Also Liam says hello oh and he is curious where in the uk you live though I already told him thats kinda private info so if you don’t want to answer dont feel obligated.
Hi Liam, hope your doing good little dude. I live in the southernish side of England like half an hour out from from London.

And since you asked me a question, my turn for a question: What's your favorite subject in school?

I really like math but they have me doing like really advanced stuff cause fourth grade stuff was really boring sometimes i need help with the new stuff though good thing pops is pretty good at math.

Alrighty just got my post up, I think I might be heading off for the night. I will try to respond tomorrow but if I don't, I will definitely respond on Thursday. I will try to respond though on Wednesday, it will just be really late at the night or really early in the morning, depending on how you look at it.

Aww that's really cool your doing the super advance stuff Liam. Its fun to get challenged like that. :)

Yeah I guess its fun sometimes but sometimes i i wish I could just do the easy stuff that all my friends are doing cause this stuff just takes so long sometimes.
But pops says its time for me to shower and get ready for bed so have a good night!

Ok y'all I just got my post up. That's probably gonna be my only post for today (although I might be posting just really late at night/early in the morning today/tomorrow, depending on how tonight goes) so I figured I'd make it a big one. Apologies if I went a little overboard but I decided to let loose and write a bit more about Jack's history and back story. Since I had an hour or two before I gotta go, I decided it couldn't hurt to make a bigger post. Apologies if it's a pain to read and a long read as it is mostly just fluff with like 2% of those paragraphs being actual dialogue lol. I just find that I enjoy writing characters, so I'm sure you guys can understand that and sympathize with that haha. So yea, again, sorry for such a long post, but I do think it does Jack some justice and gives you a bit more on him. I also think it's a good post for today since I'm not gonna be as active lol. Hopefully you guys liked it though, and seriously let me know and be honest if you're not a fan of these longer more "fluffier" posts if you will.

Edric some of our posts are entirely fluff from time to time. No worries.
Obviously every post just being exposition would get boring, but sometimes its important and very fun for exploring your character. As long as it gives us something to react to it's all good :)

Haha thanks so much Bright. I'm just more worried for Kai on this one since currently it's a Jack and Asher exchange right now and he's the guy whose gotta respond to it, but I think I gave him something to react to with another post lol. But I do appreciate your words here. I felt like this little (or should I say big) exposition post here was appropriate especially given that I haven't developed Jack TOO much up to this point, so I thought giving a little bit more of a history of what he was like in his life before the home would be some juicy character development and details for Jack. While it was mostly internal thoughts going on in Jack's head, I feel it gives Kai and honestly all of you a good idea of Jack's humble and quiet/reserved personality and what he was like in school before being sent to the home. But don't worry, this will certainly not be an everyday or a frequent thing because A, I just don't have the time and often the creative brain to write all that much and B, it would be painful for you guys to have to read a whole novel each time I post. I don't wanna be that guy, although I sometimes honestly don't even mind it. While I'm a fan of big posts at times when necessary, I know others aren't so I just wanted to make sure that I wasn't making anyone feel annoyed here lol, but honestly you guys are a great and supportive group so I'm not too nervous. I'm just new to the whole group RP scene so I was just checking in. Now I'm gonna stop before THIS post gets too long lmao.

Interesting seeing time move along. So the hockey game is about 2/3rds through now?

Yea time is moving along a bit. Hopefully I didn't do anything to crazy for y'all, but I just thought it made sense that a bit of time (20-30 minutes to be exact) passed by while Asher drifted asleep.

And yes, that would be correct, since there are 3 periods in the hockey game, it is now 2/3rds done. After the 15-20 minute intermission, there's 20 minutes to go in the third and final period.

On no this is honestly perfect! If we assume this is two hour game because I was kinda thinking outside tracking Felix and Nathan's lesson so far and I think it roughly goes-
The first half of it all probably was like 45 minutes total (5 minute to get Nate geared up and ready, 15 minutes of bailing practice, 25 minutes of trying to teach Nathan to balance and just pushing him around)
Then a 15-20 minute break.
Then just now another 15 minutes just now of Nathan shuffling along and falling over. Trying to learn to you know, move by himself.

So like in total maybe 1 hour 20minutes total the pair have been out there was my guess?

Which to be honest, if we assume the hockey game is 2 hours and we are 2/3rds through lines up kinda perfectly!

Honestly looking at this, yea this seems about right. Literally so perfect how the time lines up. Both of these interactions between the two different pairs of boys are going on at the same exact time. Good thing this all works out! :)

And yea that sounds about right. A hockey game is around 2 hours with games, intermissions, and commercials. Sometimes a bit longer due to overtime or just lots of whistle blowing during the play in regulation time.

Yeah I was taking the 2 hours game time based on what you told me before when I asked. :)

But yeah its really cool that both scenes even though they are soo different have managed to kinda keep timing with eachother by accident. And it'll make it a lot easier once both pairs are done with their current activities. No idea if we'll just timeskip to morning afterwards having the kids go to bed instantly, or we'll play out any other scenes first but - tbh doesn't really matter either way it's pretty easy to do since time has behaved. :P

Perfect. :D

Also yea I love it, it flows and works out so naturally. It's great! And yea, once Felix and Nathan are done with their activities and Asher and Jack are done watching the hockey game, I'm assuming we can do a little scene of all the kids hurrying off to their rooms to go to bed, and then a time skip to morning and breakfast. But you do bring up a good point, hey maybe one of the kids acts up and is not in their room during bed time. :O Maybe we do have a scene after the kids all go to bed and before we time skip to morning and breakfast. Who knows what could happen with this cast of characters tbh lmao. Maybe Asher can't sleep because he's too busy thinking about all of his emotions from today on top of crushing on Jack.

Dinner was at like 6PM, probably took a good 30-45 minutes. If we say the hockey and skating started at like 7PM.
After 2 hours its like 9:00PM - the summer sun now fully set.

Given everyone woke up pretty early this morning though at like 6-7AM, Felix even earlier for travel + Dr's appointment. It's not unreasonable for the kids to start settling down and head to their rooms.

I imagine Nathan is going to sleep like a rock after having done all that exercise he's not used to.
Felix is gonna have a rough night. First night at his new long-term place, and finally being left with just his head and no distractions since getting here...
Asher as you said, likely thinking about both Jordan and Jack. His emotions...

Sounds about right. Love the accurate time keeping here lol.

And yea, maybe Jack and Asher head to bed at around 9:30 or 10:00 pm, unless we wanna have a set curfew time when all the ids are expected to be in their own rooms and beds.

Also aww, poor little Felix, but it makes sense as to why he would have trouble sleeping tonight. I'm sure Jack had an awful time trying to fall asleep his first day lol.

And yea, Asher has a lot to think about, things that would keep one up at night. As for Jack, I'm sure he won't dwell too much on it, and will eventually fall asleep at a reasonable time.

I love keeping a timeline, what can I say :P
According to google, sunset in summer for LA should be around 8PM - so right around now in-character. Which is perfect lining up with what me and Kai wrote for the two outside, them seeing the lights on the skates wheels and the glow-in-the-dark stickers, laces and decals from Felix's gear coming to life. The sunset lighting, ect. They'll still have time before it gets properly dark though, so all good to keep going.

I personally imagine there is probably a written-curfew, maybe like at 10PM everyone is expected to be in their rooms, noise down to a minimum and are suppose to atleast start thinking about sleeping. Obviously bunch of preteens and teens, some will stay up later either cramming last minute homework, playing games, on their phones, watching youtube, ect. But noise to be kept down since they should be in bed.

But yeah in Felix's case, he's going to not have a great nights rest - and probably not be in the best mood when he first wakes up tomorrow. Not like Asher-level bad moods, just down in the dumps for a while - at least untill he remembers he's going to the beach that afternoon. Then he'll probably cheer up a bit.

Yea that all makes sense.

Yea makes sense since it's his first day away from home and first full night sleeping at the home.
