For me it's actually that I've been letting this fall by the wayside as I work on other projects. Sorry to let you down but I think I might drop this RP. At least for now.

For some reason, I tend to make my girls more hot-heads and my guys more calm/analytical, but I've been trying to switch that up more often.

I think given the time span between the two actions, they probably would have returned to the office. Unless somehow they got caught up in something that delayed them. Otherwise, it was Shorn being dragged around, and he didn't have much else planned.

A lot of the time, I tend to build characters based off a single concept. Then I twist, rotate, and work them depending. Like Shorn is an example, and it's not noticeable enough to place. However, he was loosely based off a personality of a character from a book series I was reading. (Mainly taking their smartass quips, and perhaps sarcasm. But then extending out into his own ground. )

Or I even work them around a backstory, and go backwards with their development. Like if it was a rough time, they aren't going to be a super cheerful person... Maybe they'd be a bit cynical. I go through stuff like that.

when i make a chracter, theres usually a lot of steps lol
theres 1) base personality 2) first design 3) base name 4) edit personality and name 5) change design 6) sometimes this keeps going as a torturous cycle lol, either that or i just throw down stuff and leave it

It's a trend I've noticed in the many rps I've joined. But I do work to diversify, especially in rps where I make lots of characters

Ryuujin's pretty hot-headed after all and Nana is as calm as can be.

This is true, but if there's any Gods/Goddesses Shorn should be concerned about with an Execution Order atop his head, even if delayed, it would be the ones in Heaven.

Just throw enough distractions around and maybe they'll forget about it. Evolved phantom here, missing gods there, AFAH supporters spreading their anti-god ideals everywhere... Who has time for Shorn?

As far as posting you can take your time. This is supposed to be fun and the last thing you need is to feel obligated to post. I can always find ways to kill time while I wait
