Arcus just smiled and kissed Raiven one last time. "Okay lets go see our friends my queen." Arcus stopped the flow of power, but felt like a part of him was missing. He separated from Raiven only to hold her hand and open the door. "Well lets go see our friends. I bet they missed you and me." Arcus said as he smiled, and intertwined his fingers with Raivens.

Raivensmiled and lead the way back to the communal area, locking the door behind her. Clair was still stood there with a stunned expression and hair that Einstein wold be jealous of. Spotting Reno she waved "Hey hey Reno, how are yooooou " She called out cheerily, the gold in her hair catching in the light. She looked around and noticed that Luka was sat there. She turned and whispered to Arcus "Any idea who that girl is, she's staring at me" She then gestured to Luka with a flick of her wrist.

I have no idea, but she has this jealous look in her eyes." Arcus said sheepishly. "I think I am gonna stay away from her." Arcus whispered to Raiven. He then proceeded to hide behind her like a scare kid. though he smiled as he saw all of his old friends form last year. "Hey guys how was the break form school. Its good to see you guys again since, I haven't seen you in so long

"Arc...I take it you're the one who gave Clair the 'Bride of Frankenstein' look?" he asked.


Knowing that Raiven and Arc both wield lightning, and that Raiven would normally get out of trouble with her puppy eyes. He figured that Arc would be the culprit, despite his shy nature.


"Also, I don't know who this girl is," he continued. "I've only seen her once, but that was it, but something tells me she's a bit attached to her."

Luka rolled her eyes and took out her pad of paper. She wrote down her name and a brief explanation of why she was staring at the Elites. She hated communicating with those who assumed her strange. They were too much of a drain on her mental energy. 


Raiven nodded before touching Luka's nose with a finger, giving the girl enough of a shock to communicate a message to stay away from Arcus. Taking Arcus's hand again she allowed her power to mix with his before resting against him slightly. Meanwhile Luka was spinning on the spot trying to rid herself of the itch in her nose. 


"So Reno, where's Homura? We have all got to catch up soon. I still don't know what you did over the holidays." Raiven's eyes twinkled with excitement at the idea of being with the rest of the Elites again. Together they represented an unstoppable force. Flicking her fringe she giggled "Notice anything new" She asked, trying to draw attention to her hair.

"Aside from your hair and that you're able to control your powers, nothing's changed," he said."Also, I don't think, her name is Luka by the way, that she was interested in Arcus. From what she told me, she was focusing on reading your lips. Have to admit, it's a pretty useful skill to have if you've lost all hearing."


He leans against a wall beside him, waiting for the others to come back.


"She may be deaf, she may be mute, I think, haven't heard her speak much, but even I know not to underestimate a human's intelligence."

Homura looked confused at her comments until he realized what she meant by date and his face went red "No, no, no that's not what I was meaning for but yes I would like to hang out for a little while" he said regaining composure. He did think Kat looked cute but her personality wasn't always he nicest "Well Katalina we should get going then if we don't want to get caught behind this crowd" he said slightly concerned about the explosion but he knew it would be fine if Reno was heading there. As they started walking he noticed Clair with her hair standing straight up, far off in the distance "Wonder what happened to her" he said to himself before looking back to Katalina "Do Kat what should we do until dinner" he was glad to be back with his friends even if they didn't share the sentiment.

Arcus just blushed as Raiven drew attention to her hair. It was a sign that we had clearly combined our powers, and came together as one. Arcus just wrapped his arms around Raiven's waist, and rested his chin on her head. Arcus just smiled and sneakily smelled her hair. He tried to hide his blush by burying his face in her hair. Though it gave the opposite impression of what he wanted.

Raiven giggled cheerfully.  She wondered what the others would say when they found out. She liked the flashes in her hair,  they were special to her.

Arcus just held closer Raiven closer. He was blushing like a mad man. "Raiv please your making me blush." Arcus said as he tilted his head down looking towards the ground as he held Raiven in his arms. Arcus whispered into her ear. "Raiven are you proud of us combining powers??" Arcus asked sheepishly, and was starting to calm down a little.

Kat chuckled at his blush, not meaning to make him do that but it was funny to see him slightly embarrassed. With a shrug she let go of his wrist and looked around. "Well, I wanted to go to my dorm and finish unpacking and change. I heard everyone is supposed to dress up since this is the first official get together." She looked at herself. "And obviously I am not dressed appropriately." Kat chuckled more and looked back at him. "If that's okay with you that is."

Raiven just smiled, giving a slight nod "Of course I am. It felt amazing"  She relaxed into his grip before looking at Reno, ignoring the Bride of Frankenstein. "So Ren, are there any plans for later in the day. I still gotta unpack. I did bring food other than sweets with me" She tilted Arcus's head up to look into her eyes "Arc, you're adorable. DO you know that"


Luka just stood close to Reno, watching the others curiously. People didn't find her attractive. She decided that the female with short hair wasn't nice. She made her nose itch. Luka hadn't meant to upset her.She tucked herself behind Reno just in case the elemental turned on her again.

"I'm going to help Luka get familiar with the school," he said. "Since somehow she's fond of me as well."


Reno faced Luka, who was standing right behind her.


"Anyway, since you can read lips," he said."I guess I should introduce myself."


He cleared his throat before fully introducing himself.


"My name is Reno Artorias, I'm one of the elites of this school. I'm also one of the strongest fighters, and one of the smartest students."


Reno then pointed his finger at both Raiven and Arcus.


"Those two are also elites," he continued. "The girl with short hair is Raiven, while that shy one is Arcus, they have a habit of accidentally shocking things. and I'm sure you've also been acquainted with Student Body President Clair, she was once an elite as well, but left the group for reasons that I find understandable.  Anyway, if you have any issues here in this school, find either me or Clair, and we'll be able to help you out as best as we can...and if someone messes with you, you can count on us to find them, and whip their asses into shape."

Luka nodded taking the information in. She gave a smile at him before briefly signing a thank you. Reaching into her bag she retrieved her notepad to write down a question, she lacked the ability to speak clearly as she couldn't hear.


Her first question was "What should I do about the rest of the students if they speak to me. This is the first time i've been in a school. I don't want them to think me rude" She sighed to herself. She really hated her disability.


She looked at him for the answers.

Reno pondered a bit for an answer.


"Hmm, kind of impossible since both of us are of different races," he answered. "Though I could ask Mr. Graham about getting you some sort of speech machine."

"If they know Sign Language it should be fine. I'd appreciate that" She wrote down, holding the pad up with a flourish for Reno to read. Signing something to herself she frowned before adding it to it "I never even learned the basics of how to speak. My parents signed from the day I was born" Nervously she toyed with her hair, holding the pad in her other hand. 


Most Elementals unnerved her, Especially Raiven but Reno was kind and he'd taken the time to ensure she understood. Which was more than could be said for most humans.

"Not sure if anyone aside from Clair could sign," he replied. "But I'm sure we'll figure some way to let everyone know that you can't speak."


He flashed her a bright smile while having one of his thumbs up, signifying that everyone will be alright.


"Anyway, I'm gonna get ready to head down with Kat for dinner," he continued. "I suggest you do the same, who knows you might find someone else that could act as a translator, since Clair and I will be busy...well mostly Clair, a Student Body President's work is never done, am I right?"

Arcus just rubbed the back of Raiven the whole time. SInce she was starting to spark, Arcus started to let his power seep into her to calm her down. "Hey Raiv listen he doesn't mean to be rude, just calm down. Listen just calm down." Arcus whispered into her ear soothingly, as he rubbed circles into the small of her back. The blue in Arcus' eyes glowed with the sudden contact of Raiven's power.

Raiven took deep breaths, just as they'd been taught when they started at the academy. She whispered curses through her gritted teeth. After a while, she slowly calmed down, her eyes losing their fierce glow that they had whenever she was losing her temper. Leaning against Arc she let his power wash over her like a comforting blanket. She changed position, from standing next to him to almost cradling herself in him, seeking comfort and reassurance from him. "Can we go and unpack, I- I just need to be elsewhere to think straight right now"

Homura nodded to Katalina at her response "Sure that's fine, I think I need to grab some stuff from my room as well and possible meet my room mate" he said as took out his phone and looked at the time. They still had a lot of time between now and dinner so he wasn't sure what else they could do before that "I feel like showing off, how about a power contest see who has shown the most improvement?" He asked Katalina as he walked toward the gym exit with her 'Now to really fly! I've only been able to go at sub speeds since breaking he sound barrier wasn't allowed but her are school we can bend the rules a little right?' He thought to himself as his hair started to glow a bright red flare and his eyes glowed the same colors.

Arcus wrapped his arms tightly around Raiven. "Why don't we go to our special spot from last year??" Arcus asked whispering into Raiven's ear. He continued to let Raiven soak up his power. Arcus didn't wait for the reply he just flashed them to the roof. He held Raiven close, and made a electric barrier around them. He then protectively wrapped his arms around Raiven. "Shhh, its okay. I'm here, I'm here for you. Let it out, I wont judge you." Arcus said as he just held raiven in his arms.

Raiven let out a small sob "I know Reno judges me because I'm not as skilled at controlling my powers as you or the other elites. He even remarked that I finally learned how to control them" Burying her head she cried softly "It's not fair that I didn't have the training the others had. My tutor always focused on my work, until I accidentally fried her and put her in hospital"



Truth be told, the lack of control she had over her powers scared her senseless. It'd taken her the entire break to control the random lightning bolts she'd send off at any chance. Arcus, however, was different, he'd been the one to help her learn to control her discharges and he'd been her first friend and now they were dating. She leant against him, feeling the warmth of his body acting as a security blanket for her. She sniffed, resting her head against him "Thanks Arc, for taking me out of there"

Raiven I would do it again in a heartbeat. Though I am gonna have to teach you haw to store your powers in the necklace I made you. It would help with loosing control. But for now we can just sit here, and be with each other." Arcus said as he lightly picked up her chin, and placed a gentle kiss to her lips. He then just put his hans on her hips, and he let Raiven take control.

Raiven smiled and wiped away the tears before placing her head on his shoulder, slowly giving him some of her power. She trusted him to handle it. Her mind began to drift while he held her back to their first day and when they'd been invited to the Elites for their rare element. She found focusing on the happy memories helped her deal with the times when she got overcharged. 


Now she had the necklace to help her balance it out. Lightning required a fine balance of power to stop the scales tipping. Slowly smiling she took his hands from her hips "Look what I learned to do over the holidays " Digging deeply she called up a little storm in her hands before shaping it into a globe. She raised it to eye level allowing him to observe the coloured lightning dancing inside. "I learned it from a book as a party trick for my daddy's parties. I've since found them both a great light source and a way to calm down"

Ah yes back to school. Adrian Vivien has been waiting for this day for quite some time. Not that he wanted to go back to studying or anything like that but because he got to see familiar faces. Not that he really cared about those faces, just the expressions when they see Mr. Vivien, he loved being adored. "Hurry up with my bags, I'll be late for my plane if you don't." Adrian sighed at his helpers who were both packing and carrying his bags. Once they were done he happily skipped along, exiting his home and into the car and soon off to the airport. Why was his school so far from his home you may ask. Well, because this was just his vacation home silly. His actual home is actually quite close to Sakura Academy. Soon enough he was on the plane where Adrian looked at his phone and saw that he was almost or is late. He groaned as he patiently waited on the plane. 


Once arriving at the school grounds the blue haired boy smiled (which was more like a grin honestly) and carried his bag all by himself. See? This elite can do things without magic or helpers. Speaking of magic, Adrian was fully aware of the acceptance of humans in Sakura Academy and honestly, he didn't like it. Not one bit. He hated the fact that he had to share a school with low lives like them. And the fact that he had to share a dorm with a human this year only made things worse. Adrian adjusted his glasses and shook his head slightly. He shouldn't dwell on this just yet. Adrian was the vice captain of the elites for goodness sake! He shouldn't let powerless monkeys worry him. Anyway, Adrian walked up to the front desk and smoothly slid his ID card on the desk. "Excuse me honey dew I'm here to retrieve my room key. Room one-O-two to be exact." He made silly hand gestures as he said his room number. The receptionist looked up from whatever she was doing on the computer, and got him his keys. Adrian didn't bother thanking her and just took his keys and ID and started walking calmly to his dorm room. He was most definitely late but he was Adrian Vivien, nobody should mind whatsoever. 


Adrian unlocked his dorm (if it was locked that is) and looked around seeing bags already there. Hm. He wasn't the only one who arrived. He just hoped the human didn't get there faster than Adrian. But knowing the status of humans, the powerless freak must be riding a busted up carriage to school. Or maybe even walking. The elite snickers and started to place his bags on an empty bed. After doing so he hopped on his bed and smiled. Comfy. Just the way Adrian liked his beds. The wind elemental grabbed one of his bags and started rummaging through it. "Where is it?" He asks himself until feeling a familiar object. A smirk formed on Adrian's lips. "Bingo." He then took out his trusty game console. There seemed to be nothing better to do at the moment, especially since he just wanted to sit around before re-exploring the school again.
