The legend of how he climbed Inari's mountain pretty much consolidates Jin's character and it also opens a lot of windows for interaction with many other gods.

Besides, if he hadn't been recognized as 'The Destroyer' then Humans wouldn't have made a shrine for him. And the fact that he has a shrine means he can make fun of Azani for not having a proper shrine. It's perfect

she has generally never wanted one, actually till now having one was harmful to her

why dose him being the destroyer mean he would get a shrine v I can help you with potions and making gold

you may just want to change him fully to alchemy over creation and destruction as at least then you can have a constant and could have an actual wish that gave him life over a super vague statement

Lol, a god of alchemy could also be worshipped by chemists that wish alchemy were real. "Alchemy" basically evolved into chemistry anyway.

yeah that alone would bea god of creation and destruction and chemistry is super destructive and super creative and with the mystical alchemy he gets the making life and transmutation powers.

Calamity isn't stable, but it can be worshipped. Rabo had a shrine after all~

Jin was praised for being the 'destroyer of the mountain' and awe might make people worship him. Inari worshippers might even make a shrine asking 'forgiveness' (if they believed Inari killed him) or desire for him to 'not destroy the mountain'. Fear also works as a motivator for shrines (which is the route Azani is kinda going~)

was more saying his shrien seems only to worship the creator aspects with its yearly tear down and rebuild, just thinking if he was creator type already he likely could get a shrine for the positive aspects given if he has ever died he would take on the dark destroyer type stuff

Also, the power in my house went out and I've been reading through a bunch of Alchemy/Alchemy related sites like a madman (Yes, the amount of wrinkles in my brain have triplicated.) for the past hour or so, but if you're an expert in the matter then go ahead and correct me if my Alchemy facts are wrong. I've no idea if you meant you'd help me ic or actually enlighten me w alchemy facts, but uhh....

Honestly, I might just leave it at Purification and Transmutation since the creation of Panacea/Medicinal stuff falls into the category of creating a potion of immortality or anything similar.

Perfectly fine with it^^ (but size limit would keep him from 'making' a tank, at least until he amasses regalia/worshippers)

yeah she still does that but now people wouldn't beilive it so much and would rather the redemption aspect though plenty are trying to save themselves

In one version of Kaguya-hime's legend it's stated she gave an elixir of immortality to the Emperor of the time her legend takes place while saying goodbye to him and her adoptive parents (the bamboo cutter and his wife). He didn't take it tho, since he loved her despite being friendzoned. So he ordered it to be burned with her letter at mount Fuji.

As far as I can tell, it's not clearly stated (at least on the wiki I looked at) if she made it or not, but I've assumed that she took it from Heaven's vault and had a regalia of hers give it and the letter to one of the Emperor's men to deliver to him and was punished for it to make it fit Noragami lore and give her an extra bit of connection to the moon. Either way, I assumed some other god (probably of some category of creation) had to have made it for one reason or another before it was sealed away by the Heavens.

Now if there's other mentions of an elixir of immortality used in other myths then idk about them lol. Also if he was a god of alchemy there could also be a few nerds praying to him (I think someone mentioned FMA/FMAB fans, which is what I mean lol).
