To ease your concern, let me explain how I'm dealing with them and why I have them.
What class B was in the canon story, the canon characters will be in this story. They're in the background existing and every once and while they might do something cool, but they're nowhere near the main focus.
I'm including them for a sense of familiarity, to keep the story kind of grounded in what people already know and because they serve as NPCs that people can interact with, without having to do a bunch of reading on their personality in a RP tab.

The gates were just opened after teams were revealed. So you'd be moving out with whatever teammates you have.
I'm gonna give permission to everyone to do mild God modding, as in you can say "Me and Jet are running through the gate" even if I haven't posted it yet, mainly because the group of examinees should all be running full tilt right about now desperate to find one of the enemies.
Anyone who posts after that can finesse it and post what happens before gate opening and then feed into the other person's post. It's a little hectic but it's doable with a little elbow grease.

Ah I see. Well I'd start off with a post detailing the introduction, your experience in the written exam, and then you gathering with your squad, and running into the gate. Then wait on him, not much else you can do if he can't post
If the delay becomes extreme preventing certain people from posting I'll control the character like an evil mastermind and make them do a bunch of very benign things that won't contribute to character development. I will handle with care though and absolutely anything I do wrong can be retconned, but for the sake of keeping everyone engaged I have to be an evil GM from time to time.

Hahaha no worries, I tend to forget about timezones all the time. I'm from the CET timezone but I tend to be up late (as you can see) so posting will hopefully not be an issue!

I don't think it will be. I'm in CST, so there is quite a bit of a jump, but I think the three of us (as well as other posters) will be able to collaborate enough to get things to work!
