Arthur shook his head, "Maybe I should let your brother start dealing with your Daredevil actions. He'll have to learn how to balance everything along with being Alpha." He pointed out.

"Really?" Arthur heard Kevin as he came to meet them. Kevin was smiling and looked between them, "Father son bonding usually deals with a nice talk not reading your son along with you."

Arthur looked at him and let Johnathan do, "When your son is like mine, then we will talk."

Kevin chuckled, "Pretty sure, Damian likes his library duties too much." He teased.

Johnathan rolled his eyes a little. "Damian is never not in the library." He said with a smirk. He liked Damian, he just was like the little brother to everyone, always picking fun when he could.

Kevin smirked, "I love my son the way he is, the library is a good place for a pup." he chuckled, "After all, I don't have as many gray hairs as your father, that way."

Arthur sighed, "You also look like a pup, compared to me and my gray hairs."

Kevin smirked, "What did your father always say, 'Always show your smile, never your power.'"

Arthur smirked, "Of course."

Johnathan looked between the two with an amused grin. He always liked seeing his father interact with his Beta. They acted like brothers even though they weren't. "You should tell Wade that more." He teased, grinning playfully as he started to move a little closer to Kevin who he would be with for the rest of his training that day.

Kevin smirked as Arthur glanced to Johnathan, as Kevin placed his hand on Johnathan's opposing shoulder, "It's an Alpha born thing. Trust me. Wait until he gets his ass handed to him a few times and he'll learn."

Arthur rolled his eyes with a smirk, "I'm going to deal with some things." He announced before looking to Kevin, "Not a word out of you."

Kevin just grinned, "What? Shouldn't the pups know their Golden boy of a father was a teenager at one point." He teased.r AArthurust looked at him and Kevin chuckled at what he looked to him, "Of course." He said before Arthur left them. Kevin smirked at Johnathan, "One day, you'll be able to tell Wade's pups a few things about him."

Johnathan laughed, amused by his father's reaction. "Oh I'll have a whole lot to tell them." He said. "So...you sure you can't share any of my father's stories?" He asked playfully.

Kevin smirked as he gidded Johnathan with him, walking to the Beta house. "Pretty sure he said no. But I can tell you something about being a teenager when he was." He smirked.

Lauren sighed as she opened Arthur's house door, "Art?" She called as she walked in. Lauren was a little crazy in a way, so the rule of knocking she overlooked, always, unlike her twin brother Warren.

Johnathan laughed. "I think that would work too. I mean if you wanted to tell me something about you being a teen, it's just coincidence if my father is brought up since you two were always together." He teased.

Only Kara was home alone for the time. She had been cleaning, a habit more than anything to do and she didn't really have anything else to do. She went out into the front where Lauren was and smiled. "Hey, he's not home Lauren." She said. She always enjoyed seeing her mate's siblings. She had long ago gotten used to their quirks.

Kevin chuckled, "I think a description is the best I can do." He chuckled even more. Then he sighed and thought, "Arthur was a very wild wolf, he spent a large amount of time training himself, in the woods. Well, I was there but I didn't always train with him. He was also very big on making his father notice him. His father was pretty strict. Always called us by link, rarely spoke and Arthur always tried to get him to notice him and say something nice. But he was scolded most of the time. He was trusted, always mature around his father. But get him out of sight, he played a lot of jokes and he had this thing we're he would pick fights." He laughed.

Lauren looked at Kara and smirked, "Really? I figured he would be stealing time with you, while the rest of us did our work." She teased, knowing Arthur worked more then anyone in the pack. She also knew she was right, he stole time with Kara, as much as he could.

Johnathan smiled some as he listened, because even if he wouldn't admit it out loud, it sounded a little bit like him sometimes. "I can't imagien that. My father is so...perfect now." He said.

Kara grinned. "I wish he was, I think he is still out with the boys...or just finishing, I know they're back in the pack." She said. She tilted her head to the side a little. "Is there something I can help you with? I know you are looking for your brother, but if there is anything I can do, I am happy to." She said

Kevin chuckled, "He isn't perfect, just well trained." He assured Johnathan, as they got to the steps. "I know your father, better then most, perfect isn't his thing."

Lauren smirked as she slowly walked towards Kara with a lazy and almost taunting way, "I need to speak to him about the Elite. You are a sweet and helpful wolf, but it is very important I see my brother, alone." She smirked, leaning towards Kara, "He'll come faster if you tell him to come."

Johnathan smiled a little. "And now he's getting Wade to be like that too." He said. He hesitated a moment. "You agree with him don't you? That I shouldn't be Wade's Beta?" He knew it was silly to ask, everyone thought it was strange for him to be Beta but he didn't know why his father agreed. He was still Alpha, he could have made Wade chose someone else.

Kara sighed as she watched Lauren. Her antics sometimes still put her on edge, but she trusted Lauren. "I will ask him, though if it's so important why don't you link with him?" She asked. Arthur? Where are you? Lauren is looking for you. She said.

Kevin paused, pulling away from Johnathan, he sighed, "No. I believe that Wade's choice was wrong. It is the difference between Alpha and Wade, Arthur always knew that when you select a sibling as Beta. Not only because the pack should never be controlled by one family. But because the Alpha code forbids it. But Alpha code also allows the Alpha born the right to select their Beta unquestioned." He explained.

Lauren smiled, "Good." She said as she stood straight. She moved to seat beside Kara, "So, how are the boys? I hear, Wade has gotten strong and Johnathan is still a trouble maker." She chuckled, as she made small talk.

Johnathan nodded. "But my father is Alpha, shouldn't gen have say over what the Alpha-born chooses if it goes against Alpha code?" He asked curiously. His father and Wade wouldn't talk to him about it.

Kara smirked a little as she watched Lauren and then moved over to her. "That about sums it up." She said. "My boys are very different from each other and their father and yet at the same time they are all similar. Of course you remember as well as I how Arthur could be when he was their age." She added.

Kevin sighed, "He could have. But.... Like I said before, Arthur was trusted as an Alpha born, something that he feels is an Alpha borns position. To be trusted, I don't think your father wants you as Beta for more then the Alpha code, but he wants to trust Wade's choice. In the end, Wade and Arthur would probably buttheads a lot less of he selected someone else." He smirked, "He may act like you are a pain, but Wade rarely objects your father, unless it has to do with you."

Lauren grinned, "They would never recognize him."

Johnathan looked to Kevin a little surprised. "Really?" He said. He knew Wade had stood up for him before against other wolves. Especially when they were younger, but he didn't know about that with his father.

Kara laughed quietly. "I think sometimes it worries Arthur that they can be so much like he was."

Kevin smirked at Johnathan, "Part of Arthur's point is just that. You don't see the things around you in the light they are, until they are gone. When the Test comes, I am going to make sure you are ready." They didn't talk much about the Test, a day when the Alpha believed his Alpha born was ready to be Alpha. So they would leave the pack without telling anyone, as if they had died and leave the pack for the Alpha born and the selected Beta to run. Normally, they created a problem, Alpha and Beta, just to make sure that the Alpha born could handle it.

Lauren grinned, but looked at the door, as Arthur walked in. He sighed, "My office, now." He ordered and Lauren jumped to her feet. She smirked back at Kara, before disappearing into his office towards the back of the house, down the hall. Arthur went to Kara, kissing her lips, as he kneeled down in front of her, "Are you alright?" He knew Lauren could be a little aggressive at times.

Johnathan smiled and nodded. "I'm here to learn. Except...today is paper work right?" He said.

Kara smiled and kissed him again. "I am alright." She assured him. "As much as I want you with me, we can talk tonight. As aggressive as your sister can be, she doesn't do this unless it really is urgent." She said

Kevin nodded, "Today, you work out strategic plans, some banking errors that need to be solved and prioritizing pack feed back." he smiled as he started into the Beta house, "Pretty much a consensus of the pack."

Arthur smirked at her, before he sighed, "I will be back and then I will make the time to be with you." He sighed as he stood up, "I promise." he smiled at her.

Johnathan nodded, smiling some. "Okay, let's get started. I can do this." He said.

Kara smiled and Nodded. "I believe you. I love you Arthur." She said.

Kevin smirked, as he went in, "let's get to work then."

Arthur smiled, as he got to his feet and sighed as he walked away from her to talk with Lauren.

Johnathan smiled and nodded as he followed Kevin. He wanted to prove that he could do it all.

Kara sighed once he was gone, moving to get some food together for him and Lauren if they wanted it.

It was a while before Lauren came out, she glanced to Kara with a smirk before leaving. Arthur came out a few minutes later, he sighed as he walked into the room, thinking over what Lauren told him and what was an option. He was thinking about it all, not paying much attention around him, as he sat on the couch and sighed.

Kara nodded a little to Lauren as she left and then looked to Arthur. She walked over to him slowly, and then carefully sat beside him. She could feel that he was...uneasy perhaps? And she wanted to make sure to give him the space he needed. She also knew in the past it had often helped him to run his thoughts by her to help sort them. "What's going on Arthur? Does it have to do with what you found on your run this morning?" She asked.

Arthur sighed, snapping back as he looked at Kara, with a half smirked, he took her hand, "It's a lot worse then I thought it was." he looked at her, "We may not have a choice but to fight or worse." he sighed, as he looked away, "I don't know how much more time I will have to proper them."
