Fantasy Mystical Academy

Mine watched the three student as a new student came over he seemed to talk like a snake. "I'll have to keep record of them." She made sure to whisper. She sat at a desk in the empty classroom next door looking through the wall with her built in x-ray.

Spike groaned when he was pulled into a closet "hey sweetheart" he said in a flirty tone to the unknown person who pulle him in. He removed the hands from his face "oh it's you" he said.

"I came here to get away from the world, you know the usual." She crossed her arms over her chest, mocking him.

"Let's do something crazy! But let's not get caught because I already almost got expelled once today and I don't need a repeat of that." She laughed.

"Alright then close your eyes" he said to he, smirking slightly.

I'm going to have to go fortonigh, but I'll be on all day tomorrow.

Oliver sat outside on the steps of the Academy, sulking. He didn't understand any of this. He couldn't understand why the teacher had gotten so mad or why he held such contempt for the vampire girl.

What made this whole mess even worse was that he had forced himself to apologize. He couldn't understand why he had done that either. With a sigh, he squished a nearby ladybug with his finger just to reassure himself that he wasn't going completely soft.

(Okay, gotta go for real this time, but I'll be back pretty soon I think. :D )

"You better not hit me in the face, I swear, I'll never talk to you again." she giggled and closed her eyes. {Alright, goodnight^^#

Mary observed everything from the art class without doing anything. Even though she was drawing, she paid close attention to how Oliver and the candy headed girl kept giving each other a piece of paper after writing on it and she felt uneasy. At the same time, she saw how Oliver dragged Yazz into his prank and felt relief when she didn't get in trouble. And also, Mary almost felt the trouble that Oliver was going through. It hurt her a bit on the inside when he apologized.

After Mary completed her work, she went outside the classroom trying to be unnoticed. She wanted to talk to the animals, feel a little peace, but then she saw Oliver sulking on the steps of the Academy. She sat down next to him and didn't say anything. Instead, she started humming and birds approached, even a squirrel made its way on top of her shoulder.

Animals have a healing power...everytime

(This was what she did in art class btw) <p><a href="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2015_07/57a8c327350f4_RedRose-Copy.jpg.c62a7ccf5f6c897ad4aea45ca07c4759.jpg" class="ipsAttachLink ipsAttachLink_image"><img data-fileid="60046" src="<fileStore.core_Attachment>/monthly_2015_07/57a8c327350f4_RedRose-Copy.jpg.c62a7ccf5f6c897ad4aea45ca07c4759.jpg" class="ipsImage ipsImage_thumbnailed" alt=""></a></p>

Oliver started as the elven girl sat next to him, but relaxed after he realized she wasn't giving to yell at him. When she began to hum, however, he was positively enthralled.

Oliver watched as some small animals made their way over, and almost had a small heart attack when a squirrel jumped up and perched on her. Oliver stared at the squirrel. The squirrel stared back.

Slowly, and without knowing exactly why, (which seemed to be the theme for today,) he reached out his fingers to pet the little creature.

Mary looked at the squirrel that was on her shoulder and calmed her heartbeat so the little animal would feel safe. As Oliver started to pet it, she looked straight into his eyes. It was a surprise that the squirrel didn't get scared at all. Its fluffy tail tickled her neck and she tried to keep herself from laughing, resulting in a wide smile.

(that mind reader thing...if you look in Mary's CS you can see that I wrote there that she liked to be underestimated so she could surprise people. I was just thinking about that when you wrote your reply to Callie @Cryobionic )

Oliver ran his fingertips over the soft creature, surprised at how calm it seemed. He looked up at Mary and saw her smiling, he lowered his hand, unintentionally running his fingers down her arm, and smiled back, softly.

"Thank you for... Coming out here." He finally said, ducking his head a little. Before it could get too awkward he added, "I've never petted a squirrel before. I usually snack on them."

(Haha, I didn't see that, but it's kinda awesome, huh? Also, I have to go again soon, I'm taking a bus, but I'll probably be back in an hour or so.)

Mary didn't really know what to answer. She took the squirrel in her hands and approached it to her face. She was nose to nose with the squirrel.

"These are beautiful creatures indeed"

For Mary it was inconceivable for someone to harm an animal. To eat one's soul was something she couldn't even find a word for.

At least it's not humans he snacks on, however these animals are practically sinless.

Oliver, sensing he had said something wrong, quickly backtracked. "I didn't mean that I, like, eat them all the time! I just... Well, sometimes it can be hard to find something proper, like a person or something, you know? I-its only a sometimes food..." Oliver scratched the back of his head, uncomfortable.

He looked at the squirrel in Mary's hands. "I really didn't mean to upset you, Mary. And after you were so nice to me too."

"Eating people is not exactly better, you know..."

Mary sighed. After a few moments she turned her face towards Oliver and said with a calm voice:

"I understand." then with a softer voice "I know that most people would rather eat animals than humans, it's just me...sometimes I care for them more than I care for certain people and that's how it was until now."

Mary put the squirrel in her lap without looking away from him.

Oliver looked at her face, intent on making her understand. "Mary, I'm an imp. I am literally from Hell, and when I grew up, we had souls in huge supplies, as you can imagine." He gave her a small crooked grin, and ran his finger over the squirrels head,

"I understand you might find the thought of killing people and devouring their souls horrifying, but I quite literally cannot deny the need, and now the that I'm kicked out from Hell I kind of have to get it from the natural source."

Oliver laughed softly, "I'll make sure not to eat around you, okay?" He said, poking her cheek playfully.
