J'zar would sat down.

"A veeeery short history.... i... woke up in the backyard without any memory of my ''past'' life " He'd say, rubbing his neck again.

"I'm kinda like you. I don't remember anything before my 15th birthday, but I developed skills as a mechanic and as a musician like I knew how to do it for my whole life." Trinity said, signing softly. "I catch glimpses of what I think my parents looked like in the few dreams I have. From what I can tell, my mother and father are both sweet, hardworking people. I wish I could remember who they were... When I woke up on my 15th birthday, I was sitting in a mechanics shop out in New York. I had a splitting and didn't remember anything.

I hope to god I can regain my memory..."

Trinity rested her head ever so softly on J'zar's shoulder.

"Even if I can't regain my memories from the past, I can just make new ones here." She said quietly.

The part she left out but thought about was:

And I can make memories with you, as well.

Trinity looked up at J'zar. Seeing his face red made Trinity blush as well, and she quickly looked down, trying to hide her smile.

Trinity yawned.

"You know, I could fall asleep right here." She said sleepily. "It wouldn't last long, but I feel like I could fall asleep easier.

"Good. Don't do anything, if you're catching my drift." Trinity said sleepily as she curled up next to J'zar.

"If you get uncomfortable here, you can always dump me on the bed. I'm a featherweight." Trinity said as reassurance.

Drake entered the school. He sat in the lobby and waited. Nobody was there. No teachers, students, guards. There had to be somebody. If there was at least one person. . . The memory burned in his eyes. A face, and a name. Jasmine Archer. He lifted his chin to look at the chandelier. "Jasmine!" he shouted, the sound echoed off the walls. The lobby stayed silent, nobody came. Drake brought nothing with him. He had nothing. No clothes except the ones he was wearing, nothing valuable except his memories. . .

Jasmine heard her name whilst entering the school doors. Sitting in the lobby was her boyfriend, whom she knew before she came. Her eyes widened as she ran towards the couch. "Drake!" she yelled. "Is that you?" Flinging her arms around him, Jasmine felt how cold his clothes were. "Where were you?" she asked. "Are you okay?"

"Yep, it's me," said Drake, embracing Jasmine. He held her at an arms distance. "I don't remember anything. . . Except you," he told her. Standing up, he wondered where this place was, and what it was. "What is this place, and where is it? I saw no gates, so it should be easy to leave. . ."

"No," Jasmine said. "There's no escape. The perimeter is bordered with. . . solid shadows. I've seen it." She looked up at Drake's face. His red eyes gleamed, the contour lines from his jacket standing out against his pale skin. "How have you been?" she asked, sitting back down.

"I-I've been good. Other than loosing my memory, I've been fine," he said, looking at Jasmine. Drake sat next to her, holding her hand in his. "What do you mean there's no escape? There's no gates, nor guards as far as I can tell."

"It's a gate? A solid. . . shadow. . . is surrounding the school," Jasmine told Drake. "I've seen it, it's creepy. Now, let's get your schedule and dorm." She stood up, walking towards the front desk. Slipping behind it, she sat on the chair, and opened a drawer. She shuffled through the papers and pulled one out. "Here you go!" she smiled at Drake, thankful that she knew at least one person here.
