The One Who Tries
Sun In The Gutter
Sang-Cheol was walking down the halls of Lab Icarus with her by his side. Much had been done in the last eight months. Increasing drug production and the new Sable Serpent leadership had caused a disturbance. However, another project that had been started in Lab Icarus caused the Lab much stress. They were managing by, however. Just a little work, and then it'd be easy sailing.
"Gerda, report. What's our output and status of our workers?" Sang-Cheol requested his assistance. A smile formed on Gerda's face, and her humming increased. The scientist waited as Gerda began to take out a book and flip through its pages.
"Let's see. We're still at 100% production capacity and are meeting demands as of right now." Gerda stated. Increasing the drug production had taken a lot out of Lab Icarus. The equipment had to be replaced frequently due to exceeding their limits. As well as getting more suppliers to create even more drugs. It gave Sang-Cheol a headache. On top of dealing with Lab Icarus, Sang-Cheol had to deal with people attacking newly formed supply lines and talking to the other Lab Heads about the drug trade.
Though that wasn't even the last of his headaches. "However, we've lost 85% of workers from overwork. Because of that, we've outsourced some of our production to other labs and brought people in to work for us." There was a small crease on Sang-Cheol's forehead when he heard about it. Lab Icarus had never been pushed this far to resort to such methods. It was only times like these that required such desperate messages.
"Is that all, Gerda?" His assistant nodded before they moved on to survey a different part of the lab. There was another interesting development that happened during the last eight months. Darius, for whatever, had decided to work here along with Ten. It came up in a conversation when Sang-Cheol, who had been forcefully removed from the fifth floor, was talking to Snake. While arguing against it, Sang-Cheol ended up begrudgingly accepting the proposal.
"Yes." With that said in done. Sang-Cheol couldn't wait for the day to be over. The sooner this day was going to end, the sooner he could sleep.
