Yeah Asher just trying to divert attention from him and make her made at someone else meanwhile Mrs. Richardson is just like well this wouldn’t have happened if you didn’t come in here and instigate it.

There is a reason why she didn’t really scold Felix much and made sure to ask if he was okay. She knew where this whole things started.

That was amazing. I'm totally loving the roller coaster of emotions and the drama going on between the two boys there. It was all really written well.

Looking forward to the next few strings of posts.

For now, no rush, but I've got not much to do. Just waiting on Nathaniel and Evelyn's interaction to wrap up and for Evelyn to eventually come seek Jack who is hiding away in his room, having not eaten yet opting to skip out on breakfast lol.

Felix also will totally own up to punching first. Kid's honest. But he'll also be making his side of this clear - that Asher came inamd threatened him.

I kinda love Asher's suprise. Like Felix did intentionally feint to crit that opening gutpunch, winding Asher. But the fact Asher never expected Felix to and has never had anyone to fight back says a lot. Never facing this kind of consequence beforr.

Yeah with Asher its kinda like the classic destructive behavior that when left unchecked for so long just gets worse and worse becoming more unhealthy as time goes until suddenly the safe world you thought you made for yourself all comes crashing down at once and you start to see that what you have been doing is actually hurting more than it’s helping. It started yesterday with Jack and now it’s continued with Felix honestly this fight was probably very important to Ashers development as a person and his ability to grow without it some of that destructive behavior likely would have continued unchecked but this is all the start of a big wake up call for him.

Yeah Felix is a good kid. Kind, Loyal, and with a short temper and mean left hook. Along with some serious emotional trauma making him as much in tears as he is in blind anger.

As Kai wrote, Felix would have quickly started blocking after Asher started punching. But trying to decide if that initial punch to his face is gonna leave a black eye or not. I think it might.

Ooooh in regards with Asher thats really cool. Kinda what I thought but still cool. I kinda thought getting such a strong push or punch resistance might help give him a wake up call.
You will get in shit for thst kind of behavior.

It was surprising to see him snap back like that and throw the first punch. Just a whole intense and interesting interaction between the two during that little fight/scrap. Love it.

Felix cannot stand bulliying. Ontop of that Asher 's words ended up sounding like his verbaly and emotionally abusive mothers. Plus he was in an vulnreable state from his nightmare. It was natural he'd lash out.

It was a very intense exchange.

Okay good to know. Felix certainly is not going to say a word to him or try and stop him from leaving. Especially not after some of the things Asher said to Felix!

-And to be honest Felix is going to need a moment after this.. As I imagine Asher will too.

Oh yeah for sure. But again it'll be a few posts unfortunately, since Evelyn' wouldn't immediately go looking for Jack not till it was obvious he wasn't coming downstairs.

No no don't worry. I totally understand it's gonna be a few posts since Evelyn is interacting with Nathan rn, and she won't notice Jack hasn't come down for breakfast until after then.

Let's let if flow naturally, like always no rush, I was just saying, I don't expect to have a reason to post anytime soon until then. It is entertaining though to see all the Asher/Felix drama going on though haha.

Felix is definitely going to need this hour before his new chores to try and.. Just emotionally reboot.
He's a mess right now. Kid just needs to cry it out a bit and sort himself out.

It's ok I understand. Sometimes I make my posts in a weird state and I'm like "I hope that post was ok," lol. Don't worry it looked fine.

And yea, looks like Felix understandably is gonna need some time to relax and recuperate after all of this. I can see why he's already fed up with this home in this moment.

He'll push through this. If nothing else because of defiance and spite. Not letting Asher think he's won.

Felix wont let himself give up. He'll force himself to keep going. Not that spiteful stubbornness and tenacity is a healthy mindset.

I can tell that both Asher and Felix will not like each other and hold feelings of ill-will towards each other after this whole debacle. Neither character seems like he would be willing to let something like this go so easily.

Also something that works out kinda well I think narratively. Felix and Asher will be going to do their joint chores togeather in an hour per Mrs Richardson's order, and the double-episode of cartoons Nathan might choose to join Evelyn' watching is also an hour. Basically making it a clean scene change.

Ev' likely then going to find Jack.
