I actually did the same thing and looked up that song on YouTube. Great pick.
:)
I'm all hot and bothered by your Blaire. Seriously he's great.

@SayGoodKnight

Lol! Thank you. I've never really played an evil character before, so he's a lot of fun!
:)

And even though Eddie is a deplorable individual, you gotta admit, he's got a lot of charm and refinement to him, and you really bring that through. Rork's a lot of fun to toy with as well.
xD

wow I never would have guessed you weren't a seasoned villain. Well done!

Thank you :3 Eddie is an interesting character to play. A very strange head space to be in to say the least. Poor little Rork. He just wants to leave.

@SayGoodKnight

Hmm. Maybe I've discovered my true calling. There are a lot of great evil characters out there to draw inspiration from, so it wasn't as difficult as anticipated. My main worry was that I'd make Jeremy go soft without realising it, and I very nearly did, but I don't want anyone feeling sorry for him. He's an evil corporate douchebag through and through, and he'll stay that way till the end.
:)

Yeah, Eddie's a huge undertaking. He's no doubt one of the most messed up video game characters ever made. Gotta give you kudos for that, and doing it so well.

I usually prefer Villains, RPs almost always lack them and they usually have much more interesting motivations since morals are out of the window. Your Blaire is great though so if he's your first you should for sure continue pursuing the dark side. THE BEST SIDE.

When I played Whistleblower I was hesitant to think they could top any of the sickness in the main game. I WAS WRONG. My male friend and I played it together (to keep from crying and to take turns when the stress became too much. Lots of "I DON'T WANT TO OPEN THE DOOR I'M AFRAID." And the him "YOU HAVE TO. JUST OPEN THE DOOR. OH MY GOD WE SHOULDN'T HAVE OPENED THE DOOR") and we were shocked by Eddie. He was practically crying (being a straight male he was pretty traumatized by the whole thing) and I was just stunned by all of it. Eddie's a beast.

@SayGoodKnight

I most definitely should! I was actually signing myself up for a villainy role for a different RP, but unfortunately, it seems to have died off before I got the chance to join.

Aww, sorry to hear about your friend. I can only imagine that a lot of it would be hard to stomach, which is probably one of the major aspects of Outlast that I really enjoy. A lot of horror games like to paint the walls in red and leave bloody entrails lying around the place like set pieces, but Outlast really pushed the boundaries to deliver more authenticity to its setting, though Eddie's, erm, "sculptures" were a whole new level of messed up.

I think my tolerance for horror games is coming to a peak, so I don't get as frightened by them anymore, but Whistleblower certainly made me drop my jaw a couple of times out of complete shock.

@Mortal Recoil

Well find another one to spread your baddie wings. You deserve it.

I love horror games because I get scared. I live a pretty mundane life (live alone, work an office etc) so getting the blood pumping is awesome. And Outlast kept me stressed to the max the entire time which was delightful. My poor friend liked it too though Eddie was too much for him x D

@DarlingWaylonPark

Awh, thank you very much! I'm glad I happened to see this roleplay. I wasn't really looking to join a group, but as luck would have it, here I am.
:) If people are slow to join, maybe I can switch my OC for a canon role if needed.

@SayGoodKnight

I've been itching to do a Hannibal TV series-based roleplay, so that could be a nice place to start, if enough people were interested.

I love horror games too, but after playing through Silent Hill 1-4, Resident Evil Remaster, Alien: Isolation, Whistleblower and SOMA this year, it's like my capacity to feel fear while sitting in the dark, strapped in a pair of headphones, has just gone down the drain.
:( Outlast (the base game) was actually one of the last horror games that I actually had to take breaks from playing because it was too stressful, and I certainly could not have played it with the lights off/headphones on.

RIGHT?! We played it in the dark with surround sound so the MOTHER FUCKING VARIANTS sounded like they were literally behind us, too scary.

But if you do end up doing something Hannibal and need players let me know! I adored the movies, books and the TV show so count me in if you ever want to put something together : 3

I've been a HUGE horror game fan since I was in my teens. My first introduction of course being Silent Hill and Resident Evil. But years later I played Amnesia the Dark Decent, screw a machine for pigs that game sucked, and Outlast of course. I don't know if this makes me warped but after multiple times playing and watching both Outlast and Whistleblower I've gotten used to Trager and Eddie. xD

I come back and everyone's chillin' in the ooc. xD Omg.
I guess Eddie and Waylon can have a short break. Remind of how far the male ward is from the vocational ward? If it's close the noise might piss of Mr. Gluskin but I can't make a mental map at the moment.

The male ward is linked to the Vocational Block actually! :D It's by the gym where Eddie's "Christmas Decorations" are! xD

Waylon: Oh! Well in that case, I love it! Because you made it for me, and you make things so beautiful! *Nervous Smile and hugs Eddie*

[QUOTE="Mortal Recoil]I'll give Trager and Miles some time to let their fight pan out before continuing.

Yea, I'm just waiting for Trager to respond, teehee. >:3
