I figured @Nuitari put us into a good position to run into Frost and Guy.

Yeah i figured that conversation needed to be interrupted. And they are the perfect example. Do you want a stand off or a peaceful conversation?

Should I replace our communications officer with an npc for now then? 


Also! I forgot to mention that @Florin Avramescu made a cool graphic that shows the layout of the bridge and everyones positions. I'm posting it on the characters forum, however it might have to be edited depending on how many people actually continue with this rp.

That might be a good decision, or we can god-mod that position until either the original returns or until they are replaced. Marks is also a trained comms officer, we could role-play something that would move him into that position until he can be replaced. Maybe NPC the comms officer and make them responsible for the outbreak.

Well, I just began watching the original Star Trek series, and something I noticed is that the Enterprise's bridge staff is constantly cycling between the main cast ( Sulu, Scotty, etc.) and some less known dudes. So I'm led to assume that there are replacement crewmembers for the many positions of the bridge.


So we could just put some unremarkable redshirt on the comms station and assume Saul was having shuteye, right?

@Mr.Sandstorm Exactly! Our characters are all a part of the alpha shift bridge crew, normally they would all be on duty at the same time. During alerts/major events generally, the senior crew is called down whether they are on shift or not, with the exception of the CMO and the Cheif Engineer, they go to either the bridge or their departments depending on where they are needed more. But yes, my afternoon classes are canceled today so I'll have a reply up in a few minutes. Anyone who hasn't responded to this topic yet is just going to be npc for now and are free game.

One small detail I have to bring up from our character sheets. Rainzen, you're mistaking Vas' station with Deja's. She's the pilot, and I'm the navigator.

I'm pretty sure Rainzen didnt update that "available roles" list in a while, so the Chief Security position is filled.


But I kind of liked your character, so I say we just assume this ship has two heads-of-security....

heck yeah, I'm just glad most of us are still on board! My last quarter was hard but my class load is easier so I should be move active

Everybody double check on the character page that you aren't still listed as inactive, characters in red are officially listed as having their positions up for grabs so if I missed somebodys check in it would be best to notify me so I can fix it ASAP. Also @Florin Avramescu made a cool graphic showing a layout for the bridge. I am seriously jealous of their photoshop skills, its a nice visual and is also posted on the characters page. 


Additionally (Sorry guys apparently I have a lot to say tonight) I just got my post count high enough and will likely be moving this to a hosted project soon, which will be nice yeah? 


As for me, I'm going to bed and I'm moving tomorrow so I'll get a post up as soon as I can.

Thus the mission continues. It is fantastic to see this RP taking off again.
