I took a semester of German my first semester in college lol, so I know a little bit.

I took 5 years of Spanish in high school, I remember NONE of it lol! NADA!

Driving a tractor like a true mid-west American. I'm an East Coast American, we don't do much of that here.

Thats okay im not very good at writing in spanish anyways. My mom was from Mexico and we alway spoke Spanish so i can speak it very well but i never really learned how to read or write so im not so good at that

I was kinda nervous the one i was driving today is like triple the size you the old tractor that I already knew how to drive and the bid one also has so many more buttons and levers and screens but i guess that mostly cause its a lot newer and its one of the ones they actually use for the fields. With all the tools and stuff.

But yeah it was so much fun to learn. Well i had pops my dad that you guys dont know he was next to me teaching me and making sure I didn’t break anything.
My Papa (my grandpa or the dad of pops) hurt his back a little bit ago and can’t really climb into the tractors very well and cant sit in them for long because of his back so pops was teaching me. And he said i might need to help out this year thats why he wanted to start teaching me!

My pops and uncles help papa out a lot but pops said with papa pretty much out of commission most of the time they are probably gonna need an extra driver and THATS MEE!!!

Yeah most people don’t believe me when i tell them cause I don’t look like at all Mexican but yeah. My mom wasnt a very good mom but the best thing she did for me was teach me spanish so at least she did something for me in my life I guess

Well that's good that at least she taught you Spanish. You know, when you are looking for a job in the way future, speaking two languages can be a very beneficial skills companies might want to hire you because of.

Wow it's really cool that you want to help out your family with driving the tractors.
Just make sure you don't push yourself if your not feeling well or you ask for help.

Yeah pops said that as long as im feeling okay i can help but he said he would keep a close eye on me and if i start to not feel good i need to tell him. He told me that my health is more important and if im not up to it they will make do cause he doesn’t want me to over do it.

Well last year when my cancer was gone papa taught me how to drive a really old tractor he still has but they dont really use it for much except pulling a trailer sometimes and i srove that one a bunch

But the big newer tractors they use for the fields are soooo much different and a lot more complicated i hadnt driven one of those till today. But the scariest thing about driving them is just knowing that they cost like half a million dollars or more

Thats why they made sure i was really good and safe driving the old one first they said

I just wish this stupid cancer would go away so I didn’t have to worry about it and could help more. I really like doing stuff at the farm.
