Another thing, sneak attacks. Personally, I think sneak attacks should be x2 DMG, and there should have to be two rolls. An agility roll to roll for the success of it being sneaky, and a second accuracy roll. Damage should be a base 10 +10 for every strength point. Also whatever that dmg is x2 for sneak attacks. Sneak attacks cannot be defended, as well.
As far as normal attacks go, the attacker should only be rolling for accuracy. Also, those with an agility stat of 4+ Should be allowed a counter attack roll option when defending, but it'll replace their dodge roll. Should either of those rolls fail, then they roll for defense which (imo) base 8+8 per defense stat. (Unless the defender uses a shield, which should give them extra defensive stats.)
I'm not too sure if the sneak and counter attack mechanic is necessary, seeing as you are Immortals who should be able to sense most incoming attacks, and most combat will take place in a tournament setting where stealth would be difficult. Just a little nervous about making the mechanics too in-depth, cause I'd most likely get them confused at some point and it might scare off some people. But I think the damage system could work though, or maybe you roll die equal to your strength stat?

If @Whale and @Splat end up fighting soon, they could test out the stat system I added in the mechanics tab, not as a fight-to-the-death, but just to make sure it doesn't fail miserably. I'll most likely interrupt the fight before anyone can get killed

Alright, we'll just base it off of what I have in the Mechanics section for now, if @Whale could prepare her stats if you haven't done so already, that'd be good. (:

Hello, I'm interested in joining! But I'm a bit stuck on what power to give my immortal. Is the character page up to date? What are the limits of the powers?

@Noivian Hi there! I've got a list of easily acceptable powers that are available, such as fire, earth, metal, light and others, but you're free to request your own. Concerning your powers, you're able to produce any amount of your chosen energy and manipulate it, until your soul is empty, so for example you use an attack that does 5 damage, your energy level will lower to 95/100.

Ah, okay, that makes sense! Will we be rolling dice for dealing damage, then?

It hasn't been completely decided on, but so far it seems we'll be using your Strength stat as the basis for how much damage you deal (3 Strength = 30 damage), but we will be rolling for successful hits vs evading attacks

well, no one is replying to me in one RP, time to dust off the machinery and get the cogs rolling for this baby.

Okay! As for how the immortal characters are, do they have any powers that all of them can use, like flight? Do they need to sleep or eat? Specifically on flight, may my character use her powers to enable herself to fly if she can't already, and even though she doesn't have air powers?

@Rurnur is there anything weird looking about the post with my character Sheet or is it just me?

also, you should be able to see the picture now

They all have very enhanced strength and speed, they wouldn't technically "fly" but can easily travel planet to planet by jumping, and no they don't need to eat or sleep

@TheGodSnake It looks alright to me, and sweet. Is something wrong with it?

@Noivian Hey sorry, but i'm not sure that shadows will work in this situation, seeing as they don't actually "exist" and you'll be needing something to damage enemy Immortals with, and bullets/blades won't be effective according to the lore, unless they are actually powered by your ability, did you have any other ideas for an ability? I can provide a list of unused ones if you like (:

I was just thinking with light being a viable power... But I suppose that's a plasma, whereas shadows are just an absence of light. I don't want to do something common, like fire or earth. I suppose I could do sound, but how would I weaponize that with my current setup? I was thinking the bullets would be made of my character's energy, as would the blade.

Yeah that's what I was thinking, and you could definitely exaggerate sound into a kindof physical wave that also disrupts your opponent's hearing, it doesn't need to be realistic. The initial blast of the rifle could send out a wave that disrupts enemy movement's and attacks, while your bullet could be concentrated with your energy that implodes into a sound blast upon impact, or something like that

Hm... I suppose I need to rethink a few things about how my character attacks. This'll be interesting.

It should be cool if you imagine it more as "disruption" than just sound, so your waves will hinder enemy attacks and movements by distorting the space around them

I changed her to fire, for lack of more creativity. Is this okay?

@Noivian Yeah that's fine (: Though if you really wanna be creative, your ability could be "explosive" instead of fire, and create bullets out of your explosive powder that you can detonate at will
