Raiven smiled, taking her seat. Tucking her hair behind her ear she turned to Arcus "What classes do you think we'll have this year" She hoped she'd have science again. She patted the seat next to her with a happy smile. "So what did you do over the break Arc?"

Homura looked over to Reno "the girls usually don't take so long to answer to I'm not sure what's taking so long" he said as he tried knocking again "Anyway it's a shame the others left so quickly I was about to say hi but the walked off" he wondered why everyone had just walked away but he just thought they have places to be. He looked at his phones clock and noticed the time quickly go from 11:57 to 12:00 "Girls we are seriously going to be late, especially you Clair. I know the student council prez doesn't condone tardiness" he said half mockingly as he put his phone away. "Man I can't believe how many new students there are this year. And some of hem are human to which is fine, my uncle is a human but if they are like him they should be fine" he said to Reno as they waited patiently for the girls to hurry up.

'Sigh, of course someone drops a job onto me,' he thought. 'Still, it would be nice if she would come out already.'


Reno patiently waits by the door for Kat to come out while sucking on his own lollipop. He checks his phone and sees that it's 11:57, meaning he has three more minutes to head down to the auditorium. He knocks on the door, this time loud enough for anyone to hear.


"Come on guys," he shouted. "We don't have a lot of time to screw around."

Reno thought for a second and remembered that Clair can transport people to different areas with her abilities. He also took into account that since we'll be getting new students soon, chances are they might not know where the auditorium is either.


"Well, even if we could be late, odds are some of the new students don't even know where the hell the auditorium is," he commented. "Besides, Clair could transport us to the auditorium with her abilities anyway."

Clair smiled politely before signing back "I learned sign almost three weeks ago now ,it was in anticipation of your arrival. Most signs are easy to learn as most are referenced in the Necronomicon. Anyway , the Auditorium is about a ten minute walk from the dorms. It's a large rectangular building in the far right wing of the main school building itself or directly behind the dorms here. It doubles as the official fighting ring as well ,you should get there quicker if you take the forest path behind the dorms however you may dirty your shoes.


Looking quickly to the ever growing noise at the door , Clair quickly glanced at her watch and let out a soft sigh "It's already that time huh , well I guess I should probably get going around now. Kathleen do me a favour and hold your breath". Asking the same of her deaf friend Clair quickly pulled the two by the hand through the very wall of the dorm room itself.  Once in the hall with the two other students Clair offered a quick introduction "Reno , Homaura , so nice to see your doing well. Now if you wouldn't mind holding your breath..... that was unpredicted , well it seems as though there's no time for that now...... Please do try not to die on me !"


In an instant all five students were enveloped in a dark purple hue and just as quickly all five were transported just outside the auditorium. With that Clair released her grasp on both Luka and Kat , moving her hands to join behind her back Clair moved addressed both Reno and Homaura. "Thank goodness your both ok , for a minute there I thought for sure one of you were going to lose a limb. Next time I will not be transporting you so please ensure you arrive on time. If you have any reason think that any of your internal organs are out of place please seek me out at once."

Hopefully science, and gym again." Arcus said as he leaned over and kiss Raiven's cheek. "Well I made your necklace over the break, and I trained a lot with my powers. I'm trying to pass our old professor Tesla. You know the one where you and me just took naps, and went on dates." Arcus said blushing, and smiling.

Luka stumbled slightly, she wasn't used to being to being pulled through time and space. She wobbled to a seat and sat down with the recorder at the ready. Closing her eyes she waited for her stomach to settle as the other students settled into their chairs. She gave Clair a thankful smile. Without Clair she'd be rather lost by now. She opened her eyes and stared directly ahead. Hopefully, if the recorder failed, she'd be able to lipread from whoever was speaking. She'd taught herself to lip read when she had better hearing in her one 'good' ear. She'd have to ask Clair later if she could get a more permanent seat near the front

Raiven blushed as Arcus kissed her cheek "Yeah, we didn't really need to attend Tesla's class seeing as we understand what electricity is. It wasn't fair for him to fail us though." She rested her head against his shoulder. She looked up when Kathleen, Homura and Reno appeared with Clair. Letting her hand drop she entwined her fingers with his, just enjoying his company "We should pay attention in his class this year, we can have our dates during our free time" Removing the lolly stick from her mouth she smiled, school was a good place.

"Well we wouldn't need you to transport us if you three had just finished in there," said Reno. "Besides, we wanted to make sure that you got here on time as student counsel president."


Reno looks at Kat for a moment and pulls out her ID from his pocket to hand to her.


"Anyway, Kat," he continued. "I found your ID on the floor, try not to lose it again, okay?"

[Catnapper]

Rina skimmed through the latest newspaper while drinking coffee in his little kitchen, as Rody watched whatever was on TV. Daytime telly had been rubbish lately. Glancing at his watch, Ri almost spat out his coffee


"Shit! I'm late for that thing in the auditorium!" he said. He left his coffee to go cold on the table and threw the newspaper onto the sofa as he stormed out of the door and raced to the auditorium. Although he wasn't concentrating too much, he could still hear some light conversations between lingering spirits in the academy.


"Woah, a spiritual! I wonder if he can hear me..."


"The students are back already? Dang, I was *just* about to settle into hibernation"


"Ya know, Carl, I just can't stop asking myself how tall the tallest camel is... ever since I died, I've just needed to find out about that one..."


Cringing a little at the strange little conversations the ghosts were having, he continued. Finally, he reached it; he kind of missed the auditorium. The lectures they had at the start of every year felt so welcoming every time. He glanced at the other students, looking a bit worried like normal


"Hey, uh, am I late, or...?"

Nathaniel went a seated himself in a chair a few rows up rom the entry way of the auditorium. He looked around to see away one else that had arrived yet, and saw people by the entry about to find a seat. He then opened some chewy candy and popped it in his mouth, and thought about what classes he would have, also considering the fact he was not an Elemental, and also thought about what his roommate might be like. Waiting for the orientation to start, he took out a mechanical pencil and started to draw a sketch Raiven and Arcus together in his notebook, humming a tune that was in his head.

"No, you're not, Ri," Reno responded. "Mr. Graham hasn't even arrived yet."


He sits back and waits for Mr. Graham to begin the orientation, though with humans here, it's gonna be interesting to see what he has to say.

As she was finishing up, she felt a tap on the shoulder. One of her roommates had arrived. Slowly, she turned around to be met by a female who Kat didn't know which made her grimace. Not meaning to have a bad impression, but the fact that the female was new made her not want to interact. Before Kat could put a word in, she noticed Clair had walked in and said some things which made her roll her eyes and go back to finish unpacking. Great. Another joyous year.


((Gonna skip through all the other stuff because people keep replying so quickly))


After Kat was grabbed and transported to the auditorium, she glared at Kat. "Don't ever call me Kathleen again." She smacked her hand away. "Be more respectful to others."


With that her attention then turned towards Reno who had her ID. With a smirk, she took it. "Thanks. I had a mini heart attack when I realized I lost it."


Seeing as they were at the auditorium, Kat took a seat in the far corner away from everyone else. So much had happened too recently and she wanted to be herself to think.

Belvedere Graham

Seeing as the students arrived, Belvedere walked out on stage and looked at the new and returning students. Clearing his throat, he spread his arms and began. "Good evening and welcome newcomers to Sakura Academy. My name is Belvedere Graham and I am one of many staff members here at the academy. We are excited for a new year. Please check the app which includes your schedule, map of the school, and grades." His experience quickly allowed him to differentiate the humans with the elementals. "Sorry if this is short. There isn't much to say. If you have any questions don't hesitate to as me or any other teacher in the academy." Before he left, he smiled. "Oh and there's an all you can eat buffet in the cafeteria starting at six and ends at nine. And please don't kill each other. See you in class in a week." His eyes went to the Elites with the 'you better be there' look.


With that he exited the stage and sighed. He didn't want to speak in front of the student body, but who else would? All he wanted was to mingle or shift into an animal so he can be to himself. Having that in mind he began walking down the halls to go outside since classes didn't start for another week.

"Right.. right, okay. Thanks.."


Behind him, Rody rose up from the ground silently and slowly.


"...Boo!" Rody shouted, making Rina jump.


"Rody! Jesus Christ! What did I say about scaring me?!" he hissed, being as quiet as possible so that the Elites wouldn't look over; to anybody that wasn't a spiritual, Ri was just talking to nobody. Clearly, now that they were near other people, Rody was the confident one and Ri had gone shy.


"It was just a joke, Ri! You've gotta stop overreacting. Anyway, I thought I'd come along, check you're not moving ghosts again. Seriously, that was some A+ freak work earlier, Ri."


Ri glared at Rody, a bit annoyed by Rody's remark but also a bit worried. How did he touch a ghost earlier?

'Don't worry Graham, I'm rather interested in meeting some of these humans anyway.'


"Well, that was painfully short," he said. "I was hoping it was going to be a speech about 'elementals and humans can live in perfect harmony.' To be honest I like the idea."

Shortly after her not to pleasing encounter with Kat Clair continued on inside the auditorium and patiently awaited for Belvedere to finish before taking his place upon the stage. Taking quite an elegant position with her hands held neatly behind her back Clair began to speak with a warm and welcoming tone "Students of Sakura Academy , both new and old. My name Is Clair O'Reilly and once again I'll be taking the position of student body president. Now I'm sure most of you are more than well aware of the drastic change that's being introduced to the school this year. Of course I am without a doubt speaking about the addition of human kind being permitted access to the school.


This was no easy decision , both me and the board of management spent a lot of time coming to this outcome and we hope that all student's respect our decision. Human kind may not have the power to command the elements but they posses a different strength , a strength that was born from there disadvantage. The strength I speak of is a combination of wisdom and courage There longing to become stronger on a fundamental level. Truly humans are worthy of our respect and surely humans should be permitted the same rights as us. That is the belief of the Sakura Academy and if anyone has a problem with that , well the principal and I shall deal with you swiftly in combat.... I mean negotiation !


Anyway , as expected the humans will be expected to take part in the duelling system. However they are exempt from duels with those known as the elite. That is all , enjoy your stay."


With that Clair exited the stage.

Raiven stretched "You hungry at all Arc?" She asked, hoping that they could get to the buffet before most of the other students. She smiled at him and pressed a kiss on his cheek, feeling him spark slightly. Her phone buzzed so she pulled it out of her pocket and looked at it. Her schedule had finally shown up. She still had Tesla on her timetable. Replacing her phone she pulled out some Smarties and offered them to Arcus.

Luka stood up, she'd managed to get the information recorded. She decided she'd follow Clair and the others to the Cafeteria. Hopefully she'd be able to pass her classes. As she walked she wasn't looking where she was going and collided with another student, accidentally knocking the pencil out of his hands. Instinctively she signed an apology to them before picking up the pencil and passing it over. Standing up she rubbed her shin where she had bumped it.

Homura still didn't understand Mr. Graham's intent on making sure the Elites made it to all the academies mandatory events "So Reno what are your plans after this? I've got nothing to do since the home economics lad isn't set up yet" he said a little disappointed "Oh and maybe we should invite Katalina along to and show off our improvement" he wanted to show someone his new abilities so he hoped he could find someone to hang out with. Homura listened intently with Claire speech and understood the reasoning behind not letting the humans duel and Elite. He knew it was dangerous but a small part of him was disappointed by that knowledge 'Well it's for their safety' he thought just as the Orientation was ending. He looked around the room for Clair and Katalina and noticed Clair had already gone to be with the other elements on the student council. He saw Katalina standing in the corner on her own "Hey Katalina, Reno and are going to go and hang out after this if you'd like to join" he said after walking through he large crowd of students. He hoped all the Elites could get together but he wasn't entirely sure where they were.

"I'm only going because I'm interested in meeting the humans here," he answered. "Besides, I'm getting kinda hungry myself. Haven't eaten since I flew over here."


Not only that, but that also means he might find a few good humans around befriend.


"Though I don't know why you'd ask Kat to tag along," he continued. "You know how she is with new students."

Arcus just sparked when he felt Raiven's lips on his cheek. "Yeah I'll take some smarties." Arcus said with a blush. "Do you wanna head over to the buffet and say hi to the other elites??" Arcus asked as he blushed, and smiled, as he looked at his schedual and saw he had the same as Raiven.. Arcus decided that this year he would become the strongest elite. He would need to gain complete control over his element. That wouldn't be a problem. He gained so much control over the break that he could almost completely turn himself into lightning, and hold that from, to fight, and power things.

"Sure, I've already seen Reno so far" She stood up, brushing her skirt down before shaking some smarties into Arcus's hands "I wonder what they did over the break?" She let off a little crackle of electricity in excitement at finally getting out of the hall "I got a puppy recently. I should ask father to send it here before it gets upset without me" She showed him a photo of a fluffy black puppy on her mobile "I called it Lexie" She held out her hand shyly for him to take on their way to the buffet.

Arcus gently took hold of Raiven's hand, and sent bursts of power to Raiven. "Yeah you should, I would like to meet her." Arcus said as he intertwined his finger's into Raiven's. "Hey Raiven do you trust me??" Arcus asked as he sparked with power. The electricity was started to spark gold, and neon blue. Arcus was storing power so he could transform into lightning, and flash Raiven, and him to the buffet. Arcus looked at Raiven, and looked into her eyes, to see what she would say.

"Of course I do, what would our friendship be without trust". She smiled "You look even more dashing when you spark like that" She smiled and gave his hand a soft squeeze, communicating her trust in him. Her eyes sparkled slightly as she felt his power in her. Arcus had some pretty cool abilities in her opinion. She hoped to learn from him in the future.

Okay I want you to close your eyes, and let your power flow into me." Arcus said as he smiled, and let the lightning flow around Raiven and him. "Raiven, I am going to turn both you and me into lightning, and flash us next to the buffet room. Are you okay with me doing that??" Arcus asked as he held Raiven close, and pulled her into a hug. He wanted to show that he was here to protect Raiven ,adn make her feel special.

Nathaniel signed thank you back to Luka. His dad taught some sign language that he knew when he returned from the military. He then put the pencil in his pocket and then got up from his seat to head to the bathroom before he went over to the cafeteria. He didn't bother to go and talk with the other students heading over there, he was the type of person that usually would wait for others to introduce themselves to and start a conversation with until he adjusted to the new environment. His stomach growled. "I'm glad they set up an all you can eat buffet for us, I am starving," he said to himself. He took out his phone and opened up the map, and followed the directions to the bathroom.

Raiven nodded, wrapping her arms around him and letting her power join with his "Certainly beats walking there" She offered him one of her cheeky smiles, resting her head on his shoulder. 


She loved the scent of crackling electricity, it reassured that everything would be alright. The smell also reminded her what could go wrong if either of them lost concentration, after all, several billion volts is not to be taken lightly. "Do it" She whispered in his ear as the lightning around them grew brighter.

Luka stood up and followed the map to the buffet room where she took a plate before looking at the foods on offer. Taking some she retreated to a quiet corner of the room where she could eat in peace without falling over someone. She absentmindedly drummed her fingers on the floor as she was eating, her mind far away. Hopefully the Elites wouldn't give her trouble.

Arcus whispered into Raiven's ear, "I love you." Then they turned into lightning with a big flash, and reappeared next to the buffet room. "Well I am glad you know Raiven." Arcus said as he smiled and kissed her cheek. He then wrapped her into a close hug, and told her that he loved her. Arcus then got on one knee, and mad a rose out of blue lightning, and presented it to Raiven with a lopsided grin.

Raiven flushed a dark red as he said those three words and an even darker red when he produced the rose "You never fail to amaze me" She gently took the rose from his hands and leant close to his ear "I was planning on being the first to tell you but you beat me to it. I love you too Arc" She smiled and kissed him quickly "We shouldn't tell the other elites yet" She settled her hand back into his with a relaxed and happy smile on her face.

Arcus just smiled, and kissed her hand. "Yeah I agree we should wait, to tell the others. Oh how I can't wait to see the others when they found out. What do you think the other elites will say??" Arcus asked as he thought about how he was gonna help Raiven with her powers. He was already thinking of showing her how to get closer with the element.
