I reckon what we need is maybe a briefing for all the characters interested in each job (or, just the spirate job if we'll tackle them one-by-one) and we can maybe make a plan. In previous RPs with a much smaller group, I've done scenes like that as collaborations, so that characters can converse easier, rather than just having an entire post for one line of dialogue, for example. I'm not sure that's possible here though due to the numbers, so I'm not sure how a briefing would realistically go. RandomBlobMan RandomBlobMan might have some methods though, since I believe they have done RPs with bigger numbers before (based on what I read in the interest check).

Wonder if we'll get any extreme situations where the pilot has to go and help... 👀 Otherwise, hopefully we can make sure there are things for ship-based crew to do during a mission. Scanning, beaming, getting locks on certain locations, sending and receiving information, stuff like that?
As of now, it seems pretty much that you guys would prefer to do collab posts here and there, but not every time.
As I stated in the interest check,
-Combat will not use a specific dice system, but rather a semi turn based order where the players state their actions and I post out the results.
is how combat will mostly work. Which is why I would prefer to keep the missions small in number unless the whole ship is moving.
By beaming, do you mean weaponized beams or the teleportation beams? As far as teleportation goes you'd need a set up device on point A and B for accurate long ranged teleportation (short range, as in within 5 meters, is possible with enough device to fit in a humanoid robot, though it'd require a lot of power and the decrease in size may increase the possible chance of mishap)

How big is the cruiser compared to our corvette? And do we get extra for bringing the outlaws back alive?
The pirate crew is wanted dead or alive. Bringing them back alive isn't a necessity, so there is no official bonus stack of cash. But the marshal may give you a bonus within his jurisdiction.
The Essex, a retired military corvette, has its own small space that can store around 1~2 personal vessels depending on their size. The pirates' cruiser, which can store five people no problem, is the size of a personal vehicle. It is very small compared to Essex, as it has less consideration for living space of the crew.

Boss, could we in theory fit the cruiser in our hanger?

According to USS Missouri in the movie those 16 inch are pretty good in of itself

(Maybe we can convert those 406mm into MAC)
