Hey guys I just posted the beginning of Part One here
Let me know if anyone has questions regarding their first in character post. I can't wait to see what you all come up with.
If there's any confusion regarding those not within the four current scenes I posted- Celebs who aren't referenced at any current locations can just make a post with their character in a place of their own. We basically are just doing a sort of intro to let people know who you are and how you're prepping for the International Hall of Culture and Arts Jubilee Ball/Awards Ceremony. Whether that's by taking a relaxing bath at home, throwing back shots at a bar, or even spiraling because they're nervous about the upcoming event.
Currently, the Arouet Chasseur Agency and LNCPD are the scenes with the most plot involvement. So, if anyone involved has questions regarding those scene let me know
Lucida Cross' Chapel also has the potential to be involved in the coming plot as well, but honestly I am cool with Cadmus just chilling too if that's the direction we want to go. Depends on what choices are made and etc. See your posts in the IC soon, thanks for being so patient with me. You guys are awesome

Sounds good! Eddie's likely asked your girl to do his nails for the event, yes? I imagine something a bit more fancy than usual to fit the ball's theme. I can totally see Lillian talking him into something not-so-traditional.Pumpum I dig it! I think she definitely could've done his nails a few times, so she might be his go-to for the task on a semi-regular basis, since she would be the chill, respectful type- not likely to do something gauche like ask to see his face without the mask or the like ^^
I'm gonna send my starter as soon as I can! I already got some of it written yesterday, but I've got to finish some work stuff first.

I think she was booked by Lucky Sun for the day, but maybe she gets an hour off while they rehearse or something to go do Edward's nails? I like the idea of her talking him into something unique for the occasion~

We can just make it so that she did them a day earlier or something, because Ed's probably gonna spend the next day psyching himself up to actually go to the ball. I'll make sure she'll get a really bad photo of him in the full outfit though lol

Yeah, I figured I’d give everyone the week to come up with their first posts. I know some of us are doing school full time and working full time as well, so there’s no need to feel rushed. Hopefully, we can maintain the RP with at least 1-2 responses a week. If anyone has questions or concerns let me know how I can help! I hope everybody’s week has gone well, looking forward to reading your responses

I wrote three different scenes, could not fit Talia in without making the post unacceptably long, and struggled with the formatting because my posts don't usually include pictures. Look at the boyos though in their casual clothes, very cozy! I should draw them in all sorts of clothes really, just for fun. I hope the post is satisfactory after such a long wait.

Just read the first IC post and I thought it was perfection. We get a good look into who is Gerard and Edward are to each other. Enjoyed the references to their past with the Great Hunger and sires etc. Your drawings as usual were awesome, thanks for sharing them with us.

Hope everyone had a good weekend mine was decent I’m loving all the creativity and personality you all give to your characters POVs. Can’t be happier with who has ended up joining this RP! It’s so awesome to see you all work off a half-assed idea I had and turn it into something wonderful.
So far we’ve got posts from all characters except for Jessica Tidal and Rashani which is intentional on my part. Some of you are coming up with other charas to add, and I am totally for it- just let me know if you’re interested in doing so beforehand so we can discuss options
Mae’s first post is up, Andrei’s second post is also, we’ll get posts from each of the detectives in response (a little bit of casual/professional bonding) as they walk to the Lucky Sun Ent. building downtown. Once there they’ll have a few options to get into the building.
Also- Rashani’s first post while at the Cross Chapel will be posted this week as well. If necessary Cadmus can respond depending on what

I’ll post Jethro’s response for the Arouet Chasseur Agency scene next. Responses/following posts for other celeb scenes are optional unless you wanna go the extra mile and have the time. My plan is for Part 1 to end with Jessica’s POV and we move on to Part 2.

Loved the posts- gonna try to get at least one reply up 'soon as I can; bear with me xD So the detectives are currently walking from their downtown precinct to the downtown main office for Lucky Sun, correct? And it's in the same direction as the IHCA building? Just wanted to make sure.
Also since Rashani, Salem, Willow, Xander, Montana, and the Tidals are all elsewhere, what do they find when they arrive? Just a secretary telling them everyone is busy getting ready for the ball? ;P

No problem, take all the time you need! Life gets super hectic around the holidays and such too, so I get it.
IHCA is nearby yes, and when they approach I was thinking a secretary would be there and probably guide you to speak with security. Some of the detectives sneak in and snoop around the building while the other (optional to who wants to do what) distract.
From there we can to have them go back to the department and review a case file Andrei’s wrote. Then get prepped for the IHCA Jubilee Ball.

Hi everybody, hope you’re doing alright. I haven’t been active in here lately, so I just wanted to make an RP related update. While touching base with all of you over a few things:
We’re waiting on Jethro’s response and then the doctor/Akari’s decisions. Then we’ll have wrapped up the scene at the Arouet Chasseur Agency.
The detectives next posts will be on the way to Lucky Sun Ent. From there they will find a way in the building, get what they can find, and leave. I’m hoping to wrap it up with a case file written by Andrei on what they found.
The Lucida Cross Chapel scene has been wrapped up.
As for Rashani’s and Jessica’s posts- I’ve decided to end Part 1 with them. With their POVs’ taking place just before the awards ceremony, it will set the stage for things to come in Part 2.
Just for Fun
I also wanted to pose some random questions for anyone who wants to discuss character related things OOC. Feel free to answer one or all of these, if you have the time and are interested:
1. What stereotypical role would your character play in a high school AU/if they attended a normal high school? (Nerd, jock, bully, goth, etc.)
2. What would be your character’s theme song/favorite band/favorite genre of music?
3. When they were a child, what did your character want to be, or think they were going to be, when they grew up?
4. What is your character’s guiltiest pleasure?
5. What animal best represents your character?
That’s all for now, don’t feel obligated to answer any if not up to the task. Also, don’t feel like you can’t answer if you’re supposed to be responding to the IC chat. Sometimes it helps to have a zero stakes convo over characters when stuck in a writing rut. Have a good day/night wherever you are and stay safe

Thanks for the update! The insane part of my semester (and subsequent collapse into a formless puddle) has now ended, so I hope to have at least one of my posts up by tomorrow!
