One piece: The new era [Inactive]

"Yeah, it'll get us there faster." Valir said, thinking for a moment. "Can your hawk hold both of us?"


In the kitchen, the boy ate slowly, tears streaming down his face. I'm so sorry Valir, Luka. Please understand. I need Kain to come home. His thoughts were spinning in his mind as the two exited the kitchen.


(I'm out for the night, you can fly us there if you want though.)
 
" first of all he is a falcon second all yes when I make him big enough" she created Al and made him big enough for 2 people to ride on. She got on and took of with valir sitting behind luka. After about an hour or so of flying the two landed in Erumalu. They got off and Al disappeared.

After reaching the store Iggy found Valir nor Luka "Well I should head back then" he begins to walk back to the ship nothing interesting happened on the way which sucked he finally reached the ship and goes to the kitchen to find Luka but to his surprise a child occupied the room "Uh...you my new crew man?" the kid looked nervous "Relax you a friend of Luka's I'm her captain" the boy replied "Yeah and Valir they left to go to Erumala" Iggy frowns "Dang it are they searching for those bounty hunters?" the boy eye's widened "No I forgot to tell them that" Iggy smiles "Relax could you tell me were the base" the kids takes a deep breath "No sure but people say rainbase was Crocidiles hang out that biulding was rebuilt after Crocodiles defeat" Iggy begins to leave "thanks kid" he leaps off the ship and ask's for Rainbase directions and was quickly pointed towards it. Iggy was now making his way to Rainbase jumping on roof tops then into the desert.

Valir looked around at the city, if it could still be called that. All the buildings were swamped with sand, some with only the roof sticking out of the dunes. Some buildings were completely buried. "Well this makes things more difficult. How do we find the kidnappers in this mess?" He thought aloud.
 
Luka looked around "hmm....this is gonna be tricky....what are we looking for? A base, a group of people , a move vehicle...what?" Luka asked.

Back at the ship, Gene finished his stew. He looked around, but saw no one in the room. He pulled a baby den den mushi out of his pocket. "They're on the way." He said into the transponder snail. "There are two of them, a guy and a girl. The girl has devil fruit powers. I don't know if the guy does."


"Good work. We're making... arrangements for them." A voice answered, it's rough sound grating to Gene. He felt tears flowing slowly down his face again. "Now please, give Kain back. You promised." The voice laughed in response. "A promise? You really are a gullible child. We're coming for you next Gene." The voice stopped and the baby den den mushi went to sleep. "What?" Gene exclaimed at the snail. "No! You... You-" he stopped, knowing it was useless. The snail fell to the table and Gene put his face into his hands, sobbing. 
"I don't know." Valir admitted. An exposed spire caught his eye across town. "Maybe we should start over there." He said, walking across the sand. He got to the tower, looking at it closely. There wasn't much exposed, but the stone was carved in intricate patterns. It seemed out of place among the other buildings. He sighed, looking around again. "I don't know, I'm not sure-" He stopped, noticing a small scrap of cloth at the top. "Hey, do you see that?" He asked Luka, pointing.
 
Luka looked at the stone with the patterns on it. 'Huh...interesting...' she then looked at cloth that was hanging from the top of the tower. " yeah..." she sent Al her falcon to go and get the cloth.

The cloth looked to be torn from a larger piece. "What do you think? I've seen this color recently." Valir said, his brow furrowed. He snapped his fingers and looked up at the top of the tower. "I definitely saw it in the clothing shop. So someone was up there and got careless." He started to climb, his curiosity piqued.


(Sorry if my writing isn't great tonight, I'm exhausted haha)
 
"Wait! I already sent Al to get the cloth!" She said stopping valir from climbing. A few seconds later Al came down woth the cloth and gave it to valir.

"Thanks." Valir said to Al, taking the cloth. "You didn't happen to see a hole or anything unusual up there, did you?" He asked the falcon, then turned towards Luka. "It doesn't seem like there's much reason for a single strip of cloth up there. Unless it came off of someone's robe." He looked up again, trying to find anything else out of place.
 
Al shook his head when valir asked about a whole in the tower. " ok...if there was no hole....then how did it get up there?".

Valir took a step back. "That's what I'm going to find out!" He yelled, running towards the tower and jumping. He caught the an edge about halfway up the exposed area, then fell back as it gave way, landing on his back. "Ow..." He mumbled as the stone siding landed next to him. "So much for that." His face lit up a bit as he looked up. "Or not. Check that out." He said, pointing to the now gaping hole in the tower. "It's hollow. And I bet that's supposed to move. It gave pretty easily." He grinned as he stood up and brushed the sand off of his shirt. "Want to do some exploring?" He asked Luka.
 
Luka laughed a little when valir fell down after trying to climb the tower. "Ya know... I could have flown us around the tower..." she then looked at the hole thag he created 'or we can just go through there...' she laughed some more and nodded when valir asked her about exploring the tower.

"Yeah, but I can't let you have all the fun, right?" Valir said, then laughed. "Let's go then!" He ran and made the jump once more, catching on where the stone was only a minute before. He could feel a slight breeze from the tower, like it was breathing. "There's a wind in here. It must be massive. And I guess most of the sand has been cleared out." He said, standing up on the lip of the opening. Definitely deserves a look he thought. "It's pretty dark though."
 
Luka created some shadow stairs and got to the gap that valir created. She grinned " I can't wait to explore this!" She said excitedly.

Valir laughed. "Well if it's their hideout, we should try to be quiet." He said, looking down the tower once more. He couldn't see the bottom. "Want to lower us down? Your shadow vines would probably do the trick, as long as you don't squeeze me too hard." He said, adding in a joke to keep his head level. He felt a little uneasy, but dismissed it as a fear of the unknown.
 
Inatead of using vines luka created shadow stairs that began to stick out of the side of the tower. " I think stairs are better...dont you?" She said wirh a smile and began to walk down the tower.

Valir shrugged. "That works for me." He said, following her down into the shadows. The light from the hole soon disappeared above them as they continued, winding down the tower. "I wonder when we'll get to the bottom." He thought aloud. He had already bumped the wall twice and was getting tired of this darkness. As he said it, his foot touched solid rock. "There we go."


A light flashed on, blinding Valir as he heard someone say "Now!" A heavy net fell on the two of them, pinning them to the ground. "What the-" Valir began, but received a kick to the head in response. "Shut up." The voice said. It belonged to a tall man with a leopard print coat and dark glasses. His vision was swimming from the strike. "And don't try struggling." A woman's voice said. "Your friend's devil fruit powers will be useless." A silhouette gestured to two trapped in the net. "It's made of sea-prism stone. And if you thrash about we'll be forced to make a mess."
 
Luka sighed in relied when her feet touched the ground. When she was about to look around a light flashed on and blinded her " what the.." then a heavy net was thrown on her, which pinned her to the ground anddrained her strength "sea stone..." she muttered. She couldnt move at all. She looked at valir " leave him alone!"

"Gene did well, warning us of her weakness." The woman said, stepping into the light. "I hope he'll work hard in excavating too when we catch him. You two certainly will." She smiled wickedly. "Take them to the cell. Remove their weapons. They can begin working as soon as we have some handcuffs on them. And make sure the girl has sea-prism stone ones. We don't need any escapes today." They were lifted, net and all, and taken to a small room by a large man in a tattered cowboy hat. "I hope you like digging." The man said, smiling. He was missing a few teeth. "You'll help us clear the sand so that we can go further in the temple. We'll find the room soon enough." He took Valir's sword and put handcuffs on him. He did the same to Luka, then left them alone in the darkness.


Valir's thoughts were everywhere. Gene told them we were coming? Why? For Kain? He thought. His head was hung low, a look of defeat and regret on his face. "I'm sorry for bringing you along Luka. Looks like we've gotten into some trouble." He said, his voice low.
 
' this is just great...I am going to kill them when I get out of these...' she then looked at valir " dont worry about it...I can lock pick this and get us out here..." she whispered so they wouldn't here "....I've been in a similar situation before...."

(When under contact with sea stone your meant to feel completely drained, not just anabke to use your power)
 
Iggy smiles as the sand particles hits him in the face "You may have to join my crew your the fastest camel alive" Iggy said jokingly with excitement the camel makes an awkward sound but it sounded like an agreement "Look were already here" Iggy points towards the town as he stops the camel "Hey Jet I'll carry you the rest of the way" his tone was kind and gentle. The camel looked surprised as it was being raised up then carried through the sand at amazing speed Jet roared with excitement they reach the town moments later and walk around until Jet sees a building it was more fancy and shinny. Then the rest of everything in the town "That's the building?" Jet nods "Alright you stay here" Jet nods with worry "I'll be back" Iggy walks in "a casino? weird hangout" he approaches a man who looks important and rich "Hey is this the hangout for some pirate hunters?" the man stands up from his seat "Yes it is want to meet the boss- doesn't matter you not leaving anyway" Iggy smirks "I like you shall we uh didn't get your name" Iggy's tone was joyful. The man smirks "call me Jack" he starts to walk they go through some guarded doors then up some stairs to some more guarded doors Jack walks through the doors "We have a guess he's a pirate" a older man sits in a room with observance TV's behind him his voice was raspy when he spoke. "He came willingly I see you think you are a match for me and my hunters kid?" Iggy expression showed anger and seriousness "I know I will leave this place and when I return I will leave with your head but first before I go why have you been robbing these civilians" The man stands "I like you so I will tell. I like money and I like to kill and we protect them so they should be paying us even the world government don't mind" Iggy was calm but like back in Whiskey Peak his fist had a mind of it's own at a blink of an eye Iggy was swinging his fist at the man fast then making contact smashing his fist into his mouth. The man grabs his fist "Boy you should be careful were you put things" He puts his hand just at Iggy's waist as they become talons ripping into his skin Iggy resist temptation to show pain "So your a tough guy huh" suddenly a snake appears behind his back and it strikes at his shoulder. Iggy speaks in a weak and pained tone "Tengoku no yari" slicing the head off of the snake causing the man to let go Iggy now had a choice fight 6 guards or a wall he went for the wall smashing through and falling to the ground lifelessly. "I..I..uh can't..mo-" Iggy blacks out and finds his self being dragged in the desert as his vision slowly returns he catches a glimpse of Jet. "Jet you look funny" he says weakly Jet stops then falls to the ground "JET!!!" Iggy stands up "What? NO No?" he was angered but sad as he looked at the 3 legged well 2 considering the other one wasn't even usable and his body covered in cuts and bruises that ranged from red to blue to purple. Jet roars his last roar and Iggy roars as well hugging him softly "You haven't died in vain" Iggy spoke with sadness with revenge leaking from every word. Iggy pulls a large loose camels tooth from the lifeless Camel "Your always with me Jet" he heads back the way he came he wasn't sure if the venom wore off or it was still inside his body killing him.
 
(Borrowing the boss, sorry) " that man will not leave the island alive, SEND THEM." He screeched at one of the guard. "But sir if you call then then-" the gained stammered "-I don't give a crap, get me my transponder snail!"

"Giraffe here. Oh? Vacation over? Okay guys, we have to smash a few heads"

Valir heard heavy footsteps approaching, muffled by the thick door. "No time, I think that guy's back." He said, standing up. The heavy door grated on the stone as it swung outward, revealing the large man in the cowboy hat. "Time to work kiddies." He growled, cackling as he grabbed both of them, Luka by her wrists and Valir by his arm. He pulled them through the chamber that they were captured in, walking towards a flight of steps. "Miss All Souls Day would like to see you about your new... line of work."
