"That's what my mate is for. She can say the good stuff, I can just spoil your pups." He teased. "I will protect them though. You protect me, so it's the least I can do to make sure your family is safe too."

 

[Matreania]

Wade smirked, as he looked at Johnathan, "Nat, I protect you, because you are part of the pack and I am supposed to protect you. Plus, I think being my little brother and the weakest means I have to."

 

[FangAndOzy]

Johnathan chuckled. "I'm only weak compared to you and besides...it's not like I don't appreciate it." He said withba smile.

 

[Matreania]

Wade smirked, "Yeah, there is that." he sighed before he stretched, "We should start finishing up, father will be back soon."

 

[FangAndOzy]

Johnathan smiled and nodded. He ate as much of the meat he could. He didn't want to be hungry again so soon.

 

[Matreania]

Wade smirked as he watched his brother, but he was done before Johnathan and was already finishing taking the meat off the bones, that he didn't eat when his father came. Arthur sighed, "Ready?"

Johnathan stuffed one more bit of food in his mouth and then nodded as he hopped to his feet. "Yep!" He said.

 

[Matreania]

Arthur sighed, "Come on, I'm taking you both to training before I get to work." he commented before he motioned them to follow. Wade followed with teh meat in hand and smirked at Johnathan.

"Are you a wolf or a peg." he commented with a chuckle.

 

[FangAndOzy]

"I think I'm a hybrid." Johnathan teased back, the jab not bothering him this time around.

 

[Matreania]

Wade chuckled, "Part wolf, part pig, I am so telling mother." he said, Arthur was silent as he walked with them back to the pack.

Johnathan pretended to look ashamed. "Oh no...don't tell mother...then she'll stop feeding me." He said playfully. He laughed some and then playfully shoved his brother. "I think you're the real pig and you just want more of mother's cooking all to yourself."

 

[Matreania]

Wade chuckled, "Best cooking in the world, why wouldn't I? You are just jealous, because you don't appreciate what you get." he teased.

 

[FangAndOzy]

"So not true. I appreciate what I get...just maybe a little too quickly." Johnathan said, smiling some as he looked over to his brother.

 

[Matreania]

Wade chuckled, "that is not appreciating it that is inhaling it." he pointed out, teasing.

 

[FangAndOzy]

"I can appreciate what I inhale." Johnathan countered, grinning playfully. "And I can appreciate more quantities that way too."

 

[Matreania]

Wade chuckled, "You would be surprised how little that you can understand. It's not how much it is how rich it is."

 

[FangAndOzy]

Johnathan smiled. "All the more reason I just have to eat more." He teased.

 

[Matreania]

Wade chuckled, "Of course you do." He teased before they got to the pack, Arthur stopped.

He turned to them, "Wade, go to the training field, I will be there after a while. Start training with Elric." He motioned him off.

Wade smirked, nodding before turning to Johnathan, "Have fun with your paperwork." He teased before running off.

Arthur looked at Johnathan, "Well with me." He told him before he started towards the Beta office where Johnathan spent most of his time in training.

Johnathan nodded, eargrh following his father. "I'll show you I can do it. I'll get everything done today." He promised his father.

 

[Matreania]

Arthur sighed, nodding, "I am sure you will. But you need to stay focused, Johnathan." He started before he thought about what next to say. "I don't favor Wade, I don't favor either of you. What you are learning is just as important and powerful as his training. Some of what you are learning is more important. This is why you must be serious about it. Just as Wade is with his training. He progresses faster then you, not because he is older but because he knows that is training is part of this pack survival."

 

[FangAndOzy]

Johnathan's upbeat mood fell a little and he nodded. "I know father. I just...I feel left behind and like you two get to spend more time together and I miss out on that." He said quietly, not liking how it sounded but it was true. "I guess I can't complain, I wouldn't get to spend time with either of you if Wade didn't make me his Beta." He added.

 

[Matreania]

Arthur growned slightly, he didn't like that fact, he thought Wade was being silly and childish when he made that choice, but he allowed it because it was decided, it was tradition. He sighed, "Wade will be Alpha. I have never had a sibling that I felt I had to compete with. Being left out isn't part of this pack. I know it seems like I spend a lot more time with Wade, but my time is spent for this pack and no other reason. This is how this pack becomes better. Everyone has a part, a place, even a pup. Just don't forget... This isn't training you to be any less then an Alpha, your training is so you know how to play your part for the good of the pack."

Johnathan clenched his jaw a little. "Yeah, I got that. I just meant every now and then I like being around my dad." He said, shrugging a little and then picking up his pace to get to the office where he'd be trapped the rest of the day.

 

[Matreania]

Arthur sighed, grabbing Johnathan by the collar and pulling him back beside him with ease. "Then don't walk away." He commented and then smirked, "I spend most of our time together, dragging you off the edge. You are the son of an Alpha, but you are still only special to your mother and I. Don't forget that."

Johnathan looked to his father, born ready to be done pouting but having a hard time hiding his smile. "It's easy to go on the edge when I know I'll get all your attention for a minute...even if you are mad at me most the time that happens." He said with an impish smirk.
