She isn't the most loyal person to be friends with and can at times be arrogant, she somewhat balances this out though by being an interesting person to talk to, yet not in the interesting most would expect, when caught in a good mood she will have plenty of things to talk about. When not caught in a good mood though more likely than not a simple shrug, irritated groan or glare is to be expected.

She is a bit of a hardass, although not as much as most would think. Chloe only really does what she does to benefit herself and at times can come off as rude as she forgets to think of others before thinking of herself. Born in Astoria, Oregon to a long line of high-ranking civil servants and important government officials, both regional and national. Chloe's life has always really been centered around doing her part for the community, whatever community that may be. The Peck family originally being from Oregon but having branched out over large parts of the US over their generations Chloe found herself having many cousins and uncles from all over the country. The most prominant of all her non-immediate relatives being her Uncle Franklin in New York. Franklin was the former Warden for a particular prison in the state, one of which he thought his niece would be a great addition to, in the job meaning of course. Chloe had proven herself both in her school life and in her free time to being a dedicated and hardworking person who would really do anything to succeed, a Peck family trait which others had considered almost vulture like. Almost instantly upon getting out of University, as she had gone directly to University rather than to college and having done work experience under the supervision of law enforcement, Chloe begun working her way towards her future career, corrections officer.

Nothing had really provoked her or pulled her towards that occupation, it was nothing other than a title she could add to her resume when she inevitably grew to be a senior official in whatever department, like many of the Pecks before her. However upon arrival at Litchfield at the age of 23, some red flaggish behavior was exhibited. Most noteable being the subtle abuse of authority every now and again, and the noticeable excitement at being in a position of power. Chloe has been talked to by a Counselor about this behavior 3 times as of the present day, and her power-hungry trait has seemed to have died down somewhat since then, she still exhibits some of this today. Of course outside of Litchfield Chloe had to find herself a new place to live, as her immediate family did all live back in Oregon still, she found a small, comfortable apartment in Litchfield, the town just near the Penitentiary. There she takes a regular 10 minute commute to the prison each morning, she is currently one of the higher up and more well respected guards in the prison due to her aspiring and hardworking attitude, but still answers to others in the prison. Much to her dismay.

Biography:

Blaze was born into a small middle class family in Brownsville, Texas. Both of her parents restrained by their jobs in the Medical profession whilst also going to college at the same time, they rarely ever had time for Blaze. She grew up alongside her older sister, Miranda, who taught her most of the things she knows about people. The two were very close despite a 6 year age gap between the two, which made it difficult for them to see eye to eye at times. While Blaze was playing with dolls, Miranda was sneaking out the window at night to go hang out with her friends. Once Blaze reached her teenage years, Miranda moved out to begin a life of her own, leaving Blaze to be the only child. She was quite lonely for a while, and sought out any kind of friend group she could come by.

Eventually, Blaze began a journey of discovery for herself. She began trying all types of things, and partying for the hours her parents were away to make up for lost time. By the time she graduated, she was a heavy drug user. After attending a peace protest with a few of her friends after a late night of barhopping, she became obsessed with the idea of creating peace for herself. Anytime any kind of protest came long, she had to be there whether it pertained to her or not. Much to her parents joy and displeasure, she had found a new addiction.

Chemo grew up in a rather cold household. Her parents were strict about expectations but were never there to do much. Her mother tried at times but her father generally stayed away. Leaving Chemo with a lot of time on her hands. As an only child with distant parents she sought companionship at an early age but was rather picky. She hated brats, even though she was one at the time, and some couldn't stand her. So she ended up with a ragtag group of misfits, ones of all social classes. Though they seemed to fit. They all loved to play pranks and cause general trouble but grew rather good at staying under the radar. As Chemo grew up she began reflecting her troublesome personality in appearance even as she calmed some. However, she could still pull off the innocent act rather well.

The group generally gathered at Rosalie's house, a member of the group. Her mother was dead and her father and older siblings liked to street race. Chemo loved being there and was basically part of the family. Only becoming even more official when she was disowned by her parents at 18. Shortly after the group decided to begin street racing and Chemo was one of the best racers in the groups. However, a surprise raid occurred shortly after she turned 19. Rosalie's father died running from the police when he lost control of his car and ran into a telephone pole. Chemo was in the car with him and survived but was arrested. She resisted distracting the police and allowing a distraught Rosalie to climb from the back seat and get away, unseen. Afterwords stolen merchandise was found in the back of the car and she was counted as an accomplice even though she didn't know about it. She was locked up and has been ever since.

She reported what she saw to her mother but her mother ignored the fact, Maria was clueless why. When she was old enough she moved to new York to become a photographer. Getting pretty far as to take pictures for popular magazines. And that's where she met Alvin. She loved Alvin Lipschitz more than she can possibly say.He was a real artistic guy, a photographer just like her in fact...

sensitive... a painter. But He was always trying to find himself.He'd go out every night looking for himself and on the way he found Ruth,Gladys,Rosemary and Irving. She tried to be a good fiancée even considering being like her mother until one day. Maria walked into his Condo to surprise him only to find him Fucking another Bitch. She kicked the woman out and told Alvin that the girl would be the last mistress he ever have. Alvin yelled and asked her what she was going to do if he had another. So she took the pistol from the drawer

Julio's family considered him to be much too soft for the world when he was a child. As back then, he found happy in the saddest moments and was rarely ever seen with a frown on his face. He could turn anyone's day around. However, as he got older and began to see sight of what the real world held, he changed his ways. He hardened his exterior and made himself out to be someone who should be feared or someone that you should keep your distance from. He tends to keep quiet unless spoken to, but in reality loves conversing with the inmates or fellow correctional officers.

Though he seems a bit intimidating at first glance, all the inmates know him as one that lets anything pass as long as it doesn't affect anyone else in the prison's well being. He tries to fit in with the other workers, but has a hard time with it considering how passive he is towards the ladies in the prison. He is a people pleaser under all definitions, even if he does seem scary from a distance.

Julio grew up in a tiny house with 4 other siblings and no father for the most part of his life, as he had disappeared when Julio was only seven years old. His mother struggled to raise him and his siblings all on her own, and had multiple jobs to pay the bills. Julio was forced into working at a large supermarket stocking shelves at a young age to help play his part in supporting the family, often stuffing his backpack with food items when no one was watching. His mother, though she was a respectful woman, never questioned where the extra food was coming from. Julio was thankful, as he was quiet ashamed of his stealing.

Soon, Hulio was able to get a better job as a cook and left his past in the past, later finding out that his boss at the time new about his stealing, but paid for it all rather than reporting it to the officials. As he graduated high school he realized he had a debt to be paid and went into law enforcement training which led him to Lichfield, where he has been working since then.

Growing up in a modern family, Alanis pretty much had a normal life with her mother, father and older brother. The husband and wife couple weren't exactly happy for several reasons: Financially, emotional, intimacy-- Just a whole bunch of things. Eventually, Alanis' mother had divorced her father, upon which her mother then married another man and had another child with. This particular man actually was in cahoots with the Italian mafia-- which Alanis was completely oblivious to. The only other person that had known about her step-father's "business" was her own mother. And quite frankly, Alanis' mother didn't mind, just as long as she was getting some of the money.

Throughout most of her childhood, Alanis didn't particularly receive any attention from her mother. She wanted her mother to notice her drawings, and her science projects, and how she really wanted to take ballerina classes-- and most of all, Alanis just wanted her mother to notice her. But, her mother just brushed her off in nonchalant manners, figuring that Alanis would find something to entertain herself with. And of course, she starved for attention-- and sometimes she got it from her dad when the two of them could visit together. But, those visits weren't very often at all-- unfortunately.

She did start to get some kind of unwanted attention, though. From her step-father, and not in a good way. When Alanis was in her later teens, her step-father started being very predatory towards her-- in trying to make inappropriate sexual advances towards her. They weren't anything that she thought was too serious, so she thought it was best to just try to ignore it. And it worked.. For a little while, that is.

To cut the story short, her step-father actually did... take advantage of Alanis one day. She was disgusted, afraid of what could have happen and what might happen, and devastated. She didn't think to tell her mother; Her mother would just shrug her off, right? And when she was left there, in that house alone by herself, she just got filled with rage and self-hate. She felt dirty and unclean and she just couldn't escape herself. She took multiple showers, but soap and water just didn't seem to work. She needed to escape herself and all she could smell was him. And without rationally thinking, Alanis decided to try to burn the clothes she was wearing, the perfume she was wearing, anything that reminded her of what that man did to her inside of the bathroom tub while she was home by herself. The house would smell a bit like smoke afterwards, but who cares? She didn't. She just needed to rid herself of those things.

But unfortunately, the fire wasn't very well contained at all-- which resulted into over half of the house going up into flames. Alanis' step-father pressed charges against her for destroying his home. And he had some pretty decent lawyers and Alanis had nothing. She tried to tell her public defender that her step-father did what he did to her, but the evidence did burn inside of the house. And who was going to listen to her? A black female who was behind the cause of a house fire. They'd think she would say anything, and of course her step-father would deny it and her own mother wouldn't entertain the thought. So, Alanis got sentenced to prison for arson.

Biography


Hasumi's life was never exactly easy or even normal. She never knew who her parents were and why they abandoned her on the streets,although she assumed that they were simply some junkies. She was constantly starving through her younger years,and survived mostly on stolen food.


Everything changed when she met Carcos. He was funny,charming. Hasumi couldn't help but fall in love with him,but the man's interest on her was another. He wanted to introduce Hasumi to the world of prostitution,knowing that a pretty girl like her would make a lot of success. Hasumi didn't see any other path for her life,so she accepted. Besides sleeping with clients,she also managed the finances of their "business".


Carlos often drank and became violent on the job,hitting Hasumi and leaving marks through her entire body. The girl could stand it,but she had a simple demand: he couldn't place a finger on the other girls.


One day,Carlos found out that one of the prostitutes was stealing money from him. He tried to kill her,but Hasumi stepped forward with a gun. She reminded him of her demand,but Carlos didn't listen. So Hasumi shot him in the stomach,leaving him to bleed on the floor.


When the police arrived,they ignored any claims of self-defense and arrested Hasumi.
