I did it. Here is the map.

It is the counties. I just used it as a baseline for where everyone is.

It's not really meant to be a perfect representation of everyone's' exact borders, it's meant to be a general idea of where everyone is.

You know what? Gimme Lincoln County, Nevada, and Mohave County, Arizona. It's been nine years since Fallout New Vegas and a little expanding would've been done.

Ok, I just gave you Clark county because you didn't say you had expanded.

I know, I just have known people to make claims like that not edit their history, like I have no issue with you having it I just want to read how, mainly because I enjoy it

So making a more free form map, heavily based off of MrThe's one, until I get a better idea of what peoples borders are. Its effectively just a bit more natural looking, considering old state boundaries are unlikely to carry over to a post apocalyptic world, with borders being shaped almost entirely as they were in europe rather then as they are often in america in straight lines. No I feel we need to look for natural boundaries (where they exist) and try to use them

My map so far.png

Only territory I am currently unhappy with is the Texans because you can easily see the shape of north Texas in their borders atm

I didn't like that shape for Texas either, it doesn't look right. But I think that this map shows too much of Canada. I can edit the borders a bit to make it look a bit more natural if you want though. I had always planned on doing that except i figured we'd do that later. I'll do some editing and then come right back.

What the fuck is going on with Alaska?

I had planned to leave it wide until we know where everyone claims and then cut it down to a reasonable size, especially considering the importance of Alaska

And looking at it from a globe, thats pretty close for the actual size and shape of alaska, a little N-S streching but not as much as it looks like based on the fact its normally severly squashed

*(Moreso shape then size actually, since most map projections make the north huge, this one is no difference, Alaska is about as big as as Bolivia apparently)*

There is no way Alaska is that big compared to Texas.

Yes it is. People really don't get how massive Alaska really is.
