"A gunwoman's worries"​

"Well because . . . I could've swore I saw his eyes as red, not dark brown when he left the food cart here." Minnie muttered as she took the bowl of soup from Sen. "Thank you."

Serena jumped when Seth dropped the food, turning at him with wide eyes. "Seth-! What-?! What is-" Her cheeks turned red as she looked around from her spot if there were any runes on the ceilings or walls.

"Um . . . but Seth . . . wouldn't you have felt it as soon you entered our room?" The blonde pulled the blanket over her shoulders, now feeling too exposed for her liking if that was true.

" Perverts?! "​

Sen thought awhile. Couldn't be a spell for better sight, Sebastian had glasses. He crunched on a crouton, then stopped and looked at his bowl. "You don't think that was someone else, do you? . . . We need to check on the prisoner." he placed his unfinished bowl on the tray and ran back down to the dungeon.

Meanwhile, Seth had been going around the room, feeling for anything out of place, but he couldn't sense anything. "We need to talk to the princess, who brought our food?"

"Perverts?!"​

"I-I don't think so. He was polite and posh as ever - Ah! Sen! Wait-!" Minnie quickly placed her bowl on the tray as well and followed Sen back down to the dungeon. If he looked inside, he would see . . . the prisoner sitting in the same place as before, only trying to stretch his legs with minimal pain from the cuts on his tendons.

"Maybe we should speak with Milk about Sebastian?" She suggested quietly, not wanting to catch the prisoner's attention.

Meanwhile Serena continued to check but nothing caught her eye. "Sebastian. He did say that he needed to prepare for lunch . . . I think he might have brought food up here too." She did hear him talk with Milk before Seth had arrived back but she couldn't hear their muffled words through the closed door. After changing her clothes by bursting into flames to her Foo-outfit, the blonde jogged with Seth to the princess' office to speak with her.

When they arrived by the closed door, they will hear Milk talking with Sebastian about something . . . why are they being so hush-hush?!

" Perverts?! "​

"Okay, wait, let me ask if the guard saw anyone come down here." and he went over to the guard to ask if anyone, anyone at all came down to the dungeons, even a fellow guard. If there was, he asked what they were doing down here, if not, he was going to tell Minnie to go ahead without him, because he's going to continue asking the man questions.

Meanwhile, up in the castle, Seth tripped on the rug and grabbed on to an empty suit of armor, sending the whole thing crashing and clanging down on the floor with him. He rolled, to avoid the falling halbred that fell with a thunk a few centimeters from his ear. He lost this ear once, he wasn't losing it again.

" Identity Crisis "​

The guard shook his head. Nobody came down to the dungeons, not even a fellow guard. Minnie nodded, kissing his cheek before going up stairs to search for the Princess.

Meanwhile, Serena let out a gasp and checked on Seth as soon he rolled away from the halberd. "Seth-! Are you-"

"Who's there?!" The blonde tensed up and without meaning to, hid behind another suit of armor, tense and shaking a bit. She couldn't help it-! After the many times of pranking James and hearing his 'I'm about to be angry' voice, she instinctively hide from any loud yelling that might spell trouble. She can hear someone's footsteps and then-

"Sir Pendragon?" It was Milk and Sebastian, aghast of seeing Seth on the floor with a huge ax next to him; embedded in the floor. The princess helped him up while the butler cleaned up the fallen armor. "Are you okay? Should I call a healer?"

After making he's okay and letting a guard take him to a healer, just to be sure, Seth would notice that Serena didn't come out yet; she shook her head at him. The blonde didn't want the pair to know she was there just yet. She was curious and stayed to find out.

It took a few minutes, but the silence was broken by Sebastian's voice.

"Milk," Serena peeked from behind the armor to see Sebastian's concerned face. Geez-! Even when he's sad, the man is handsome-

"I honestly think we should tell them. They seem like good people." Milk sighed, rubbing the bridge of her nose.

"No, we can't. Remember? I promised to keep your identity secret from everyone until the right time comes."

"But Milk, can't we just tell Ms. Lock and the others? Just them? It would help them know why you-"

"No-! They must not know-!" She growled and Serena raised a brow. What in the world is going on here?!

"Milk-!"

"I said no-!"

"Um . . . " Serena timidly came out from hiding, fully seeing the princess' face turn paler and Sebastian's normally narrow eyes go wide. "Can you explain why you are hiding Sebastian's identity? Who are you?"

" Identity Crisis "​

Sen thanked the guard, then kissed Minnie too, feeling thankful that she made him rest. He felt better now. His stomach rumbled again, but he ignored it. "Time for round two."

This time he asked the prisoner about Earnest's kids, where they are, and how to rescue them, and all he knew about Poppy and Gravitas.

"Identity Crisis"​

"I left them with someone near the gates in Hearts." He grumbled, not really in the mood with talking now that he really felt the throbbing pain of his tendons. The older man mentioned about letting him show Sen where the secret opening to going in and out or offer to draw a map for them to follow. At the topic of Poppy and Gravitas, he paled a bit.

". . . One is there when the other is not. I see Poppy more though." He said that Poppy tended to look down on the newcomers and very secretive with the older members. Yet for some reason, she always has orders from Gravitas himself. "It's very strange but I never questioned it."

Meanwhile Minnie was passing by the healers' ward when she saw Seth inside and she got worried. "Seth, what happened? Are you okay?"

Sen agreed on the map, still saying that meeting with this Gravitas would be better.

In the medical ward, Seth was alright, just chopped hair. "Yeah, I accidentally tripped and pulled down a suit of armor. Thanks!" he grinned at the healers who were nice enough to regrow his hair that now reached down his shoulders.

He leapt of the bed and jovially put an arm around Minnie. "Off to continue lunch! Where's my brother?"

When they were out of earshot he started to tell Minnie about possible spying runes in their room and about Serena eavesdropping right now.

"Identity Crisis"​

The healers, nice old grannies, blew kisses at Seth. Chuckling how adorable he is and one even put his hair up like a shinobi would.

"Bye bye, sonny~! Come back soon~" Minnie dully stared as they left the healers' ward, almost wanting to ask why did old ladies blow kisses at him but she digress.

"Sen is with our prisoner right now." The gunner frowned a bit, now disturbed at the idea of spying runes in their rooms. ". . . Perverts . . ." Is what she concluded, crossing her arms defensively. She wondered why Serena wanted to eavesdrop. She told Seth about seeing Sebastian with red eyes and asked if he ever was so sleepy that he started to hallucinate too.

Meanwhile, the old man told Sen that he would love to show him to Gravitas, however . . .

"I told you. I barely seen the man. I don't know where he could be. So even if I wanted to show you, I wouldn't be able to."

" Identity Crisis "​

"Alright, I'll take whatever you can give me then." Sen told the assassin. And when that was done, he'd go up and head to Princess' Milk's chambers to look for Minnie.

Seth wasn't sure where to go. An eavesdropping Serena shouldn't be disturbed, but there is a chance of danger, so, after parting with Minnie in the pretense of searching for his brother. Seth tried to sneakily climb up to princess Milk's chamber from the outside and possible peer through the window.

"Identity Crisis"​

When Seth peered through the window, he would see an agitated Milk tapping one of her feet, her arms crossed. Serena is facing her, holding a photo frame and staring as she listened something that Milk said. She looked up and responded back, making Milk sigh.

The violinist's eyes wandered over to the window and spotted Seth's peeking head. She smiled and turned to Milk who raised a brow when the blonde walked to the window, opening the frames.

"Serena, what are you-?"

"Seth, you need to come in here before a guard thinks you're a spy." She said, offering her hand towards her beau. Her brow raised when she saw that he suddenly grew a bun, poking it curiously once he was inside the room before closing the window.

"Sir Pendragon?! What were you doing outside my window?! That's dangerous!" Milk scolded him for a moment. "You could've fallen down-!"

Then a sudden and sharp knock was heard, Minnie's voice followed after. She must have found Sen on her way here.

"Milk, can we come in?" The princess sighed, rubbing her forehead. "You and your friends are . . . really something, Serena." The blonde chuckled sheepishly as the princess let the other couple come in her office as well before locking it behind them.

Seth did look like a spy with bad intentions. Thinking there was danger, he had his dagger out like a man bun ninja. But when Serena came forward smiling at him, he was confused, and came in tucking the dagger away, as she poked his man bun that wiggled.

"I was . . . well . . . you or Sebastian or someone in this castle put hidden spying things in our room!" he said defensively to the princess.

"What's going on?" said Sen looking at Sebastian's eyes, then he stepped forward in front of Minnie protectively when princess Milk locked the door. He became tense.

"Identity Crisis"​

"Excuse me?!" Milk exclaimed, looking offended. "Why I never-!" She huffed and sat down on a chair, already annoyed and agitated even more. Sebastian noticed how Sen looked at him in the eye before sighing again, shoulders slumped.

"Um . . . Sir Pendragon - er . . . Sir Seth, what makes you think someone put spying things in your rooms?" Sebastian asked, feeling a little awkward now as he felt tensions run high quickly. Serena cleared her throat as Minnie held onto Sen's sleeve, tensing up and ready to duck.

"Because we have soup, croutons, and cake." Sebastian raised a brow, confused. "Seth muttered it while we were about to sleep and we were alone in our room at the time."

"Oh . . . No, I usually help make soup with croutons or bread or crackers and something sweet. The chefs made cake today. It's a traditional dish for rainy days in my home state." That's when Serena grinned mischievously .

"Okay, so . . . So I'm guessing you're not from Spades, are you? If Spades is not your home state." She deducted. "Can you tell us who you really are now?"

With a nod, Sebastian excused himself in the office washroom and after a few minutes of running waters, he came back out. A dark brown dye stained towel in one hand and a contact lens case in another. Wet raven black hair swept in one side, framing his blood red eyes that made Minnie gasp out.

"So you do have red eyes!"

"I'm sorry for deceiving you all, but we had no choice. Let me reintroduce myself, my name is Cadbury Chocolate and I'm the sole Prince of the state of Hearts." He said suavely, looking apologetic and once again, Serena thought he's just dripping with good looks again.

"It's like a mature version of Chenglei." whispered Seth to Serena.

Sen's jaw dropped. "Hold on, hold on." he looked from Princess Milk to Sebastian. "I am confused. I thought you died . . . why are you in disguise as a butler?" he said, amazed and dumbfounded.

"Identity Crisis"​

Serena snorted, nodding in agreement as at least Cadbury didn't start hitting on anybody within sight like Chenglei did long before knowing him.

Milk let out a 'hmph!' as she crossed her arms. "I never said he died. Just his parents." Then she relaxed her brows, her anger fizzed out as she talked numbly. "He really did go missing along with a few others, like the old man in dungeon has said, and my family had search parties for him . . . but when we found his parents dead and mutilated like that . . ."

"The Spades' royal family didn't want to chance at whoever killed my parents kill me too. So they had disguised me as a butler all these years after finding me hiding inside of a tree trunk."

Serena snapped her fingers, looking at Milk. "So that's why you cancelled the search parties after the Dragon war; You wanted everyone to believe that you gave up on looking for him to keep the Prince safe."

"Um . . . but what about Meeto? The past you had with him?" Minnie mentioned and Sebastian, or rather Cadbury, smiled. "Oh! That part is true. We really did grew up together when we were kids. Bothering the guards and such . . . those were good times-"

"Not really. I had to make up excuses for Meeto's and your actions." Grumbled Milk.

"Which is why we stopped and then I was kidnapped by the shades from the evil dragon the night after drawing a mustache on your father's painting."

Seth perked up, chuckling. Sebastian was his kind of person. "Bold, very bold." he nodded, impressed. "He's really like Chenglei." he whispered to Serena again, remembering that time they visited the couple in the Orients and Kenren's prosthetics had all kinds of drawings on it. He was the right hand of the ruler and the love to boot. He wondered what would happen if Chenglei and Cadbury were in the same room.

Sen was thinking again. "So . . . why are the both of you telling us this now?"

"Thank you." The prince nodded at Seth and Serena, who leaning on Seth's shoulder and hiding her grinning face.

Milk sighed again and Cadbury chuckled.

"Ms. Lock was hiding behind metal armor and heard Milk and I arguing."

"We were not arguing. We were talking." She corrected, making Cadbury shake his head in amusement.

"Arguing. I wanted to let you and your friends know about me hiding. We were planning for me to get back to my country once Spades knew for sure who killed my parents and apprehend them."

" Identity Crisis "​

"Do you think it could be this Gravitas guy, Prince Cadbury?" asked Seth, booping Serena's head sideways.

"We're planning to go back to the State of Hearts tonight." said Sen, and he showed him the map the assassin had drawn for him. "Through this passage. And look for Earnest's kids and probably this Poppy person --- oh!" he suddenly remembered something and pulled out a couple of sacks of gold from his person. "This weighs just about right." he placed it on the table. "Turned out it took us about six thousand gold to get a lead, princess."

He then noticed the ledger and notes of the doctor he hadn't checked yet. "Prince Cadbury, do you know, these people?" he pointed at the names the letters were addressed to and the name of the sender. "That assassin was talking about this doctor, he was selling acid made from dragon liver in the black market, and they were looking for him."

"Why were they looking for him?" asked Seth.

"I forgot to ask that." said Sen.

"Hold on, I'll go ask the guy." said Seth, and went out of the room and come back about ten minutes later.

Serena mewed and playfully poked his man ninja bun again.

"Just call me Cadbury. I'm not use to anybody calling me Prince." The Prince said before nodding. "Yes. The possibility is there, I'm afraid."

He and Milk took a closer look at the map as they listened, then the princess perked up. "Oh! That's waaaay less then I thought you would spend. Nice work, you two." She immediately put the gold away as Cadbury continued to read the list of names on the paper.

"Hmm. No. I don't recognize most of them. Though I wouldn't be surprised if they were part of the black market auctioneers. I heard they love to sell very dangerous stuff, Meeto and Earnest probably knows more then me." Then he points at the Doctor's title. "But I do recognize him. He eludes the guards that police the nights in the streets. The guy is always around whenever someone is mysteriously murdered from drinking acid without them knowing."

The old man would tell the reason for why he was searching for the Doctor. "Gravitas wanted to talk with the Doctor about his experiments and test subjects. He's getting impatient and wants results before the big event."

"Is it possible for your soldiers to bring him in for questioning, princess?" asked Sen, after Seth came back.

Seth put his arm around Serena's shoulders, then whispered to her an Minnie. "I know my brother's against you two going, but if we're going to go against an entire assassin's guild, we're going to need your help. So . . ." he glanced at his brother who was still busy talking to the princess, "Do the both of you want to follow us in disguise?"

"I doubt it." Milk admitted, placing her hands on her hips. "My parents have tried bringing him in to question him before for those crimes, but he never did. They couldn't find him, but let me see what I can do." She grumbled quietly as she looked into her papers. "Maybe-!" So she talked and planned with Sen. She mentioned it might take a while to search for the man, but she will try to find a lead on him and let Sen know.

Meanwhile with Seth, Minnie crossed her arms, huffing quietly. "Obviously, I'm going to follow you two."

"It would be bad if you guys ran into the assassin's guild, so yea. I'll come too." Serena whispered back, wrapping an arm around Seth's waist and leans her head on his shoulder.

"Okay, I'll keep him distracted." winked Seth.

Sen stayed a while longer, talking to the princess and Cadbury more about the secret passage to the State of Hearts and things they should watch out along the road as they travel. "You want to go ahead and finish lunch, Minnie?" he asked her when he realized it's going to be a while.

Meanwhile, Seth, leaving this to his brother, asked Serena if she wanted to continue having lunch and invited Minnie too so that they could eat (and plan) together. He quickly drew a crude copy of the map and carried it with him out the door.

"Identity Crisis"​

Minnie almost wanted to say 'no' but the more she thought about it, the more she realized it would be best to take on Seth's invite to eat. Especially since Sen is busy with catching this Doctor person with the princess. So she told Sen that she will eat with Seth and Serena and left the room.

Her teal blue eyes looked back at the closed door as she walked away, frowning and her shoulders slumped. Then just as quickly, she puffed up her chest with a determined gleam in her eyes as she continued on her way.

After having the meeting and lunch with the mischievous couple about how the girls will sneak away with the twins, Minnie patiently waited for Sen to come out of the meeting; sitting in their room. Since she couldn't go outside and practice her shooting, she polished her metallic arm as the drizzling became a down pour. The sky darkened from the grey and heavy looking clouds.

The thunder rumbled again, sounding louder then before. She can hear people's steps muffled behind the door outside and Minnie sighed once more; realizing the time. Then she heard Cadbury's step and panicked mutters about 'I need to check on dinner preparations'. Of course, he needs to play butler for the rest of the castle staff.

"The meeting should be over by now." The sniper whispered to herself before a strike of lightning flashed by the window and she flinched in surprise, dropping ball joint of her arm to the floor. It rolled under the bed, her hand clenched the wet napkin.

". . . It's just lightning . . ." She muttered, trying to relax her tense back to move.

" Identity Crisis "​

Only Cadbury's footsteps passed through Minnie's room. There wasn't Sen's familiar quick busy strides. Then there was a knock outside the window pane. And there illuminated in the lightning was Sen making a zombie face.

Meanwhile in Seth and Serena's room, after scheming with the ladies and finally filling his belly with soup and croutons that he asked Serena if she could summon her fireflies to try to heat them up again, he made final preparations to his pack and gear, then settled under the warm blankets to cuddle amorously with his violinist. He decided to keep the ninja man bun, and was dashingly reciting haiku's of samurai's of old.

"If pieces I lack,
and whole I can't seem to be,
will you finish me?"​

Until it became silly.

"Quietness,
and the cicadas' chriping sounds
being absorbed by the rocks"​

And Seth ended up speaking to Serena in haiku's for the rest of their time and probably for their entire quest. He was having too much fun.

"Serena, my love; did you pack enough potions?; it is raining hard."

"A moment's rest"​

As soon as Minnie heard a knocking from the window pane, she looked over and walked a bit closer; curious if Seth came by for something. She knows the twin enjoys using ninja tactics at times. Flinching again from the sudden flash of light, she blinked and froze for a second before-

"S-Se-! Oof-!" The surprised sniper back-peddled, tossing the wet napkin at Sen's face (or tried to anyways) as she tripped from the rug; Falling on her bottom and leaning on her only arm. Then she puffed up her reddened cheeks, eyes narrowed in her adorable fluster. "Seeeeeen-!!"

Now she looked for pillows to throw at her silly beau, resisting to grin.

Meanwhile, after heating up their lunch and eating them, Serena packed along with Seth. Double checking if she had enough potions before she climbed into bed and cuddled amorously with Seth. The blonde would hum a bit as she listened to his haikus then snorted whenever it became silly.

"Yes. I did, my Love; I packed an umbrella too; since it is raining."
