"So where did you come from?" Ryu asked. "The mountains? THE MOUNTAINS?!" Hazel interrogated. "Ey! Do not grill her with your questions!" Xander replied looking at his siblings. "Go to dinner. We will follow you there" he added as his brother and sister left his quarters. "Wait here" Xander jumped through the window then moments later returned with an outfit for Jay. "Every little sign counts" the teen handed her the outfit and walked out of his quarters so she could change. He grabbed his own outfit through the window then moved to his brother's room to change into it.

Jay sighs while putting on the clothes she was given, thinking up of lies to tell Xander's siblings. Where she lived, where she'd come from, all that stuff.

After finishing, she walks it the room and knocks on the one next to it. "Xander, you're in there right? I'm done," she announces outside the door.

Xander changed into the outfit and walked out, "Okay let's go". He began to walk to the direction of the hall. "Jay my parents WILL recognize you. I ask that you stay close to me at all times...not too close though" Xander mentioned seeing the hall come into their view.

Jay nods walking right behind Xander as they entered the adjoining room. "And what am I suppose to do when they ask for me?" She questions. Lying would be downright disrespectful to them since they already knew about her.

"Comply" Xander replied bluntly. He pulled out a chair and waited for Jay to sit in it. Moments later Ray and Quinn entered the hall. "Xander nice of you to join us tonight" Ray said eyeing the boy then glancing at his acquaintance. "Jay. What news do you bring from your clan?" Ray and Quinn sat down in their seats as the food arrived.

"U-umm well Kane had given me a mission that needed the help of your son," she says only telling half the truth.

"And what mission is that?" Ray asked raising a brow. Xander looked up from his food, "Find that murderer in the forest". He was about to put another bite into his mouth until Quinn questioned, "Why were you even at their clan area in the first place Xander?" Xander paused before taking in another bite, "I wasn't. I was going through the forest and Kane spotted me. I stayed over at the Eastern temple area last night". "I'm surprised he didn't imprison or murder you" Ryu mumbled. "Stop it Ryu" Quinn scolded.

Jay gave a silent breathe of relief. She'd have to thank Xander for not telling them about the kidnapping.

"S-So is it alright if I take him along?" She asks quietly while shitlfting uneasily in her seat. The perks of being in an enemy clan and talking to the leader.

Quinn looked at Jay, "No-". "Yes" Ray interrupted. Quinn gave a surprised expression at Ray's approval,"Why?" "Being in the forest with an actual mission might teach Xander more than he will ever learn from here. I'm sure he's learned many things just from doing whatever he does in that part of the land anyway" Ray was aware of his son's different methods of going about doing things. It was unusual, but oddly successful. "Very well then. Don't get hurt" Quinn said returning to her food. "I WANNA COME!" Hazel blurted. "Quiet!" Ryu glared back annoyed by his older sister. Hazel huffed and stuffed a mouth full of rice into her mouth. Ryu did the same. The two glared at each other from across the table with mouths stuffed with rice. So maybe it wasn't just Xander who went about doing things in unique ways...

Jay perked up and smiles at Jay. "Thank you!" She said. It was surprising they even acknowledge her in their household. She had stopped squirming in her seat and sat their happily watching as Hazel and Ryu did their silent treatment, glaring at each other.

"Thank you" Xander followed. "When are you two to leave?" Ray asked looking at Jay and Xander. "...actually Jay mapped out the area and predicted that he would attack our clan next" Xander said finishing his meal. Ryu quickly swallowed his rice, "Cool an attack!" Ray, Quinn, Xander, and Hazel raised a brow and shifted their gazes to Ryu. "I-I mean oh okay" Ryu said. The younger son usually sounded mature and gave straight forward responses so this outburst was different.

"And we want you all to stay put inside," Jay countered seeing as Ryu was so hyperactive to see the attack. She didn't want him-or anyone to get hurt because of her.

"I do not know if I can allow that. I will have guards in groups" Ray said. "YES!" Ryu blurted out again. "But you and Hazel are inside" Xander responded. "WHAT?" Hazel asked after swallowing her rice down. "Only guards, Jay, and me are outside. Everyone else needs to stay inside" Xander clarified. "That's better" Ray muttered eating the rest of his meal.

Jay smiled as Xander proved her right. 'Thanks' she mouthed to him wondering when they were going with the plan(s).

Xander shifted his gaze to Jay not to rush her with her meal or anything. He just nodded as a response to her thanks. "Rooming situation?" Quinn asked looking at Jay and Xander. "We'll walk around a bit. I'll familiarize her with the area then let her sleep in the the guest room near my quarters" Xander replied watching his two siblings resume eating regularly again. "Very well" Quinn said finishing her meal.

"Can we go now?" She had that queasy feeling in her gut that tells her something was bound to happen sooner or later. Jay had barely touched her food and she wasnt hungry, just uneasy.

Xander looked at his parents, "Excuse us". He stood up and pulled out Jay's chair, "Okay let's go". Was she okay? Maybe it was the fact that she was conversing with her opposing clan in a surprising civilized manner. Is she feeling sick? Was it from last night? Xander gave Jay a worried look but got rid of it half a second later. He looked away as he opened the door.

Jay took in a deep whiff of air and exhaled. "Ahh.. It was getting stuffy in that room," she admitted as they walked. "Should we start now or wait til tomorrow?" She asked.

"I understand" Xander replied feeling the breeze blow against him. "Start with going around the clan area?" He asked. "We still have some time. I'll show you a few places around here and we can do the rest tomorrow" The teen added looking around. "What happened last night? Are you okay? I don't want you to get my clan sick...and I don't want you to take part in the mission with an illness" Xander said trying to further explain his reason as to why he was curious about her state the previous night.

Jay gave him a reassuring smile. "I'm fine. I get those a lot so don't worry. I've been to a doctor and I show no sign of disease so I should be ok. It's just a nightmare," she explained as Xander walked her around the campus.

"Jay you see that top over there?" Xander pointed to a rather high roof. "Can you climb up there?" He hadn't really seen her exhibit her skills so he wasn't sure about her ability to climb the structure.

Jay felt nervous once again. "I haven't climbed anything in months," she explains, "but I'll see what I can do." It was an attempt. A suicidual one.

She boosted herself up the wall and managed to get 8 feet above ground. The roof was just overhead. If only she can reach it.. Jay caught a hold of one of the brick and hoisted herself up. Just as she was halfway on, her foot slipped and she fell. Stupid karma. This has got to be the worst day of her life.

Xander blinked and caught Jay. He laughed a little, "I'll get ya up there myself then. I need the practice anyway". His hands withdrew chains from the side of the structure as he looked at Jay, "That area is one of our main vantage points. There we will be able to see a good distance into the forest but beware people well into the forest may see us as well". Xander wrapped the chains once around each of his wrists, "May I? I won't harm you I promise. It's a technique I was able to pick up on around the Northern temple. A handy improvised tactic that I used...guaranteed survival if it makes you feel any better".

"Pssh right.. Guaranteed survival.." She muttered as she nodded in approval. What's the harm? Oh right. Falling off and breaking a neck or a leg or arm or yea you get it.

Xander continued to wrap each chain around his forearms once then around his shoulders. He glanced at Jay then wrapped the chains around her wrists and arms once. His hands quickly brought the chain around her waist twice then knotted it at the side of her stomach. "Looks weird but it works" Xander said turning Jay away from him and adjusting the measurements. Suddenly he stretched his arms upward then saw Jay's arms move upward as well. "Alright this should do it" He began to back up from the wall.
