Seeing the whole time scenario, I can easily kick forward Shorn's situation a fair bit, time wise. After all, it wasn't a post directly interacting with anyone, so it's very easy to adjust.

As long as no one already started to write to interact with it that is. Otherwise, I can change it up to around say... 4:20pm, or any other time there after and open the situation to allow more possible interactions.

She has mostly bummed around she changed her deal to make it more fair but has stuck to her gig. Mostly as she doesn't fully beilive things can change kuro has started to she her they can.

Inari is the patron of foxes, rice, business, merchants, prosperity, etc because she's done a lot of things in her long life. She'll also slap any god who tells her she was just born to her status because she started out as a minor fox deity that planted rice Gained her popularity through effort~

Azani's got plenty of time on her hand to learn new tricks--watch humans, talk to other gods, etc--but doing something which she isn't naturally talented in is much harder and probably won't yield better results. Yato is best at killing. He can do other things, but he wouldn't necessarily be a 'god' of it. As MrThe pointed out, he'd probably be more well known by now if he stuck to it and consistently 'culled' at requests. I'd go about it gradually. Learn from the 'good gods', grab a good regalia, help SSA, etc - her ability to open paths to yomi can certainly be used for good as well (see Kofuku). Alternatively, she can always go the 'Princess of Yomi' route^^ Befriend phantoms. Protect her crazy/phantom worshippers while she expands her dark kingdom in Yomi~ Can't do it on earth (Heavens won't allow it), but Yomi has lots of free lands.

Her legend is something designed by humans, so it's not that easy to manipulate since past actions don't change, and humans believe what they want to believe. Easiest would be to go to her fanatical worshipers/priests. They're the ones in charge of spreading her divine words, after all Though she may lose any revenge-driven followers she does have if her change becomes too dramatic. Reputation is easy to build, but once that has been established, it's that much harder to escape from lol. She hit the nail on the head with the broken trust part. Being born in Yomi is a stigma she'll carry all her life (amongst the more closed-minded gods that is). That said, her reputation is something she can totally design by her actions if she so desires. A true legend is created by what she does (and shifts as people begin exaggerating and generations pass)^^

She doesn't have to change to get a shrine. Shrines for evil gods do exist Just place for creepy cult folks to pray and get their revenge. Phantoms, like the 'devil', can be deified as well. Just be liked by a human enough and they'll build her one. She's also been making deals for worship, so making deals for a shrine isn't that hard. Then she just needs to advertise. Despite what Kami_X said, I think an occult club of edgy teenagers is vastly amusing.

yeah that's more a mindset issue with her and some insecurities of if she tries to give up her role would another come up to be the new god of vengence. It is something of a fear not that she will fade, but that another will be forced into her role and that they would be like her old self.

That's actually how she would do it find someone with charisma make a deal with them to start spreading a slight addition to her legend and have it spread till it is accepted. She has just now has never really thought about changing as her existence time till now has been decent and it's not like she desires to visit heaven.

That would be a part of the slightly altering her image, as right now everyone going there would be suspicion given what her legend says she does, but if she gets a priest with charisma that can convince people she has a third new more positive aspect of redemption added then well less looking over people.

Yeah but he hasn't been active and I tend to think their vengeance is different he seems more the uncontrolled mad kind of vengeance where Azani is much colder a direct and quick vengeance where you don't get off free.

I guess you could go including her role of settling grudges as more of a thing than vengeance point is one would tear you apart the other sends you to hell.

Izanami making a new one might be another fear that her mother her only family could replace her.

Also given she dosent keep regalia around she might be in something of an echo chamber or feedback loop while alone leading her to not want to change during those times.

But she can still save the soul of the human Inemaru kills and give it a better afterlife. She can't do that with the ones Azani kills They get forced into Yomi where they are (most likely) eaten by phantoms (because Yomi is chalk full of them).

She is a business woman though, and has more experience than Kami_X, and is colder. Kami_X is very human-like because of the people he's grown up around. He cares deeply for the ones close to him (despite his attitude). He is also prone to grudges should he find the ones he cares about hurt.

Haha, I see. I do imagine that eternal suffering would cause them to turn into phantoms though...

Or is it preventing them from turning into phantoms? Flames of punishment/purification like an ablution, in which case she'd be a good god

I didn't really think that much on them going phantom but you could say the magic of the place and cultural idea of hell being a place of human souls suffering as humans keeps them human.

If she can manage to get the idea to ad in redemption then followers prayers could go to getting those souls out of the fires.

Gotta explain that to Kami_X though, since he just knows Yomi as a land of phantoms (more so than earth). When you drop them there, you're basically condemning them to be eaten unless you safeguard them.

Someone needs to explain that to her lol she still sees it as well i send you to a place to be tortured forever. That is the end of it for now so pick your posion there suffer fully aware fir thousands of years or turn phantom hard to pick which is worse.

If she picks up the redemption thing (she needs a little push for that) then they can start being saved. While new ones are added assuming the redemption idea dosent outgrow the other two.
