In Umbra's little realm she felt the crystal activate in the other world. She had spoken with sombra about these rebels and just how much traitors could be trusted, it was a mutual agreement they could at least in terms of freeing their people. This did open the option of a more nonviolent release of the Umbrum as right now the only option Umbra had was to destroy the crystal empire hardly a way to prove they didn't need to be sealed. She opened a portal to the crystals location and when she appeared for a split second there was the image of another behind her, but that faded and could have been an illusion.


" If you were just going to call us so soon you should not have bothered to bring up the topic of lodgings " She said

Fang gave a small shrug, "I can't say I expected him to want to meet so soon either." It wasn't like Spyro to want to meet with someone so quickly. She found it odd.


Spyro shook his head, laying the crystal down. "You must be Queen Umbra," he said stepping around his desk. "I am Spyro Soul, commander of the Order."


As Spyro began introductions, Fang silently moved to the back of the room. Diplomacy wasn't her specialty, she had no reason to be involved in the discussion.

" We are pleased to meet you commander soul' Umbra said bowing her head slightly she might be a queen but at some level she did have to show respect for others " We have been informed that your order seeks to bring order to this world and that you maybe willing to free our people should this aid your cause" She said skipping most posturing and flowery language that would normally be part of such a meeting.

Spyro nodded. His light blue fur stood out against the dark scales around his eyes and on his chest. "We would very much like to see your kind returned to this world."


Fang always suspected that Spyro being the last of his race played into his willingness to help them.

" Then that goal is aligned however the only method we could device includes the destruction of the crystal kingdom we do not want that to happen " She said having to explain things in more details as she was talking to the leader and she might find these people would not work out how she hopped. " We must also say that if you seek to destroy the current rulers we do not seek that we do seek order and while we have had debates on a method to do that we have reached no solid ideas but their deaths we believe will solve nothing "

The commander nodded in understanding. "No, the death of the Alicorns would only make restoring harmony impossible." He turned his head as a light blue glow enveloped his horn. A large, ancient tome was pulled from its place on the shelf. "While the destruction of the Crystal Empire would indeed break the bonds on your people, it would paint you as enemies. Your kind would be hunted to extinction instead of merely sealed away."


He sighed as he laid the tome on his desk, opening it. "We've been looking into the issue, agents studying the seal deep beneath the frozen land. There may yet be a peaceful resolution." The Draconicorn motioned for Umbra to take a look at the tome. "Have you ever heard of the Elements of Harmony?"

 

[Karcen]

" We know of them and we know we are descended from one such element though which one it is we can not say, though we do know it is not the element of magic" umbra said she had in truth thought abotu the elements though the storied were muddied after time and if they were artifacts or mares she did not know. " If you can enlighten us more as to how they may help we are willing to listen"

Pandora growled, planning to take the dark spell book back for herself later. For now, she had to sleep. And so, she sat in a dark corner of the cave and shut her eyes.

Fang's ears perked up at the mention of the Elements. While she vaguely knew about them, it all seemed like a fairy tale. Something a mother would tell young fillies before sending them to bed. But for Umbra to be claiming to be descended from them . . .


Spyro blinked. While he had expected her to at least have heard the stories, for her to actually be a descendant was a surprise. "We Draconicorn's are known for our long lives," He began. "That said, I was still born after the original bearers had passed on." He flipped through pages in the tome until he came upon an illustration of what were once the Elements. "But at least I have what should be a far more factual story on them . . . " Six items were on the page: a crown surrounded by five jeweled necklaces. "From what I've been able to find, they took on more than one form over the lifetime of the Bearers. Originally they were artifacts like the ones on the page. It seems a dire situation forced the Bearers to give these artifacts up. However, they remained linked to their Elements."


He turned towards Umbra once again. "It's clear the Elements tap into a far more powerful form of magic than even the two sisters are capable of harnessing. They would be more than capable of breaking the seal." His cyan eyes looked into Umbra's. Something about her soul seemed . . . off, it had been bothering him since she first entered. Finally he saw it, a second soul linked to hers. You're just full of surprises.


He glanced back at the tome. "This is the best source on the Elements that could be found. Penned by the Element of Magic herself." He sighed, "Unfortunately her grief from losing the others resulted in some pages missing. Why those pages in particular were taken is beyond anyone knowing at this point."

 

[Karcen]

" You need not worry about validating our claim as to our connection tot he elements we know a very good source that bore witness to the bears first hand ' umbra said knowing they had at least one element on their side the problem would be finding others " But at least the first step is clear we must find the other elements and bring forth what they should bear" She said easier said than done but it was a direction at least as for how the elements worked or how to use their power that could be figure out along the way.

 

[KageYuuki]

Spyro nodded, "That would be a place to start." He closed the tome, "legend holds that fate will bring the Bearers together. Though why there haven't been any in generations is unknown." He glanced over at her. "Perhaps that source of yours will make identifying their descendants easier." He picked the book up and returned it to the shelf. "What are your thoughts on the matter?"

 

[Flame Demon]

Scarlet sighs, knowing Pandora wants the book, but she wasn't willing to give it away, she gets a plan and copies the book perfectly using her magic before putting the fake near the unicorn. She looks around and puts some things on other places, she needed more space in her cave. "That should do" she mumbles and lays on her makeshift bed, putting the real book somewhere only she can find it.

" I have my doubts as to his effectiveness he still holds a grudge against them " She said not using the royal we because it was just her speaking " but we believe that the elements can be used to free our people without having to destroy our former home or breaking the crystal heart' She said having no real opinion on things like fate or destiny as that to her opened a can of worms she didn't want to go into, so to her it was best to think that every pony chose their fate rather than it being picked for them. " We will however say we don't trust in fate we trust in action we should try to find family trees to find out who is a decedent from the elements" She said taking in her mind that was a more practical view of how to go forward.

 

[KageYuuki]

Spyro nodded, "fair enough. You have our assistance in the matter. Having the Elements restored will certainly help in bringing balance back to the world." He gestured for Fang to come closer. "Shadow Fang will show you to our library if you wish."

 

[Karcen]

" i will see if my source will speak on the descendants but his range is rather limited" Umbra said it was true she would try to get Sombra to help her in this task even if he did blame the elements for his defeat " But we would like to see your library it may hold knowledge we may be able to put to use"

 

[KageYuuki]

Fang nodded, motioning towards the door. "It's a few floors down but it won't take long to get there." While it was tempting to just open a portal and save the time, she knew being careless with them would quickly drain her. "We do have a look of books, grimoires, and tomes you can't really find anywhere. You'll likely find some things of interest even outside of information on the Elements." She often wondered what kind of knowledge the former Element of Magic kept hidden within her domain. Chance are no one would find out though.


The bat pony nodded to her commander before stepping out of the room. Thankfully the stairs to the library were close by, it wouldn't be too long of a trip. Maybe I'll ditch this cloak when I get there too.

 

[Orihara]

Suddenly, Equestria girl Sassythroat appeared from a dimensional rift and started waving a 10mm in the air. "Alright motherfuckers! If anypony wants to see the light of day again you'll give me EXACTLY one thousand butterscotch candies, no less! (more is acceptable)"

Since the unicorn had suddenly disappeared, Sassy shrugged. "I guess she had other places to be." It was too boring in the shop to do anything now, with the schemed slumber party in ruins. She decided to go out. She flew up above ponyville, looking around to see if any fun was to be had, when she saw Feather Note laying on the ground. She seemed to be just waking up, but why would a Pegasus be sleeping on the ground? She flew down to greet her. "Yo Feather Note what's a pegasister doin takin a nap on the ground? What'chu up to crazy? Haha if you wanted to sleep you coulda gone to Dank Shop, we was about to have one ballin sick ass slumber party but your buddy took off."

Feather Note looked over to Sassy, giving a very tired smile. "It's nothin big, I just blacked out. The typical." She didn't ind the idea of having a slumber party over at the "DANK SHOP"; then there was mention that Pandora was missing. Her torn ear flicked and her voice was filled with nervousness and concern, "D'ya have any idea where she coulda gone?" She moved around. "I hope she's okay. What about the others from before, are that at "DANK SHOP" as well?"

Sassy tried to pat her nervous friend on the back to calm her down. "I don't actually know where she went, just fuckin teleported I guess. I had the room set up and everything! And, the others, nah. I think they had their own shady agenda or something." She looked around a little. "Sooo, how'd your delivery go? Did someone ambush you and knock you out, or are blackouts just a medical condition, like clockwork?" She was concerned either way.

Sassy tried to pat her nervous friend on the back to calm her down. "I don't actually know where she went, just fuckin teleported I guess. I had the room set up and everything! And, the others, nah. I think they had their own shady agenda or something." She looked around a little. "Sooo, how'd your delivery go? Did someone ambush you and knock you out, or are blackouts just a medical condition, like clockwork?" She was concerned either way.

Feather Note looked even more worried. "Th-the delivery went-t fi-fine. Blackouts are just something that happens on oc-c-casion. It runs i-in the family. Well, sort of. My sist-ter and I both have it. It's-it's weird..."

 

[Orihara]

"Chill dude, deep breaths. Hee hoo, hee hoo, like that, nice and slow." She didn't actually say Hee hoo, just demonstrated breathing deeply. "You wanna come hang for a bit at my shop? Have a comfy bean bag and some snacks?"

Feather Note slowly nodded. "Th-that would be nice.."

"Cool! Follow me bud." Sassy flew up, making sure feather was behind her, and started towards the shop. She could see her EG self going nuts and gave her a shades flash of approval and got a shades flash in return.

Feather Note flies up a bit shakily. She checks to make sure all of her bags are latched, and then follows. With the mention of her sister, she realized that she hadn't been around as much upon recent. She should really get into contact with her soon, see how she's been and what not.

A little later they arrived at Dank Shop, and Sassy called to Widget. "Yo Widget! Get some snacks out here!" The squirrel came out with some snacks and tossed them at Sassy's face. "Haha! Bullseye!" He teased and stuck his tongue out. "Watch it bro, or I'll be cooking squirrel steak for dinner!" The squirrel scoffed at her. "At least it's better than pony chops!" She gasped. "No way, squirrel smells like shit and sulphur."
