need to live with the repercussions of our choices after all.” By now the man had calmed himself enough to wonder why Jyeen, a former NPC, cared at all about these people and what her true objective was. Did she feel a sense of kinship or perhaps it was part of her moral code... maybe he should have looked at her character sheet a little closer when he had the chance back in YGGDRASIL. The situation was as volatile as it was intriguing and Snowdown was determined to find out more, even if that kept him dangerously close to the behemoth constructs deadly reach.

Turning to Something the white haired man crouched so they where of even height and responded, “Here I thought I was being nice. Giving out free advice and asking for permission rather than forgiveness but perhaps I'll have to work on that. You and Big Sis can feel free to keep me straight during the questioning, yeah?” He started to reach out to pat the child's head but quickly thought better of it upon remembering Something Somethings true form and instead left it at a faint smile. Dangerously convincing that one!

With any luck the confusing back and forth of unusual new faces would provide more opportunities to gain information and in turn, profit!

Arael
NPCs: Adramelech & Phillip AI
Location: Sky Fortress Phillip

As his suspicion that they were in fact transported to another world became reality the angel needed a time to recollect himself. He didn't particularly mind being transported to another world, but he had so many things left to do in the normal world, like deleting his internet history and wiping his hard drive. God he shuddered at the thought of the media's impression once the police would make it known to them that the middle-weight champion of the world read trash isekais as a form of escapism.

Wait wait no, it would be alright, he instructed his gym mates in the case he was ever to disappear or die to take his computer and use it for punching practice, he should just relax and have a small drink-

Alignment -1
Current Alignment 99

After the pop up disappeared from his screen he could help but frown, why did his alignment go down? Would he use that 0,002% increase in mana regeneration if he got below 50? Why did he even do, better to be here than to massacre those npcs down there!

"..."

They were in a isekai, so all of those npcs were people right? Looking up he would speak to the A.I with a hurried tone.

"Phillip, process the teleportation of Arael and Adramelech to outside of the base. Now."

"High Priority Command processed,

The following player and NPC have left the premises upon ordered by Master Arael: Master Arael, Adramelech.
All other NPCs are in good condition and promptly doing their tasks.
"

When he would reopen his eyes he would find himself a couple of thousand feet in the air, a sight to scare any human shitless, luckily angels didn't produce bile so he was only scared. Luckily he wouldn't be allowed to stay in free fall for long before he got picked by his always ready swan winged companion. This allowed the angel to calm down, the 3rd time he had to do this today. Taking a deep breath he would look up to Adramelech who was surveying the battle field.

"Thank you for the assist, go survey Alexia and Ellis, send all visuals to the common area on Phillip's deck."

With a quick nod he would drop Arael in a unceremonious manner, before flying off to perform his task as instructed, while the origin of the order was returned to his state of falling. He shouldn't have abandoned wings for a minus status buff.

Breathing in slowly he would look at the battle field, the ex-boss turned Faust's puppy Kodbromaal was still mowing down the soldiers, he would probably have to create something else to distract him temporarily since he never asked Faust for information about his NPCS, that just brought bad luck.

So with a heavy sigh he would clasp his hands together in prayer, as he started reciting some sort of incantation while still mid falling, which he only finished 300 feet off the ground.

"Super tier magic, 『Pantheon』."

At the reckoning of those words 4 titanic creatures erupted from the ground surrounding Kodbromaal, those more cultured observers being able to tell their nature being that of level 80 Cherubim Gatekeepers, heads and manes of lions with a total of four wings, with one pair of wings stretched out and another pair folded around them. Clad in a suit of shining armor, they were armed with a shield adorned with eye patterns in one hand and a lance of fire in the other.

He knew that even as OP that spell was the 4 summoned creatures wouldn't be able to kill the floor boss, but it would keep him occupied for a time period, in which he hoped his owner would move his ass and call him off. Even after doing all of that he was still falling, so while biting his finger mutter quietly while pointing his hand to the ground.

"Ptaksie" Where a small house sized cloud of white smoke would erupt, only to dissipate and reveal a similarly sized turtle. Why did he need to summon in such a elaborate way, or at all? Well you see, he created Ptaksie thinking he would look Jiraiya, an older classic from the early 2000s, but nobody understood the reference and those who did called him a dirty weeb. Anyways that's not the issue, while ptaksie didn't posses any great fighting capabilities and even worse movement capabilities it had a lot of storing space, allowing Arael to maintain his habit of keeping a clear inventory.

So with his second sigh of the day he would begin reaching into his mounts storage as he started pulling mana potions, ready to cast mass resurrection over and over until he got back all of the soldiers.

Soon enough, on the other side of the field, Adramelech was already on the scene. Already connected to the main ship, who would have limited sight due to the sudden appearance of black skies he would notice the anthropomorphic cat with a surprisingly high mana signature.

"Madam Lilith, there's seems to be a cat beastman of a high level responsible for the black skies. What are your orders?" He would say, taking care to both put emphasis on the cat part and to ask Lilith for instructions, since he argued she was the most sensible.

Vail
Interactions/Mentions: L Libero ChazGhost ChazGhost The throne had started becoming colder with each passing moment, the feeling of ice threatening to seize his body as the hourglass slowly moved towards its last granule of sand. The time that would mark the end of this glorious guild hall, and the end of the beautiful world that he had once known. Glancing about the room left him with the same void as before, no one had entered as of yet- maybe the rest of the guild members had already logged off, unwilling to endure the pain of losing this game. Reaching his hand out he started to open his menu, but seeing that he was alone would only amplify that feeling further. Swiping his hand before he removed the menu, there was no reason to make staying behind in this world any harder than it needed to be.

Ten-seconds remained on the clock, it all passed so quickly. The final moment of this world drew near, and to conclude it Vail shut his eyes. Zero, the final second that the world of YGGDRASIL would have. Appearing before him was a bright white screen which slowly faded away as the image of the world tree appeared, "Thank you for playing!" printed in large golden letters presented themselves as an overlay to this piece of art. The menu music began to play- or at least that's what he thought would happen. In the distance, he could see the image of one of the many maids that had been within The Crypt of Lover's Ruin, opening his eyes to look at her caused him to sit forward in disbelief. She wasn't supposed to even come to this area until a few hours from now unless another member messed with her code before the games final moments. On another note, had the shutdown been delayed? If so he would've received a message, feverishly he attempted to open his menu, this just resulted in him tapping at the air almost as though he had been pointing.

That was strange, the menu should've been opening- Wait! Had the NPC just talked without him interacting beforehand? That was impossible though, the NPCs in the game were meant to operate strictly off what orders had been given to them. Walking in here was one thing, but to address him with such a manner... it was like she was real. Perhaps the NPCs were just acting strange from a new update of some form, this whole YGGDRASIL closing thing could be a lie- and somehow he was caught in the middle of patching the game while playing. He knew that was impossible, but it was all he could do to rationalize the situation before him.

Holding a hand up he silenced her, "Think nothing of it. I was in contemplation myself, have you arrived early? I don't recall this location's cleaning until later in the day." He stated and stood from the throne, the cold stone pressed into his form in an uncanny way. It felt almost real... unnaturally so.

'Why does this seem so real to me... maybe I went unconscious while playing and this is all a dream. It seems like the only option- and yet...'

Pulling himself from his thoughts he began to move towards the maid, she was only a short distance from him so moving hastily was unneeded. "Yes, My Lord. I imagined that this room might be a bit of a mess, for that to be is absolutely unacceptable. I apologize for my tardiness until the current moment." She apologized earnestly, Vail shook his head and placed a hand on her shoulder. As soon as his hand met with her skin his body seemed to pulse, a ravenous feeling began to fill his senses. As he continued to look at her this odd feeling began to pull forward, threatening to tear out of him. The tendrils within him began to stir and slowly reach towards her, he pulled his hand away before they had the opportunity. "Good. I'm certain you will continue the good work." He appeared unperturbed by the odd compulsion that threatened to overtake him not a moment ago, going so far as to present a small smile in response. With that, he began to walk towards the door.

As he moved he attempted to open the menu again, but it still returned to him with nothing. Frustration began to set in before he stopped entirely, standing still as a thought crossed his mind. Thinking back to a few months ago, he faintly remembered that one of his colleagues mentioned an anime with a situation similar to this. Isekai? That sounded right, the characters in the show had apparently evoked their magic by thinking about the spells. Feeling the magic course through them before using it, perhaps you had to actually concentrate on the spell rather than let the server do it for you? Holding his hand up he cupped it as though he were holding a bowl, "Minor Illusion" he spoke on a whim as the form of a wooden bowl appeared in his hand. Tossing the bowl upwards he waited for it to fall down, moving his hand out of its path he allowed it to smash into the floor. No sound came from this, instead, the item dissipated into the faintest vapors of smoke. As it vanished, the faintest hints of a smirk came to his lips, perhaps magic would be even easier to perform here than he'd expected.

The sound of something moving caused him to look up, the maid had been heading further into the chamber to continue her cleaning. In his absentmindedness something had arrived next to him, something that looked akin to a flaming skull floated in the air towards him. In its mouth was a rolled up piece of parchment, "For you. My lord" the skull stated quietly without so much as moving its jaw. Vail took the parchment and nodded to the wraith before it vanished altogether. Unraveling the parchment proved to be somewhat interesting, apparently, Fovos had been trapped in this world as well. Vail smiled at this notice, it was comforting to know he wasn't the only one stuck in this situation.

"Message: Demetria." He spoke aloud as he thought about the situation. "My lord, do you require the powers of The Calamity's Eye?" The somewhat youthful voice responded eagerly. Vail stood there for a moment in sheer shock, had PekiPeki actually made their NPC into that. Stilling himself he began to continue on with his request, regardless of how dumb he felt talking to the chuuni vampire. "Erect an army of undead, send them to search the area around The Crypt. We're no longer in Vanaheim, you can feel it... can't you?" He questioned her as he began fiddling with the ring on his finger, the black stone absorbing all light that even began to enter it. "Understood master. I vow upon the power of my Calamity gaze, I will not fail you." She responded before silence returned to his mind, with that he flickered. His form disappearing from the throne room before reappearing at the front gate, just within the doorway of the cathedral. Stepping forward he was met by a legion of undead beginning to walk off into the forest around them, each in formation as they began their search of the area. Reporting the information to Demetria, who then reported it to Vail.

Satisfied with what little info he had been granted he began his next course of actions. "Message: Fovos." He began, "It seems that at the very least, you and I remain. From what I can tell we've been either locked into the game. Or, given the realism of this world, we've gone through an anime troupe known as 'Isekai'. As for the location of the guild... it appears we've been transported to a forest of sorts, I can see a bell tower in the distance. Any idea where you wound up?"

Crypt of Lover's Ruin - Vast Seas | Entity.Eclypse Entity.Eclypse

Damn. Exams sucked.

Aurora grumbled to herself as she floated upside-down in the water, attempting to take her mind off of the colossal tower of textbooks lurking just outside the sweet illusion that was Yggdrasil - the real world seriously sucked.

And it sucked even more that Yggdrasil was about to shut down. Dang, did the company go bankrupt? That probably wasn't it, there were thousands of fools blowing hundreds of dollars in the gacha and cash shop. Well, whatever. She slowly drifted toward a gargantuan Hydra that was sitting still on the seabed. She drifted right up to Orochi and snuggled up to it, crossing her arms and making a pouting face as the time approached midnight.

"Well, I need to get back to studying soon..." She groaned.

The timer reached midnight - Aurora sighed as she was force-logged out. Except for one small issue. She wasn't force-logged out. "Huh?" She murmured in response to a scratchy-feeling on her cheek. Did Yggdrasil always have the option to enable touch? She opened her eyes to be greeted with one of the heads of Orochi licking her cheek. Another one let out a whimper with puppy-eyes like a dog when it knew it had done something wrong. "Nani?!" She almost yelped out in surprise. Welp. "Did the devs troll us...? Whatever, I really nee-" the logout button wasn't there. Nor the HUD and Menu. "Nani the fuck? How do I contact the GM?!"

She held out the Guild ring: somebody here would know what's happening, right?

The ring ported her into the Guild Hall, alongside Orochi. "Hey Vail, my game broke. Menus disappeared and I can't find a logout button, is it only me or did the new update make everyone's games commit ritual suicide?" She chimed out upon seeing Vail. "The contact GM isn't working either."

Fovos was left with the sight of the dead bandit's bodies. Are these...NPCs? Since when were they so realistic...., Fovos thought to himself in his head. Moreover, he shouldn't even be in the game at all. His head was clouded with thoughts and questions that frustrated him. Snapping him back into reality, a loud ping could be heard. Looking around frantically, he was trying to pinpoint the origin of the sound. Was there another attacker I missed? Impossible....., suddenly on the top right of his field of view, what seemed like a scroll icon was visible and blinking red. It seemed as he was the only one who could hear that pinging sound and it was coming from this icon. Fovos tried using his hand to touch the icon but it didn't work, it was like a HUD built in his vision. Testing to see if it would work, he quietly said to himself 'Mail', and sure enough, it worked. A scroll unraveled in front of him and read out a message from one of his guild's members, Vail. He explained that the 2 of them were the supposedly only ones left in the guild and that they were trapped inside the game, similar to the Isekai phenomenon in anime. In the real world, Price watched countless animes and knew very well the term isekai, but to think that he himself would experience it was crazy to him. Following it, Vail replied that the guild seemed to be in a forest and that he could see a bell tower. He believed his guild mate's words and took out a scroll from his inventory by simply saying 'Inventory, scroll'. He replied with 'I can see the bell tower too, I'm in a ghost town. I'm on my way'. Short and concise, that was what Fovos was known for.

After finishing up with the scroll, he scavenged the dead bodies of the bandits once more. On what seemed to be the leaders body judging from the armor and weapons being better than the others, was a folded piece of paper. It was a warning from a council of some sort. He took the note and kept it with him. He was curious and wanted to find out more. His body was craving to get down to the bottom of this. He stood up and looked around him. There were 2 visible routes he could take. He could go north and follow the towering bell or he could go west which led to a forest. Taking the west route would most likely lead him to his guild's base. He couldn't stop his curious mind and decided to take the west route in hopes of finding out what exactly this council is. Lastly, he took out a scrolled and wrote a message to Vail, 'Sorry, I'm going to investigate something. I won't be at the guild for a while'.

With that, Fovos followed the north route until he reached a city. Fovos memorized all the cities in YGGDRASIL but has never seen this city before. Where exactly was he? He continued to walk through the city. With the lack of information he had, it was hard for him to find where and what this council exactly is. And so, Fovos began asking the NPCs for information about the council.

"You all should not speak of things you do not understand." A voice, smooth and silky came from no where. Then, a tree split open and a beautiful green energy could be seen inside. From this rift stepped out Evangeline. As she stepped out she wore a sweet smile and the tree behind her closed. As a God Druid, there was little she could not do with nature. As she stepped forward the black and white fur robe slid behind her. There was grace and beauty to every move she made. She stepped between Snow and the twins and smiled as she stood in front of the village folk. Her hands gently folded in front of her. She was the picture of regal standing and grace.

Her head turned to Jyeen and Something with a smile "You two mistake me for being some evil ruler bent on destruction and conquering a world. I guess my words were a bit ill spoken, so forgive me for my mistake. Also, If you wish to call me a child, let it be known that my age and power far exceed you and if you wish to try and act as though you are above me I will not stand for it." With a bow she finishes her sentence, but there was a clear edge and power to her voice. It was no threat, but a promise. She then turns to Snow and smiles "While I appreciate you holding me in such high standing, I do not plan on extorting anything from these people. If you do respect me to the level you claim, please refrain from using my status as a means for trade." After than she smiled and then looked back. She chuckles and turns to the woods "My sweet dear. You did not have to come out here. I know I am your mother, but I am fine." From the woods came the loud, thunderous stomps. The ground shook and she could tell people were becoming afrain. Only more so after something came from the tree line. There, slowly walking up was the glowing green figure of Omnath, her very own NPC. He was at least 10 times the size of a normal bear and had rune covered antlers to boot. Omnath walked up to her and looked at Evangeline with his glowing eyes. Evangeline sighed and pet the massive bear which earned a nuzzle "Honestly, what am I to do with you?"

She took a moment to pet the surprisingly loving bear spirit and then turned to the villagers. She could see they were obviously horrified, but she stepped forward and offered a bow "
Forgive me if I scared you, but I feel there are a few things I must clear up." With that she began to sit. As she did a few roots grew up and formed a chair beneath her. She folded her hands in her lap and smiled "While I may or may not be a goddess, I am not an elf or even of elven decent. I am a spirit and queen of the Spirit Forest Syndicate. This scruffy gentlemen...." She gracefully motions to Snowdown "...is Snowdown. One of my most powerful warriors. These two...." She then motions over to Jyeen and Something "...are Jyeen and Something. They do not belong to me, but their creator was nice enough to loan them to me. That one..." She motions back to her large bear spirit companion who was, most likely, their biggest fear right now "....is Omnath. My personal creation and therefore my son. I am Evangeline. As I mentioned I am the queen of the Spirit Forest Syndicate which resides in the lost forest. Do to unknown forces, my forest and a few of the people I love more than anything have been teleported here and we have no idea where we are. I do not wish to take your land. I merely represent the forest and the forest we find ourselves in now. I want to know you and your people. I want to know all there is to know so I can better protect everything that calls my forest and this forest home. If you wouldn't mind I would like to ask about this world and what we can do to ensure the safety of all in these forests.. Would you mind talking with me?" She waves her hand and more roots sprout. The roots form a table and another three chairs across the table from her "If the village head, the lead hunter and the elder would be so kind as to talk with me?" She knew this was a good way to get herself seen as a good deity and someone to be trusted, but just in case, she also used her Evangelist class to sway their minds towards sitting and getting along with her, but in the end it was up to them. All she could do is make them feel more inclined to sit with her.

Mallow / Nori

"Great! We are now a three units party then!" Mallow pulled out another item from her inventory, this one was a party popper. She pulled the string and the popper explode into confetti that formed a sentence.

Cobalt has joined your party.

"I am Mallow, top rank loot booster, the winner of the first and last Heaven's Gala event and the vice-leader of the Dining Table Guild." Mallow puffed her chest as she mentioned a small potion of her achievements in YGGDRASIL. "That one is Nori... just Nori. Nori! Come here and greet our new company!"

Nori didn't respond. Mallow approached the kneeling Nori and tapped his shoulder.

"Earth to Nori. Please respond, over."

"......"

Mallow looked at the dwarf's corpse in front of him, then to the lifelessness in Nori's eyes. It's like Nori's soul had logged off and this body was no more than an empty husk.

"Nori!" Mallow gave Nori a hard slap. Nori collaped onto the ground, but at least his eyes now looking directly at Mallow.

"M-mallow. I... killed him."

"What nonsense! He is an NPC! No need to be that upset." Mallow rolled her eyes at Nori's rudiculous reason for being all gloomy like this.

"B-but I felt his neck snapped against my hand. I'm a murderer. I can't face my mother anymore like this."

"Ema Winsheart!" Mallow tackled Nori onto the ground and start hitting him in the face. "Snap out of it you dimwit! Killed an NPC? Can't meet your mother? I thought we will have an epic superamazingandcool adventure in this world, but you decided to treat this world like a normal one."

Since Nori didn't gave any further response, Mallow stopped her assault and walked towards the gold pit.

"Cobalt, help me pack all the gold. We will be going soon." Mallow jumped on to the pit and start scooping the golds into her inventory portal. While it's easy to pour all these gold out, putting all back in would took quite a long time. Especially when Mallow did the task while still sulking about Nori.

"There are many reasons why i limited conversing with you, though at least I can say for certain my self has not changed" perhaps carrying another meaning within her words as she continues to stare down at him before back around to the people around with a passive expression "Though you are correct regarding the need to live with the repercussions at least". Given the reaction of the two players already had set her on alert to stay aware of such impulses, the speed at which they adopted the role of conquerers not a moment after arriving at the unknown area raised questions. How did they seem to view the villagers she wondered? was then focus was on the result and what could be provided? a means to a end? The changes that had already been made apparent were concerning so an additional level of unknowns was all the more frustrating.

Meaning while the child keeps her wide grin as the wolf kneels down to her "Hmm i guess that works, just comes across as a bit of a bully when you walk in a brand new place like you own it right?" letting off another giggle and faint tilt to her head before the guild master appeared.

Jyeen just stares at the woman throughout the show "I judge based on your actions and words, both of which reveal the truth...and these eyes can see through a great many acts" she keeps the gaze a few moments longer before sharing one with something who gives a faint nod after an unspoken exchange. "And we understand quite a bit more than you would expect, but given that idiots orders ill let the deception and idle threats pass for now, so carry on with your role play as long as your remember this isn't your wonderland" once again her words carrying weight and a second meaning perhaps but she remains stoic. The smaller child looking up to the bear for a moment before going to sit down on the table, allowing her senses to scan around the forest and the various minds within, they were here for information gathering and well that's what she might as well do...having already unleashed a handful of worms on the way over that sought out nuggets of interest.

Vail
Interactions/Mentions: ChazGhost ChazGhost L Libero LostHaven LostHaven Vail stood by the entrance of the guild, facing out to the vast dark forest that seemed to surround them. The bell tower seemed to be the only definitive point that he could notice, he would continue to watch until the legion of undead vanished from his sight and into the trees. "Message: Gm." He attempted "Are you intentionally locking players in the game?" He asked only for a moment of silence to fill the air around him. Before he had time to think about it, his own voice returned to his mind and it seemed as though he was being blocked in some way. The more he thought about it, the more he believed that this was some other world... this definitely required further testing. His form would reappear in the guildhall a moment later, after seeing off their scouts he no longer had reason to stay at the entrance to the guild- or not currently at least. As his form reappeared in the hall he noticed the emptiness of the location again, only to immediately be redacted as two figures phased into the room. Based on the smell of salt-water, and fish, he recognized them immediately as Aurora and Orochi, and the immediate chiming of her voice served to further evidence his suspicions.

Glancing to her pet he was immediately alerted to how much life it seemed to have, normally he saw it as being stagnant or even dull. But it seemed to be an actual creature now, something that truly functioned as any other lifeform may. "Funny you would mention that. Fovos and I have had a similar situation occur, which leads me to believe this may not be YGGDRASIL anymore." He began before offering a slight smile, his expression was difficult to read- it wasn't really one that you could easily see the true intent behind. Honestly, a smile could have a thousand meanings, each one reflecting a different mixture of emotions. "I'm sure you've noticed it yourself, everything seems far too real as of recent. Take your beloved Orochi for example, I imagine you could feel every intricacy of his scales. It's almost like it lets us bypass the restrictions that the game had." He paused to ponder for just a moment, the idea of being transported to this world wasn't as shocking surprisingly. Maybe the initial shock had worn off? Instead of that slight feeling of confusion or even concern, he now felt an unrivaled curiosity as to what this new world may allow them to do.

After a moment he noticed the spectral form of the skull floating up to him yet again, Vail shook his head before muttering "Wouldn't it be simpler to just speak?" his voice contained in vague audibility. Reaching out he took the scroll from the figure before nodding to it once more, it's figure vanished into nothing almost as quickly as it had arrived. Unraveling the scroll yet again he read through the contents of the parchment, upon finishing he tossed it to the side where blue flames tore its form into nothingness. Going off on their own to investigate was expected from his guild-mates... Fovos in particular. Then again, having a player out investigating would likely yield faster results than the army of scouting undead- he had movements speed over them for sure. Turning his attention back to Aurora he continued on with his explanation, "It seems that the members of our guild who remained logged-on until the countdown ended have been transported to another world. In other words, we've been isekai'd." He suggested before rolling his shoulders back, the skin around his neck changing to a pigment of red before reverting to its prior state.

"I've sent undead to scout the area around us, and Fovos is investigating something he discovered on the outside world. So I hope to have information on the world around us within the next few hours." Reaching a hand up to his 'hair' he began to mess around with it for just a moment, doing his damndest to flatten the ahoge-style hair to collapse with the rest to no avail. "From there we can plan out our next move. Until that time comes I want to ensure that this isn't just some bug, along with attempting to learn what we can do in this world." He stated before holding his hand out, it's coloration turned to a bloodlike red as it began to shapeshift. It's form changing between different shapes, the heads of creatures, a syringe, and then eventually returned to its normal form. "From what I can tell, our powers from YGGDRASIL have transferred over. But beyond that, I'm not too sure." He stated before reaching a hand up to his temple and pressed two fingers against it. "Message: Fovos." He began, "If you learn anything that could be important, ensure that you report back to me." He finished the message there before lowering his hand again, perhaps his vocal messages were being transferred to Fovos as scrolls- yet they moved as audio to Demetria. There wasn't a point in worrying about that for now, with that he turned back to Aurora- perhaps she'd have some insight on the matter?

Location: City-State of Norvain

The travel to the northern city took a few hours on foot. As Fovos got closer he could see the walls of a large city, the building appearing over the edges of the wall were that of a gothic style. And the bell tower itself was truly an ah inspiring sight, looming tall over all other buildings.

As he reached one of the city opened gates, the guards simply commented "Huh never seen that adventurer before"

"Probably a new one from a village or another city," the other guard said like it was nothing new.

Inside the city, it seemed almost like a maze with building packed close together with narrow alleyways going in almost any direction. As Fovos began asking around for information on the council, he received mixed responses, none of the wichs were good. Some people had no idea of what the council was, others just ignored Fovos after he brought it up, and the guards straight up warned him not to bring up those rumors.

Places of note in the city: Bell Tower square- in the center of town was where the bell tower stood with a large clock face appearing in the middle of the tower. On the entrance to the tower, there was a sign stating "do not enter". The door was also locked.

The markets- In an area with large streets there were several stands selling food and trinkets. There also proper shop in building in an area consisting of a blacksmith, general store, and more.

Kings court- In the near back of town stood a large mansion that was used for the kings home as well as his place of work. The building had many stone gargoyle statues all across the building.

The dwarf was now dead thanks to Nori not understand his strength or the durability of the locals. On Tohappi were a map of the local area, a small pouch of coins (still made of gold but with marking different from YGGDRASIL currency), and a hand ax. Not too far away was a dirt road was Tohappi cart sat with two horses and severe crates laying in the cart. If one were to open the crate they would find different metal ores (mainly iron and copper), and coal. Further down the road to the north was a very small village.

The divination meteor flew into the far, far Northwest.

The people of the village were surprised as large women appeared almost out of nowhere without making a sound. " A child how could child make those lights?" A dwarf asked.

"Maybe it was a baby goddess?" a human said before getting smacked across the back of the head.

Then another person appeared from the woods, a large muscular man this time. "So now she's a spirit queen? I thought she was a kid?" The same dwarf asked.

"Maybe she's a young spirit?" The same human said getting another smack across the back of the head.

Then the villagers watched as the two new combers seemed to have a short argument over how to do the questioning. Then a tree split opened to create a portal to which the spirit queen stepped out. "Oh, there weren't b*llsh*ting us..." the dwarf said as the spirit queen put her allies into in their place. Then spirit queen introduced herself and her companions... and large green bear that almost made several people go for there weapons before Evangeline calmed the beast down. After Evangeline asked about meeting with the elder, head hunter and the village head the villager looked at each other as the started trying to figure what was exactly going on. After a short discussion, the dwarf walked over to the group of strangers. "Okay decide we'll let you meet elder, the hunter, and the village head but they also are asking you question so we can figure what in the name of the mountain is going with you people. You got it?" the dwarf asked.

If everyone agreed, the dwarf would lead them a building larger then the others but not by much. Inside a large table and many chairs, along with a fireplace in the corner and trophies of hunts hanging over it. "You all wait here in the town hall while we get the three you asked for," the dwarf said.

A few minutes later a dwarf with a long white beard, a human with several scars across his body, and fairly well dressed older man walked in. The three men sat down at the table. The welled dressed man spoke up first. "I'm Markest Tang, the village head, the dwarf next to me in Aramaen Lightdigger, the eldest of our village. The man brandishing the scars is my brother Devan Tang. Now I've seen the lights from the village and heard about your entrance. This has me wondering who exactly are you people? You introduced yourselves to the others but lights on that scale and coming out the trees is something not even elves can do" the villager's head said, with scoff coming form the dwarfs when elves were mentioned.

The bodies that littered the battlefield coagulated into an enormous, black blob of deathly energy. It took Alexiel a few moments to realize what it was - 8th Tier Magic, Requiem of Hades. She wasn't too familiar on how the spell worked, as her creator, Faust, has never cast the spell before. However, even she knew that what would occur next probably wouldn't work in her favor - a bit too late, though.

She held out her hand, and immediately began to cast a spell. "7th Tier Magic, Divi-"

Before Alexiel's spell could even deploy, she was struck with a beam of darkness that threw her off her feet, and sent the paladin skidding backward across her back for several feet - offering a brief window of escape. For all it's worth, her gauntlet granted immunity against Holy - the same couldn't be said for the opposite element, however. Dang, she'd have to break her creator's bones one by one until he gave her a solution to that...

Recognizing that her prey was now free to escape, Alexiel attempted to recover to her feet. She had done so swiftly, and yet, when she did, she suddenly fell to her knees again, covering her mouth with her gauntleted hand as a brilliant stream of crimson seeped through the gaps between her fingers.

Damn. That spell really did a number on her, as indicated by the sheer volume of blood she had just coughed up. Rhongomyniad was now lodged in the ground several feet away from Alexiel, where she was originally standing prior to being struck by the blasted magic. Unfortunately, Alexiel's prized lance was further to her than it was to Alevia, and even if she were to lunge forward with all her might, all it took Alevia was the extending of a single hand.

"Shit!" She cursed loudly promptly before another spray of blood escaped from her lips. Just her luck. If she had known there'd be opponents powerful enough to cast 8th Tier Magic, she'd have come better equipped.

Aleiva quickly began trying to break free from the dark paladin's grasp, but her strength seemed too much. She forcefully listened to dark paladin speech as she heals some of her comrades and killed more with one massive spell. After the speech, Alevia looked down for second before laughing. "You know I pity you for whatever past you had. For whatever made you turn out the way you are. You say the god care, not for me or the others, yet your only proof is only a spell" Alevia said with surprisingly brave. "No matter what you do to me, I will not surrender and know the Artisans would rather die than bend a knee to those as corrupt as you!" Alevia said before awaiting her end...

But instead, the sky turned dark and powerful magic struck the dark paladin, making her fall to her knees and releasing Alevia... and as well a powerful weapon. Alevia was greatly surprised by what just happened but quickly moved. Alevia picked up the weaponed dropped by the dark Paladin and made hast to woods were her men retreat... and where hopefully most of them survived...

Meanwhile, while the Magitech soldier and newly appearing angels began distracting Elsimore and Kodbromaal respectively the Drider general was retreating with his none robotic troops. The Drow mages began casting gate spells to create a portal back to base. This would take time though to get all the soldier through, so until everyone else retreated the Drider general stayed behind guarding the portals until the rest of his men left.

The younger soldier and dwarf followed Perry and the other soldier back to the edge of battle in time to see their fellow soldiers and enemies turning black. The three didn't know what to make of it. The little beastman they had just found, casted a spell beyond anything they had ever seen and it also seemed to used energy from the corpses to attack. But on the other hand, the spelled seemed to hit the monstrously powerful creatures who appeared out of nowhere given Alevia and the rest of their soldier enough time to retreat. "I don't know what you've just done but I thank you for it" the soldier who picked up Perry before said.

Soon after Alevia, with her new lance, and the other soldiers began running into the forest as the others did before. Alevia herself ran into Perry and his group. She looked at the best man for a moment before saying "If you're the one who cast the spell earlier, we'll have much to discuss but for now run!". Afterward, Levia, the dwarf and the two human soldier began running into the forest and toward the direction of their fort...

Ten minutes.

It had barely been ten minutes, and Kodbromaal was now standing atop a mountain of shattered armour, metal, and sloppy circuitry. The strange machine-soldiers did not relent down to the last unit, but unfortunately, their might was on a different caliber to that required to siege and defeat the Living Fortress. With a single swipe of his immense sword, another two-dozen machines fell to the former Primal Dragon's undying wrath.

"Come, swarm by the thousands, insects! Come, so that I may squash you by the hundreds!" Kodbromaal screamed loudly at the Magitech soldiers, though his taunts fell on deaf ears. Soon after came the 8th Tier Spell, Requiem of Death. The beam of shadow connected with Kodbromaal immense figure - perhaps this was enough to grant the Magitech soldiers their opening?

As the dust settled, the colossal knight's looming figure still yet stood, taller than ever. Not a single scratch blemished the surface of his armour, as if he had taken no damage at all. Then, came the Cherubs. Four towering creatures, hundred times larger than the knight.
"How long will you send these meaningless pawns?!" Kodbromaal yelled, unaware that they had been summoned by Arael.

"COME, FOOLISH KEEPERS! I WILL TEACH YOU TRUE STRENGTH, AND I WILL SHOW YOU THAT YOU ARE UNWORTHY OF YOUR FLEETING TITLE!"
Following his mocking shout, Kodbromaal brandished his greatsword, and leaped at the first one. Kodbromaal was simply an ant compared to it, and yet, when he landed on the first one's shoulder, he swung his greatsword which connected with the creature's head. A shockwave rang throughout the entire battlefield, as if a meteor had impacted the earth. The creature's head flew straight off its torso, landing onto the ground with another shockwave.

The second Cherub was less lucky - Kodbromaal jumped from the freshly slain cherub to the next. For a moment, the juggernaut of a knight disappeared into the sky. Then, he came down at the second target with frightening velocity - he impacted with the second Cherub's head, with so much force that his entirety pierced through the Cherub's body. Moments passed... Then, an explosion of blood and flesh rang from the Cherub's chest, as Kodbromaal leapt out from the massive cavity before the Cherub fell to the ground, dead.

Landing onto the bloodied battlefield, Kodbromaal set his eyes on the third. He began to slowly trudge toward it - each heavy footstep ringing throughout the earth. The cherub raised its spear, the weapon falling down toward him... It never made contact with the ground. Instead, as the Cherub attempted to retrieve the spear, it would realize the spear would not budge. Then, with a hefty tug, the spear came free of the Cherub's hand.
"YOU CALL THIS A WEAPON?! YOU ARE MERELY FLAILING SOME POINTY STICK AROUND, YOU BRAINLESS HUNK OF MEAT AND FUR!" Kodbromaal hollered as he hoisted the spear, which was several times larger than himself, and launched it toward his opponent, striking it dead in the chest. The third fell.

Finally, Kodbromaal approached the fourth. It attempted to slam Kodbromaal with its shield, only for the monster to leap onto the back of the creature's hand, and sprinted up its arm while the Cherub desperately attempted to shake him off. Then, Kodbromaal leapt toward its head, lodging his sword right into the lion's forehead. Then, he began to slide down the entire length of its body, the greatsword creating a clean incision as he landed onto the ground. Then, as Kodbromaal turned his back and made his way toward the defeated Alexiel, the Cherub behind him split in half clean down the middle, its innards spilling out and bathing the battlefield in its divine blood...

Xylzrilyn
Battlefield | ChazGhost ChazGhost

Alexiel snarled with murderous intent as she finally regained her footing, her lance now taken from her. "Curse you, Paladin..." She growled under her breath. Though, technically, Alexiel was aware that it wasn't Alevia who had cast Requiem of Hades, but as of current, she was the only target to take her own frustration out on. She held out her hand: "8th Tier Magic: Judgement of Iniquity-"

"Fall back immediately, Alexiel Pendragon." A voice rang from behind her. Alexiel stopped her spell to look back - and found herself face-to-face with a blonde woman... Or was it a man? Alexiel squinted her eyes for a moment, before promptly giving up. Nobody could tell what gender Xylzrilyn was, anyways. They sported a butler outfit, and a smug grin was spread across the Doppleganger's face. ''I see, you've lost that lance of yours that you are so proud of.'' They taunted the paladin. They were only adding fuel to Alexiel's animosity.

''Have you come to gloat, Xylzrilyn?'' Alexiel growled.

''No, not quite. You see, little Alexiel, I'm doing you a favor and getting your beloved lance back.'' Xylzrilyn chirped as they continued to mock their comrade. ''Now, be a good girl, and return to the Sky Fortress.'' Alexiel was practically seething, though she didn't seem to hold any objections. ''I'll clean this up.''

With that, the Doppleganger disappeared from sight, cloaked by shadow.

----------------

As Alevia and her comrades fled into the woods, they would come across a solider - his armour was in abysmal condition, dented and torn, and the soldier himself was covered in grievous wounds. He awkwardly limped out from the woods, mumbling some sort of plea for help. ''He... lp... They had a... monster...'' He croaked with his last breath, before the soldier collapsed, unconscious.

Then, from the forest, a huge, mechanical-like soldier not dissimilar to the Magitechs followed suit. A level 50 'Ancient Sentinel'. It surveyed its surroundings before promptly locking on to the escapees.

It looks like they weren't getting away that easily.

    Candy Crusher
Crypt of Lover's Ruin - Treasury
    Hall of Values

    Interaction: Drevis
    Mention: ChazGhost ChazGhost
To see the true glory of Midnight's Lost Children, one must first visit the Hall of Values. Treasures gathered over years of accumulation displayed their splendour in plain sight. Legacy Class items and pieces of equipment piled against white jade pillars with no importance attached. Even a few Relic Class items could be seen between them. The truly valuable and precious were held in display cases from Faerie Glass and Bluenite Alloy, attached to the walls.

At the centre of the hall, two figures stood in front of two items. One was a tall, lean man dressed in a luxurious red cloak. His face exuded youth, but none who had glanced into his eyes dare to look down on him for his youth. Those who stared longer would see a pair of eyes, sharp as a blade and treacherous as Hell. Those who unwisely continued to look would be petrified by the sheer domineering force behind the mockingly red eyes.

The second figure was a woman dressed in white. If the man was sharp and overbearing, she was pure and tranquil. Her beauty only matched his dashing look, but those who chanced upon the scene would be surprised. She was a step behind the man. Her head was lowered ever so slightly. The man had closed his eyes for several minutes in front of the two World Class items, yet the woman remained quiet and accompanied him. Their relation was not that of equal. But of that of a master and servant. Drevis was her master. Candy was his servant.

A sharp inhale caused Candy Crusher to lift her head. The man's body trembled. He clenched his fist and muttered some words under his breath. Words she did not understand. What did "Call GM" mean? What branch was "Log Out" spell from? What was the meaning of the waving and pointing her master did with his hands? Unable to hold back her concern any longer, Candy stepped to her master's side and asked,

"Master, what magic are you trying to cast?"

The man turned his head. His expression, however, caused her to regret her curiosity. Calmness replaced the violent glint in his eyes in the blink of an eye, but the emotion she saw was etched deeply in her mind. What could cause her master to panic so?

"Just a small problem, my daughter." A hand ruffled her hair. It looked a bit strange since she was as tall as he was, but Candy relaxed when she noticed her master was smiling. Master Drevis still smiled, so everything was still alright.

"Alright," Candy nodded, relieved. "is there anything I need to do, Master?"

"Break the edge of Canopy Bed in Scale of Balance and bring it to me."

    "Alright!"
She answered and headed to her room, but a voice stopped her.

    "Candy."

    She halted. "Yes?"

"If you are to fight an Evil Lord, what will you do?"

"I will follow your command, master,"
she answered without a shred of hesitation. She did not question why he chose to ask her so at that moment. He was her Creator, but separate from others, he was also her God and the object of her faith. Drevis nodded and beckoned her close.

"Forget about my previous order and answer me. What if I am not available?"

"Then... I'll follow as you taught me!"

Drevis raised an eyebrow, prompting her to continue. Candy gathered her thought and started recounting the plan she had followed for a long time.

"First, I will cast Sacred Duel to prevent him from running away. Then I will cast Forbidden Ground to prevent the usage of divine and devilish magic before employing a hit-and-run tactic to whittle out the demon army an Evil Lord could summon. I'll wear Hell Agent's Mask to nullify damage from hellfire and block the brunt of physical damage using Earthly Flail while using Earthly Spells to bypass the blockage on divine magic."

After Candy finished her explanation, Drevis remained silent. Doubt crept up her mind. Did she make a mistake?

"Um, for Evil Lord of Wrath with its high physical strength, I'll cast Profound We-"

    "Your answer is satisfactory,"
Drevis waved her away. Then he asked her another question, this time regarding the theory behind Divine-Earthly Magic Conversion, the basis in which she managed to separate herself from God and pledged her loyalty to Drevis. Many questions followed after, spanning from simple questions such as the name of the Guild Master to advance combat technique and war strategy.

After the questions were finished, what followed was a series of tests and experiments. Drevis asked her to cast Earthly Greater Heal on him, summon angels to fight his summoned demons, and various other tests. After Candy watched her master cast the 8th Tier Spell Reverse Summon -- and turned a group of summoned succubuses back into the money he offered to summon them, Drevis, at last, nodded in satisfaction.

"Prepare to leave. We will head to the guildhall."

    "Yes!"

After a solid bow, Candy retreated to the Scale of Balance. It would be a lie to say she wasn't nervous. To think that Master suddenly tested her comprehension and wisdom! It was great she did not disappoint him with her performance.

Cobalt looked at Nori who was still shaken. Cobalt first pinched himself. He felt the pain. Not only that he could also smell the honeyshuckle trees from the forest. That means it was all real. Nori... maybe accidentally, had killed the dwarf.

Looking at Nori one last time he then proceeded to help Mallow put the gold to her inventory. He looked at Mallow, her face had a worried expression.

"He'll be alright..." He reassured her,"But I also think that the dwarf might have been really died... I dunno how, but I don't think we are in the game anymore...."
