Realistic or Modern Moonlight Springs RP-Witch Coven/The Twilight Brew Inn

Jasmine came back from her appointment, clutching a sheaf of papers and looking pale as the ghosts she called up. The necromancer seemed to be in a state of utter shock. "No... no... no..." She sat down, burying her head in her hands.

Upon hearing a voice, Ziggy's attention shifted. "Hold that thought," she muttered before going to the entrance. "Hey Jas," Ziggy murmured, going over to her fellow witch. " You alright?"

"No, Ziggy, I'm not alright." She raised her head weakly. The papers were medical records, and they were damning. "You know how I've been really sick the past couple of months? Stage 4 cancer. Untreatable, and they give me six months at the most." A wry chuckle came out of her mouth. "A dying necromancer. Ironic, isn't it?"

She stopped for a bit and thought putting her pointer finger on her chin and mumbling to herself
"No not really just gonna be here"
she sighed before giving a half hearted laugh
"Well it's nothing unusual, so enjoy yourself while you can"

Ziggy didn't know exactly how to answer. "Untreatable, huh," she murmured. Ziggy smiled since she didn't know what else to do. She was always reckless that way. "It'll be okay right? We can always find a way, right?" Ziggy said, without much thought

"Thanks, Ziggy. I'll manage." She pulled out her cellphone, looking at it intently. She kept all her magical notes and ritual recipes on it, and she needed to immerse herself in them now. Something nagged at the back of her mind, something she couldn't quite place.

Her expression puzzled Ziggy, but she didn't push the issue any further. "Well, if you need anything..." Ziggy said taking a step back, leaving Jasmine to whatever it was she was doing. Ziggy returned to the kitchen to finish helping Reenra. "Something's up with Jasmine," Ziggy said to Reenra.

She snapped her head towards Ziggy
"What?!...."
she sighed, her eyes filling with worry and then fading away
"...I'm not sure what to do...Should I talked to her?"
She then continued mumbling some utter nonsense before finishing the last of the plates and going to the service part of the inn, she turned back to ziggy
"I'm not any good with that, and either way I wouldn't be of any help so...Don't trust me to know this"
she turned and continued walking her eyes watering but she refused to let the tears spill

Ziggy was perplexed by everyone's bizarre behavior, but she ignored it. When Reenra left, Ziggy was left alone again. She hated this feeling. She needed people, a person, it didn't matter. The inn was just about empty anyway. Ziggy left the kitchen and stood at the center of the main lobby, her arms crossed in thought. A mischievous smirk stitched across her lips. "I know just what this place needs," she grinned. She closed her eyes and took a deep breath. Ziggy clasped her hands together as if she were praying, then shifted her palms so that her fingers interlocked. She muttered something before opening her eyes and pulling her hands apart. As soon as her eyes opened, the inn was filled with all sorts of people, flashing lights and loud music. Ziggy grinned. "I'll go get the snacks," she shouted to the crowd of dancing people, as she went into the kitchen. Considering her absolute suckage at summoning magic, Ziggy was surprised this time went pretty well. Too bad she was exhausted

after Hearing a ruckus and seeing waves of people suddenly pop up she ran to ziggy
"What...I...What...I just...." she looked at ziggy her eyes still a bit teary but barely noticeable she breathed in before smiling and saying
"Thanks I'm pretty sure you just got us started for the festival"
she then continued to help ziggy with getting the snacks

Jasmine looked up from the her studying at the sound of music. Ziggy just summoned... She couldn't believe it. Nothing she'd read had suggested the summoning people was even possible, and yet the young witch had pulled an entire party out of thin air. "Ziggy... that's incredible magic! I'm not sure anyone else in the coven can do that, even Leslie! You've got an incredible talent, and don't let anyone else tell you different."

Ziggy gave Reena a light smirk. She set a few bowls of snacks on the counter. She turned her head toward Jasmine. She chuckled softly. "I don't know about that," she murmured shyly

Reenra started to hum softly before looking at her owl and giving a small mischievous smile and using her power to acquire an owl form...sorta

Ziggy saw Reenra and almost burst in laughter. She shook her head before grabbing a bottle of liquor and joining in the festivities

Jasmine got up and starting dancing to the music. Sadly, all her moves were at least fifteen years out of date. "Come on, you two, have some fun!" It was amazing how much she had changed in the past few minutes. Seemed music really was good for the soul.

A few drinks into the night, and Ziggy was already brutally drunk. She started dancing around between Jasmine and Reenra. Ziggy giggled happily. She was having fun, even if it was just for a moment, Ziggy was happy

Reenra's owl effect had worn off and so had her energy, she looked at ziggy and Jasmine before sighing and giving a light laugh.
"Oh god you guys" she looked at ziggy
"How are you already drunk?"
she giggled as she cleaned up a bit, before putting her owl in her bedroom and curling up in a corner of the room ziggy and Jasmine were in, activating the cat effect so if anything were to happen she would hear it and be awoken quite quickly.

Ziggy stumbled around. "I'm not drunk!" she shouted, not exactly sure where the voice came from. She took another swig from her bottle. The world was starting to get a weird hazy, maybe it was the liquor, but Ziggy didn't care. She felt nothing but joy and excitement, and the party raged on. But as the night drew longer, reality crept into her hear. I'm alone. She tried to shake the thought from her mind, she tried drinking more, partying more, but it didn't work. Tears started streaming down her face. Ziggy had always been a sad drunk, she didn't know why this time would be any different. Ziggy began to sob.

The music stopped, and the people she had summoned froze in their places, only their heads turning to look at her, their eyes like perpetual black pits. "BE HAPPY," they said in a collective growl.

"Be happy" Those were the only words she heard before bursting awake and standing up looking at Ziggy and running towards her
"Are you ok?"

Jasmine watched as the party slowly slipped into melancholy. It took her a few minutes, but she was starting to figure things out. Illusion magic... deep ties with emotion magic. Oh, joy. She had to move carefully, lest Ziggy get scared. She had no clue what might happen if that came to pass. "Ziggy, what's wrong? Is there anything I can do to help?"

Reenra looked at Jasmine
"Do you know what's happening?"
She had the look of great fear not for her but for Ziggy and Jasmine She had seen a lot of deaths to be afraid of others dying but not to be afraid for herself
"I'm starting to get concerned"

Ziggy wiped her eyes and took a deep breath. "I'm fine," she said, addressing both of the girls.

"I'M FINE," the illusions boomed.

"As you can see, these illusions are tied into Ziggy's emotions." Jasmine gestured to the people around them. "If she's sad and depressed, so are they. If she gets scared or angry, well..." The necromancer looked around nervously. "Ziggy, you're clearly not fine. Something's under your skin, we can both see the evidence. Just tell us what it is, and we'll help you."

Reenra wanted to growl but stopped herself she didn't want to scare Ziggy she instead sighed
"No," She said softly
"You're not, you've gotta tell us what's wrong or else we can't help."
